We were grateful for another great holiday at this lovely resort with such wonderful people! After multiple visits, TRS feels like home to us. It's always nice to see so many familiar faces again (and meet a few new ones, too.) Besides the beach, the staff are what keeps us coming back. So many people made this visit memorable: - Wandy (bellman and driver) and Racheley and Braudilia (reception) - Restaurant staff Alfredo, Edminda, Felix, Hanfy, Ramonita, and Reifri for their amazing smiles and friendly service, and Anito who always remembered that we took our coffee black and brought me my daily morning mimosa - Krys (butler), who went out of her way to get us coconuts - Osias, who we were so pleased to see had been promoted since our last visit - Daniel, David, Juan, and Luis, who always had time for a quick chat and made sure everything was satisfactory - Richard at the gym - Jeudy, for fun and delicious drink presentations - Stephanie (Helios hostess) but we missed Angela who was on vacation - Danny and Domingo, the dynamic duo (beach bartenders) - Santa (room attendant) who is so bubbly and full of joy - Kiko (towel hut) who seems like he does the work of three and always greeted me with a friendly, "Hello, lady!" every time he saw me. Hope to see everyone again soon!

Fantastic Rack of Lamb | Even BETTER service! (Delicioso cordero, y una camarera fantástica!)
The restaurant, "Tentazione" at the resort was absolutely beautiful. The rack of lamb was out of this world delicious, and our server, Yeni, was so attentive and helpful in creating the perfect dining experience. Muchas gracias, Yeni and Tentazione!

Me and my husband come here on our honeymoon, we had a good time but wasn’t great. Definitely didn’t feel like a 5 star. The place itself is lovely and looks lovely, but the minute you walk into the lobby you’re being Harassed. We got approach by a guy in a blue top asking to show us around the hotel and he would give us a free gift. He ended up dropping us to some time share holiday scam that wasted 4 hours of our time! Even when our bags were taken to our room the man wouldn’t leave until we left him a tip. Was told it was a private beach on the listing when I booked but it wasn’t and you’re constantly harassed. 6 times in half an hour we was approached to try to book things, buy things etc. a guy come over with a parrot and put it on me then tried asking for $50! There should be staff on the beach moving these people on. Even when we said no thanks they kept asking why. Apart from that the beach itself was lovely. It was hard to find a sunbed anywhere in the hotel and at the beach even though there is signs everywhere saying “these can not be reserved” and people leave their towels anyway. 90% of the staff were very lovely and very helpful but the other 10% seemed quite rude and unhelpful and unwilling to help (unsure if this is a langue Barrier tho) Our room seemed like a 3 star hotel. Most things were broken / outdated. We had to get our safe fixed 3 times! The bath tap was almost off, I had to pull the plug out with a spoon, the shower was absolutely awful barely any water come out of it. The room was grubby and was in serious need of updating definitely didn’t seem like a 5 star. The restaurants were great, good choice but hard to book and didn’t like that all menus were through QR codes on your phone. What is wrong with a normal menu? We ate at the buffet our 3rd day in and all of a sudden I had diarrhoea, my husband was fine and the only thing I ate differently was salad so I assume it had been washed in bad water. The pharmacy there was a complete rip off and I don’t know how TRS have allowed them to charge my husband $25 for a strip of paracetamol! All in all, we won’t return to any TRS chain due to the fact we feel like we have been ripped off and harassed. We was expecting luxury and didn’t scrimp on what we paid for a 5* experience but feel we didn’t get that.

My best vacation ever, I had a wonderful time, we are very grateful and will return ....The beach was very nice and the pool was very nice too, we liked the attention.................................................................

The service was below average. When we asked for room service, water for the fridge in our room, etc, we had to ask more than once. Told multiple people about our food allergies when we were asked (butler, waiters, etc.) just to be given food that contained our allergens in it. Front desk just asks you to fill out a complaint form if you complain about something. Most of the staff we tried to talk to were too into their phones to give you the time of day. The food was below average. This place claims they are an all inclusive but you’ll end up having to pay extra for many things. We had to change our transportation and they told us we just needed to call a taxi instead.

The pools were great as were the drinks! Don’t miss the show at Chic…it’s worth the extra $55 pp! These entertainers work hard to put on an amazing show! I would definitely come back here again - all inclusive, adults only, sun, fun and relaxation!

Our butler Jean was the highlight. Pretty much everything else went horrible. They never refunded me for the massages we never received!!! The manager promised he would refund us and never did. No way would I come back here. Additionally, the food was overrated. Service was below average. Even the golf cart drivers always acted too busy to take us around the resort. Make sure you look at other options and don’t get caught up in photos or marketing.

We had an absolutely amazing vacation at TRS Turquesa. We stayed in building 50 which was close to the pool and the beach. It was so beautiful and peacefulin that area of the resort and close to all of the amenities. Our butlers Eskarla, Elaine and her team were absolutely fantastic and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. We would highly recommend this resort and will definitely be back. We are vegan and were a little worried about our food options during our stay but we managed to figure it all out. We found the buffets were easier for us because there were so many options to chose from. Love this resort!

I would rate this resort as upper mid-range. The workers here are top notch…friendly, professional, eager to please. We stayed in Bldg 59, 3-4 minute walk to main hotel lobby, 5 min walk from room to main pool/private beach. Heads-up for once you’ve checked in/been assigned a room you’ll be introduced to someone who will tell you he’ll be arranging a tour of the resort “to show you our beautiful resort” plus a free gift! A 60 min massage or two 30 min massages. BEWARE that unless you’re interested in buying a timeshare within the Palladium Group…AND…spending about three hours of your vacation you’ll need to be firm with the rep & let him know you aren’t interested…he is very persistent/borderline intimidating! That would be my biggest gripe. He hit us up upon check-in and we told him we were tired and just wanted to unwind (because we had already been given the tip). He then hit us up upon coming through the lobby heading to Helios for breakfast; again heading back through the lobby in the afternoon and again the next morning. I finally had to say…we aren’t interested and just want to hang out! The biggest negative issue we had was part of the room offer is you are provided a bottle of alcohol for your room. Prior to leaving home we replied to an email from “the Butler” which is a “wishlist” they send asking: type of pillows you prefer, which alcohol and any special requests. We requested gin, plenty of bottled water & coffee creamer (as we drink coffee throughout our vacation) if possible for the refrigerator. Upon arriving, none of the items were in the room and our frig didn’t work. We alerted the butler & and headed off to the pool, then dinner. Upon returning, frig hadn’t been touched & none of the items. The butler popped by to introduce himself (Manuel E.) and in the process said he’d get us the items as well as get the frig looked at. The next day upon returning from breakfast, no gin, no cream, no extra water and the frig remained broke. We alerted the butler again and responded to a survey we were emailed, giving the experience a 2. Upon returning from the pool late, the frig was fixed but still no cream, water or alcohol. We spoke to another butler working (Manuel was off) and by now, were irritated. He said he would work on it. Upon returning from dinner around 8p, still no items. Now, we were downright pissed. It seemed they didn’t want to fulfill THEIR offer of the alcohol, and now it’s become the principal! The front desk called to ask about the low survey so we explained our issue. They said “we’ll work on it”! Finally, someone came to the door with the promised gin as well as extra water and creamers. They don’t provide anything but powdered coffee-mate so any hoped for refrigerated cream or half and half was not going to happen. They provide a Nespresso machine as well as a 2-cup Mr coffee maker. Bring your own coffee and filters though. The beach is private/gorgeous, off the main pool and one of the restaurants (Helios)—many adequate loungers palm covered sun shading thingies (not sure what you’d call them…canopies maybe?). People begin “reserving” loungers by 7-8a so by 10a all shaded areas (also around the pool) of beach are taken as well as 80% of the loungers in the sun. There are signs that reserving is not permitted but not enforced. You’re fine with placing your towel on a char to “call yours”… Main pool is nice…4’7” deep; similar to a lazy pool…deep enough to get your shoulders below water to cool off; also a swim-up bar so be sure to have your buck for the bartender. Plenty of opportunities to order drinks from your chair as servers roam the beach and pool—also tipped them $1 per drink ordered. Food is average to not bad. Our worst was at El Dorado. I’ve had better at Bonanza, room temp food. La Bohemè’s Chateubriand was very good (tender filet Mignogn) as well as the fondue. Sunday lunch at Helios—king crab legs, shrimp, mussels and clams. Men/decent shorts & shirt was fine in restaurants. Bermudas or long pants not enforced. Staff super nice! Secret pool has little shade.

TRS Turquesa is great holiday resort. We flew to Punta Cana on Friday 22 march with TUI, and sadly they had a 2hour delay which did make our day longer than we had hoped and not arriving at our resort until gone 7 in the evening. Being part of the Palladium Travel Club we had our own transport from the airport to the hotel, which is nice along with our our own check in area. Our room was on the third floor on the poolside with an ocean view, which was wonderful to wake up to. The room itself is a little bit tired and could do with some updating but we primarily slept in it so nothing too much to worry about. There were butlers for each block but sadly we never got to see our butler until the day we left - not a good thing that as they should be checking on you to see if there was anything they could do for you. The food at TRS Turquesa is excellent, being part of TRS allows you to go to 4 Adult only restaurants plus access to all the others on the Grand Palladium site - about another 10, but we did find the food in those not so good as those in the TRS section. The beach and pool were a stones throw from our balcony with plenty of sun beds and more importantly no need to get up at the crack of dawn to get a bed - still free beds by the pool and beach at 10 o'clock. Sea was beautiful and clear and no sea weed during the week we were there. We checked out on Friday 29th March just as the Easter crowd wee arriving and things getting a lot busier. A big shout out for the waiters/waitresses (too many names to remember), but a special shout out to one young lady at the front desk was Suleica, she remembered us from last year as I have a chocolate allergy, she always had a smile on her face and happy to talk to us.

Industry junk-food on a plate

Recently stayed at the TRS Turquesa and we had an amazing time from the moment we walked into the lobby. We were allocated a room in block 56 where we were greeted with a great big smile and amazing welcome by our butler, Francisco. The butler team at block 56, Francisco, Oscar, Julio and Cesareo were first class and couldn’t do enough for us, they really are credit to this hotel. We were shown to our room which was as good as we could’ve hoped for and brilliantly maintained by the cleaning team. The pool areas, beach, restaurants and bars were excellent, but the biggest compliment I can give the hotel is the unbelievable staff, every single one of them, barman, waiters/waitresses, cleaners, gardeners, reception. They all made our holiday amazing. Thank you all and hopefully see you all soon.
