Well where does one start? Our stay at this hotel was a superb experience from arrival to departure. Booking in was really straightforward (aided by a very welcome cool drink) and our luggage was whisked away to our room without any fuss. Rather than a large key fob or access card guests receive a 'smart' wrist band which gets to you access into your room and around the complex.....really good idea and nothing to lose or to fail. Our suite was fabulous with a very comfortable bed, large bath and wet room, ample towels, complimentary toiletries and a fully stocked (and daily re-stocked) mini-bar. Certainly the best suite we've ever stayed in. Massive shout out to Elizabeth for keeping it so clean and for meeting our every in-room requirements. Also a massive "thanks" to Manuel, Cindy and Margues, our butlers for the week, who, again, were so friendly, knowledgeable and nothing was too much much trouble throughout our stay. The dining facilities were excellent, although we mainly used to buffet, and the daily choices would meet any culinary needs. Well done to the Catering team as we return home somewhat heavier than when we arrived. The pool facilities were great (yes there's the inevitable early morning rush to bag a lounger) and a special "thanks" to Delores who looked after us each and every day and I can still see her wonderful smile as I write this review.........Delores you're a star and a credit to the TRS. Finally a mention about the gym which was one of the best I've used and certainly helped to burn off the calories and alcohol. Can't recommend this hotel complex highly enough.

Just back from our eight night stay at the TRS Turquesa on Bavaro Beach in Punta Cana.  We had been there last year as well.  Overall, we had a very nice stay.  The grounds are immaculate here, and at the other three resorts, of which this is the adults only section.  Just beautiful surroundings which we took full advantage of every day, beginning with about a 2.5 mile walk through them all, starting by Helios and walking the beach road to the end then all the way back up and past the Convention Center back to TRS.  The trees and plants are gorgeous.  And, we usually took a 2 to 3 mile walk on the beach most afternoons before the sunset. Besides that, and a nice beach and warm ocean, what really made TRS stand out was the staff who work at this resort.  I can call out a few, Ray our butler, Manuel at the main bar, and Starlin at Helios, along with almost all of their peers seemed to genuinely care very much about our experience and happiness.  Very special, and hard working people!  So, we've spent 16 nights here over the past 13 months and unlike some others, not one tiny bit of stomach upset or issues from food or drink.  Maybe the folks who've had it were drinking the tap water?  We only drank the bottled water.  And some Pardon Blanco and Cointreau margaritas and Grey Goose Cosmo's, and the Cabernet and Chardonnay.  For places having to serve large numbers of guests for every meal, the food here was very good overall.  We did wish at lunch at Helios they would put out some Tomato or Spinach Wraps that we could use to make a wrap.  They did serve some at the coffee bar next door at the Grand Palladium, but they were mushy and moist.  We ate at Helios twice for dinner and the food, steak and the Pesto Chicken pasta dish, was well seasoned and tasty.  The T-Bone, however, being about 1/3 of an inch thick could not be cooked anything but medium well.  I asked for rare twice but just no way anyone could.  Still, many bits were tender enough for me to enjoy.  They really should cut down on the overall size of the steak and get a thicker cut that can be cooked to way people like it.  We really enjoyed Kusko, Bamboo, La Boheme and Sumptori.  Actually, on US National Margarita Day, February 22nd, we both enjoyed the Mexican place as well, more so than last year.  The pork tacos and quesadillas were good. Even the food at CHIC was good, aside from the raw salmon that we aren't into. But we did love the sushi at other places! So, speaking of CHIC, that, and the White Party Sunday night at TRS were the best. It would be cool if one of the four resorts had a good live band every night. (Like the Akumal Bay Beach & Wellness Resort does. So fun!) Given our routine, we usually draped a couple towels over two remaining chairs, often back row, before walking around 10:15am. Then after lunch came back and grabbed them and moved to something we liked better. Pretty much no problem all week. And, did I mention how warm the water was? We had a great time. However, there was a hiccup. And I think, if other guests have encountered it also, it should be mentioned so potential future guests can make up their own minds. Now, I do not know if this was specific to our room, 5037, or our floor or building, of if it was happening resort-wide. And I must shout out Valentine and Cindy at the front desk for working through this to our satisfaction. For at least three days in the morning, after flushing the toilet once, the toilet would not gain enough water to be flushed a second time (with two adults sharing the room) for nearly half an hour. This created a miserable situation (when the 2nd of us had to go, it couldn't be flushed) within the enclosed toilet area. This did not ruin our stay but was enough of an inconvenience, and counter to what we expect from the Palladium Group and TRS for this money, to complain about it. So if anyone else has encountered this I think it's only fair to note in a real review. All in all, we had a great 8 nights and enjoyed our time at the TRS very much. It is a beautiful resort with gorgeous grounds. Room was nice, AC worked good enough, beds and pillows were comfortable. Lobby bar, especially, was top notch. We would go back, but probably not for a while as there are too many other places we want to check out, like Las Terranas, Culebra and Vieques, Grenada and Costa Rica, as we search for places we may want to stay at for a month at a time during retirement.

We had excellent service from our butler Jean and the room was very comfortable. Excellent I would definitely recommend. Thank you. Beach & weather was fabulous! Food was very good! Customer service and the hotel employees were very helpful during our stay

Ray is incredible in his attention to us, in all his assistance, he has helped us a lot, he is really a great help, we recommend the butler when coming, we recommend Ray, we stayed in villa 55 and it is very quiet, very beautiful, very peaceful..

First time here we had a great experience our Butlers was excellent and very accommodating thanks to my bitlers krisleidy and jose they made our vacation so special we love all the bars and the restaurants chic for sure was the best one we will bask
