The hotel was first class for facilities, food and comfort. The only things that spoilt it for us was the noise from the pool in the afternoons. We had a swim up room that was excellent but did lose the sun mid afternoon and suffer from the pool noise. A really nice touch was the special service we received from our two allotted Butlers, Angel & Edwar. They set us up in a WhatsApp group so we could contact them 24x7, if we needed to. No request was too much bother and they set up our dining schedule to give us a great variety of food and experiences. They went above and beyond with their attentive service. Getting a sun-bed by the main pool was a feature, as the Americans and Canadians are worse than the Germans of 20-30 years ago at getting up early to stake their claim with a towel!!

Great experience. Biggest resort i have been to. I had two butlers, Angel and Edwar. They were the go to for anything you needed. They were in contact with me everyday and provided me with assistance as much as I needed. I would suggest having more vegetarian options. Awesome experience....

My husband and I had the best time celebrating our anniversary at this resort. We stayed in the junior suite, Oceanview. Star class side. We had a day butler Susi and a night one Molly. Both of these ladies made sure that our trip was a very successful and memorable one. They went above and beyond .The food was amazing wherever we went. The activities were endless day and night at all locations of the resort. The service was excellent. Staff was extremely helpful and super friendly. The cleaning service was impeccable and the beds were comfortable. We would 100% recommend coming to this place, and we will return again. The only complaint would be Sunwing and the Cancun airport. Lack of communication and not enough staff.

Had a terrific time during our all-inclusive 3 night stay. We stayed on the adult side of the resort and the rooms were really clean and the villas we stayed in had a great swim-out pool and nice cabana which was excellent and provided privacy.

We read a few negative reviews before we went and were concerned we’d made a mistake booking this Hotel . The staff work really hard to make sure that you have a great experience and I couldn’t fault the service we received . Many thanks to Itai from guest services and all of the hard working stafff who really went above and beyond to make sure we had memorable holiday

I visited this location for my birthday. Overall it was a decent experience with the food options, ambiance, and service; however, I am very particular about rooms. It had a slight stench to it but I was able to move pass it because this was gifted to me. But then...

I visited this location for my birthday. Overall it was a decent experience with the food options, ambiance, and service; however, I am very particular about rooms. It had a slight stench to it but I was able to move pass it because this was gifted to me. But then the hot water in my room didn't work. I contacted the front desk, they said someone would be up to fix it, an hour later, I called back and someone hung up on me because I called the emergency line so I went downstairs to the front desk to get the issue resolved and they said they already have the request and someone was coming. In total about two hours later, someone came up and fixed the issue and the hot water worked. Then later that night the maintenance guy knocked and stated that the room downstair was flooded and he need to see the shower for a minute. So me not wanting to be that person that doesn't help my fellow vacationer, I allowed them in. Well, we were in the bed at this point. What was supposed to be a few minutes turned into just short of an hour which was so inconvenient as the LOML and I was trying to enjoy each others company and the vacation overall.

We stayed here February 26-March 3 in a star class swim out suite in the Adult Scene. We had a corner room with a view of the ocean and it was perfect for us. We were also steps from the Adult Scene pool, which was nice. Overall, the food was good. Our least favorite was the Brazilian restaurant and our favorites were the steakhouse, the Indian restaurant and the seafood restaurant. Also, the sports bar had the best burgers and fries. Pools were great and the star class pool was heated, which was nice. The adults only pool was a little chilly but once you got in, it was fine. The chair game is real here and very annoying. If you weren’t up by 6:30-7:00, chairs were non-existent. I don’t mind people reserving chairs but when the don’t show up u til mid afternoon, that’s frustrating. Our butlers, Edwar and Angel were great. They checked in a the beginning of every shift to see if we needed anything and accommodated every request we had. I woke up one morning with a bad sore throat and Edwar ran to the gift shop and sent me pictures and prices of the medicines they had that would help. They made our stay so much better. The beach was great. Pure, white sand and no rocks and very little seaweed in the ocean. We had a great time!

This was our 5th visit here, so, obviously we love it. We got in late in the day and check in was a breeze. Reception name tag said Trainee but he seemed knowledgeable, He told us the resort was at capacity & couldn't move us to a higher floor. Our room was in building 13, which probably had the worst view, but was close to The Scene bar. The room was in good repair and it looked like there was constant upkeep with maintenance carts & painting visible around the resort. All concerns, shampoo, pillows, dehumidifier were quickly taken care of. When using the app to make requests there was often a phone call within minutes to clarify. Food was all good. On the adult side Braza and Catch were both open for breakfast (same menu) to accommodate, and were well staffed. Mario, Hernan, Jesus & Manuel were all exceptional. The breakfast selection at Braza had lots to choose from with pastry, fruit, meat & cheese and a taco station, eggs, bacon, pancakes waffles and more. Lunch at Gusto or Catch was great, as was Guys Burgers. Blanca at the pool and at the adult scene bar was exceptional. She was quick and super helpful. Danial was also super helpful with umbrellas and towels. Tips - Put your pool towels in the provided bins when you are no longer going to use a lounger to free up seats.

This is a great resort. Fantastic food and facilities. More suitable evening entertainment would be appreciated on the adult side. Also the issue of sunbed reserving needs to be addressed. Particularly enjoyed Braza grill for breakfast and evenings. Manuel deserves a mention for his charming service :)

I felt extremely uncomfortable. Stay far away from. So paid an extra 2k and then missed my flight for another 4600 lost . Stay far away they only care about up charging you. Nickel and dime you for everything . No reservations. Star class is a scam. If you want a reservation go at 5 pm and bribe the hostess with 20$ you will get anything you want. Absolute garbage show. Good luck. If you planned a trip get your money back

Our stay at Planet Hollywood Cancun was mostly enjoyable, but there were a couple of frustrating issues that made it less than perfect. One of the biggest disappointments was the struggle to find a lounge chair by the pool or on the beach. By as early as 7:30 AM, nearly every chair was already “reserved” with a water bottle, towel, or some other random object yet no actual people were using them. It was incredibly frustrating to see so many empty chairs blocked off for hours while other guests searched for a place to sit. The resort really needs a better system to prevent this kind of chair hoarding or add sufficient quantity to accommodate all guests. In our second day at the resort, we were able to get a lounge chair at 5pm. Aside from that, the resort was satisfactory. The rooms were comfortable, but we did experience high humidity in ours, which made it a bit uncomfortable. When we requested to be relocated to a different room, the process was difficult and took longer than expected. Services and staff members are excellent, Very clean resort. Overall, Planet Hollywood Cancun has a lot of good qualities, but the lounge chair issue and room humidity problems made our stay less relaxing than it could have been. If they can improve these aspects, it would be a much better experience.

I must begin this review with a very warm Thank You to the amazing ARACELY who generously upgraded us to Star Class and all of the services that come with it. The Star Class team is in a league of their own and are always very attentive and more than available to offer any assistance. ITAI was always available and ready to help, from helping me out with dinner reservation modifications to kindly reaching out to us via WhatsApp making sure we got home safe.... That is by far the best customer service i have ever seen. Thank You ITAI, you are the best!!!! This is our second stay in the last three years. Obviously, it goes without saying that if we decided to return, there are plenty of reasons why. We opted for a swim out room and we were very happy with our decision. Its very nice to end a fun filled day relaxing on the amazing Balinese style bed and being able to take a dip. Also quite cool at night. The resort is amazing and has tons of activities. It is huge but so well thought out that its easy access to everything onsite. We never had any issues making dinner reservations thanks to the App that is very user friendly. All restaurants are very good but my faves would have to be the Italian and the Steakhouse. We were very pleased with everyone paying extra attention and being very careful with my husbands seafood allergy. They always make sure to ask. We were also very pleased to meet the head of F&B,also a sommelier....EDGAR. What a gem of a man.He would always go out of his way to come see and talk to us when he could to make sure we were okay and that we were taken care of, AMAZING! Our mornings always started with an "a la carte" breakfast at Braza on the Adult side with the legend himself; HERNAN! Every single french Canadian would sit in his section because he speaks perfect " Quebecois ". Not to mention that he is impeccable at his craft. The rooms are perfection, very clean but can smell a little humid.A simple easy fix is to request a dehumidifier via the App which was a seamless experience in our case. Housekeeping came every day and our fridge was restocked all the time. The activities on site are endless for any age group. Wave runner, lazy river, tons of sports, pool activities, beach volleyball and an amazing gym. The beach was a dream, very well maintained without seaweed ( they clean it regularly ). We always managed to find loungers and umbrellas without getting up at 7 AM. The service at the beach was also impeccable. So... I must dive in to the only two points that aggravated my husband and it but would not stop us from going back. Lounger availability or lack there of around the pool.... Ridiculous nonsense. We only managed to spend one day at the pool since we were unable to access loungers. It is a mix of selfish folks hogging 4 when they are only 2, towels being set down and nobody ever showing up and lack of any type of system to manage such a situation. I have seen this on numerous resorts but it remains annoying. The other area in which there is room for improvement would be the entertainment at night.... The shows at the main Lobby are not great and there really is nothing to do but sit around. many people seemed to be aware of this because we saw a lot of games and cards being played. There is a disco but it remains empty until pretty late. So there you have it. Their dedication extended far beyond the typical duties associated with a personal agent. From the moment I arrived, they were on top of everything. They figured out what we liked (and even what my travel buddies needed!) before we even had to ask. They handled all the little things – making sure our room was perfect, setting up dinners and excursions, even anticipating our needs before we did. It was seriously seamless and so incredibly helpful. I remember one time I mentioned something I needed, and Yomelly just *snapped* into action and completely blew me away with how quickly and thoughtfully he handled it. It was that extra touch that made the whole vacation unforgettable. It wasn't just efficient; it felt genuinely luxurious and personal. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Planet Hollywood Cancun Adulting Scene. We wanted a place where we can do whatever we want and this resort and staff made it happen. Our butlers, Yomelly and Jerry, were absolutely phenomenal. All reservations and anything we needed was handled quickly and with impeccable service. Our favorite bar staff was at the Star Class pool, where we were served by The Punisher, El Chapo, and El Pajaro Loco. Of course, these are their nicknames, but it’s what I remembered. They made the trip very memorable and I’m very glad to have met the people we did. Truly grateful for a wonderful experience! Our room was amazing and clean at every moment. No details were missed. Our butlers set up an anniversary celebration in our room as a surprise and it was greatly appreciated. The grounds are impeccable and clean. We enjoyed every pool area that was adult friendly, loved Adult Scene pool, Star Class pool, and the lazy river. We also had the opportunity to join in a foam party at the pool, and a silent disco. All of the food I had was nothing short of amazing. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

Planet Hollywood Cancun Adult Section Review - March 8, 2025 In early March, my wife and I were looking forward to a much-needed getaway and after some careful consideration, we decided to proceed with our vacation to Planet Hollywood Cancun despite some ongoing concerns about travel. We’re so glad we made the choice to go – it was absolutely worth it. Resort Beauty From the moment we arrived at the resort, we were captivated by its beauty. The lush surroundings, modern architecture, and pristine grounds instantly made us feel we had made the right decision. Upon check-in, we were greeted warmly and given our room keys right away. The room itself was spacious, clean, and had a stunning view of the ocean. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the decor gave us an immediate feeling of relaxation and luxury. The bathroom had a large shower and dual sinks, making it perfect for a couple to get ready in the morning. Food Food was a huge concern for us going in, but let me tell you – every meal was an absolute delight. We couldn’t have asked for better. The resort offers four à la carte restaurants: Italian, French, Steakhouse, and Japanese. Each one had its own unique flavor, and while reservations were hard to get, a little extra effort ensured we didn’t miss out. Italian was a standout for us (though service was slow), but the Steakhouse and Japanese spots also impressed. The buffet had a nice variety, with the jerk chicken being a personal favorite. Pools + Ocean The pools at the resort were fantastic, each with different temperatures, which kept things refreshing. They were incredibly clean, and we enjoyed lounging by them while the kids had a blast with the poolside activities. We had no trouble getting drinks from the bar, which was a nice touch. As for the ocean, it was absolutely stunning. The snorkeling was some of the best I’ve experienced, with vibrant coral reefs and plenty of sea life to admire, including an octopus! The beach was rocky, but once you’re past the shallow waters, the snorkeling is unparalleled. Kids Though this trip was for adults, we couldn’t help but notice how well the resort caters to families. The kids’ section with water slides and the nearby entertainment area was well-designed. Additionally, the little shops around the area offered local goods at a fraction of the price you’d find in the markets. There was no pressure to buy, which we appreciated. First World Problems There were a couple of minor hiccups during our stay: The maid left our door unlocked, and while the hotel management responded promptly, it didn’t feel like they took the incident as seriously as they should have. Housekeeping was efficient but not always proactive. We had to ask for things like fresh towels or blankets, and while we tipped well, the service could’ve gone the extra mile. There’s also the infamous “island time,” meaning things tend to happen slowly, but honestly, it added to the relaxed vibe. Value The price was very reasonable for what we got, and I’d consider this closer to a 5-star experience, but it’s more like a solid 4.5 in my book. Great for couples looking for a luxurious experience without the 5-star price tag. Summary Room: Spacious, clean, comfortable – 5/5 Food: Best I’ve had on vacation, especially the Steakhouse and Japanese – 5/5 Service: Friendly staff, though sometimes slow – 4/5 Pools: Fun and refreshing, though a bit dirty at times – 4/5 Beach: Beautiful but chaotic with chair reservations – 3/5 Grounds: Amazing with daily activities, lazy river, and water park – 5/5 Entertainment: A few shows were great, but others were underwhelming, like the burlesque show, which felt out of place – 3/5 Overall Rating: 4.7/5 We had an unforgettable time at Planet Hollywood Cancun. He brought us all our drinks while we relaxed on the beach & helped with anything we requested. I liked that they have staff at the beach and pool area that will take your order for food & drinks while you get to relax. The food was fantastic..The seafood restaurant "catch" was amazing. The Indian restaurant & the Mexican restaurants were average. The buffet was good. The burger place is really good, especially the bacon burger! Very good drink selection. The blended mango margarita with Tajin is a must try. The Paloma is also good with a salt rim. Concierge service was phenomenal especially Marla. She & her colleagues booked an à la carte restaurant for us every night. They also created a WhatsApp group chat and anytime we need anything, we could message them and they would assist us. They said we were VIP because we booked through Expedia ? We had no idea. We actually booked through our RBC Avion. The beach was absolutely beautiful. The pools were nice as well. They would benefit from having more lounge chairs. There was plenty of space to have more and a lot of people looking for places to sit. They say that they don't condone people holding their chairs, but there were several chairs with towels clipped on every day. We spent a few hours at the pool/beach and no one arrived to utilize those spots. It would be nice if the staff paid more attention to that. Adults can't go down the waterslides 😂. Water was leaking from the ceiling in the bathroom across from the main buffet, and also in my room, we notified staff, and it was fixed promptly. The premier bar's coffee machine was not working for our entire stay. I was hoping to try out an espresso martini, but didn't get to. Overall I would 100% recommend this resort. Probably one of the nicest ones I've been to, the staff make the experience exceptional. Felt as though we had a butler even though we did not pay extra for one. I would not recommend upgrading to the star class. Didn’t seem worth it based on the service we got. The star class pool also looked smaller and lame. We spoke to a few people who had star class and they also felt the same. The star class restaurant was not available to us, but when we were at our adult pool, the staff that were serving us drinks, were also getting us food from that restaurant…so in reality you still have access. I will say don't get sucked into the presentation. My spouse and I went because they offered us a free spa day but because we didn't want to buy into the resorts chain, the the manager, for the presentations was quite rude to us. She said we wasted their time, and the lady who presented to us, could not afford to feed her family because of us?! It kinda killed the vibe, but after a couple lemon drops, we were happy again. The Burlesque show was nice, decent entertainment. If you order room service you have to be in the room or they won’t drop it off. I found that a little odd considering they would go in our room and leave water bottles and other items. The lazy river was a blast! Definitely always something to do and you won’t get bored. The gym was very nice and the pickle ball/tennis court/ basketball courts were fun. You do have to book those in advance, which we didn’t realize at first. They have an app that’s very user-friendly and you can book a lot through the app.

We just got back from staying for 4 nights adult scene star class. Great experience! Our butlers Angel and Edwar went above and beyond making our stay a fabulous experience! The food was good. Always seemed like there was some form of entertainment. The spa was amazing!

We enjoyed nearly everything about this resort, food and room service was excellent. Be warned however: If you are not out around 6:00am to claim a pool chair, you won't be finding one available after you finish breakfast. There are not enough pool chairs for everyone at the resort, and because staff do not enforce the "no pool chair reservation" policy, you have to wake up bright and early to try and claim a chair. There are a number of empty seats everywhere such as in my photo, but they are all "claimed" with towels and books. Also, we were not allowed to open our sun umbrella when we did finally manage to find a chair the entire week we were there. It was a little windy but not dramatically (20km/h), and nobody was allowed to open their umbrellas for all the days we were here.

Had an excellent time at the Braza grill steakhouse, a spotlight on the adult side. Everything is truly wonderful. Carlos Ventura is amazing, he gets whatever you’d like to try from various types of steaks, chicken, lamb, pineapple to any drinks.

The problem with this resort is that profit is totally placed before customer service. There are some real issues with this resort: Real lack of shade around pools and on the beach. Lack of umbrellas, many are broken. This is easily fixed if the resort would spend money to purchase many more umbrellas and or palapas. Booking restaurants is a joke, the app is glitchy and you cannot get reservations without trying 30 times a day. Cannot get reservations and then walk into the restaurant to see it 75% empty. Lack of staff is the issue, Hire more staff! Loungers is insane here, the worst of any resort I have ever been to. You will need to be up by 6:30 or you will not get a chair. Easily fixed by more chairs when you over sell the resort. There is plenty of room to accommodate more chairs by the pool and on the beach. I watched Star class butlers take loungers away from the Adult pool to the Star class section. Nothing is enforced, people smoking in the pool, wearing bathing suits into sit down restaurants. The entertainment team promoted spring break behavior, encouraging excessive drinking, lewd behavior during contests. Talked about 69 being his favourite. Fun is great but this is supposed to be a five star, Marriott Autograph Resort. You will line up at the cafe all day everyday. There are even long lineups to get into the buffet. All due to lack of staff, no reason for it except to maximize profit!

But the name Luisa and Wicho they are very nice and friendly to us.They are the one to tell us everything what ever when we need to ask.
