Breathless Punta Cana Resort & Spa

Breathless Punta Cana is a great all-inclusive resort! The entertainment daily was top notch in comparison to other resorts we have visited. The service at the pool, restaurants, bars, and casino was amazing. We also loved the food at each restaurant. The entertainment team worked hard and put on amazing shows as well as pool classes, etc.! I would highly recommend this resort!

Met Juan C and Berny at the outside bar the first night we were there and were so much fun. They remembered us the next night so we kept sitting there every night while we watched the shows. Angelo made sure to keep us all in line 😂🤣 We met Manuel the last night and he was so fun and happy and dancing. Benito in Sofrito and I forget his name but it began with an A (they worked together 7/6) were the best duo ever. A's energy and laughs made our night and for sure our jokes will give him stories to tell. Felix was our life saver keeping us hydrated by the pool. Met Carlos when he asked us to dance before the shows. He was patient and kind while teaching me. He remembered us by the pool the next day. Then showed us how to do more dances before the next show. His constant smile, energy, and overall vibe brought us to the dance floor everynight to dance like we were 21 again 🤩 20/10 would recommend all of them!

This was our 6th time to the DR so we’ve stayed at several different resorts and this one is definitely going to be on the repeat list! Food was the best we’ve had at a resort yet in regard to the specialty restaurants. Buffet wasn’t bad either for a resort buffet. Entertainment was the best we’ve ever experienced. Service was also some of the best especially when it came to speed! At previous resorts I found things like room service can take way longer than they say but at Breathless it was always on time or earlier. The people are what always make or break a resort for me and Brethless has hired a PHENOMENAL team. Willy, our concierge was the kindest person who takes his job very seriously. Anything we needed including last minute reservations were quickly accommodated. He even continued to check-in on his days off, despite my protests to this lol He will truly elevate your stay there! We also would like to give our love to Alberto and Yohan at the swim-up bar. They also are amazing at their job and were constantly making me laugh. They have great memory and attention to detail as well. Also a shoutout to “Spaghetti” with entertainment. My husband badly misses playing beach volleyball with him. He was such a kind and fun person to engage with as well!

If you're staying here, do yourself a favor and ask for Kelly. As someone who struggles with anxiety, I came to this resort for one reason: to relax. Kelly made that possible from the very first day. She made me feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. Her kindness, professionalism, and attention to every little detail made all the difference. She anticipated my needs before I even had to ask and made sure my stay was peaceful and stress-free. Because of Kelly, I was truly able to disconnect and enjoy every moment. She is an absolute gem and the definition of exceptional hospitality. I would recommend her over and over again without hesitation. Kelly deserves more than 10/10 she made this experience unforgettable. Thank you so much, Kelly! ❤️

Overall, our 5-day stay at Breathless Punta Cana Resort for my daughter's bachelorette celebration was wonderful. The food was consistently delicious, the staff was friendly, courteous, and attentive, and the entertainment kept our group partying throughout the trip. A special thank you to Alexander, our concierge, who was incredibly sweet, professional, patient, and helpful while managing our group of 11. When I arrived at the resort and got to my room, it was decorated with balloons, a cake, champagne, and strawberries. Unfortunately, these decorations had actually been purchased for my daughter's room, but her room had no decorations at all. After we brought the mistake to Alexander's attention, he handled it promptly by having the cake, champagne, and strawberries moved to my daughter's room. While I appreciated his efforts to correct the situation, I was a bit uncomfortable that the food and beverages were simply transferred from one occupied room to another. It would have been preferable to provide fresh replacements. This mix-up also contributed to my concern with the billing. I was initially charged $100 for the room decorations and $200 for a VIP section at a party. The decorations were intended for my daughter's room and had already been paid for by another member of our group, while the party was ultimately canceled (for 4th of July events). Based on those circumstances, I expected a full $300 refund. However, when I questioned the charges at checkout, I was told the decoration charge had increased to $200, which I had split with someone else. As a result, I only received a $200 refund instead of the full amount I believe I was owed. Unfortunately, I was rushing to catch the airport shuttle and didn't have enough time to fully resolve the discrepancy before leaving. Despite this billing issue, our overall experience was excellent. The resort offered great food, enjoyable entertainment, good service, and a staff that genuinely cared about making our stay memorable. With a clearer billing process and better handling of special occasion amenities, the experience would have been nearly perfect.

Beautiful, relaxing and fun. It was a mental reset for me. I first have to give beyond five stars to my butler Jesus!!! He was very attentive to all my questions and needs. I felt like I had a family member guiding me through out the entire vacation. I attended with 183 ladies from all over the United states. It was our girlz weeknd. We were nothing but women revitalizing our strength while celebrating being a woman. I needed a mental reset after loosing my oldest son. Jesus..., thank you!!!💜💜💜💜💜. You don't know how much your service helped me in my healing journey! Yeni, was one of the employees I met. She was so kind with a beautiful spirit. She spoke with soft kind words. The entire resort was beautiful. The entire staff showed what the definition of service means. Breathless Resort and Spa Punta Cana, Dominican Republic is "Magnifico", having the best time all week. This resort is adult only and very lively with activities daily sun up to sun down. If into fitness and wellness they have yoga on the beach and differing poolside activities daily at the pool, such as water aerobics, aqua bike, SUP paddle board as well as pool volleyball. The entertainment team is top notch having had a fun time with Amira, Hottie, Rodrigo, Ester and King along with others but didn't catch everyone's names. The evening shows are varied and different such as a Retro show, Queen Show, Dominican Republic night to name a few. Nightly bands, nightclub upstairs and special events at the FreeStyle pool. We enjoyed a standard king-room near the FreeStyle pool which has an infinity overlook and pool bar. The rooms are all breezeway halls having a breeze and you can feel air conditioning too. Come evening you will find incense placed around the property which was a lovely aesthetic. There are stair cases as well as an elevator to reach 2nd and 3rd floor rooms if needed. Restaurants are plenty and longest wait any night was 20 minutes or not at all. All offer delicious meals and the buffet offerings are varied nightly with different themes for everyone palate. Our favorites were Silk City (Asian) and Culinaria (Continental Mediterranean). The tall 7 layer cakes are found in the buffet, delicious. Met three fun bar tenders, Angel, Juan C. and Affermann. Angel is a master of martini making. You can find them in the evenings at the bar stall next to the events/show stage. There is also a beach hut hosting a SeaPro company for water sport activities along with a bar and cafe beachside. Plenty of chairs with palm tree shade as well a thatched palm umbrellas. The location is quiet with great beach walking access. Crews grade the sand on the beach daily. The resort grounds are also cleaned daily. This is a really nice resort for adults who want to have a good time for entertainment. The Nightlife and the pool parties are really really good you will not be bored. The buffet needs to be better we ate at Dreams Onyx which has more variety. They have absolutely no vegan options which is very disappointing after paying for All Inclusive Meals. I suggest bringing your own beach towel due to they have one Towel Hut which is way in the back that sits behind the main pool and it opens up at 8:30 a.m. so reserve your chair early for the 3:30 p.m. pool parties. The Saturday pool party is fantastic. The Saturday Night White Party is ALL THAT. The Staff is friendly and helpful.
