Overall the hotel was clean and the staff is extremely friendly and accommadating. Especially Gabriel who made our eggs every morning. The buffet staff Ruby and Andres Borrego never let our coffee go cold. The food is good and the drinks are average. Our biggest issue was that we were celebrating a birthday and with a group of 12 (six couples) and the restaurants would not accommadate us to sit together. They would only sit us in group of 6 and 6, and not even sitting close to each other. We stayed in the lagoon view room and found it to be very spacious with a large balcony. The bed was very comfortable. My only room issue was our shower. On arrival the water pressure in the raintree showerhead was weak, but when we inquired they sent someone immediately to address it and it was a little better but not great. Also the water temperture was luke warm not hot. Others in our group did not have this issue. The beach was amazing, our only suggestion is that the hotel invest in more umbrellas as there were not enough for all the guests. As all inclusive resorts go, it was a good value for the money.

My wife and I spent four nights at Beach Palace and we absolutely loved our stay! I have many fantastic things to say about the resort and only one (objectively) negative thing to say. First, the praises! 1. The accommodations within the room are phenomenal! We stayed in the superior deluxe ocean view room with a king bed and were blown away with how nice the room was! The hot tub inside the room gives an extra level of privacy that was greatly appreciated! The room comes with an easily-programmable safe, basic hair tools, soap, shampoo and conditioner, the AC blasted very cold, the bed was extremely comfortable, the TV worked perfectly, the mini fridge was stocked, room service was timely twice a day, and the overall atmosphere was simply perfect. 2. The onsite dining options satisfied and exceeded all expectations. We utilized the breakfast buffet every morning and even when arriving late, there are plenty of options as long as you aren't a baby picky eater. If you are a picky eater, grow up and get out of your comfort zone. A solid omelet, fresh fruit, local cuisines, pancakes, juices, and cereal were all readily available. I would like to give a special thank you to Gabriela at the omelet bar for being a wonderful influence on our morning routine. She really went above and beyond to provide extraordinary service and made us feel so welcomed as well as provided perfectly cooked omelets every morning. We also dined at both Momo and Tavola and thoroughly enjoyed our experiences! The service was fantastic, the drinks were thoughtfully crafted, the dishes were well presented and tasted fantastic. You cannot go wrong with them but make sure to make reservations the day before! 3. THE AWE SPA!!! My wife and I used our resort credits towards an 80 minute vitamin c facial as well as an 80 minute aromatherapy massage that were both fantastic! We still had to pay the taxes on the services but it was money well spent. I went early to indulge in the sauna/steam room and could recommend it more if that is your thing but beware, the steam room was extra HOT! 4. Excursions can be easily booked with many of the staff there. We had already planned on visiting Isla Mujeres while in Cancun, but the excursion simplified the whole process AND added us being on a smaller, more intimate boat with other folks and included snorkeling (weather permitting). Please utilize the excursion staff, they are very helpful and competent. 5. Overall vibes were pretty high for the entire establishment. We went with no kids and still had a very good experience overall, but it is obvious that it is a very family friendly resort. We ended up hanging out at the rooftop bar more than any other pool (see below) and would like to give an extra thank you to Gabriela at the roof top bar. She was the absolute best, refilled our drinks when she saw we were low, took timely orders, told jokes and talked with us, and made the rooftop extra special to us! The only real criticism I have of Beach Palace is the seating/lounging availability at the pools. If you've played the towel game, you know how dumb it is. In order to secure a couple of seats, not fantastic right next to the pool/bar seats, but ordinary pool seats, I woke up extra early so my wife could sleep in and still be able to enjoy the pool. If you don't have a pool seat by 7:30, don't try. It's beyond frustrating and while everything I said above is completely true and wonderful, this one detail would be the tipping point if another resort offered comparable amenities AND ample seating. It is such a black eye on this otherwise wonderful location.

I am writing this review while we are still here. My hubby and I chose Beach Palace because we are Palace members and usually go to the Grand. Due to mobility issues we chose this palace resort for the size and elevators etc. It was perfect for us. We booked via Sunwing vacations due to the low Canadian dollar rather than through the Palace company. We did try to book through the Palace company. The timeshare people on site are not surprised with this and we got to know Willi throughout this week. He is funny and if I felt better walking I believe I would have listened to an update. Thank you Willi for your fun personality! The cleanliness is apparent throughout the resort and although the Palace is dated, it is clean and comfortable. Our housekeeper is amazing and we have had Veiensiana for the most part. She makes the room sparkle. The dancers as part of the entertainment team under the tutelage of Luis are creative and not repetitious. Very talented and enjoyable to watch. The oceanfront views and the huge balcony with the double chaise lounge is lovely and we are using our balcony for a change. Watched the fire show from the balcony too. The ocean is wonderful to watch more than enter…red flag surf every day so far. Many do enter and the life guard will blow his whistle to keep all safe and bring you closer to shore. Alberto set us up nicely on the beach with an umbrella. The pool chairs do get busy at the main areas so we went up to the rooftop yesterday. Another great afternoon with Rudy serving us food and drink on our double padded lounger. We have enjoyed room service every morning and I must tell you I am not an easy customer. I am a celiac with tree nut and shell fish allergies. I write everything down via the App and all has been perfect. They tend to come at the end of the scheduled time frame. Use the App to order everything! The front desk staff are also attentive and kind and a big shout out to Marcos who helped me upgrade to an oceanfront before we arrived. The membership did help me with this issue for I phoned the Palace toll free number a few weeks before we arrived. Now onto the buffet….there are two managers that shine, Aylin and Janett. They offer to make me anything I desire for they are concerned with cross contamination with gluten etc. It has been a wonderful experience. The Hostesses Judith, Hania, Mariali and Fernanda make sure they take care of my allergies too. I know I am forgetting someone. Here is a list of all the buffet staff that have treated us like VIP’s and work hard to please not just me but all guests: Juan Carlos, Epifanio, Antonio, Daniela who works the fajitas station, Anajeli and Gabriela who makes the best omelettes. I apologize if I forgot you! The dessert section always offers a gluten free dessert. We enjoyed the Smokehouse late one evening and our waiter Maisalas (spelling) was also terrific and the food perfect. On Valentine’s Day we had a special event on the Terrace with a huge buffet. Once again Aylin and Chef Elias took very good care of me and showed me exactly what I could and could not eat. Thank you to both of them. The food was totally different from what I am used to but it was mild and tasty. Overall the Beach Palace offers a smaller selection of food than Moon Palace and the Grand but it is a much smaller resort. However we have absolutely no complaints and I have been treated like a VIP without being a VIP. If you have allergies please let them know. Finally the Treat shack is a treat. Liset worked so hard on a gluten free crepe…all the crepes are gluten free made with almond flour and Yaremi makes my tea each night. The chocolates and treats are a nice ending to a day and always with a smile. The training of the staff here is amazing truly. Thank you for a great vacation! We are now off to the beach!

We spent a week at the beach palace Cancun. We really enjoyed the food and the excellent service. We feel that the employees love their work and really want to make customers feel good. We really liked the 24-hour food service as well as the sweets and coffee shop which is really fantastic. The room was also very beautiful with a large balcony and a large whirlpool bath included. No complaints about cleanliness. Despite all this we won't return to this hotel or any palace hotels. The Beach palace is old and needs renovation. We were informed that it would soon be closed for 7 months to be renovated. It really needs it. For example, on occasions it happened that the ventilation smelled like sewage in the room! Also the only restaurant where you can eat outside is the smokehouse. The main cafeteria is indoor which we find quite disappointing. There is no toilets near the beach and they need to install fixed umbrellas besides the chairs. But the most disappointment was to be trapped into a 90-minute presentation in another resort called Le Blanc, 10 minutes from the Beach Palace. We were taken into a detailed presentation of a membership package for 100 or 400 or 800! weeks of vacation for tens or hundreds of thousands of US dollars. The offer is take it or leave it and we had a lot of pressure to sign on the spot. We were insulted to have lost half a day of our vacation for this high-pressure pitch despite the fact that we were offered massages to attend this presentation.

Good and Worst Beach Palace Cancun The good: the entertainment staff at the main pool was amazing and energetic. They were very friendly and always included everyone in the activities. The energy in the main pool area was amazing. Shout out to Sergio, he doing a stellar job. 10/10 The pool side servers were great as well and always timely with orders and incredibly polite. 9/10 The beds were amazing and my wife and I got some of the best sleep we have ever had. 10/10 The roof pool and bar were nice and quiet if you wanted to get away for a little. 9/10 The ice-cream was great across the entire resort however most of the other desserts seemed to be flavorless. 5.5/10 The restaurants were good over all and we enjoyed them. 7.5/10 The offsite day trip excursion to Tulum and swimming in Cenote’s were an absolute blast and would recommend that to everyone. 11/10 Was very family friendly as well and of course kids will be kids but it wasn’t anything crazy and distracting or negative. 10/10 The worst: My wife got a massage and during it told the masseur it was to rough and to ease up multiply times. That did not happen and my wife came back sore and in pain with bruises all over her back and legs. She could barely walk the next day. I understand massages are supposed to make you sore and we have had many massage before but this was absolutely ridiculous. When you tell someone to not go as hard their response should not be “it is supposed to be like this”. The resort didn’t care what happened and brushed it off saying we reviewed all other massages from this masseur and nothing seems to be wrong so we aren’t doing anything about it. 1/10 Other small things are I really wanted to play beach volleyball and beach soccer the week I was here but it never happened because there were to many lawn chairs in the sand. 2/10 My wife and I were going to come back to beach palace but after this response from the resort regarding the massage we will not be coming back. Oh and did I mention this was my honey moon with my wife…

Beach Palace is our favorite! We just returned from our 3rd visit to BP since March 2024. It truly is our home away from home. The staff are amazing! Gabriela from Tequila (egg station) is fabulous. She saw us in the restaurant on our first day and came out and gave us a warm welcome! Ernesto from Tequila, Alejandro from Gondola are both great! The beach is beautiful. The resort is small but we like the friendliness of a smaller resort. Looking forward to going back soon. Looking forward to the renovations about to take place. Updating is needed and we’re happy to know it’s about to happen. But don’t let that deter you from visiting Beach Palace in the mean time!

My husband and I went here for our honeymoon. The staff was always in a good mood and very helpful. We enjoyed all of the restaurants but Momos was our favorite. Silvano was our waiter at Momos and he was extremely friendly and kind to us. When he heard it was our honeymoon he gave us a little celebration with our dessert and we loved it! He is amazing! The food was excellent, by far the best! Silvano was one of those people we will never forget!
