Great resort. Highlight of my trip was Fresco Ceviche. This place is amazing. Guadalupe and Jesus are the nicest people. They have the best service and make this the best place in the whole hotel. Everyone needs to check this out. Amazing ceviche ! Thanks again to Jesus and Guadalupe!

We have visited the Cancun area hotels at minimum a dozen times, so I feel that I speak from experience. We wanted to give the Hyatt Vivid the benefit of the doubt after reading negative reviews but I have to agree with most of them. We were upgraded to a Vantage Club corner room on the 11th floor and the view was wonderful! However, that room did have a few setbacks. There is only one lamp and two reading lamps in the room and all are by the bed. At night with the curtains shut, it is very difficult to see anything away from the immediate bed area. The sensor lights leading to the bathroom are great if there is only one person in the room, but they easily wake up the other person. The ceilings were unfinished and there were splashes of paint on the balcony. We spent each day at the rooftop pool. We stayed away from the main pools because not only was it obnoxiously loud, but the chairs were so tightly packed together, you couldn’t move them to either stay in the sun of find shade. The terrace pool water was fine after the initial cold shock. Unfortunately for a hotel,that is less than a year old, the pool had several areas of cracked plaster and some mustard algae along the sides. The negative there was that the noise from the main pool drifted upward and made it difficult to listen to your own music even with noise canceling air buds. All of the chairs are facing the lagoon with a spectacular view, but again, they are so close together you have to be careful to avoid the stranger next to you. The techno music in the afternoon was also a distraction, and I suggest that management consider something else like today’s pop hits or salsa. We spent our evening cocktail hour in the Vantage Club. It had a very nice vibe and top shelf drinks. I recommend the Aperol Spritz’s. I usually enjoy a vodka tonic, but the canned tonic that is used ruined the flavor. The Club also has tasty appetizers and I noticed several people making a meal out of them. Our a la cart meals were quite good. We ate at Le Lys twice and at Aglio and Dalia. The Hyatt Vivid is definitely a new concept, and I am wondering how successful it with be especially when the Dreams opens next door. Having very little space to work with and no direct access to the beach (we didn’t go because we heard the noise level was terrible) I think that people will have difficulty relaxing. Although the hotel is very contemporary and well decorated, it seems that many things were left unfinished. As others have said, this is a downtown hotel placed in a beautiful location. It has no resort vibe. My stay was peasant, but I will not return.

Fresco Ceviche Go see Jesus and Guadalupe for the best fresh ceviche and aguachile in Mexico! Best service and fresh seafood prepared to your liking. Sauce can be spicy, chipotle or mild. Freshest ingredients at the hotel! Highly recommend!

Angel “Mexican chocolate” is the best dance instructor ever! Very nice, volley ball is great, the whole staff is so friendly. Get a special drink from Adel too and say hello to charly and Guillermo! Also visit angel MC for salsa dancing lessons!!

Stayed for 7 days, upgraded to Vantage Club. Food: Best I’ve had at an all inclusive. The Ceviche bar was a highlight. Guadalupe and Jesus (I hope I got the spelling correctly) made the best ceviche I’ve ever had and kept us laughing the whole time. I will think about this ceviche for the rest of my life, like the love that got away. The restaurants were all exceptional, our groups consensus was that the Japanese was the showstopper. The seafood dishes at this resort are so fresh and well crafted. 10/10 Rooms: We had a vantage club jr suite and upon arrival were upgraded to a larger suite. Rooms were clean and the mini bar was well stocked every day. They are very modern in design and function, as one would expect at a brand new resort. Some of our party thought the beds were on the hard side (enough that it’s worth mentioning) but that’s my preference so I thought they were great. Pools: Both the rooftop pool (Vantage only) and the main pools are great. The roof top pool is colder and it can get chilly if it’s windy up there. But on sunny day, it’s absolutely perfect. Be mindful of sun exposure, there’s little for shade at certain times of day. The lower pools are much warmer and that’s where most of the daytime activities happen. Vantage Club: absolutely worth the upgrade. If access to the rooftop pool wasn’t enough, there’s also the lounge that is stocked with decent snacks all day. The drinks are top shelf. Beach club: our party seemed to agree that it wasn’t all its hyped up to be. It was just… fine. If you’re there to collect shots for your Instagram though, it’s the place to do it. Very pretty. That said, the restaurant is amazing. Highly recommend checking that out. Things to note: - there is no buffet for dinner. You must eat at one of the restaurants. They seemed to be able to accommodate tables of 2 pretty well. So this will only be con if you have a large party. You need to book your dinners at 9:00 am every day via the app. We did always manage to get dinner for 6 people, it just required us to designate the dinner bookings to the early risers. So not reaaaally a bad thing… Just a caution for big groups - the ATM on site only dispenses US dollars and as with any resort ATM charges insane fees. . So to my fellow Canadian travellers… if you want to pay in pesos, have some before you come. - overall our stay was great. We really enjoyed everything. There was one questionable poolside game (musical chairs) that had contestants running across a wet pool deck for quite a distance, so I’d love to see the staff consider ways to keep their potentially intoxicated patrons a little safer. A few people fell and it just could have gone much worse. But overall it wouldn’t deter us from the resort just some feedback.

What a fantastic place. The hotel is beautiful in all areas. I loved the design. We were given a total 5-star treatment. We were given a warm towel when we arrived and our luggage was taken and delivered to our room. Check inn was excellent, and everything was explained. Our room was wow. We had a king size junior suite with a bay view. Bed was super comfortable and huge. Loads of room. Bathroom with twin sinks and a huge shower with a stand-alone bath with jets. Safe in wardrobe, mini fridge with beer and soda and also a small wine fridge. The food in the hotel was excellent we ate in all the restaurants and was never disappointed the food and service was excellent. The snacks bar and food truck were also excellent. The coffee bar was great for cakes, smoothies, and sandwiches worth a visit. Breakfast in the buffet restaurant was amazing and it had so much choice and again service excellent. Pool areas fantastic. The two pools at bottom of hotel are great. Lots of entertainment, music playing all day around pool areas. The entertainment team is fantastic. They were all great encouraging folk to join in. Ceaser, Nef , Kimberly, and the whole team thank you. Roof top pool is great more chilled out but the views are fantastic, great service from the bar staff. Plenty of evening entertainment from shows, quizzes, karaoke, bingo, and a dj till 1am. We really enjoy the entertainment. The beach club is amazing well worth a visit. Free shuttle takes about 5 minutes. Staff are excellent and couldn't do enough for you. The food is amazing here. We were advantage club, which gave us access to the advantage club. The service was outstanding from the bar staff. They made fantastic cocktails and top-quality alcohol. Nothing was a problem. We both had an amazing time at the hotel. We were celebrating our 25th anniversary. Thank you for making it extra special.

We went to Hyatt vivid at the end of February/start of march, the best hotel we have ever stayed in and can’t wait to come back,all the staff make sure you have the best time possible and treat you like royalty and go to any lengths to make your stay even better, Gibran the entertainment manager looked after us from the first day we arrived and did everything he could for us to make sure we had the best holiday we could, always checking if we were okay or needed anything,he even arranged a special dinner for me and my girlfriend on our last night. All the food was really nice and the beach club is unreal especially with Carlos looking after us he was always making sure we had everything we wanted, the service was incredible we never had to ask once for a drink and was constantly being surprised with different cocktails that he thought we would like and making us feel welcome at all times. These 2 Gibran and Carlos made our trip very special but all the staff are very helpful and do everything they can to ensure you enjoy your stay. We have already planned to come back to this hotel in February next year and we can’t wait.

The food was universally delicious. We were especially blown away by Fresco Ceviche - our friends Jesus and Guadalupe tended to our needs and made us delicious ceviche every day of our trip. Jesus even cleaned our sunglasses. We will DEFINITELY be back.

My husband and I traveled here for a long needed vacation. When we got to the hotel, they greeted us with a refreshing drink and took our luggage to be delivered later. We were so tired and hungry after traveling for 13 hours, we just wanted to eat something. Unfortunately, the restaurants are by reservation, so we couldn’t get into any restaurant. My husband gets hangry, so we finally figured out to get room service. If you’re in the same predicament, you can do that or get sandwiches that are made to order downstairs in the coffee area. After we slept 11 hours, we went to make reservations for that nights dinner. This was the thing that won’t bring me back here. You have to get up and make reservations by 9am the day of the dinner reservation and hope you get the time and place you want. It’s literally like trying to get concert tickets before they sell out. On the other hand, the restaurants are great. Service and food was amazing. The mini bar in the room is not a mini bar. It has a few bottled waters, beer, and soft drinks. No hard alcohol. You have to go downstairs to get a hard alcohol drink. The room is nice and spacious. The floor is already coming up in places, and the thermostat can’t go below 70 degrees, which is obviously a money saver for the hotel. But I like it colder in my room and that wasn’t going to happen. Once we were going out of our room and we saw fumigation people. They said they fumigate every room every day. What? We were never told that. We asked them not to fumigate our room, though when we returned, there was spray matter at the bottom of the cabinets that wasn’t there before. I’ve included a picture. The pool area was nice, except for a few things. Firstly, the deck is made of regular wood. For a beach resort, I’d think they’d use a product like Trek and they didn’t. So all week they were sanding and resealing the wood. Didn’t want to see that honestly. I’ve included a picture of that too. Another thing is the amount of activities in the water. I wish it was just quieter. Plus the amount of times people coming up to you asking if we want a spa treatment got a bit tiring. The most annoying thing was that there wasn’t a closer bathroom by the pool. You had to walk through the lobby bar area or across to the other side of the 2nd pool to use it. They had a sign that said “banios” by the swim up bar, but it hadn’t been constructed yet. So plan your pee and poo accordingly! My last point is for the superior customer service from the many employees at the hotel. The service Ivan and Emilio gave us while at the pool was outstanding . So hospitable and quick. Amazing service. Fesh at the pool area was lovely. She was very personable and friendly. Angel and Mario at The Amber bar were so sweet and accommodating. Very kind people. The ceviche bar was delicious. Very fresh and tasty. Guadalupe and Jesus were great. They took good care of us. Jesus at Serenity deserves a shout out too. We both saw a shooting star one night when no one else did. He made great Black Russians. Great service! I can’t remember the names of the bartenders at Nectar, but they too were great. Very professional and helpful getting us some change for tips. It was a nice trip. Just wish it had been quieter around the pool area. Oh, one last issue! The smell in the lobby is not good. I don’t know who thinks it is, but my husband couldn’t even go in there. For me, it made me nauseous. Please don’t use that fragrance.

It was my First Adult all inclusive it was very nice. I had an amazing breakfast every morning. My waiter was named Jesus. He was very friendly, polite, and courteous to our needs, like my morning adult breakfastand the Mimosas were amazing . Also, if you prefer a different juice, they can make that too, or however you want drinks made. I enjoyed the Mimosas, xxx Mexican Green Red Can Beer. Coffee with baileys was great. They had different choices of food at the poolside. Pools were clean and warm. I walked over and saw the other things like volleyball and tennis courts great for a couples game. We snacked at the Coco Cafe for ice cream, coffee, and sandwiches between meals and hot beverages during the evening Mayan Show. I was a little chilly from the wind, so I would sometimes drink coffee in the evening and cold capachinos- coffee drinks before breakfast. I enjoyed shopping in the resort store. They have reasonably priced stuff to buy for souvenirs or want to wear something new on the resort jewrly , purses souvenirs. If you're off resort and go in town, you will see more vendors buts its crowded, and you can get bothered by sales excursion vendors, etc . It was my 50th birthday along with the hotel staff special thanks to Jessica Yasmin and Soriano Vazquez and the Unlimited Vacation Club I had an amazing 5 star birthday at this resort. Everything was there, and I was pampered by all the resort staff in this beautiful Mexico Resort. 5 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 Can't wait to try another on my next vacation to the Carribean - Mexican beaches!!! If you only go here for Lupe’s ceviche at fresco, it will be worth the trip. Green aguachile was as good as you’ll find anywhere in CDMX. Will be back! Jesus and chef Guadalupe were the best! Ceviche and service were superb. The room was relaxing and comfortable. Definitely recommend.

We had an unbelievably relaxing time here. Top notch service from Jesus and Guadalupe at the taco truck- very authentic and delicious. The food overall was 9/10. But the taco truck was 10/10 for service and food. Great experience highly recommend!!

We loved this resort, and we were kept busy with the many activities that were available, pilates on floating mats, aqua cycling, water aerobics and the pickle ball tournament. The entertainment group is a fantastic bunch of people. Chocolate Angel, Gemma, Jasmine and Caesar kept us active to help burn off the calories we consumed. A big thanks to Gustavo who was always there to keep us "hydrated" by the pool with many refreshing drinks. Jesus and Guadalupe were there for our lunches at the taco truck. They asked what our preferences were, and they magically delivered stellar tacos. Unfortunately, we were unable to visit the ceviche spot, but heard many good things about it. We went to the beach club several times, and the food was amazing. The tuna poke nachos and the aqua chile shrimp were the highlights in our opinion. Unfortunately, I cannot recall the waiters' names, but the service was outstanding. Our first night there we ate at Oishi (Japanese). We opted to have our food paired with a tequila tasting at an additional cost. Ilian ordered our food with our likes and dislikes considered, and the tequila tasting and lesson, as well as the food was outstanding. We ate at Le Lys (French) twice and Abel (sorry, I forget the other waiter's name) served us well. My husband said that the beef tenderloin was the best that he had ever eaten. We ate at Aglio (Italian) twice and Eddie and Abel served us incredibly wonderful meals. The staff at the resort were so friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make our stay the best experience it could possibly be. Ilian and Chocolate Angel were outstanding. We booked a trip to Chichen Itza and the cenotes through the Sun Wing representative in the lobby. The room was beautiful and comfortable. Our only criticism was the lack of bathrooms centralized in the pool area, but from chatting with the staff, that will be corrected in the months to come. This was our first trip there, but it will not be our last.

This resort exceeded expectations simply due to customer service and the morale of the staff. Every single staff member greets you, asks if there is anything they can do for you and gives 5 star service. The rooms are beautiful and well kept. This resort is very chill and relaxing yet the staff always strived to keep guests involved and having a great time. I’m not one to exercise daily yet I looked forward to morning water aerobics and cycling with Angel “ Mexican chocolate” and his team. They made everything so much fun. We also enjoyed the cacao ceremony with Francesca and Maya. The evening shows were beautiful displays of the Mayan culture. The restaurants had excellent choices and we felt like we went around the world with our dining experiences. This resort is not on the beach but a quick shuttle gets you to their beach club where they have a bar, restaurant and ample seating and umbrellas. We definitely have found a place we’d like to return to when we want to unwind and relax!

Fantastic resort!! Our favorite place to eat… Fresco Ceviche. Guadaloupe and Jesus are wonderful hosts! 💜 The ceviche is made to order and to devour! Check out the Serenity Bar & Terrace, Jesus makes the best drinks. He takes his time to make each drink a work of art!

5 out of 5. Best ceviche I ever tried at fresco ceviche! Wonderful flavor combination of secret sauce and the perfectly diced seafood goods. Guac with a hint of spice make it even more tasty. Chef Guadalupe and server Jesus make our vacation experience amazing!

The only one in the entire hotel who was rude was the bartender at the Coco café (morning one, brian or something else didn't remember his name obviously) But either was it was absolutely perfect! Angel, Orlando, and the whole entertainment crew are the best! They made us feel welcome. We loved our stay and all the staff were friendly, but we had a great time hanging out with, playing games with, and chatting with the entertainment staff!
