Our first trip to the Maldives and we couldn’t have chosen a better resort. The island itself is beautiful, and small, with an abundance of reef life - perfect for snorkelling off the beaches. Food was fantastic, plenty of choice at every meal in the buffet restaurant, and the a la carte restaurant is a real treat - fine dining as good as any we’ve had in cities around the world. Great selection of wines and cocktails and the sommeliers are always on hand to advise. Rooms are modern, clean and spacious, with great aircon (needed) and attentive housekeeping twice a day. We took three trips with the dive centre and had a great time with Mauro and Lal. But what really seals the deal is the staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful from the minute we arrived at the seaplane lounge to being waved off on the jetty, nothing was too much trouble and we were greeted with warm smiles wherever we went. Our compliments to ALL who work at the resort. You made our holiday and we will be back.

We have just been on our second trip to Moofushi. It was quite the best holiday we have ever had. Mevin and his wonderful team were universally excellent in supporting us. This is a quiet peaceful resort and we got into a marvellous routine of snorkelling, relaxed eating, sampling wonderful wines and above all resting. The highlights of the trip included the house reef, which the resident marine biologist is proactively nurturing and expanding, and the wine tasting experience standing in the lagoon surrounded by friendly reef sharks!. All the staff were superb, the only one we would mention by name is Gopan because of his amazing encyclopaedic memory for names. Moofushi offers a wonderfully luxurious and restful experience – we intend to return soon

Would I recommend this resort - well we're just booking for next year and so it's emphatically "yes".

I don’t really know where to start…Rooms are extremely comfortable (we stayed in a sand villa), well-stocked complimentary drinks and snack mini bar, food was superb and gym with a superb manager, JB. The whole staff were so eager to please,

It was our 5th time with Constance Moofushi Maldives this year. Not only we had got married on this pristine island, but keep coming back every year now. We simply need the M vitamin on the yearly basis. What does M shot involve? Delicious and vast array of healthy meal options, very friendly and attentive team members, any time ready to help you or make your stay even more memorable. The Moofushi island itself is a nature preserve and is carefully taken care of. We always stay in the Senior Water Villa at the furthest possible end of the jetty since nothing can compare to watching the turquoise waters of the Indian ocean all around you day and night. Moofushi has turned into a place very close to my heart. What makes this destination unique though, is the Moofushi team. As a recurring guest I have had the opportunity to see more into depth of the operations and I appreciate the incredible rapport between the management and the team. My dear Moofushi, I am certain I can call you home. Thank you, team members, for making our stay yet more memorable this year. Namely, Mevin, the brains and heart of the island, Luthi for making anything possible (a barista vegan milk in my capuccino included), Manjoola for having lovely conversations and not forcing me to use my rusty French, depite French being her mother tongue), Daniel and Dilup for the best ever meals and Srí Lankan okra curry (will never forget this delicacy), Gopan and his team for spoiling us with lovely cocktails (Long Distance Runner among my favorites), Bhoumi and Madu for taking care of my husband´s wine taste buds and last but not least to Binju for welcoming us to lunches and dinners no matter how hot it was, always with her lovely smile on, and Dhona for keeping our villa in a perfect shape. Cannot wait to be back in our Moofushi home. Thank you loads!

The location is absolutely perfect, soft sandy beaches, outstanding reefs to snorkel 🤿 with a relax atmosphere to enjoy everything the island has to offer. From the welcome to the fairwell the service with a smile was exceptional, always with a smile and willing to help . Must go back

We had 12 wonderful nights here in February 2025. I think everyone has stated how wonderful the staff, food, ambiance etc is. I would just like to add, we love the ethos of the Constance group. It shone through how the staff were so happy working for this company. The years that they had worked for the group. This hotel has been here for 15 years, lots of the staff had worked for, 6 plus years, with many as long as 12 years. We will definitely look at booking again, either the Maldives or other places where Constance are.

Holidays don't get to be a lot more perfect than this. The accommodation is excellent - I would recommend the sand villas for location - you feel like you have a private beach outside your decking. The food is out of this world - we ate twice in the Alizee...

Holidays don't get to be a lot more perfect than this. The accommodation is excellent - I would recommend the sand villas for location - you feel like you have a private beach outside your decking. The food is out of this world - we ate twice in the Alizee which is true fine dining but the main Manta restaurant is also first class. Huge variety and you can choose to sit out on the beach or on the lovely decked area and special mention to the sommeliers who are excellent. The lovely Totem bar was a favourite - great cocktails and lunchtime food. The setting is of course, outstanding, but it is the wonderful staff who make this a special destination. Faultless service from everyone and special thanks to Gopan who was just lovely. We will return - it was paradise.

We have just returned from our second trip to Moofushi. Short review: it was every bit as good as the first. Don’t hesitate to book! Long review: SERVICE: The stand out with this resort is the people. The team excel at service without being intrusive. They are genuine, authentic and go out of their way to make sure you have the best experience and by the time you leave feel like dear friends and family that you don’t want to leave. A credit to Mevin and Manjoola. FOOD: The main Manta restaurant is not a standard AI buffet. The quality is 5* and as good as any a la carte. For example, we had fresh cooked lobster, roast pheasant with red wine jus, fresh made pasta, and sail fish the chef had caught himself! All freshly cooked and served. There are Theme nights every night and always plenty of variation with very high hygiene standards. Lots of “live stations” for fresh cooked options. Daniel the Executive chef should be very proud. Service in the restaurant is excellent, with a special call out and much thanks to Binju, so lovely to see you again. One night we were surprised with a special set up dinner which was a lovely treat and most unexpected. We ate in Alizee the a la carte one night and compliments to the chef as the food was out of this world and had improved on our last visit. ACCOMMODATION: We booked a senior water villa which was immaculately kept by Imaz. We had 71 which had lovely views of the sunset, went directly into the sea near the sandbank. A perfect location. (If you want the best snorkelling direct from your villa the “water villas” are probably the best choice for you) HOSPITALITY: Luthi and his F&B team were fabulous making the whole food and drink experience amazing. The sommeliers made one of my bucket list dreams come true. I wanted to sabre champagne which they organised for me to do as part of a wine tasting in the lagoon. Coco quickly learnt my wine preferences and made some great suggestions. ACTIVITIES: We loved the water sports are AI and took the canoes out regularly. Snorkelling is excellent. We did the Dolphin watching trip (included) and saw not just dolphins, but flying fish and pilot whales! As we were there over Valentine’s we paid extra to join a special event/meal. This was well worth the extra. The beach had been decorated, there was a cocktail party, then live music over dinner with tables laid with privacy for two, a 7 course meal with paired wines, roses and our bed had been decorated on return. A really special night. SPA: Don’t miss the opportunity to get a discounted couples massage. 90 minutes of heaven. The best massage I have ever had courtesy of Debora. We ended up booking another three spa sessions it was so good! Thank you to the entire team, we had another amazing stay and will be back!

Constance Moofushi keeps pulling us back to the amazing food, wonderful staff, beautiful villas and of course the unbelievable snorkelling on the house reef. Special mention must to go to Gopan and Shah in the bar, Hisham in the restaurant, Inaas and Azey in the totem bar and JB in the gym. They made our stay extra special! JB was hugely helpful with a very beneficial stretching routine, lots of workout advice and a great yoga session. We tried the spa this visit and will definitely be returning. It is truly our special paradise island….

Extremely fortunate to have made a second visit to Constance Moofushi where the laid back luxury is truly paradise. From the moment we were met by the Constance representative at Male and 'welcomed back', through the smiling attentive service of the lady at the sea plane lounge, to the welcome back from Dhanna as we stepped off the sea plane, and the warm greeting from Mevin, the general manager, the tone was set for a stunning 10 days. While the setting is superb, the real jewel in the crown is the staff. Every single member of staff we met was charming, smiling and willing to do anything to make our stay just perfect. It seems wrong to single out individuals but I hope these people will see themselves as representatives of the relevant teams. Thank you to Ifham for keeping the room in impeccable condition and for the wonderful bed decorations; to Riki and Gopan for your service and humour in the bars and of course for recreating Bangkok DNA cocktail; to the whole F & B team for the quality, quantity and variety of food at each meal time and the wonderful staff who were so attentive but not intrusive as we ate; to all the sommeliers for wonderful advice on wines to accompany the meals (and Bhoumi for the alternative grape juice!); thank you to Prajin for organising the spa bookings and to Hari and Debra for some of the best massages we have ever had; A huge thank you to all the service team and the many people behind the scenes - engineers, technicians, recycling teams - who all help to make the resort so incredible. For those who enjoy snorkelling but who would prefer to access a reef just off the beach, this resort is again ideal, with a stunning variety of fish, rays and reef sharks to enjoy. In short, another fabulous holiday at this wonderful jewel of a resort. A huge thank you to Mevin and all the staff for making our second stay just as enjoyable as the first.

This was our third visit to Constance Moofushi and I hope we can keep on going there. It’s such a wonderful place to relax and be well looked after. The hotel is very well run and the staff very welcoming and helpful - nothing is too much trouble. The food is excellent with a huge choice at every meal and they are very good with identifying allergies - everything is clearly marked . I am a coeliac and I found that particularly helpful. The resident marine biologist was delightful and very informative. She gave several presentations each week with a huge amount of information about the reefs, corals and marine life and the problems faced in the Maldives as a result of sea warming. She was well supported by the dive centre where you can obtain free snorkelling equipment. The spa at Moofushi is very good. It is very special to have a massage looking through a glass window in the floor at the fish in the sea below. I would especially mention Peldun as being an excellent therapist.

It was incredible to see reef sharks and other fish so close to the shore. We did an amazing snorkelling trip and although nervous , we began to feel confident with great care and guidance by Federica. Views are stunning and whole island vibe so relaxing. Will definitely be back.

What an incredible place! The service, the views, the activities, the accommodation were all absolutely fantastic. Manjoola and Ali were there as soon as we got off the sea plane to give us the warmest welcome and show us to our villa. The dive centre was amazing and the excursions that were on offer were brilliant and delivered by knowledgeable and enthusiastic people. I have a really serious peanut/nut allergy, however I felt so catered for. Sam introduced us to the head chef and he explained that nothing would be too much trouble for them...which was absolutely true. Also, everything is labelled in an easy to follow format so there were no doubts about anything that I was eating at all. I can't recommend Constance Moofushi enough. It was absolutely the holiday of a lifetime and that level of service/the views will be hard to beat, not just in the Maldives, but worldwide. Thank you everyone at Moofushi for such a beautiful, peaceful escape.

Upon arrival to the airport in Malè, a friendly Constance employee escorted us to a beautiful, spacious, and comfortable lounge, where we awaited our Transmaldivian Airlines flight. An assortment...

This was our second trip to Moofushi and it turned out to be just as impressive as our first honeymoon stay. Upon arrival to the airport in Malè, a friendly Constance employee escorted us to a beautiful, spacious, and comfortable lounge, where we awaited our Transmaldivian Airlines flight. An assortment of breakfast pastries and drinks were freely available to satisfy hungry travelers, and, for our convenience (and enjoyment), there was also a private shower, several charging stations, an array of seating, and a great view of the sea plane dock. When we arrived at the resort, staff greeted us, provided a brief tour, gave us a pair of flip flops to use on the docks, and graced us with a thirst-quenching tropical iced tea. As with our first stay, every single detail was perfect; the staff at Moofushi are just incredible. They even granted us our request to stay in the same overwater villa that we stayed in for our honeymoon. The over water villas are airy, decorated in natural materials, and clean. The open-air shower is relaxing and rejuvenating, and the deck extending out to the ocean offers stunning views that can be enjoyed by day or night. Plus, the steps that lead from the deck into the water allow guests to take full advantage of the island setting, for these are your own private key to snorkeling, swimming, or just taking a quick dip. While we slept with the sliding doors open, which allowed us to hear the sounds of water lapping up against the pilings that supported each villa, there is also a mini-split air conditioning unit that cools off the room during the hotter parts of the day. The free mini bar was stocked with candy, wine, beer, juice, and soda, and bottles of water were refreshed daily. During our stay, Zhijan, Adil, Dhanna and Manjoola assisted us with all our questions and requests. We felt that all the staff at Moofushi sincerely cared for us, and everyone we met provided impeccable service as well as attention to detail. As this is an all-inclusive resort, a rarity in this part of the world, it’s important to note that the food and the drinks were also stellar. Breakfasts at the Manta Restaurant would satisfy even the most eclectic palettes, and there was a myriad of options when it came to lunch, either at the Manta or the Totem bar. We had an exceptional dinner at Alize, where our sommeliers, Koko and Aime, magically found wines that matched our tastes. We also both agree that guests should not miss out on Ocean Night, particularly when it came to the offerings at Manta Grill, if at all possible; we have never seen so many different types of fishes served all at once! It was truly a sight to see, and everything was grilled and seasoned to perfection. Moreover, Moofushi’s cocktail menus are extensive, and the drinks were good, not watered down at all. One of the best parts about Moofushi is that it is centered in a beautiful dive location, and we were able to take advantage of this multiple times during our stay. The crew at Moofushi’s Blue Tribe Dive Shop are professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and fun. See our separate review of them…. Our dives exposed us to the most spectacular underwater landscapes we have seen anywhere else in the world. We even got to see our first Manta Rays up close. So, whether you dive or snorkel, make an effort to get out into the water and see it for yourself! In addition to the diving and snorkeling excursions we did on this trip, we also took advantage of the beaches, sandbars, water hammocks, and piers, which allowed for as much relaxation as one could possibly desire on this beautiful island. Overall, Moofushi was just as magical and memorable to us as it was during our last visit seven years ago, and we could only hope to be able to return again one day.

This was our first time in the Maldives and we will be back. What a beautiful resort! We had a water villa and we loved looking over the decking and seeing all the different fish in the sea. The food was amazing and we particularly loved all the different flavours of home made ice cream on offer. We walked round the island most days and often we had the beach to ourselves - the resort has a very uncrowded feel to it. All the staff were amazing from the minute we landed in Male. We did a couple of the excursions booked with Blue Tribe and they were also good.

My husband and I have just returned from a 10 night stay at Moofushi. First time at this hotel and it certainly will not be our last. We stayed in a beach villa which was very spacious and conveniently located. The island has a very laid back feel and you immediately relax. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is primarily in the main restaurant, Manta, which was my only reservation before I booked this hotel, but the food was delicious and as there is a different theme each night, it keeps the food varied. We were also able to mix it up a bit as we had 2 nights dining at the a la carte restaurant, Alizee (gorgeous fine dining food) and had lunch at the Totem bar a few times (the burgers, linguine and the chips are exceptional). Our highlights were snorkelling off the house reef, the wine tasting in the ocean with little reef sharks swimming around and the spa treatments which were heavenly. But the hotel's main asset is its staff. Every single person we came across during our stay was so friendly. A few special mentions. Binju in Manta restaurant, Sha in Manta bar, Isse who kept our room spotless, Madhoo the head sommelier (who always greeted you with the biggest smile), Luthi the head of food and beverages, Manjoola the assistant manager, who was fabulous and will be missed as she heads off to a Constance hotel in Mauritius and the super general manager, Mevin who is running a great ship at CM. The trip was for our 30th wedding anniversary and the team at CM went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. It was such a memorable trip and we cannot wait to return.
