Ayada Maldives

Feeling spoilt again after another week at this beautiful resort . We stayed in the Sunset Lagoon Suite with pool providing us with direct ocean access and an amazing outdoor bathroom with garden. Food and beverage was excellent as was the great value Spa . The surf team of Fish and Kelly managed to put us in the best waves available every day . Definitely planning to return next year.

Our recent 10-day stay at Ayada Maldives was truly memorable. We arrived by boat after spending 10 days at Halcyon, and the first thing that struck us was the incredibly clear, bright blue water and the dazzling white sand — so intense it was almost blinding. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed and given a tour by our butler before being escorted to our beach villa with a private pool. The villa itself was somewhat smaller and closer to the neighbouring villa compared to rooms we’ve experienced in other resorts, but its location directly on one of the most stunning beaches we’ve ever seen more than made up for it. The house reef was beautiful and offered great snorkeling opportunities. At low tide, it can be quite shallow, so you need to be careful when swimming over the diverse coral, but the underwater life is absolutely worth it. One of the highlights of our stay was a private island excursion, where we enjoyed a delicious picnic. These untouched islands do face the challenge of plastic washing ashore, but the staff had clearly made a great effort to clean it up. It truly gave us a Robinson Crusoe feeling for a few hours, although the reef there was slightly disappointing compared to Ayada’s. What really sets Ayada apart is the food and the people. The main restaurant offered an impressive variety every day, with live cooking stations and beautifully presented dishes. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive — nothing was ever too much to ask. Whether it was a special breakfast request or a particular fruit, everything was arranged with a smile. The spa experience was also outstanding. We booked four massages each during our stay, and Sugi, Lin, and Diane pampered us with incredible skill and care. Finishing with Coco’s ice cream afterwards was the perfect touch. There were just a few minor downsides. We missed having a padel court — Ayada offers many sports and activities, but unfortunately no padel yet (hopefully in the future!). Water at the table was charged, although still water in the room was complimentary. The use of bicycles was very convenient, but we understood they may come at an extra cost if you don’t book your stay directly through the resort. Our villa was kept impeccably clean by our always-smiling housekeeper Nasrin, seeing him instantly lifted our mood. We would also like to give a special thank you to Tulsi, the chef who prepared our delicious breakfasts and always took time for a friendly chat, and Koya, the kind waiter who made sure we had our favorite table and even anticipated our orders. The resort is beautifully maintained and offers a truly relaxing atmosphere. If Ayada ever adds a padel court, we will definitely return 😎!

Our recent 2-day escape to Ayada Maldives was nothing short of exceptional. The property itself is breathtaking, offering a perfect balance of natural beauty, privacy, and refined luxury. What truly elevated our experience was the impeccable level of service. Our butler, Affan, was outstanding, effortlessly attentive, intuitive, and always ensuring that every aspect of our stay was perfectly handled. Equally commendable was Rasih at Magu Restaurant. His consistency, warmth, and professionalism during each of our dining experiences added a very personal touch to our stay. A subtle yet meaningful detail we truly appreciated was from the housekeeping team. Although we kept our villa on DND throughout the stay and never met them, they consistently placed water outside our villa every day, a thoughtful gesture that did not go unnoticed. Ayada delivers not just a stay, but a complete experience defined by genuine hospitality and attention to detail. We leave with nothing but great memories.

We transferred by speedboat from Park Hyatt Hadahaa to Ayada, an easy forty-minute journey in calm waters. After a useful island tour by buggy, we arrived at our room for check-in. Although we had booked and paid for a Sunset Ocean Suite, we were assigned a Family Ocean Suite 👎 - instead an indoor living room as a couple, were given a second bedroom with twin beds for (non-existent) children. We explained that we were unhappy with that set up and that we had paid for a Sunset Ocean Suite with a living room, but Ayada thought that the Family suite, closer to the reef drop-off was better (because we had asked to be near the reef). Straightaway we emailed our travel agent, Amit at Simply Maldives, and within a few hours we were moved next door to a Sunset Ocean Suite with the requisite living area and an absolutely perfect outdoor deck with amazing ocean views ☺️ The Sunset Ocean Suite was fabulous - and not only because of the huge, well-designed outdoor deck. Ayada's furnishings were less upscale, but the suite's luxury of size and thoughtful design compensated for the less luxe finishes, although visitors searching for a more elevated or opulent resort style may find the fittings a little worn (that didn’t bother us because everything worked effectively and was very comfortable ☺️). The main bathroom is generous and features atmospheric candles placed alongside the huge oval bath, which comes with generous quantities of bath salts, foam and a loofah, as well as beautiful ocean views across the deck. The indoor shower benefits from strong air conditioning but also has the option of opening glass doors overlooking the water - with effective privacy screens - if you enjoy the feeling of showering outdoors. Looking at room photos before arrival, I had thought the little makeup table looked a bit chichi - in real life it's pretty and practical. Bathroom shelving is generous. The lounge area was very comfortable and came into its own during the one hour in late afternoon when the sun made the deck uncomfortably hot. We also used the automatic blackout blinds at that time to keep the room cooler, along with the powerful separate air conditioning in each of the three rooms. Ayada's app is impressively comprehensive (very occasionally hit-and-miss). Through it you can order in-room dining and browse each of the many venues' food and beverage menus and opening hours. You can also arrange for many other useful services. Every day (and each evening while we were at dinner) our housekeeper Saeed meticulously cleaned or refreshed our room, providing ample towels and other thoughtful touches, always checking in with us that we were happy. In the evening he delivered various sweet treats (passionfruit Turkish delights and coconut chocolates among them). He was the best housekeeper we have ever experienced in the Maldives or elsewhere, and I don’t think we will ever forget that 💙💙💙 We were on the Diamond AI package which was FABULOUS, including almost all our meals and drinks as well as minibar, two massages per room and four excursions per room (it excluded in-room dining and some special events). We appreciated some of the best food and drinks of our Maldives trip and particularly enjoyed the diversity and consistent high quality at Ayada's multiple venues. Magu is the breakfast restaurant and its executive chef Tulsi was engaging and visible — I appreciated the generous serve of delicious mangosteens that he arranged. We hugely enjoyed the Seasalt Beach BBQ and fire show with its fun and drama (despite the extra cost). The sunset cooperated to contribute to a dazzling evening meal. During our many island snorkels, we swam with surgeon fish, small schools of parrot fish and oriental sweetlips, saw whitetip and blacktip sharks, rays and anemone fish amongst several patches of purple Magnificent Sea Anemones. We revelled in the beautiful coral and lively reef. We experienced stunning weather, glorious snorkelling, expansive ocean views, and charming, proactive staff — the impressive island manager, Craig, is doing a fantastic job — altogether, an exceptional stay!

Our stay at Ayada Maldives was truly exceptional. The location is simply breathtaking, with paradise-like scenery everywhere you look — crystal-clear water, beautiful beaches, and an incredibly peaceful atmosphere. What makes this resort particularly special is its high-end luxury atmosphere combined with genuinely warm hospitality: the service is absolutely 5-star, yet never cold or overly formal. The rooms are extremely well equipped, beautifully designed, and offer outstanding comfort. Everything is carefully thought through to make the stay effortless and relaxing. The value for money is excellent considering the very high standard of service, the quality of the facilities, and the incredible food, which exceeded our expectations throughout the stay. A special mention for the kids club, which was fantastic. The activities offered were varied and very well organized, and Nisha and Sophia were absolutely wonderful with the children — caring, engaging, and truly exceptional. Cleanliness was impeccable throughout the entire resort, both in the rooms and in all common areas. The hotel is remarkably quiet, with excellent room insulation, which adds to the feeling of serenity. Finally, a very special thank you to our butler Ali, who always responded to our needs immediately and often went beyond expectations to make our stay even more memorable.

We stayed at Ayada Resort, and it was truly a beautiful and outstanding experience from start to finish. The resort itself is stunning, with breath-taking views and a peaceful atmosphere that makes you feel completely relaxed the moment you arrive. The service was excellent, and every staff member was friendly, professional, and attentive. The food was absolutely mouth-watering, with a wide variety of delicious options that exceeded our expectations every day. We had the opportunity to experience two categories of villas: the Beach Villa and the Ocean Villa. Both villas were amazing in their own way and offered unique experiences. The Beach Villa gave us direct access to the sand and a very natural island feel, while the Ocean Villa provided incredible views and a truly luxurious over-water experience. A special thank you to our butler, Dev, who made our stay even more memorable. He was extremely kind, always happy to help, and available at any time, no matter the request. His dedication and positive attitude made us feel very well taken care of throughout our stay. We truly miss this beautiful place and the wonderful memories we made there. We would highly recommend Ayada Resort to our friends and families, and we hope to return again in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at Ayada Maldives, staying in Villa 228 and Villa 502. Everything about our experience was exceptional. We enjoyed dinner at Magu Restaurant, where both the food quality and service were excellent. Our wedding ceremony was beautifully organized and truly memorable, and the honeymoon dinner was absolutely fantastic and very romantic. A special thank you to our butler Dev, who was excellent, proactive, and always attentive to our needs. His service made our stay even more special and stress-free. Overall, an unforgettable experience, and we highly recommend Ayada Maldives for couples, weddings, and honeymoon stays.

This is my first time in the Maldives. I chose the farthest island, and it’s been perfect—totally lived up to my expectations! The island is so natural, and we often see small animals like lizards and bats. I really love the room style at Ayada Maldives, and our butler Ali has given us such great service and an amazing experience. Thank you again for your wonderful service, Ali.

Our stay at Ayada Maldives was absolutely wonderful and truly close to perfect. First of all, the island itself is stunning. It is large, lush, and beautifully maintained, with powder-white sand beaches and breathtaking shades of blue in the lagoon and ocean. The island feels very natural and spacious, never crowded, which makes it ideal for a relaxing and peaceful holiday. The villa experience was excellent. The villa was very spacious, private, and impeccably clean, with comfortable bedding and well-designed indoor and outdoor areas. Everything was thoughtfully arranged, and coming back to a perfectly prepared room each day was a real pleasure. Dining was another highlight of our stay. The quality across all restaurants was consistently high, with a good variety of cuisines. Both the buffet and the specialty restaurants offered fresh, well-prepared dishes, and even after several days, the dining experience never felt repetitive. What truly made our stay special was the service. Our personal butler, Malik, was exceptional—professional, attentive, and genuinely caring. From arrival to departure, he made sure everything was seamless and stress-free. The entire staff on the island was warm, friendly, and respectful, always ready to help while maintaining a perfect balance of privacy. We stayed in an overwater villa with a pool - couldn’t have made a better choice! Everything about our stay was absolutely perfect. From the stunning atmosphere and impeccable cleanliness to every little detail — it was truly exceptional. As for the food, I’ve never eaten better anywhere!
