Our stay was perfect in every detail. The treatment and kindness of the staff stood out. And standing out in paradise is always harder. Our host Caterina was perfect, polite, kind, always ready to help us. This was very important to us since Qatar delayed our luggage by 3 days. She knew how to read our distress, gave us an upgrade and made us feel a little better. It really makes a difference to have someone on the island who helps you with everything (reservations, food, bureaucracy, finance, menus, etc.). An exemplary employee! In addition, the breakfast was wonderful, the food was very good, and the room service was impeccable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 8-day stay at the Conrad Rangali Island! We've stayed at several other resorts in the Maldives, including the St. Regis and the Waldorf Astoria. What makes the Conrad special are three things: 1. The staff are exceptionally friendly and thoughtful. We've been to luxury resorts where the staff are polite but reserved and you never make a true connection with any of the people. We were pleasantly surprised to find many staff members at the Conrad wanted to take the time to strike up a genuine conversation with us and learn about us while sharing their own stories. This also creates a more friendly culture among the guests, and lots of guests talk to each other too. The manager's reception for Diamond members helps to facilitate that too. When I think back about my stay, I reflect on the people I met. Our host Yaeesh was wonderful. We've been to dozens of luxury resorts with butlers and hosts, and Yaeesh was by far the best one we've met. He was incredibly proactive and anticipated our every need, and he has such a friendly yet sophisticated way of communicating with guests. I remember Puri, Moochi, and Lathan at Ufaa and how they welcomed us each afternoon for tea and remembered our preferences. I also remember Kosi at the Atoll Buffet / Rangali Bar and how he went out of his way to talk to us each morning. 2. There is a lot of wildlife at this resort. Some of the new resorts like the Ritz Carlton and Waldorf have very little wildlife - very limited fish, maybe a small reef shark here or there. At the Conrad, the reef is amazing with an incredible amount of variety in the fish. Manta rays can be spotted at night off of the bridge between the two islands. It's common to see sting rays, eagle rays, and reef sharks in the water. Whale sharks and manta rays are commonly seen on trips right outside the resort. 3. There's a lot to do here. At the St. Regis, I found myself bored after the second day (and I spend a lot of time at luxury beach resorts!). The Conrad has lots of restaurants, activities, and space to explore. The water sports activities are abundant, there are lots of wildlife tours nearby, the reef is great, the undersea restaurant is a fun visit, there are different types of pools and swimming spots, and of course there are lots of places to see the marine animals. Diamond members are treated well and have fun activities like the afternoon teas, evening happy hours, and the manager's reception. That being said, this resort is not perfect. The rooms are clean and comfortable but aren't flashy like the other luxury resorts, the internet is slow and spotty, the water filtration systems are older which causes the water to be not as filtered or clean-tasting, Vilu is known to have spotty service, the quality of the food is good but not great at most restaurants, and they don't really upgrade Diamond members to nicer rooms. However, I look back at my stay with fondness because of the people and marine animals I met, and I hope to one day return for a vacation. Many of the people I met at the resort were repeat visitors who have gone over five times and stay for 2-3 weeks at a time - I can understand why they like it so much! Final tip - we found the food to be the very best at Ufaa and looking back would have made more reservations there.

There are no words to describe the education and preparation of all the staff, especially the room attendant (Azlah)! He is the best of the best !! I highly recommend the hotel! I have been to 3 hotels in the Maldives in different years (Anantara, Pullman and Six Sense)! They are all very good, but we loved the Conrad more for its nature, its geographical location and the sea itself! We hope to return soon, we said goodbye with a heavy heart and a longing for all the moments lived! I highly recommend the restaurant under the water! A unique experience!

Rarely do I write reviews but on this occasion I felt the need to express my feelings and opinion now that I am back home. Unfortunately the cons outweigh the pros for my experience. From the start, you are met at the airport by a rep and ferried to the Conrad 'lounge' at the seaplane transfer harbour. This was a circa 90 minute wait in addition to the flight of approx. 30 mins to the resort itself. So a further 2 hrs on top of what time it has already taken to get to Male. Met at the dock of the hotel and shown to our room. Responsive to messages but the grasp of simple questions evaded our particular assignee. Stayed in an overwater sunset villa for 9 nights which on first impressions was very nice. However (not particularly) closer inspection revealed several chips on the dual sinks in the bathroom (around 6 in all). Uneven, trip hazard decking planks protruding. Villa privacy screens could do with a fresh lick of paint. Very good housekeeping twice a day and left us 6-8 bottles of free water a day (more on the water later). We had half board facility with a choice of restaurants mapped out for our stay. There are supplements on certain menu items which are over and above that which our 'credit' allowed for. Water was 'Voss' and at around $20 a bottle you had no choice. So why leave 8 free bottles in your room and then not even include a single bottle in your half board 'credit'? This credit, is very inflexible by the way, you use it at dinner and nothing else. Why not just allow the customer to spend it anyway they want ...lunch, drinks etc and then when it runs out for the day you pay the extra? Food & service was good in all restaurants apart from Villu which we went to for breakfast most days however unless you got there shortly after it opened service was painfully slow just for even a simple order of coffee. One morning after waiting in excess of 20 minutes and a reminder we got up and walked out. Ah but there is a buffet on the main island I here you say, yes, if you like buffets and standing in line for your pick of the food then fill your boots (or bellies in this particular instance). Villu was a 2 minute walk from our villa and you had table service which is this not what you want on a 'luxury' break? Mini bar costs for drinks, crisps etc. eye wateringly expensive, yes I know its imported and mini bar prices are always hiked to the extreme but please be more realistic, we are already paying 26% over and above all prices stated on menu items (10% service & 16% tax)....and a 'green tax' on the final bill! Third party water sports, jet ski's etc. exorbitantly priced. I am at an age where I have done it many times before so I didn't miss out. Sunbed raiders on the beds at the 'quiet' pool, a total of 10 beds...people come along, dump a towel or a book on a bed and then go 'missing' for 2-3 hours depriving others because of their selfishness. Should be monitored by pool staff. Much like the dress code with one young 'lady' arriving at the quiet zone bar with a huge expletive blazoned across her 'T' shirt. If I were a parent with young children I would certainly have approached her and as a minimum expected a staff member to do it....dress code abused in plain sight. So, in summary, I cannot say it is in anyway a 'you get what you pay for' holiday as in my opinion, it certainly is not. It is great however, if you want to take pictures of yourself posing in various locations across the islands or at a cost (obviously!) have the resident island photographer take 'professional' images for you so that you can show everybody that you are in the Maldives. After 6 previous trips to the Maldives, it's time for me to look for pastures new.

My husband and I just got home from 7 nights at the Conrad. This is a breathtaking hotel that looks every bit like the pictures. We were checked in at the lounge in Male while we waiting for our seaplane. They have snacks, sandwiches and salads available. After our seaplane ride we were greeted by our host, Hussain, who took us in a buggy (electric golf cart) to our room. He showed us around and also got me connected to him via WhatsApp. We don’t usually use a butler service when on trips but he was super responsive and helpful several times answering questions and helping us when our keycards were deactivated. The resort is set on two islands and it is roughly 2 miles from end to end. We loved it as we were near the end of the adult island in a basic overwater villa so we had a good walk to nearly everything. Buggies are always available if you don’t feel like walking. Room: we booked the basic overwater villa and it was great for two people. It was a studio with a large tub and separate shower along with a closet for the toilet. We also had a large walk in closet. There was plenty of room around the king sized bed for a chair and small couch and coffee table. The deck had stunning views, two lounge chairs and a plunge pool. There are also stairs to the water if you want to swim right from your villa. Beach: we exclusively did beach time at the Quiet Zone. Amit is a fantastic bartender. He met us with a smile every morning and did everything he could to help us have a great stay. For the most part everyone was wonderful on the island but Amit really stood out. There are lounge chairs around the pool and on the beach. Although the hotel was at 90+% occupancy while we were there, we never had an issue getting chairs we wanted. My only very minor issue was that the area was sold as adults only but kids seemed to be allowed to be there. They were well behaved so not an issue for us but I can imagine if this isn’t policed better, it could be frustrating for those wanting a relaxing adult experience. Food: this was a major highlight that I honestly wasn’t expecting. We did the multi course dinners at the under water restaurant (Ithaa) and the Wine Cellar. Both had fantastic menus, great presentations and excellent ambience. I know others have commented that lunch or the appetizer experience was a better choice for them at Ithaa but if the dinner is in your budget, I’d recommend it. Just know that drinks are not included and the cheapest wine will run you around $200 so it’s not an inexpensive dinner. My next favorite is Vilu. Again, wonderful service and food quality. The Sunset Grill was fine although it felt like the staff was less experienced and unsure about the menu and drinks. I know most of the staff doesn’t drink so when you order something that isn’t directly off the cocktail menu, be prepared to explain exactly what you want. Our only bad experience was at the Rangali Bar and after talking with other guests, we were not alone. The staff is much less friendly and the food quality isn’t nearly as good as the other restaurants. A specific example, my husband doesn’t eat a lot and especially when it is really warm out mid day. He asked to order the kids pizza, not because he was being cheap but because he didn’t want the large size just to waste it. The server told him no, that the only option was to order the large pizza. At every other 5 star resort we have been to, they have allowed this, sometimes with an adult up charge (which would have been fine). He ended up getting the club sandwich which had soggy bacon (not sure if it was pork or chicken bacon) and he ended up not eating it. We had two dinners there, not because we wanted to but because it is the only choice when you don’t have reservations and we had planned a couple of nights without a plan. Both experiences were poor food quality and a lot of staff hanging around not doing much or being very friendly. It’s unfortunate because that was not our experience anywhere else on the island. We ate at both Vilu and the buffet for breakfast and enjoyed both very much. You gain more options at the buffet but a more relaxed environment at Vilu. Both have plenty of choices to serve whatever you’re in the mood for. Also the coffee is strong and delicious. Member HH: we were invited to the Gold/Diamond Hilton Honors happy hour. Don’t miss this experience! The champagne was free flowing, plenty of tasty snacks and a large number of staff around to chat. It was fun to mingle in that environment with people from around the world. It was a very nice touch and I really appreciate Hilton hosting like that. Also, there is happy hour at Vilu from 5-6pm and the Quiet Zone from 6-7pm daily so if you want to bar hop a bit, it is kind of fun before dinner. There is also HH at the Rangali Bar bar from 6-7pm but given that we were already on the adult side and our experience there, we avoided it. Spa: I did a 90 minute massage. The spa is beautiful and has a very unique layout over water. It was great and totally worth it. Check Out: our host was great about communicating check out time, seaplane departure and shower options given that we needed to check out 5 hours ahead of our seaplane flight. The hotel also has someone at the airport to make sure that all of the guests get on their international flights without issue. I wish I could remember her name because she was incredibly helpful. Qatar Airlines could not find our reservation when we went to the desk to check in. We had booked our flight through American Airlines. The guy at the desk did not seem to care that without this flight, we would be stuck and would likely miss our two additional connecting flights. The Conrad employee jumped in and helped us put the American Airlines customer service person on the phone with the Qatar employee and honestly pushed us not to take no for an answer. She had clearly dealt with these issues in the past and helped us take charge of the situation. It all worked out and we made our flight. Having her there to help was a nice touch plus she was incredibly kind during a pretty stressful situation. Overall we had an amazing experience and wouldn’t change anything except planning ahead a bit more on our dinner reservations. It’s a wonderful resort in a beautiful setting.

All I can say is WOW! We came to the Conrad for our honeymoon and it was by far one of the most beautiful properties we have been to. It gives you the WOW factor of the Waldorf in Cabo, but in a different way. Arrival: Conrad will set up...

All I can say is WOW! We came to the Conrad for our honeymoon and it was by far one of the most beautiful properties we have been to. It gives you the WOW factor of the Waldorf in Cabo, but in a different way. Arrival: Conrad will set up your airplane arrival for you through TMA. I was nervous about taking the seaplane, but it was a smooth flight and effortless experience. Upon arrival a Conrad member will meet you, assist with luggage, and get you checked into TMA. We met some other couples who did get hit with the baggage fees for oversized bags, but we got lucky. We also flew in first class on Emirates, so not sure if this had something to do with that. Once we arrived to the Conrad the general manager and staff will meet you at the jetty. There is where we met our butler Naeem. We were greeted with fresh coconut water and were taken to our rooms via golf cart. Rooms: We stayed in the Grand Overwater villa and premier villa. -Grand Water Villa: The best rooms you can get are rooms 419 or 421 as these are at the end of the board walk which offers uninterrupted views (and no sight of neighbors). We were at 417, which was beautiful, but you could still see your neighbors from the deck and pool. These rooms are truly over water and not just off of the beach like of the other overwater villas. They have more of a tropical feel than the premier villa. These rooms are located on the family side and if you are at the far end it is a very far walk to get to the morning breakfast buffet. We did not mind the walk though to get some steps in before the day. The grand water villas with pool face sunset and are protected from wind. The ones with the hot tub face the opposite side and could be exposed to wind. You can walk out into the water for a very long distance with the water at your waist. We saw several sharks and a few rays from our room here. Housekeeping and turndown service was very consistent on this side. -Premier water villa: After speaking with the staff, it sounds like this room was originally built prior to the 2 bedroom Rangali Pavllion rooms. The ONLY downside to this room is that it connects to the only other premier water villa, which makes privacy an issue. We felt bad playing music on the Bose system as we were unsure if this would effect our neighbors. We did have neighbors next to us the whole time, while there is a divider, they are literally right next door to you as the patios connect as well and can be accessed through a latched door. This would be a great option if you were travelling with friends though. This is a newer room than the grand water villa and much more modern. It has a heated toilet, bidet, beautiful marble bathroom. The walk in closet was also something different from the grand water villa. I did get some inconsistencies with turn down service on this side, which is unfortunate as this was the more expensive of the 2 rooms. Small differences like the nightly sweets not being set out for us. However, one day we did return to a bubble bath drawn for us, which was a lovely touch. This room also faces towards the sunset, so you are protected from the wind as well and the water is by far the calmest on this side, wind or not. This room is located on the adults only side and the island has much more of a tropical feel to it. We were looking forward to walking down to the end of the island, however that beach is reserved for the 2 bedroom villas. -Picking between which room is better would be very hard. The premier is much more modern, but lacks some privacy. Food & Beverage: It is very strange to see which items are priced higher than others. For instance a basic ceaser wrap was around $40 and if you wanted a patron margarita that was close to $60 (instead of $27 for a jose cuervo margarita). If I recall Johnny walker blue was the best option for only $40. It was a bit shocking to see the tequila selection as well. For a luxury resort, I was not expecting their well tequila to be jose cuervo. The options for tequila were jose cuervo, patron, or ACDC tequila. Not the greatest options for a luxury resort, but I do understand the importation circumstances. For gin, whiskey, and vodka there is a much great selection. One thing I loved is that you can literally be barefoot your whole stay, even at the restaurants as almost all of the restaruants are in the sand. -The quiet zone: We spent most of our time here. While they do not have servers coming to each table, the staff is incredible here. Shout out to Aye and Shahid! By far some of the best bartenders we had. The gin and tonics are massive here and delicious! Try the Maldivian tuna sashimi! -Ufaa: This was our favorite when it came to the flavor and actual taste of food. For both lunch and dinner it was delicious. -Ithaa: We opted for visiting hour, which I think is really all you need. Friends told us the dinner was a 3 hour tasting, which may be a little too long for some. Small apps and 1 glass of champagne was offered. Would have like to have seen at least 1 more glass of champagne offered. -Sunset Grill: We tried the tomahawk steak and the way it was cooked was delicious. This was a newer item added to the menu as of recent per the staff. Only word of advise would be on the presentation. In the states we are used to having it be thinly sliced, spread out and laid under the bone for display. The cuts were filet sized cuts and they served my husband the fatty cap. For the price, would have expected this to have been perfected, but still cooked to perfection. -Mandhoo: Food was great, service was a little slow and there was a bit of a language barrier, but the manager there was awesome and made up for it. -Champagne and lobster dinner: If you are hungry hungry, this is a great all you can eat addition to your stay. It was bottomless champagne and a beautiful display of seafood. The live music was a great touch. -Vilu: Food was good and there is a really cute bar where you can relax with a cocktail beach side. Came here for happy hour which was nice. They also have an ala carte breakfast, but we thought the buffet had way more options. -Breakfast buffet; Honestly, this was probably the highlight of our food experiences. This buffet it massive and offers American, Chinese, Indian, Maldivian and various other types of breakfast foods. They have an omlette station and a fresh juicing station. -Manager's Cocktail Hour: Hilton Honor members (not sure of which status level) get invited to the manager's cocktail hour which has apps. and cocktails. It is a great way to meet the staff and mingle. The staff is incredibly welcoming. We made friends with several staff members and learned so much about their backgrounds from all corners of the world. The general manager will be sure to welcome you and inquire about your stay. You can tell he truly cares about your feedback as well. Spa: My husband and I had a couples massage at the spa and it was one of the best massages I have ever had. I had Marcel as my massage therapist and she was very thorough. She offered stretching at the end as well. The overwater spa rooms are beautiful as well....can't miss out on the open air toilet! Excursions & water sports: We were very grateful to have joined friends on the private yacht to swim with whale sharks. Our snorkel guide made sure we were ready to go once a whale shark was spotted. Once out in the ocean you are competing with other tour groups to swim with the whale sharks, but the team at Conrad was actually able to get us 10-15 mins alone with one. I was worried about jumping into the deep ocean, but the water is crystal clear and still rather shallow. I believe we got to swim with 3 different whale sharks. I chickened out on the first jump, but the snorkel/dive instructor took my hand and made me feel as ease the second time around. While we did not go fishing, our friends made it back with a great catch, which the chef at Rangli Bar prepared deliciously for lunch. -Paddle boards: Paddle boards are free and a great option for any time of the day, you can actually take the paddle boards all the way to the opposite island. There did not seem to be much of a current either. You can rent snorkel gear upon check in and keep them with you until departure. This was a nice touch to be able to throw on your gear and snorkel around your villa. House Reef: Due to the rising temps of the water, the coral bleached about 6 months prior to our arrival in February. We were told that the coral was making a healthy turn around and we did get to see some live corals returning. There is an abundance of fish from trigger fish, angel fish, tangs, puffers, I believe I saw some clown fish, black tip reef sharks, rays, and turtles. Neither my husband or I saw the turtles, but the lifeguard guided us where we could likely see them. Try to plan accordingly with the wind, this side of the island was exposed to the wind the days we were there, so it was a bit choppy. Gounds: The ground are immaculately kept. In the morning and throughout the day, the grounds keepers are sweeping the sand and keeping things very clean. The resort is made up of 3 islands, the adult side, family side, and the staff side. It is massive and you can get quiet a few steps in. There are certain parts of the islands where you can literally dive into the ocean from the beach or walk out several hundred feet. We met several people who said this resort was far superior to the Conrad Bora Bora. I cannot imagine how you can go up from here. The water is crystal clear. One thing that was very nice to hear about was the conditions of the staff island. While we did not go over there, we were told about how they have one of the best football stadiums (they compete against other resorts in various sports) and their own bar on the other side. They also are fortunate to have a colony of nurse sharks that call come to their beaches. We heard that a lot of Maldivian resorts do not have private areas for their staff and that staff are often situated in the middle of the islands exposed to hotel guests. It was very nice hearing about their accommodations. The staff: The staff truly make this experience unforgettable. Take some time to get to talk to them an know them. We met people from Singapore, India, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Myanmar, Thailand, Philippines, all over. Some over them have been there since the opening of the resort. The Conrad also offers them wonderful travel benefits and many have been able to travel all over the world, some share truly incredible stories. Butler Service: You are assigned a butler upon arrival, be sure to download Whatsapp for quick communication. We were able to make reservations and ask questions throughout the day as needed. We also got locked out of our villa one day and were able to ask for assistance this was as well. Departure: Conrad will arrange your TMA flight for departure based off of your outbound international flight. You will get this a day or 2 prior to leaving. Naeem arranged for our luggage pick up and our pick up, ensuring we had time to eat prior to leaving. The Maldives has been on my bucket list for a while, we went back and forth between here and the Waldorf Astoria. My husband like super modern ultra luxury, so I think the Waldorf would have been more of his style. He loved the premier villa as this was very updated and modern. The island gives you a tropical luxurious feel. You do not need to be over the top dressed up for dinners and can go without packing shoes. I loved that about this place too. You truly feel transported to a slice of heaven where you can disconnect. On that note though, the wifi works very well. We would go back in a heartbeat. Thank you so much to the staff from the grounds keepers, housekeepers, waiters, bartenders, butlers, and GM who made this all a once in a life time unforgettable experience. We will be back for sure!

We have been going to the Maldives for the last 4 years, staying at different resorts. We decided to go to the Conrad and booked their grand water villa with pool for 10 days. We had a few issues with our room and our butler (Erika), Thomas Hoeborn the resort manager rectified the issue and as an apology he upgraded us. We don’t like to make a big fuss, especially as we like to go away and relax due to the demand of owning multi businesses. But on this occasion we had to say something. I can honestly say he truly was amazing and his customer service in taking care of his guests were second to none. Thank you once again, Thomas! The island is clean and well kept, staff were amazing on both islands. Although there was one really rude and obnoxious staff called Shark that I believe was the manager at the restaurant on the quiet island. One day I thought I would try the gym on this island and go for breakfast. I finished my workout and headed to the restaurant, Shark then refused to give me a table as I wasn’t allowed to wear my gym clothes at breakfast. I questioned him about this and told him this isn’t a problem on the main island restaurant. But he wasn’t budging and I didn’t come on a relaxed holiday to be arguing with someone useless. I then left very disappointed and humiliated - never went back to that restaurant again! I just stuck with the main restaurant that served breakfast and staff were very welcoming! There were a few staff that went above and beyond throughout our stay, I would like to thank Backura, Ivan, Mutheen and Rooman for making our stay extra special. I would recommend the undersea restaurant for the experience. Dwayne was a great host! Our favourite restaurants have got to be UFAA and the Sunset Grill. Overall a great holiday, It would have been a 5 star given the issues but the Shark situation was not pleasant at all! Suggestions: The island is really big, so bikes for guest would be amazing and refurb the water villas as they are looking tired.

Overall, we had a fantastic experience here. Our honeymoon expectations were met. We got the sunrise over water bungalow and the view was to die for. We thought it was going to be sitting on top of the water but it was more of a beach side over water. We learned that many people preferred this, and first weren't seeing the appeal, but quickly realized how nice it was to have the beach behind us and the ocean in front. Seeing so much crabs on the beach and sharks in the water every morning was the many highlights of our day. (Right from our toilet!) We got lucky and got the room in the edge so only had one neighbor on one side. Breakfast buffet was fantastic and if it gets old you can switch it up and head to Vilu for breakfast. Cocktail visiting hour at Ithaa under the sea is highly recommended. We had such a great time me and if worth the $125+ per person versus lunch or dinner. House reef was nice and had plenty of fishes for us to snorkel with. We saw sharks, manta rays, sting rays, and such a variety of fish. The coral life leaves something to be desired. I hope people are more conscious about their interactions as I witnessed some coral killers just standing on and stepping on the coral :( Remember, it's their house, we are guests. We never missed a Hilton honors happy hour and made some great friends. The canapes were usually delicious and the staff was good about taking care of us. We usually could get at least 3 rounds in. People that stood out: Our host Shmack was always in communication with us. Our housekeeper Mohammed was kind and intuitive to our needs. Kosy from Atoll ALWAYS with a smile and warmth every morning and checked in on us. My husband quickly said, this position is a waste of talent for him. The staff needs to be trained by him. Our room was amazing, food was great, albeit pricey, but we are in the middle of the ocean, so no real complaints. Just wished the beach was smoother, but not much they can do. I would recommend water shoes as the shells and coral sometimes hurt. Grabbing a buggy seemed inconvenient at first, but they come pretty fast. You can call your host to arrange or the front desk. We also took the Dhoni (taxi boat) on the last day and it was funner than the buggy. They only operate during breakfast, happy hour, & dinner. Also, the private lounge prior to getting on the seaplane was really nice. Conrad had their own exclusive lounge and it wasn't shared it with other resorts.

We really enjoyed our second stay at the Conrad Rangali Island, Maldives. The Resort and food was excellent, but on this occasion we want to concentrate on the staff and the Maldivian people. We had one of the nicest, genuine and thankful host in Khaleel, nothing was to much trouble, his communication was high, he was never late and showed kindness, compassion, gratitude and thoughtfulness throughout our stay, thank you Khaleel. We also had the pleasure to meet and share a drink with the extremely hard working Hotel Manager Akshat, a great guy, full of positivity about the resort and keen to hear the feedback from guests. We had no negatives at all, just complimenting the team, which he appreciated. The Maldivian night was fabulous, ran by the inspiring Abdulah who is a real superstar, from start to finish he made us feel special and we are very grateful for that. We loved every breakfast in the vilu restaurant, the staff are just amazing, we also had two lovely meals here. Many thanks to the whole team especially Hussain, Ahmed and Zaadh - you are all special. The sunset grill was fantastic, the manager superb, they were always so busy I forgot to write the team’s names down - sorry, you know who you are and you are fabulous. We also loved the bars. But this is all about the wonderful 500 staff on this island, thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. We will return.

Had a fantastic week at Conrad Rangali, our first time in the Maldives. From the moment you arrive it is just perfect. We had a deluxe beach villa with pool which was superb - you could not fault it. All the restaurants were great, especially the under sea restaurant with tasting menu - a night we will never forget ! The sea, sand and skies just so perfect - the photos just don’t do it justice. We enjoyed all the restaurants and bar area. DJ Willy was awesome and played great music to our taste throughout the holiday. This was the first of a two stop holiday in the Maldives and we genuinely didn’t want to leave. The second week we stayed at Milaidhoo which was very different but equally as good and unforgettable. Can’t wait to go back soon !

We had an unforgettable experience at Conrad Maldives last week and would love to express our gratitude to the incredible team who made our trip so special. A heartfelt thank you to Akshat, the property manager, and Niyaz for ensuring our stay was comfortable. Olga, your thoughtful birthday wishes made the day even more special. Hadisul, your delicious Indian cuisine was a highlight—we miss the food so much that we already want to return! Kosi, your breakfast jokes will be dearly missed. Ali, your photography skills are amazing, and we’re so grateful for the wonderful pictures. Shahid at the Quiet Bar, your coffee was simply the best. We loved everything about our stay at The Conrad. The staff were warm and welcoming, the food options were plentiful and delicious, and the bed was to die for! Our sunrise over-water villa felt so secluded and private, and we loved the messages and happy birthday wishes that decorated our bed over the course of our stay. Meals were super delicious...Everyone is super courteous and friendly. The India chef was so hospitable that he prepared a custom order of Indian dishes for me and my husband. And it was super delicious. With Nan bread and all. The doc on site was very helpful as we had some cough and went to visit him. He gave us some supplements and cough drops that helped immensely. A day before last we were about to check out and I finally visited the spa to get a hair washed and there I met Dr. Sekhar Ayurvedic Doc, the most wonderful, experienced and educated in his field. I was experiencing some jetlag and he immediately diagnosed my problem and said if I have some time eh would like to give me a therapeutic message that will help me deal with the flue like symptoms and lethargy I was experiencing. So I went for the message and felt really relaxed. He said that I would really need this message regularly for maintenance. He also recommended few ayurvedic message oils and a tonic that I should buy to take it home to USA and consume on daily basis. But my trip being very short and hectic I wasn't able to buy them and bring it back with me. I would like to try his treatment he recommended in the near future. To see if I do get some relief form something I have been struggling with since childhood. Not many people know about his ancient science of Ayurveda nd its benefits. I would urge for the guest staying at Conrad to visit the spa and meet Dr. Sekhar. You will learn about yourself and your body. He is an institution in himself. Please explore the possibilities waiting for you.. Thank You Dr. Sekhar. It was an honor and pleasure meeting you..I look forward to keeping i touch with you via text messages. Will also update if I do get relief some from his recommended regime, and will post my progress. All and all very good experience. We loved everything about our stay at The Conrad. The staff were warm and welcoming, the food options were plentiful and delicious, and the bed was to die for! Our sunrise over-water villa felt so secluded and private, and we loved the messages and happy birthday wishes that decorated our bed over the course of our stay. The beaches were so soft and the snorkeling proved to be both fun and satisfying because there were so many different types of fish and sea life. We got our advanced open water diving certifications while we were there and I need to give a huge shout-out to Madoo at the dive shop who worked with us nearly every day to ensure we learned and enjoyed our new diving capabilities. He made us feel relaxed and confident, and I've never felt so safe when diving. The whole week was perfect and every day we saw something new like whale sharks one day and huge manta rays another day and turtles and sharks another day. The Conrad staff always made us feel like we were celebrities and I'll never forget this magical place. We hope to return one day very soon.

Amazing experience! A unique property located on two natural islands with lavish nature, pristine beaches which gave us both a feeling of privacy and a wide range of activities( snorkeling, kayaking, fishing, etc). We enjoyed dining in a number of restaurants (in total there are 12 to choose from) with different cuisines and flavors and experiences. Special thanks to Conrad Lounge staff at the Male airport, especially to their host Afrah, who warmly greeted us and assisted us as we departed from the airport. We were lucky to have Naeem and Niyaz as our hosts who made our stay comfortable and relaxing. To be frank, all the members of staff were very friendly and we felt welcomed at any facility and every single spot. Thank you a lot! Looking forward to coming back!

As anyone that follows our reviews knows, we have visited the Conrad Maldives a lot of times, fifteen in total so in this review I will focus on what is new. All the previous, great people, great service, great views, expansive scope and scale of accommodation hold true. From arrival to departure you are cared for at every moment. New for us this year, was to be there for New Year’s Eve which was great. A champagne reception on one island for all guests was followed by a massive food selection back on the main island. Every possible food option was covered, lobster, fish, meat and my favourite a superb seafood chowder. All self-serve so you can assemble your own personal feasts! Entertainment ran from about 8pm until well after midnight and at midnight there was a great firework display. We may not go every year for this as we are UK based and our families are in UK but will certainly want to visit again for this. For those with Hilton status the free afternoon tea has made a welcome return and was well done, the free evening cocktails have moved to Rhanghali and are later so more of an after-dinner option. Great to dine at Sunset and then follow up with a free cocktail. We also had a great wine experience at Mandoo where they have a special bottle of sparking rose wine that you have to open under water. Tell Shark (the manager) we sent you and he will explain more! We did have mixed weather in that a cyclone was causing grief near Sri Lanka but that was only two poor days and there was enough, given how expansive the Conrad is, to keep us busy. My wife does like the Over Water Spa a lot! Our original plan has been to relocate the coral line we planted two years ago onto the reef but there had been a bleaching event late 2024 and some pieces had died and the rest were moved by the marine biologists early to keep them safe. Not to be down hearted we placed a brand-new coral line – number 55- and will hope that will grow and we can check on it in 2026 and plant it in 2027. Even if you don’t want to plant it yourself I would urge fellow guests to consider supporting this by going to the dive centre and asking the marine biologists how to.

We spent our honeymoon at the Conrad Rangali and we loved every single moment. We stayed four nights at a Water Front Villa and one night at a Beach Front Villa. Both Villas have their own charm. The tropical climate at Conrad Rangali was warm and was perfect for a winter's stay. The staff was very kind, courteous, and gentle, and we already miss our favorite resort. Will gladly return for our next anniversary trip. Fasi, Ali, Nafi, Puri, Najah, and Mr. Shark -- thank you!

If we could give this resort 10 stars, the rating would fit the stay. We can't think of one aspect which was disappointing during our stay. We stayed in a Deluxe Overwater Villa with a pool and the accomodations were beautiful. The air-conditioning worked great, the bed was very comfortable, the water in the shower and sink was very hot, and the lounge chairs on the deck were wonderful to sit, relax, and enjoy the ocean view. Every meal we had in the restaurants was excellent. We were able to order our food the way we like it and they served it the way we wanted it. One evening the pizza I ordered from Villa restaurant came to the table incorrectly. The chef personally came to the table and asked how I would like it, and he re-made the pizza to perfection. My wife and I had spa treatments on two different days. Both times, the receptionist and therapists were all willing to do whatever it took to make sure we had a great experience at their spa. The best part of the resort, and our stay, were the people. Everyone from the General Manager, Thomas Hoeborn (who we were lucky enough to meet) , to the Guest Relations Manager, Olga, to one of the wait staff at the restaurant, Ali....were so very friendly and helpful. We must say Olga, in particular, was one of the warmest, genuine, and dedicated person you could meet anywhere in the world. Whatever we needed and asked for during our stay at the Conrad Rangali, she did whatever she could to make sure we were happy. If you're considering a vacation in the Maldives, stay at the Conrad Rangali. You could not ask for a better place. Simply cannot say enough about it.
