I just got engaged there a few days ago and they catered for EVERYTHING. It was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. staff was so nice, we got a lot of goodies and we were so pampered. the hotel is designed in a way that you can always contact staff easily even at the beach or the pool you just have to press the button on the umbrella poles and someone comes to you. the four pools are very well regulated and cleaned, I did not get my usual eczema flare ups due to chlorine. The food was the best, everything was perfectly seasoned, shoutout to the chef who did the You and Me romantic dinner, bless his expertise. The view is picturesque from all angles. The room was beautiful, clean and very comfortable. This hotel is THE place to be. No kids, Eco friendly, very cozy and private. Big thank you to the paradise cove team for making such an important event so magical.

A lovely relaxing stay with attentive staff helping make this a wonderful holiday. From the moment we arrived, the reception team were great - Yashna, Melisha and colleagues. The food was excellent - thanks to Chef Babbo and his team. All contributed to make this a nice, relaxing stay

Incredibly beautiful small and cozy resort with lots of opportunities for both private relaxation in the area's various lodgings and get-away spots or mingling in the social spaces. Absolutely wonderful staff, great food and service at all the restaurants and a lovely bar where everyone smiles.

What a great stay in an amazing hotel in a beautiful setting. The staff were excellent and very attentive. We opted for a nice room on the all inclusive package. Whilst that is an expensive option, by not doing it could easily become more costly as it isn’t cheap. But, as the saying goes ‘you pay for what you get’. It was the friendly attentive staff giving the personal touch. They remembered our names , room number and preferences for drinks and the extra little chilli sauce that my husband loved. A truly outstanding hotel and setting that is clearly very well run. Congratulations to the whole team and thank you for a truly memorable stay.

We are still half way through our holiday, and we returned this year for our second visit to the hotel. We will probably return every February as this place is the ultimate chill out place. Our room is fantastic, room 802 has a perfect view of the cove from the room. The rooms are clean and luxurious and well kept by the staff. There are 3 pools with plenty of sun lounger space. All of which you can order drinks from your sun lounger by pressing the ring button by the beds. Staff usually respond pretty quickly so there is no need to move, everything is brought to you. The cove, is stunning and nice to swim in. There are beach hits surrounding the cove which are fantastic to chill in. You can also be served drinks here. The food is plentiful, tons of options and amazing. The XO restaurant is exceptional if you like sushi. The best experience of the holiday was the Catamaran trip. The two gentleman captaining the boat went above and beyond to ensure our party was well looked after. If you like luxury, good service and a stunning place, look no further.

Healthy hearty foods 😍😍😍 As mentioned above everyone were so so nice to us but the people who marked our hearts were Tanisha, Dev, Sandhya, Tulsi. Thank you guys for making our stay even more comfortable 🫶🏼 And yes! They surprised us with a cute chocolate cake. So decadent I swear ✨ paradise cove is now in my favorite vacation spot. We had decided to end our fantastic holiday traveling around South Africa with a week of relaxation at the this wonderful boutique hotel set overlooking a coral reef in the Indian Ocean. From the minute that we were greeted we knew we were in the hands of luxury. We chose to go all inclusive for the first time and weren’t disappointed with the quality of the food and wine. The service throughout the hotel was exceptional from a very happy team. We couldn’t have asked for anything more.

A truly magical experience and well named. The staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble, always ready to help. The food was excellent with a choice of restaurants to choose from. We enjoyed it so much we are returning in October. I can’t wait.

We stayed at Paradise Cove on our honeymoon and had the most wonderful stay. The hotel itself is stunning, with a number of beautiful pool areas and plenty of private spaces to relax in. The restaurants are fantastic, the quality and variety of food is great and the service is exceptional. The thing that really makes this hotel, along with the location, are the staff who go above and beyond and are so friendly, whilst at the same time giving space and encouraging you to have a truly relaxing stay. We were upgraded to a junior suite which was very spacious and had a lovely terrace overlooking the cove. There were a number of other things added in to make our honeymoon extra special, and those extra touches were really appreciated. We had massages at the spa as well which was a highlight, a really beautiful and secluded spot for some pampering. During our stay the island was celebrating Independence Day and the hotel put on a beach party with a flag raising ceremony, traditional sega dancing and cocktails - plus a Mauritian themed buffet for dinner which was a great experience. It was a great moment which all of the staff and guests enjoyed together. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to other couples looking for a relaxing stay on Mauritius and we hope we will be able to return again in the future.

I am surprised I have rated this hotel as a 3, my expectations were high, the Tripadvisor reviews are 5 out of 5 with some truly amazing feedback on social media so we assumed this would be a great choice. We are familiar guests of The Small Luxury Hotels group, so again our expectation was high. We travel the World all year round and have stayed in some of the Worlds best hotels and experienced some wonderful delights, we knew Mauritius can not compete with Dubai and Asia luxury’s so our expectation was high but only for an experience Mauritius standard we have had at other hotels here. This was our 5th visit to Mauritius, and having stayed in other 5* hotels on the island, this time we decided an adults only experience would be perhaps a step more luxurious and just be with other like minded adult guests and have no children in sight and enjoy some time together in what is called Paradise Cove. Overall, yes the hotel is in a lovely setting, multiple pools, multiple restaurants and bars and a very romantic place to spend some time and relax. Our experience, however, was that this hotel is struggling and in our personal view being well seasoned international luxury travellers, this hotel did not meet our expectations of a 5* hotel in Mauritius. The overall appearance of the hotel is that it is dirty, dated and not built very well to enable to the staff to look after the spaces. The pool areas are hard stone slabs to walk on, dirty ground before entering a pool and exiting. The bedroom entrance is actually really ugly at the back but the guests have to use this. It's an old concrete staircase to climb to our 2nd floor bedroom, stairs are wet, dirty, dangerous, unattractive, boring just a horrible way to get to your 5* bedroom. The staff, we would say seemed to be very lazy, they did to seem to be very enthusiastic in the job. We did not receive any type of service that we would call personal or above and beyond like so many other guests have apparently experienced. It felt a bit low to be honest almost sad to watch, and during the entire 7 days we did not see any management do the rounds checking areas/staff and checking in with guests. It was all a bit like, leave the guests alone, just serve them food and water and don’t say or do anything else. Amazingly we were hardly ever asked if we wanted a drink, it made us feel like perhaps we shouldn’t be drinking wine at dinner time. Odd way for hotel to make any extra money. The basics failed. Our room was never serviced before lunch time the entire 7 days. On the first 3 days we called reception for our room to be cleaned, which would usually flag alarm bells to the reception team and management on the first call not never happen again but it did not. We gave up asking after 3 times. Once we recognised very early on in the stay this hotel was not quite up to our usual standards we gave up calling and just allowed the room to be cleaned at some point before 2pm. Turn down sometimes happened sometimes not, again we called reception a few times but then we got bored of asking every night so again gave up. No excuse other than really bad hotel management and no control over the housekeeping department. Room cleanliness. We understand Mauritius and its weather conditions. Hotel rooms are not as clean as you would find in a luxury Dubai of Asia hotel. However, what we found was very dirty floor the entire stay, dust everywhere, ant nests in the bathroom, a really basic mini bar, no coffee machine (the year is 2025 guys) dirty clothes hanging space, minimal towels. When we checked in the bathroom sink was leaking a huge puddle on the floor yet somehow housekeeping did not notice? Also the phone did not work so we had to walkto reception to tell them. This was all fixed very quickly while we went for dinner, so we thought perhaps give the hotel some time and we’ll see how it goes but our alarm bells were going off and deep down we knew this hotel was no good. When we witnessed the housekeeping team, it all made sense to us where we were staying. Staff dragging there feet around with a basic broom, no pace to the work, no love to make it all look wonderful, no leadership or direction. No wonder the bedroom was filthy, the tools the staff had made it impossible. One night, we had the sounds of metal steel being cut right outside our bedroom and everyone else bedrooms really (photo attached this is at the bottom of the bedroom staircase). They were building some new decking around a pool, and somehow the hotel management must have decided it was acceptable to cut the metal outside the guest bedrooms at 10pm at night. Unbelievable, now remember other guest reviews are 5* apparently. Maybe we are in the wrong and this is normal. We telephoned reception and got the usual un-interested reception girl, not really understanding what we were describing. She said she would look into it, but the noise continued another hour into the dark night. We gave up knowing the staff and management here are useless and no point pursuing. Restaurants, yes its ok. We dined in all the restaurants, compared to other hotels in Mauritius we found the dinner buffet food overall a bit bland, lots of stew type dishes really, meat/fish/rice, we never found any green vegetables which was a disappointment because we like to eat healthy, most dishes were what the British would call ‘stodgy’ I feel rude saying it but my honest feed back on the food was its boring for a 5* holiday. Themed nights I guess the food was different but overall it was the same experience, bland and boring no atmosphere no memorable food or service ever, just a very unforgettable dinner experiences really surrounded by bored staff and what we saw other bored guests. Again, the food gets flying reviews on this platform so we were surprised with what we found which was really best described as good home cooking rather than chefs showing off their creative skills. We tried the other restaurants all be it difficult to book as firstly they have small seating areas, and secondly seemed like the other guests had been allowed to book it all up so no space for any new guests, great work reception, how to make a new guest feel welcome. Once we asked to book the Peninsula restaurant, the reception girl just said ‘let me check... no fully booked’. No, sorry Sir that’s fully booked tonight, how about tomorrow, just... ’no fully booked’ staring at us hoping that we’d leave. HaHa, terrible staff training on the reception desk. Even booking a tennis court and collecting the rackets seemed to take an age. NOstaff training is 100% confirmed here at Paradise Cove. Yes restaurants XO and Peninsula provide a la carte menu. Sorry but again we didn’t have anything in either which we remember, again just nicely cooked food but not great. Example, I ordered a lamb dish, it came out well done, presentation was good for Mauritius but not international level. Flavour, can’t remember says it all. The red meat on all menu’s was tough, in the dining room buffet we also experienced bones and cartilage in the chicken and beef dishes. No doubt a manger will respond to this review saying we should have said something but by this time we had lost interest and just focused on our time away and was being very selective with what we ate. I have a seafood allergy, despite the hotel being informed, I found it very difficult to be certain what I was eating on the buffet, labels were either missing or when I asked a member of staff either their English was bad of they simply did not know either. Outside pool service, again people have incredible reviews about this on Tripadvisor. What we experienced and witnessed other guests receive was slow and bad service around the pools. They have call buttons on each sun bed area so great! But only if someone comes. Basically seemed like there was only ever one man working drink and food orders for 2 pool areas and the beach, impossible for him to perform his job. We always ordered drinks, cocktails and water here and every-time the waiter would turn up with no glasses for the water, no ice. Painful to watch him walk miles back to the bar to get the obvious drinking tools. In the pool we spoke with other guests and we were some what glad to hear it wasn’t just us thinking this hotel is not that great. We were thinking, have we travelled so much and fined dined that we have surpassed the 5* resort hotel listed as a Small Luxury Hotel in exotic Mauritius. I don’t think so. I also had a spa treatment. The treatment was good, but again the same staff experience happened like everywhere, best way to describe is, like they just ignored me really. 3 girls working at the desk all sat down in the guest chairs, chatting amongst themselves. I walk in, just ignored. Weird service, like no guest relations training, just ‘you’re here for a massage lets get on with it’. Its Mauritius not Turkey!!! Management to blame, the staff were too young. They were left on there own not fully knowing what the job is and what type of guests they are going to encounter. As we recognised the hotel was not our cup of tea early on we instead used it to continue our daily fitness regime. We used the gym and tennis courts daily which were surprisingly good. I don’t think the gym was ever cleaned either but I was starting to get used to shabby shabby shabby shabby chic by the end of the week. On our checkout morning at breakfast, for the first time ever, a young lady approached us requesting feedback on our stay. Remember, we have stayed here now 7 nights and despite our complaints, this is the first time someone has spoken to us. We gave some feedback like my above, and she very nervously went away. At reception we thought management would speak to us but no. Another young lady checked us out, amazingly did not ask us how our stay even was, showed me a number to pay so I did. We then asked anything else, and her reply was ’no that’s it you can go’. Lucky we didn’t care at this point and we were finding it more fun to see what the hotel staff didn’t do rather than what they did. Just as we were leaving the lobby area and walking to our Emirates Business Class Chauffeur car, a female Front of House Manager approached in a hurry saying how sorry she was to hear of our stay feedback. She gave us a candle. We were accused of not making the management aware of our stay earlier which was nonsense we contacted the reception desk 7 times in total. She also said and quote ’the reason why your stay was not 100% is because we cannot employ enough staff, the young people in Mauritius do not want to work in hospitality any more’. I’m sorry to hear this, but this is not my problem and I should not have to listen this. Unfortunately, this manager needs to be removed from this hotel. Not only was all of our experience most likely under her watch, her final moments with us were what we would describe as appalling behaviour to a paying guest and no one should have to experience it. We were not talking to her, she approached us and just started ranting. I hope this individual is dealt with. After she said this we just wanted to leave as we were doing, she interrupted us leaving the hotel. Its a long review, however I felt necessary for any other TRUE luxury travellers thinking of staying here to read this. We are a modern couple, we travel the World, we are used to staying in hotels all year round. We simply know what we like and we know when a place cannot provide it. The fact that we hardly spent any money in the hotel was a strange experience for us and very telling. Usually after a week we’ve spent well over £1,000 on spa treatments/drinks/you & me experiences etc. If offered and it looks good we buy it for the experience and the memories. Our check out bill here was £400. For us that says a lot. All the flying reviews of this hotel in my opinion cannot be from like minded guest like us. Obviously we would not stay here again, I can’t see how even if all my above was corrected that the feel of the hotel would be any different, it would still be dated and tired looking. Sorry but it’s not good enough for us and made us think hard about bothering returning to Mauritius at all to be honest. We know the One & Only and Four Seasons is not much better so the future looks bad for Mauritius. It may have just become the new Barbados. Onto the next luxury destination we go!!!

My Wife and I have just returned from a holiday at the Paradise Cove Boutique Hotel in Mauritius. We have travelled to many countries around the world and stayed at many 5* hotels but this Hotel tops them all. A holiday that offers everything it says on the tin. The one the thing we noticed the most was how pleasant all the staff were from top to bottom and after speaking with several of them how much they genuinely enjoyed their jobs. The support they received from the Owners educating them to be five star employees helping them pay for their Schooling and even their uniforms I also heard they were paid good salaries. They also ensured that the standards around the whole complex were always maintained. From the cleanliness of our rooms to cleaning the inner man made beach raking it clean daily and physically going into the bay and dredging it. We were so impressed, as we had never seen this carried out daily before, we even took photographs of them on the job. As the open sea along the water front ???? was deep it was used as a dock to moor the boats for day trips etc. If one wanted to walk a beach you could go to one just across the road from the Hotel. AlternativelyIf just lay on the clean man made beach as many people did all day listening to the many variety of Birds that sing to you. There were some flies and small ants, only to be expected at such a humid time of year and is why the use Pest Sprays is recommended The Gym was very clean and had air conditioning, definitely needed in the heat, with sufficient space and equipment for a workout The three restaurants (OX, Peninsular and Cove) gave sufficient variety, quality and service to enjoy and return another day. We did not use the Spa although were told by other guests it to was of a high standard. Engaging with any of the staff was easy and welcoming. They even taught me to make a special drink at the Bar. Finally the evening entertainment was generally of a very high standard. Thank you to all the Staff at Paradise Cove Boutique Hotel in Mauritius that made this adventure one never to forget for all the right reasons.

My husband and I have just returned home from a magical week spent at Paradise Cove celebrating our wedding anniversary and wow what a week we had. There are no words to express our gratitude to the kindness and happiness we experienced from all the staff during our stay, from the moment we arrived and met the wonderful Axel, to every single member of staff who made our stay so feel so pampered and at ease. The hotel is simply beautiful, the rooms are well appointed overlooking the stunning cove and are equipped with everything you could need. The beds are super comfy, and the nightly turn down service with fresh beach towels delivered is a lovely touch. Every morning breakfast was a feast, and boy do Mauritians know how to look after you with their service. The people, I have to say, made our holiday just as much as the location and the stunning weather. Lunch at the peninsula is a must, after a day of enjoying the water activities. The food is wonderful and the views… oh the views. Then in the evenings you’re treated to a feast. I have to personally say that their pastry chef deserves an award, as someone with a sweet tooth, those desserts were incredible. We were pre booked into each of the restaurants upon our arrival and it was lovely to sample each one, we loved every single meal without fault. Compliments to all the chefs! And finally the catamaran trip is an absolute must, flat island is beautiful and the crew make the day simply perfect. We only wished our holiday could have been for longer and without a shadow of a doubt we will one day be back to Paradise Cove. Thank you to everyone who made our holiday so absolutely perfect. We are a well travelled couple ..and we were looking forward to Paradise Cove after visiting South Africa & Zimbabwe for 3 weeks .. this was our 7th visit to the island first of all … THIS HOTEL HAS A MAN MADE BEACH .. you can not “walk along the beach here “ it has a inlet to the water that doesn’t have enough tide and the water is silty.. it is also isolated from anywhere.. So if you are beach lovers .. this is not the hotel for you.. The rooms in the hotel are decorated quite lovely and are comfortable.. the beds are especially nice .. Now to the staff.. they work hard here, but there is no teamwork.. everyday our order for breakfast, lunch or dinner was wrong .. the staff need management around .. we never saw them.. some of the older staff bully the younger ones and in plain sight of the guests which we found quite uncomfortable. Even at the Managers cocktail party no management came near us .. The ground area around the main pool is dirty and full of flies & ants and needs to be jet washed regularly.. we never saw anyone with a broom sweeping anything .. I wondered if our room floor was ever washed as the housekeepers didn’t seem to have mops & buckets in their cleaning carts .. Food was generally OK although meat was always tough.. The drinks were very good and Michael who seemed the oldest member of staff worked the hardest delivering drinks all day I don’t want to look on my phone to view the menus.. the Spa was average.. Head South for a beautiful experience of Mauritius to enjoy the stunning beaches.. I would not recommend this hotel

Just returned after 2 weeks at this fabulous hotel. The rooms were clean, spacious and very comfortable. The food was great especially in Peninsula restaurant. We ate lunch there every day but it has limited booking in the evenings but the buffet in the dining room is also very good....

Just returned after 2 weeks at this fabulous hotel. The rooms were clean, spacious and very comfortable. The food was great especially in Peninsula restaurant. We ate lunch there every day but it has limited booking in the evenings but the buffet in the dining room is also very good. The only problem we had was a picnic lunch on the day we went out. There, were several different kinds of bread but it was all very hard and sadly inedible. We did complain when we got back and the assistant manager and chef both agreed that it was unacceptable and gave us free lobster dinner in Cove restaurant which is not normally included in all inclusive package which we thought was a very generous gesture and more than made up for the disappointing lunch. All the staff were attentive and we were impressed that by day 3 they knew our room number and our preferred choice of drinks. Special mention for Michael who looked after us around the pool with a constant supply of drinks. We hope to return later this year but sadly won’t see him again as he is retiring next month. Look forward to seeing the rest of the staff on our next visit

Paradise Cove is set around a picturesque artificial creek and has an abundance of pretty vegetation. The vegetation is likely the cause of the crawling and flying beasties which will try to eat you alive. The hotel does fog some areas periodically, but it's really half-hearted and not effective compared to other Mauritian hotels in our experience. Two other big problems for us at this hotel were the inconsistency of both service and food quality; both ranged from excellent to terrible, and seemed to be random. On the food front, the quality of meat was very variable, on the service front, it was both at the bars and restaurants. Maybe the managers take their eyes off the ball too much! Swimming and snorkelling at the hotel are both poor. Water visibility is terrible, and the area just outside the creek is randomly subjected to high-speed passes by visiting boats making it quite dangerous. The hotel does have a glass-bottomed boat which goes out to the reef daily. The snokelling out there is OK, visibility can be a bit poor, but I did see turtles swimming close up which was amazing. Drinks are decent quality and food at the central bar is really excellent. We didn't rate either of the a la carte restaurants, limited menus but nice settings. Be warned about the buffet restaurants when they sometimes do table service. Expect very slow service. We had a nice time but would not return, or recommend it to friends without warnings. Big shout out to Tulsi and the rest of the team at the main bar who were very good. You guys rescued this review from a 3☆ rating. One final moan about the evening entertainment. The acts (apart from the house DJ) were all very good, but their performances were so loud, that nobody wants to sit in the comfortable lounge area. The noise regularly sent us back to our room early and we could still hear the music inside our room with the windows shut, such a shame as it could have been really enjoyable.

This is a superb hotel to relax in. Don’t come if you want an energetic night life or a buzzy local area. If you want a beautiful, peaceful location with fabulous views, fantastic service and a chilled vibe, this is for you. I’m writing this on our last day, in a ‘love nest’ looking over the sea with a beautiful view of the off-shore islands. I am going to miss that view! The hotel is set around a cove which makes it sheltered. Whether you are a beach or swimming pool person, there are sun beds galore, so no need for towel reserving. For a breeze hit the sun beds on the Peninsular or the love nests on the seafront/cove edge. Cocktails are delivered to your sun bed at the touch of a button, with a wide choice both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. A good range of food choices, with vegetarians & vegans well catered for. What makes this hotel something special is its staff: John who served us at the Peninsula restaurant with panache. Tulsi at the Stay bar with fantastic cocktails and wonderful rum ( do try the free rum tasting). The front desk staff who book restaurants and experiences for you. Jonathan who popped up serving cocktails or in the main restaurant, always with a smile. Housekeeping who kept our room superbly clean and the gardeners who keep the grounds immaculate. Highly recommended and if we return to Mauritius it will be to this hotel which is rightly named Paradise.

It is Paradise. Calming, quiet and relaxing. Didn't feel crowded at all on beach or whilst dining. Beach beds are about 3m from each other. Staff all really friendly. Food is great. Room was great ( actually want to copy the shower at home). We were there 9 nights and I thought we might need to visit other places but didn't get bored or feel the need. Lots to do: aqua gym was a laugh and actually more challenging than I thought it would be. Pilates with Alison was first class - wish I could go to her class every week. Catamaran trip was well worth doing as good fun with excellent snorkelling. Recommend highly!

Very difficult to say anything extra that has not already been said. This hotel is exceptional. We were Impressed with everybody and everything. Food, drink, service, rooms, staff, ambience all first class. Sun beds everywhere, always some free, no need to reserve or worry. Some in the shade and others in the sun. Very peaceful and relaxing. So many great people to mention, but Michael tops the list, he knew what we wanted to drink before we did, and always with a smile and a nice conversation. He has to retire next week after 30+ years of service, it is clear that he does not want to, can we start a “Save our Michael” campaign 😀 Air Mauritius cancelled our flight with 4 hours notice, the reception staff jumped into action and found us another room for our extra night stay. The poor porter moved our cases about 8 times, but again always with a smile. We did the catamaran trip with the nicest and fun crew, again first class. I think you can tell we enjoyed ourselves and cannot wait to go back !!

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it really did feel like paradise. The hotel is beautiful and the prefect honeymoon location. The biggest highlight of the hotel is the quality of the food. We felt like we were eating Michelin star food every meal. There are 2 restaurants including an Asian and Mauritian, in addition to the main dining restaurant which we were pleasantly surprised held many a la carte nights. The quality of the cocktails and drinks in general were impressive for a hotel offering all inclusive. Our only constructive feedback would be that that service for drinks in the evenings at the main (Stay) bar can be a little slow. They could benefit from an additional bartender or two potentially. This does not take away from the exceptional service which we received the majority of the time - a special mention to Manoj at the peninsula pool bar, who was amazing all week and couldn’t do more for us. At the Stay bar, a shoutout to Dev, who really looked after us but also hosted our rum tasting included in our package. He was very knowledgeable! He also gave us a recommendation of a local bar/club to go to the one night we wanted to carry on past the 11:30 finish of the main bar. There is live music every night at the hotel which is great and some singers were fantastic. But just so you’re aware for those who prefer a bit more of a lively atmosphere in the evening it is quiet and bars do shut by 11:30. The hotel could make use of putting some later evening events on occasionally. Our room was spotless and we felt like we had plenty of room in the deluxe premium. We took advantage of having a half price massage as part of our stay. This really was exceptional and we wish we had time to book further treatments at the spa. There is also plenty of activities on offer included with the all inclusive package. We took advantage of kayaking, snorkelling and going on a pedal boat and really enjoyed it. We have just returned from our honeymoon at Paradise Cove, where we spent 14 nights. The trip was absolutely brilliant and I would recommend to anyone! Firstly, the food was incredible. I am vegan and my husband is vegetarian and we chose this hotel for their vegan options which were excellent throughout. There were plenty of options at breakfast, including vegan sausages and bacon, with vegan pastries and croissants most days, as well as plenty of fresh fruit and vegan yoghurt. The other restaurants all had a good range of options (XO was probably the worst for vegans - although still good!) and some really good desserts which always makes a nice change. When we had the honeymoon dinner, Chef Yan was brilliant with sorting a vegan menu for me on short notice which was lovely. We also had the Gauthier vegan menu which was tasty but possibly not worth the extra money - but mainly because the vegan food that was included was so brilliant! The only thing I would say is my husband ordered a dish that was labelled vegan (pasta arrabbiata) at the Peninsula which came with parmesan on top, meaning I couldn't have a bite. All in all, this is the best hotel I've ever been to for vegan / veggie food. The service was also, on the whole, excellent. We spent a lot of time by the beach and Michael's service was the best we have ever experienced, quickly learning our room number and favourite drinks and bringing a constant supply of icy water, drinks and cucumber for our eyes. On the one day a week he was off, the service at the beach was noticeably lacking. We understand he is retiring at the end of the month which we are very sad about - and hopefully someone can take his place! The reception staff were brilliant, explaining the different offerings from the hotel well, arranging our restaurant and activity bookings, and also organising our taxi to and from the airport. As the hotel is small, the staff seem to get to know you very quickly, and we must also give special shoutouts to Tanisha on reception, Dev, Siven, Sanjeeta, Pooja, Deepak and Keshav, who were all brilliant in the various restaurants. Our room was the most basic type offered but was still amazing, a huge bed, lovely double shower, plenty of room and a lovely balcony overlooking the cove and the beach. The activities offered by the hotel were also brilliant. We did the stargazing which was really incredible, the kayaking, the EKOL snorkelling (which was amazing!) and the glass bottom boat trip. Dev was also brilliant at the Stay Bar and led the rum tasting which was excellent and also the cocktail making class - he was so knowledgable these were both brilliant. There was also a cooking class which although was included for honeymooners was slightly odd - we requested for our meal to be vegan but in the class we just watched the chef make a prawn curry and were served a tofu curry - it would've made more sense if we watched the chef make both curries at the same time! It was a shame some of the activities were not shouted about a little more as we would have participated in the Tai Chi had we known about it! We did 2 x e-bike tours, one with Emmanuel and one with Yani, which were both amazing and taught us so much about the island - I would really recommend these. We also had 3 massages whilst we were there and these were all excellent, delivered by Joelle, Samantha, and one other (sorry we forgot her name!). Finally, we also did the You & Me sunset cruise which was really enjoyable, we were lucky and got a brilliant sunset, but did feel under a bit of pressure from the staff on the boat to tip (when we had already paid a lot of money for the boat trip). All in all, I would not hesitate to recommend Paradise Cove to anyone (especially honeymooners) and will definitely be returning!

We decided to book this hotel as we were really tired and needing couple time. Being adult only hotel was a first for us. It was a great decision. The hotel is calm, peaceful and very romantic. Being a small boutique 5* made it even more special in our eyes than a " normal 5*". The staff are attentive, polite, friendly and always interact with a smile. The whole ambience is luxurious without stuffiness. The rooms are beautiful, well equipped and cleaned. The pools are refreshing and perfectly dotted around the hotel space. Mickael in particular-our pool waiter -was so kind and i will miss his eyes cucumber and sunglasses cleaning moments. You never feel crowded or frustrated to find a lounger or a table. The food served at all the different restaurants was good, varied and in some cases excellent. The staff in the bar and restaurants were excellent. Too many to names but they all managed to chat with us, to advice and put a smile on our faces. All in all we have had the most wonderful week here. The beach is made up of a beautiful but small cove but you can swim and enjoy the gorgeous ocean from the peninsula too. Water Sports and trips by boat or taxis are easily booked from the reception. Alison and Jasmin were so accommodating. We will recommend this magical place and we hope to come back one day.

We chose Paradise Cove as the venue for our intimate destination wedding and we couldn't have chosen better. From the moment we arrived, the staff have made our stay exeptional. We were greeted with warmth every day and were made to feel so very noticed and special. Ile Maurice has been full of adventures and beautiful locations - but our favourite place in the tropical paradise is, without doubt, Paradise Cove.  Special shout outs should be given to the ladies at reception: Kacey, Milena, Yashna and Lolita - who were full of genuine care and warm smiles. They made our stay so memorable and happy. The catering staff were amazing too and the food was EXCEPTIONAL! Additional special mentions for Anatasia (you are absolutely lovely!), Sangeeta, Pooja, Rajesh, Deepak, Sanjeet, John, Tulsi, Kushev, Adekola, Francesco and Cedric. With his humor and care, Michael was an absolute star at the Cove and the pool and never let us go thirsty! We cannot wait to return to this idyllic retreat and, from the bottom of our hearts, we thank each and every one of you for giving us such a brilliant start to our married lives together. A very friendly boutique hotel, the staff are very attentive and polite all the time. The food was varied and delicious. Alison, Jasmine and Michael were outstanding. The room was spacious and luxurious and very clean. The pool was well maintained and the pool bar service was excellent.

The attention to detail at this hotel is incredible. The grounds are tendered to every day, even in the rain making them look amazing. Umbrellas are available every where in case of rain showers, which did happen whilst we visited. 3. The deluxe double room we had on 2nd floor facing the private beach. Always nice & clean with fresh pool towels replaced every day. Nice Cinq Mondes toiletries in the bathroom. 4. Bottled water is FOC throughout the hotel in plant based bottles so they pride themselves on sustainability. 100% recommended-must visit. Thank You for making our holiday a memorable one.

I recommend the catamaran trip to Flat Island which is a lovely day with snorkelling & plenty of food & drinks. The spa is also beautiful, I had a body scrub treatment which was lovely. All in all this is an excellent hotel, I am baffled at some of the more negative reviews on here recently. Would definitely recommend for a relaxed holiday.

This is an adults only hotel. Which is obvious in the way they look after everyone with so much enthusiasm. Only to mention a few staff. Sandhya, Alison,in reception. Dev, Tulsi in the main bar and Michael serving drinks around the pools and beach. The remaining staff were also fantastic but to many to mention. The room was lovely clean and like the rest of the hotel well maintained. This is a small but very adequate hotel and exactly why I booked it. The food deserved a Michelin star rating. The food was very well cooked and presented. My wife has a onion and garlic intolerance and without any problems they catered for her making us feel very humble and pampered. The staff were so helpful always at hand to answer any questions even if they had nothing to do with the hotel. We stayed for our 40th anniversary and my 60th birthday all in the 11 days we stayed. All the staff made our stay memorable and very special. All the pools were always very clean and water tested very regularly. As far as I am aware they are not heated but heating is not needed as the sun sufficiently heats them to a comfortable temperature to swim in or just relax. This hotel is Fantastic.

What can we say, this was just the most magical place to start our honeymoon! It really does live up to its name of paradise! Service: The service was some of the best we have EVER received. Everyone is so friendly and says good morning to you. The service is incredible, from the waiters, the kitchen staff and the bar staff. We have to make a special mention to Michael who knew our drinks order pretty quickly and was continually bringing us drinks by the beach! And also to Dev for always being so friendly and chatty and making the best Mauritian Ti Punch cocktail! Pools/beach: There are loads of sun-loungers and places to chill which is refreshing compared to most all inclusive hotels these days. The pools were always clean and a lovely temperature to cool off in. Food: we couldn’t fault the food at all, so much choice and the fish was just some of the best we have ever eaten! The pool bar snacks (which are more like full meals) were great for lunch! Honeymoon package: As part of our honeymoon package, we got to do rum tasting, a 20 minute massage each, cooking and a cocktail class as well as a honeymoon dinner! We honestly couldn’t find one negative with this hotel apart from one teeny thing which would be to have a fan or air conditioning above the pool table as it’s so hot there but that is minor! We wish we could come back every year but fingers crossed that sometime in the near future we can come back again!

We stayed at Paradise Cove for the second part of our honeymoon and it was perfect. Stunning location and scenery, the colour of the sea is something we’d never seen before. The décor is beautiful and luxurious, and the hotel is big enough so that it never feels busy. We loved the pool at the Penninsula. The rooms and the whole hotel were beautiful and clean. The food and drinks are exceptional with the choice of restaurants and cuisines, our favourite being XO. We loved the sundowners with live music, cocktails and snacks, and had a lovely honeymoon experience booked for us when we arrived. We did the catamaran trip which was brilliant. The staff were excellent and made our experience here: Manoj, Deepak, Michael, Alison and Nicholas and all of the other staff who made us feel so welcome and went above and beyond. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Paradise Cove was the best hotel we have ever stayed at and the only negative was that we couldn’t stay for even longer! All of the staff were really welcoming and helpful, particularly Kimberly in reception and all of the bartenders and waiters. We stayed for eight days for our honeymoon and packed in lots of activities which the hotel organised for us. Highlights included the half day private pirogue trip to two beautiful islands and snorkelling; a day trip to the south of the island with a taxi driver; the extensive rum tasting; playing tennis; the glass bottom boat trip; stargazing; spa treatments; and the vegan tasting menu at The Cove. The hotel itself has so much to do and all of the pools are beautiful! Even the couple of rainy days were great as there was live music and great food and drinks. On the food and drinks, I am vegan and there were always plenty of options particularly in the buffet and the Peninsula restaurant. Staff showed a good understanding of allergies and the menu and dishes were mostly clearly labelled. My only small suggestion would be to make sure all of the vegan options are clearly labelled, particularly at breakfast, but the chefs were more than happy to help explain everything and there were lots of amazing fresh options! It would also be great to have another vegan sushi option on the XO menu but there are a good number to choose from already. The small thoughtful details really demonstrate how the hotel staff go above and beyond. For example, there are little cabins provided for early check in and late check out so you can continue to use the facilities even if your room isn’t available. We can’t wait to come back one day so if you’re thinking about booking Paradise Cove for a holiday, particularly a honeymoon, we would definitely recommend it!

We stayed for a week at this beautiful resort. The property is absolutely stunning and very well kept. The hotel consists of 75 rooms so it is not a huge resort but still has all the great facilities but with a personal touch. There are many ‘love nests’ dotted around the hotel so you really feel like you’re in your own paradise and the hotel never felt crowded. The decor of the hotel is very nice and bright and the rooms are very airy and tasteful. I am quite a clean freak myself and would have liked the rooms to have been thoroughly dusted, particularly the wooden slats and also mopped the floors. There are many activities to enjoy everyday including non-motororised water sports, a glass bottom boat, tennis, rum tasting, cooking demonstrations, yoga, water aerobics etc. the evening entertainment was also very pleasant and included live singers, Indian dancing, jazz etc. The hotel includes a spa- I opted for a mum to be massage in the last day which was very good. We stayed on a half board basis. We found the food to be very tasty particularly the XO and Peninsula restaurants. The buffets were also good particularly the Indian buffet which was extremely tasty and authentic. If we stayed for 2 weeks we may have got bored of the food options but for one week was perfect. A couple of improvement points: When asking for a coke they always brought it from a gun which was very watery and flat so I had to always insist on a bottle. And also the iced lattes were very weak and milky! It would be good to see some ice creams/lollies being served by the pool and buffet area. The majority of staff were absolutely wonderful and really made the resort. A particular shout out to Deepak who was always so friendly and welcoming at breakfast, lunch and dinner! He was a delight and always remembered us and stopped for a chat. We were celebrating our baby moon and had messaged the hotel in advance of our stay. They responded saying they made a note on the system and any good will gestures would be at their discretion which is absolutely understandable. I was a bit disappointed when we arrived after a very long flight that this was not acknowledged by reception at all- even just a congratulations message or any small token. I had to infact bring it up a couple of times and after doing so we were offered an upgraded room for the last 2 nights but had I not rementioned it I don’t think they would have made any special effort. The room however was lovely and had more space which was very nice. On the last day we were allowed to have extended checkout (after initially being declined due to our room being booked) as we weren’t leaving the hotel until 5pm- we were very grateful for this as being 7 months pregnant i wanted a place I could rest before the long flight home and it was raining a lot so couldn’t lay outside. All in all we had a superb stay and felt like we were in paradise.

We visited Paradise Cove at the start of our holiday and followed up with Lux Le Morne. The location at Paradise Cove is probably the weakest pet of the resort as the beach isn’t the best and the water is cloudy in the bay. The accommodation at Paradise Cove was well maintained and very clean throughout the resort. The room we had overlooked the beach area although we tended not to sit in the balcony. Food and Drink Excellent sensation of cocktails and wine. We medically enjoyed the New Fashioneds, the Marmalde Whiskey and the Chardonnay. The breakfast was good with a good selection of food Serving this didn’t change throughout our stay. The lunches were excellent at the peninsular, especially the local Mauritian cuisine. Diners at the dining room where a mixture of buffet and sit down menus depending upon the day. The food was excellent, especially on days with the port or full sit down menu. The Peninsula and XO meals were excellent and we couldn’t fault them at all. We didn’t try the Cove restaurant. Service Service was outstanding in all restaurants and bars. We never had a disappointing experience our entire visit and ask staff were excellent. Overall, we had a brilliant time and lots of memories at Paradise Cove

This beautiful small Boutique Resort close to Grand Baie is really a gem. It is big enough that it does not feel crowded. You can find a spot where you feel alone and sip on your cocktail. Sundowners are special and there is often live music. The food is outstanding.

A special thank you to the amazing chefs, Yan and Vishal, for preparing delicious bespoke gluten-free meals just for me. Apart from the stunning surroundings, we particularly loved how peaceful it was. If it wasn’t so far away, we would go back time and again. I must do a shout out to some of the staff who went out of their way to make our stay one of the best experiences we have ever had. DeeWar (breakfast mostly, thank you for our morning fizz), Michael (on the beach, always there with my Bloody Mary), Pravish and Sangeeta (waiters in dining, wine at the ready), Dev (Stay Bar, charming and informative, we loved our whisky evening!), Jonathan (Peninsula Bar, drinks to hand and so helpful with my husband’s bite treatment – onion and vinegar, who knew!), and finally thanks to Yodosh, known as Yoda and worked the bar … you always had a lovely smile for everyone and worked so hard. You will always be remembered as ‘Lovely Jubbly’. Thanks to everyone, too numerous to mention, for our holiday of a lifetime.

We stayed at Paradise Cove Boutique Hotel for our honeymoon and it was the most idillic and perfect hotel we could've wished for. The first thing to mention is the staff; whether it is the house keeping team, the chefs, the waiting staff or the reception team, you couldn't wish for more. Every single person will smile, say hello, ask about your day and remember small details about you. For example, on the first night I ordered a cocktail and gave my room number and on the last night, the same waitress served me and remembered my room number and cocktail choice. It's a small detail but makes such a difference! The grounds are so beautiful and spacious. Even when we had some bad weather and more of the guests were under the sheltered areas, there was still more than enough space and privacy for guests. Equally across the daytime, there are so many different areas so you are never fighting for sun loungers, everyone is respectful and takes their towels with them if they know that they'll be away for a couple of hours. The outdoor spaces are so clean and you feel like you are in paradise with the palm trees, the flower displays and the natural decor. We loved swimming in the cove and seeing fish leaping out of the water, watching the crabs scuttling across the beach or spotting the numerous lizards. The bird song is so beautiful and memorable. For honeymooners, it's a perfect hotel. We had lots of little surprises (which I won't share to not ruin the surprise) and also booked a couples massage which was lovely. The spa area was beautiful and peaceful. We didn't explore the area outside of the hotel as we wanted to switch off and relax fully. However we did the snorkelling experience which was part of our package (Premium Inclusive) and it was amazing. I couldn't believe that it was included without extra charges, the instructors were kind and supportive and it's great to see that they care about conserving the natural landscape. It runs 6 days a week so there's plenty of opportunities to experience it. If you are coming to Paradise Cove Boutique, just know that every little detail (such as restaurant bookings, fresh beach towels or more memorable experiences) will be taken care of. It's a hotel that will be unforgettable for us and we hope to be back one day!

Wow where to start. This is by far the most amazing hotel that I have stayed at, and my boyfriend agrees with me! We were absolutely blown away by the beautiful hotel and facilities as well as the food and attention to detail. The thing that sets it apart the most, is the team at Paradise Cove Hotel. The hotel itself. Very beautiful and nicely decorated. There is great care and attention to details for each aspect of the hotel. The décor is very fresh and suit the surroundings lovely. There is plenty of areas for you to relax and enjoy your surroundings both inside and outside, in the shade and in the sun. It is a very spacious hotel, despite it being full when we were there, there was loads of space during breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks. The pools had lots of sun loungers and there was a good amount of some positioned in the sun and in the shade. The main pool was our favourite with lots of comfortable loungers. The cove beach seems to get busiest, but there is still lots of time in the mornings to grab a seat. There is also the peninsula pool that has an amazing view of the sea and that seems to get busy quickly but again, lots of opportunity to get yourself a seat. All the seats and loungers poolside have a buzzer for you to order a drink or coffee if you like. A big, massive thanks to Yodish who served us poolside almost every day, we always had such a great laugh with him, and he was very friendly. He would drop us water over in the morning and even came around with fresh cucumber for our eyes. We always enjoyed him helping, thanks so much!! The reception and shop are separate from the main lobby area which is quite refreshing and the team in there would always give us a big welcome and knew us quite well. They always asked about our days to ensure that we were having a good time and there was no task too big for them, thank you so much for your help especially to manager Alison and team members Yashna and Sasha who all helped us immensely during our stay and returned my lost sunglasses! The rooms were absolutely beautiful with great attention to detail and décor. All shower bits included from Cinq la Mode brand which was very very nice. Mini fridge is restocked daily and with recycled glass bottles. We really loved the sustainability aspect of the rooms and their commitment to recycling and reducing waste. There is a turn down service available in the evenings and room service is also available, but we did not use this option. Thank you to Sefora who took care of our room and left us lovely fresh flowers on our balcony. It was such a lovely treat to com back to and we were very happy with the high level of service. The gardens were the most impressive part of the hotel in my opinion, the wide variety of plants and flowers were stunning, and my favourite part of the day was to look at the flower bowls around the hotel which had been beautifully prepared by Verent. Everyday he would say hello to us and show us the bowls he had prepared for the day. They were always to stunning and we loved them. Thank you Verent the gardener! Some other small bits, there is a shop available for purchasing small souvenirs and little bits. There is also a pool table, darts board and there are lots of boardgames and cards free for everyone to use. There is also lots of bookcases with free books. Food and drinks. This was by far the best food that we have had at any hotel/resort. The standard was so high, and all the ingredients were fresh and tasty. The hotel also ensures that 40% of the produce is Mauritius based, which once again, feeds into their sustainability and supporting local ideas which we love to see happening. The main reason we chose this hotel is their broad range of vegan options. My boyfriend is vegan, and he was in absolute heaven. We had an amazing option in all meals and wasn’t stuck to just one which was great as usually there is only one option on each menu. All the food was very clearly labelled for allergens including gluten and dairy which I’m sure will ease the mind of those with dietary restrictions. Breakfast at the dining room was always lovely and wide variety of food and drinks. Coffee was served from a barista machine meaning it was always hot and strong. There was a selection of fresh juices and a bottle of prosecco at the juice section if you fancied a mimosa which was a really nice touch. There was a cool room in the dining room that had all the fresh fruits, yogurts, cold meats and cheeses. They had a vegan yogurt available and sometimes vegan cheeses and meat style slices. The homemade granola was a firm favourite for us. The hot food included vegan sausages and bacon and some other little bits like chilli bits, samosas and even vegan pastries so there was always plenty of choice for vegan/vegetarians. There was also a pancake/crepe station where you could have these made fresh for you and an egg station where you could have any choice of egg and omelette made on the spot for you with the option to add truffle which was so tasty! They had a wide selection of meat sausages, pastries, fruits and vegetables. Lunch could be eaten at the peninsula restaurant from 12 until 3 or at the stay bar from 11 to 6 both of which had a massive variety of food. The peninsula food was absolutely divine with a massive selection of starts, sides and desserts. It had an amazing view overlooking Gunners Quoin. The pizzas here were always very nice and had great vegan options also including 2 vegan pizzas. The stay bar for lunch was a little bit more casual but just as tasty. It had some really great burgers and paninis and once again, some really great vegan options including a beyond met burger and ceaser salad. The most amazing thanks to Sangeeta who served us during breakfast, lunch and dinner who made our stay so so special She remembered what I liked to drink and always ensured my boyfriend had plenty of vegan options and even giving him some alternative bread and butter to suit him. We really cannot thank you enough for your high-level service and friendly presence. We miss you!! There are lots of dinner options. We ate at the dining room for most nights which changed theme and service on a nightly basis which was great for switching it up and not feeling like the same thing over and over. Some nights was a sit down a la carte, some nights a full buffet and other times a mix of both which was nice to have, and we didn’t feel like we were getting any repetitiveness. Our favourite was in the Indian buffet, the food was amazing and so tasty and once again, the vegan options outstanding and providing so much variety and choice. We had dinner at peninsula twice and the food there was of very high standard, the breads they provided were so so tasty and all of the courses were of very high standard. I would highly recommend the beef tartar to start and the tandoori carrots for the main. Service here is of very good standard and a massive thank you to John who served us both nights here and always ensured we were taken care of it really made our nights here special. The food service here was a bit slower but it was nice and relaxed and nice to take in the surroundings and enjoy the sea breeze. We had dinner at XO one of the nights, which was very tasty and really fresh. A good selection of dishes and once again, good vegan options, the staff here were very knowledgeable about the food and told my boyfriend his options and were great in their service. The sushi was a standout, and my boyfriend said that the miso soup was absolutely delicious. There were also options to dine in the cove for a 7-course meal, with a vegan option! We didn’t go to this but heard from other people that it was very nice, and the food was of great quality and taste. We both agreed that this is some of the best food we have ever eaten. Big thanks also go out to Adrain, Rajesh, Johnathan and Adikola who served us on multiple nights, they were so lovely and made our meals times very special. The quality of food, variety, choice and taste was unmatched ad we left very full and very satisfied. There was a little tea bar in recpetion with fresh biscuits and iced teas for all guests to enjoy which was a nice touch. We spent most evenings at the stay bar which had such amazing variety of drinks. My favourite was the lavender mist, and my boyfriend really enjoyed the Mo Lamem. Each bar had some signature cocktails, so it was great to try some new ones out. There was also fantastic selection of beers, spirits and wines, many of which were local to the island. We had a few drinks at peninsula bar some of the nights which was great to be sat out in the fresh air. Our biggest thanks to Tulsi, Dev, Yushal and Lavish who served us at the bar. They always made us feel so welcome and we always had a smile on our face when we were with them. They always knew our usual orders and we had a great laugh with them and some great conversations. We also did the rum tasting with Dev who was so knowledgeable, and the tasting itself was so fun, and the rums sampled were very nice. It was also really interesting to find out some more history of rum making and also to learn of the Mauritian culture and tradition. Activities There are lots included in the hotel including yoga, Pilates, tai chi, archery and lots of water sports. Some of the sailing activities are dependents on the wind that day, the boat house team will put a flag out if it is safe or not. We did a snorkel with the hotel, and it was in a glass bottom boat so even if you don’t want to get in the water you can still have a look! The group we went with saw a turtle but unfortunately, we missed it. We did the paid catamaran trip which was amazing! The team on board; Donovan, Booba and another man whose name we have unfortunately forgotten were an amazing team and we have the most amazing time seeing the northern islands and seeing the fish and landscape. They went to great efforts to ensure everyone was having fun, was well served and staying safe. They prepared a BBQ on board for us with fresh meats, fish, garlic breads and salads, which was delicious. Sadly, there were no vegan options for my boyfriend except the pasta which was disappointing as when we booked it with the reception team, and we made sure to tell them of the dietary requirements, and they said that they would ensure that something was arranged for him, but this wasn’t told to the team who had nothing prepared. The team on board were apologetic and there was nothing they could do as they weren’t informed. We told the reception team afterwards who were very apologetic about the situation. There was so much to do in and around the hotel during the day, but our favourite was going in the cove for a swim. It was so nice to have it right there and it was so refreshing for a dip. I would recommend wearing some swim shoes as there are some sharp rocks down the bottom. There is a gym and spa for you to use at the hotel and the spa pool is available for anyone to use regardless of if you are getting a spa treatment or not. There is also a colder lap pool which is lovely to dip in when it gets very hot. My final say This hotel is honestly fantastic. I have never seen such an extraordinary commitment to guest experience and satisfaction. All members of the team greet you with a smile and make you feel so welcome. Many of them remember you by name and the level of service goes beyond expectations. It was such a joy to speak to staff about our day and learn more about them, they even told us they had a staff bonding day while we were staying there. I think it is so fantastic to see a hotel put so much effort in supporting its team and ensuring they are being looked after. This hotel was very suited to a more relaxed and chilled out vibe. If you are looking for party and nightlife you will best find this outside the hotel. In the evening, they have live music and often cultural experiences such as local dancers and local musicians which was lovely to watch. Yannie was great fun and ensured all guests were entertained and had some great music every night! He even joined my boyfriend for a game of pool when he was playing on his own. He was always around giving such lovely smiles and talking to guests which was so lovely. Thank you so much to all the members of staff at Paradise Cove. I have so much more I could say! It was an absolute exceptional stay, and we would love to return some day in the future, we will find it difficult to find anything else in the world that comes close to this exceptional hotel.

This has to be one of the best hotels we are ever stayed in. We arrived on an overnight flight from London extremely tired and were greeted and introduced by the lovely Veesha (sorry if I spelt the name wrong!) She was so welcoming and took us to our cabin for a change and shower while we waited for a room to be ready. These cabins are really useful, we had the use of one on our last day also when we checked out at 12. The rooms are excellent, all facilities you need and stunning views. The beds are really comfortable too! The main thing that impressed us so much however was the food - it was like going to a fine dining restaurant twice a day for 10 days. Amazing food, well presented and so tasty. We ate in all restaurants apart from the Cove - XO, the Japanese, the sushi was so good! Peninsula restaurant for lunch most days and twice in the evenings - again just brilliant. We had the full a la carte evening on our final night in the main restaurant which was delicious. Another big highlight is the staff, so friendly and polite. You are really made to feel important and respected. A special shout out goes to Sangeta, Deepak, John and Keshav for their hard work and attention in the restaurants. Just lovely people and so friendly. And the lovely Manoj - such a nice gent and always stopped for a chat with a big smile Sunbeds are plentiful and you can always find a space, all day, although they could probably do with adding more on the beach and in areas on the Peninsula in the sun. Many are in full shade all day. Only minor niggles is the service to the call bells, especially to the Peninsula bed and love nests. We had to wait over an hour for drinks sometimes. Also a long wait for food at lunchtime in the Stay Bar Overall though this place deserves to be called Paradise - it really is and we would love to return. Thanks for a fantastic holiday

Wow, this hotel is absolutely incredible. We booked 1 week all inclusive and never wanted to leave. The food was amazing, waiters always friendly and remembered room number and drinks order. There was always a sun lounger available no matter what time of day, no one reserving sunbeds early in the morning. It’s complete bliss. A few days into our stay we were sent a feedback form. I mentioned it would be nice to have a paper menu for restaurants rather than a QR code. That evening a member of staff came to find us and kindly explained that paper menus are available on request. I have no doubt that if we had any issues, these would be rectified asap.. although I think you’d struggle to find a real issue in this hotel. Our flight back home was cancelled (nothing to do with the hotel) and the airline put us in a temporary hotel, and wow this really made us appreciate just how spectacular Paradise Cove is compared to your regular hotel. We can’t wait to return

The food throughout our stay was absolutely sublime. A particular highlight was XO Restaurant, which impressed us so much we dined there twice! Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. Evenings at the Stay Bar were some of our favorite memories. With expertly crafted cocktails, friendly bar staff, and a fun, relaxed vibe, we spent many nights there chatting, laughing, and playing games. It became our go-to spot to unwind. The hotel’s pools were exceptional, especially the infinity pool by the Peninsula Bar—a breathtaking spot that quickly became one of the highlights of our stay. The views, the ambiance, and the tranquil setting were second to none. We couldn’t recommend Paradise Cove Boutique Hotel more highly for couples seeking a romantic, luxurious, and intimate escape. We’re already dreaming about coming back to celebrate a future anniversary!

Hotel is really beautiful, everything has clearly been meticulously planned. Staff were nice and helpful and check in was very smooth. Our room was the nicest hotel room I have ever stayed in. Spotlessly clean (and I’m picky with cleanliness), big beds, modern and well maintained. Pools are all lovely, the infinity pool especially has an amazing view. They were all a great temperature and lots of sun-beds. Great choice of food, and even in the buffet, a lot is made to order. Some of the food was not to my husband’s taste however. Loads of choice of drinks on the all inclusive as well. They also let us keep our room until 5pm which is 10/10 service. I enjoyed the laid back vibe, nice live singing every night and a pool table and darts. This isn’t the type of hotel if you want partying all night. My only criticism is the sun-bed service for drinks was slow, my husband got bit fed up of waiting so went to the bar and they begrudgingly served him, they seem to not like you coming up to the bar, very odd. Mainly just sad only got 3 nights at Paradise Cove as they were fully booked on the other days we were in Mauritius.

Holidayed here to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary and my wife's fifty-tenth birthday. From the moment we arrived, to the moment we left, the staff went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Specific shout outs to Yeeana (on Reception) who organised a special birthday meal and cake for my wife; Yodish, who kept us hydrated (with water) around the pool; to Dev and the team at the Stay bar who kept us hydrated (with alcohol) lunchtime and in the evening (including a local version of an Old-Fashioned which was popular with both of us). The rooms were superb, air conditioned and kept spotlessly tidy and clean by housekeeping. Foodwise, no complaints here either. The main restaurant offered a mix of buffet and a la carte, with XO and Peninsular offering oriental and international cuisine. The sushi at XO was exceptional (2 visits there both organised by Yeeana). The resort is centred on a small cove (unsurprisingly) and was kept spotlessly clean by the grounds staff (who all offered a cheerful greeting when you bumped into them). We went all-inclusive which included all food and good selection of local and international drinks. All in all, a superb holiday and would not hesitate to recommend it as a destination for that special holiday/celebration.

Wow - our third visit in 3 years. We have a massive list of places we want to visit and normally we have an unofficial policy of not going back to the same place. We have however made an exception for Paradise Cove. This place is very, special. No children, a limited number of rooms the setting as the name suggests is indeed paradise. The service, food, drink and entertainment are outstanding. All the staff are brilliant but we have singled a few out for a special mention :- Stay Bar/restaurant Dev Tulsi Yodish Ghavish Sangeeta Our super cleaners Kumari Suresh Many thanks also to the management team at the resort who not only gave us a fabulous room upgrade which was very much appreciated but they also arranged a late check out for us on the day of departure 👌 In the three years since we first found Paradise cove we have also been to the Maldives, Bali, Thailand, Las Vegas, Estonia, Amsterdam, Murcia and Krakow and we always try and stay in nice hotels. It’s fair to say through that Paradise Cove ticks all our boxes and so we keep going back for more. We will be back at Christmas and hope to carryon where we left off, having an amazing time .

Just returned home from an idyllic 12 nights at Paradise Cove, our second visit. Exceptional food and service, the hotel location and layout allow for lazing by the pool or hiding in a "love nest" overlooking the Indian Ocean, then watching sunsets from a sofa at the Peninsula Bar. What's not to like? So why did we go back after 3 years? Simple ... the staff are fantastic, attentive, courteous and good humoured. I could chat about rum for hours with Dev, Tulsi and the team at the Stay Bar, and the team's cocktails are first class - New Rum Fashion is my new drink of choice. The menu choices give great variety for meat / fish eaters and vegetarians/vegans alike. Food was even better than last time, kudos to the chefs. From seafood carpaccio to medium rare lamb, Mauritian buffet to XO's delicious sushi ... 12 nights dining was not enough! Enjoyed the Spa and the catamaran trip, despite the dodgy weather that day, met some nice couples - many honeymooners - and it's simple and safe to hire a car and discover the island at your own pace. Fully recommend this hotel.

We had a lovely week at the Paradise Cove, just the break we were looking for. We were checked in smoothly and efficiently, given a quick tour of the hotel and allowed to use a ‘departure cabin’, a small room you can use to freshen up with a shower and change either prior to check in time or after check out if you have a late departure, a very welcoming and nice touch. There is also an air-conditioned lounge you can sit in and get drinks. All the staff at the hotel are very friendly, keen to help and very happy to have a conversation and make sure you are comfortable and happy. Our bags were taken straight to our room when we could check in. We were shown all the amenities of the room which included a small, complimentary mini bar if you were on the all inclusive package we were on. I would recommend this option as it covers meals, drinks, snacks and most beverages from arrival to departure. There doesn’t seem to be any other local options to eat near by. The food and drinks are very good. There are three on site restaurants, we were booked into them all by Reception prior to arrival so that we could experience them all. Breakfast is in The Dining Room, with a full choice of breads, pastries, juices, hot and continental choices, fruit, yoghurt and tea and coffee made to order. You can order eggs and pancakes too but there is often a queue at busy times. We also had dinner in the Dining Room several times, they do a good BBQ buffet and a very good Mauritian buffet, one of the few regrets I had about my stay at the Paradise Cove was for some reason they did not do the Indian buffet, which from the menu looked great, but instead they repeated the BBQ twice. We had lunch and dinner at The Peninsula, which has great views out to sea. Service at lunch was very good and attentive, in the evening it’s fine but seemed to take longer. Both menus have a wide range of dishes to suit all tastes. The lunch sitting you can just turn up for, the dinner service needs booking. You can also eat lunch at The Stay Bar, which do ‘snacks’ all afternoon and this was a good lunch early evening meal option, we ate there for instance on the day we left as it was too early for dinner. They do a good range of burgers, salads, sandwiches etc. Service was a little slow at times due to the popularity of the bar, it gets very busy in the evening. We would stop by for pre and post dinner drinks, but the service is attentive and accurate. We also ate at the Japanese XO Restaurant for one night. I am super fussy about my Japanese food and found the dishes (starters/sushi/mains/dessert) as not being very authentic but tasty enough, but my wife really enjoyed it. Drinks are everything you could hope for in terms of soft drinks, wines, spirits, beer etc. Service in all the restaurants was quite good, bar a running joke my wife I had for about three days where we would request sparkling water with our meal and still water always arrived and occasionally forgetting a drink order which we had to repeat. All the information about the hotel was available through a QR code including menus, drinks lists, amenities, activities and other information. Our room was very comfortable, overlooking the beach area, on the third floor of a small block of rooms. It had a nice balcony, fan, air conditioning, minibar, TV, umbrellas which we needed with showery weather, wardrobe, safe, comfortable bed, excellent Wi-Fi which was available across the site impressively, a separate toilet and bathroom with rainfall twin shower and sinks. A bath would have been nice but not essential. One of the sink plugs didn’t work which was annoying when shaving or washing your face. Housekeeping was excellent in terms of cleaning and turndown services. The hotel grounds are very nice with extensive gardens, a headland looking over the local coast, a man made beach fronting a cove, which we liked to swim in but real beach lovers may find a little too sculpted and landscaped. There is no natural beach and we could not swim in the sea beyond the cove during our stay as it was too choppy. There are lots of loungers all over the site, whether its by the three pools, the cove or on the beach, we had no problems finding one somewhere. Reception is very friendly and efficient. They arranged taxis and a day trip for us, prices were prefixed and on the QR code information. They also arranged for us to have diet soft drinks in the minibar that were not initially in there, and booked us in for a very generous rum tasting, a star gazing event with a very informative astronomer who did a good lecture despite the sky being cloudy and the stars being obscured. On our days out they also arranged a generous picnic lunch which we could choose what we wanted in from a menu. We were delighted when Reception also allowed us to remain in our room past check out on the day we left, making things much more convenient and comfortable and a very nice last day consequently. The only downside was that our key cards stopped working at noon and we had to get them working again Check out was quick and smooth as was the collection of our bags. Overall we were very happy at The Paradise Cove, the relaxing week we were after was had and bar a few minor niggles mentioned above our stay was very good. We would be happy to stay again.

The Hotel is situated in the very north of the island. It's a good 1hr - 1h-30min transfer from the airport depending on traffic (and surprisingly there can be a lot). Keep this in mind if you like short transfers or you are considering day excursions as a lot of the sights are in the south. On arrival, despite a long journey, we immediately felt relaxed and this was the case for our whole 10 days. Our room wasn't ready as we arrived very early but they have what they call "cabins" available which are solely yours until your room is ready. They are basically large bathrooms but it allows you to shower, change and store your belongings. Note: These cabins are also made available to anyone who has a late departure and has to vacate their room as checkout is by 12 however this is not always the case, it just depends if your room is allocated or not. We managed to have a good look around anyway and our room was ready by 1pm. I didn't upgrade from the standard room and the room is more than adequate. Lots of space, storage, double showers and sinks and separate toilet. The beds are massive and super comfortable - normally we can't wait to get back to our own but not this time. Each room has a balcony or veranda. We were on the top floor of 3. The majority of rooms are on 3 levels with a small additional block where they are on 2 floors. I believe all the larger rooms are on the bottom floor. I didn't hear anyone complain about noise from above but can't comment if that's an issue. You can probably ask ahead if you'd like a top room. All rooms look out over the gardens/beach or cove. Personally not sure it's worth the extra just to have more seating in your room. There are 3 Pools, 2 near the accommodation and main buildings and 1 on the peninsula. The peninsula pool probably has the sun most of the day. The other 2 offer more shade. The Cove beach is man made as I think has been mentioned a number of times but its real/local sand if you're worried. The Cove is reasonably shallow and not many people swam when we were there. The peninsula has lots of sun loungers"love nests" dotted around and there is plenty of access into the sea. It is rocky so bring your swimming shoes. We are not pool people so spent all our time on the peninsula and swam in the sea. Note: The sea is not very clear or wasn't during our stay and it was mentioned that this is not the case in the south so if you are expecting clear seas you might not get this. However on one of the free snorkelling trips available from the hotel, the reef and fish were clearly visible. Plenty of sun beds are available and all are served by staff which you can call from your beds or you can still go up to the bars yourself. Despite it asking you not to bag beds and that your personal things would be removed, this did happen quite a bit and I don't think they ever removed peoples things. As mentioned, there are snorkelling trips available free from the hotel. They run every day and 3 of those days you meet up with some naturalists who give you a bit more detail about the reef and escort you. You can do this trip as many times as you like. There are also kayaks and pedalos and you can do some sailing at extra costs. There are other boat trips and cycling available at extra costs. There is a small adequate gym, 2 tennis courts and the Spa but we didn't use so can't comment. For eating there are 3 options available at no extra cost plus the Cove which at the time of our visit was a Fish/Lobster menu which is additional. The main restaurant is for breakfast and evening meals which are a mix of buffet and a la carte with theme nights on certain evenings. During the day the peninsula has a lunch menu from 12-3 and the main bar has a snacks menu available from after breakfast right through till dinner. You have to pre-book the peninsula and the other restaurant called XO which is Japanese/Sushi menu. We only went once to both of these but it would appear you can go as many times as you like, just as long as you book in advance. If you are on honeymoon they have an additional dining area but not sure what this menu contains. Disappointingly I would say is that these tables for honeymooners are around the pool and over looked by diners in the main restaurant. I think these meals would be more appreciated around the Cove as we experienced for the Lobster menu. I personally don't get the XO. People that enjoy must only buy supermarket sushi to rave about it. We're in Mauritius ! Id prefer it to be something local or certainly have that influence as the Mauritian and Indian nights in the main restaurant were brilliant. Or move the Cove diners to that location and give up the Cove to the honeymooners. There are 2 bars, 1 around the main building and 1 on the peninsula. Open all day but last orders is at 11 so if your're looking for late nights and partying it doesn't go on in this hotel - which seemed to suit everyone actually. Entertainment was light but again I think this was more than suitable for the ambiance. Location, If you want to get out, this is limited by foot. You can walk out onto the public beach or along the road but it's not ideal. You can hire bikes at the hotel and there are taxis that can be arranged. There is normally always one outside with a small shack which was always manned when we went out. But there's nothing local to walk out to other than the beach. The road at times, can carry some noise - unfortunately they have boy racers in Mauritius as well, but it didn't disturb us. Note: Whilst I mention the public beach, there can be quite a bit of music noise from this beach over the weekends. There is either nothing they can do about it or it's never been expressed enough as an issue to the authorities. As there is a hotel on the other side of this public beach it is surprising. I found the majority of staff amazing. There are quite a few young people working, as you may expect, but they are all being guided by the more experienced and they are all trying to do a great job. A special shout out to Manoj (Mango Daiquiris !), Jooja, Deepak and John but everyone deserves a thanks. I also didn't get his name but the gentlemen working in the grounds and doing the flower displays was always charming and probably doesn't get a mention - sorry. I would highly recommend a stay here. We didn't enjoy the distance to get out (1 day excursion for 8+hours was enough) so I'd suggest either private excursions to only 1 location at a time, hire a car and DIY or perhaps do a 2 centre as 1 couple we met had done, do the south for a week and do all the sites then have a week doing nothing at Paradise Cove.

After just 1 visit to any of the bars, restaurants or reception the Paradise Cove family knew our room number and drinks preferences. The food is spectacular in all locations, whether it be a bookable restaurant or the buffets / à la carte in The Dining Room. There is no fighting for sunbeds and so pleased to see when people tried to reserve them with towels, they were removed. Bliss. We have so many happy memories of saying our "I do" thanks to the ray of sunshine Sandhya with her pre-arrival wedding-planning help and lovely greetings during our stay. Then Kacey came into our lives as our wedding coordinator in the resort and we wanted to take her home with us, she was so organised and relaxed. Nothing was too much trouble and it was all done with such love. If you want to say "I do" in the most beautiful location with no stress, then Paradise Cove is for you. The staff are amazing, never leaving you thirsty always on hand to get you much needed refreshment The hotels cove is beautiful for relaxing the days away but personally favoured spending our days in the personal love nests that over look the Indian Ocean, absolute heaven The room we stayed in was by far the best I’ve ever stayed in, decor beautiful, double shower for couples and the large bathtub to soak away in, very comfortable bed and lovely outdoor sofa to relax and take in the days last sunshine or watch the sunset at the peninsula restaurant. We arrived to have 3 restaurants pre-booked for us which was great as we didn’t miss out on trying them. If you love sushi, the XO restaurant is amazing! I have never wanted to go back to the same hotel before, but Paradise Cove has changed that, and we can’t wait to go back again one day!

It you’re going to Mauritius as a couple you must visit this hotel. The experience is truly exceptional, the hotel staff is the most pleasant and professional people we’ve ever met - they are truly doing everything to make yout stay there perfect. The hotel location is super unique due to the cove, everything is conveniently placed around it. Even though it’s a butique hotel it has everything you need. The food is delicious and you can also attend their fine dining restaurants (most of them were included in the package) this makes the dinners even more romantic and splendid. The food is really 10/10. The rooms are incredibly beautiful and cozy. After Paradise Cove we went to another 5 star hotel in Mauritius and quickly understood ,that it doesn’t even remotely compares to what we had and kept missing our first honeymoon days at Paradise Cove. Defitely hope to get back to this amazing hotel someday.

We stayed at Paradise Cove for two weeks for our honeymoon at the end of April/start of May. It was absolutely perfect and we were so sad to leave at the end, it truly is a paradise. AMENITIES AND ACTIVITES The hotel was absolutely stunning and had everything we could have wanted, including plenty of water sports (we did a two person kayak, the glass bottom boat and the snorkelling trip, all of which are free - note you need to book the boat and snorkelling beforehand at the boat house, we did this the day before and had no issues). For the snorkelling they take you out to the reef and give you the equipment FYI - it was beautiful. There are tennis courts which we used lots, these need to be booked but it’s very easy to do so at the reception and we always got the time we wanted (you can also buy the tennis balls but the rackets are free to borrow). There is also a small gym with towels, water fountain, air con, and lots of equipment. We did the full day pirogue trip and I’d highly recommend it. We went to a small island which is a nature reserve, then did snorkelling around the mangroves (this is quite shallow water which you can stand up in so it’s good for beginners or people scared of the deeper water), then went to another beautiful island for a beach barbecue with lobster (which was delicious). Jerome and his daughter were excellent guides and they were well stocked up with beers! Tip: bring lots of sun cream! ROOM We had the standard Deluxe room which for us was on the top floor and had a balcony facing out onto the cove. This felt private because the tree line was in front of the balcony, which also meant little birds were a common sight! The room was stunning and big enough for the two of us for two weeks. The wardrobe is inside the bathroom section, however don’t worry as the toilet is in a separate room. The toilet also has a bidet hose. The shower is a double shower so it’s enormous. Housekeeping came to clean the rooms every day and change towels and restock the minibar. They do give bottles of water however towards the end we felt that they did not give us enough (but it wasn’t a problem as you can ask for bottles at every bar). Overall I was really happy with the room and it was clean and pretty. POOLS/BEACH There are three pools: the main pool (which is next to the Stay bar and main dining room), the lengths pool (which is in front of the rooms) and the peninsula pool (which is up the steps to the Peninsula and which was our favourite location because of the STUNNING view of Gunners Quoin and the fresh breeze). We could always find a sunbed there was no shortage whatsoever. The lagoon is sea water and as you’d expect also has fish/crabs/the odd eel in. It is still lovely to have a dip in and it’s fun watching the fish jump out of the water! This lagoon goes onto the beach which is a man made beach - please know this before booking as I have seen some people be disappointed as they have not researched! It is completely private and though it’s small it’s lovely. There are some fountains that lead into the lagoon with little sections that you can go into, which is fun. There are ‘love nests’ dotted around the peninsula and next to the lagoon which have varying levels of cover but all of which have a button you can press to get drinks delivered. This can take quite a while so we’d recommend pressing a bit before you need a drink. They are lovely and private and some will provide shelter from the sun depending on the time of day (or protect from any occasional showers!) FOOD For us the food was one of the main reasons we booked Paradise Cove, and it did not disappoint. Everything we ate was delicious. Breakfast is served in the main dining hall every morning and is buffet style. There is a cold room containing cheese and meats as well as smoked salmon (and smoked marlin which we’d recommend), as well as yoghurts and fruits. The rest of the buffet then has the hot food (including a pancake station), the breads/pastries, and an egg station where they cook any eggs you like to order. We had the eggs Benedict here often (they do a smoked marlin eggs Benedict which is really good!) There are juices and coffees/teas to order. Lunch Lunch is either at the Peninsula restaurant (for more of a multi-course sit down meal) or you can get food at the Stay bar (burgers, salads, paninis etc). The Peninsula lunch was incredible and had beautiful views. Some of the best food we had was here, eg the fish curry (would highly recommend), or the octopus carpaccio or beef carpaccio - all of which were delicious with a beer or with a Takamaka (lychee wine) rosé. Service was fast and attentive (shout out to Deepak and Sangeetha for their amazing service!) Dinner You can eat dinner at the main dining room without reservation every day, which serves a mixture of buffet and a la carte depending on which day it is (they sometimes did starter and dessert a la carte but main buffet). The food here is brilliant and is miles ahead of what you normally get in a buffet. Some of our best nights were at the themed buffets - they have an Indian buffet, a Mauritian buffet and a Barbecue buffet each week and the food is amazing. The Mauritian buffet even had sea urchin, oysters, and the incredible octopus carpaccio. The barbecue night had the most amazing squid, and they had loads of sushi and ceviche (if, like us, you like raw fish you are in the right place!) There are then three special restaurants that you can book (these get booked up very quickly - if you are only staying for a week I’d recommend emailing to book in advance of your stay or you might not be able to go to them). These are Peninsula (note: it has a different menu for dinner than for lunch - you only need to book for dinner), XO and the Cove (the latter of which is not included in the All Inclusive and which serves tasting menus). We went to each of these restaurants twice during our stay and all were incredible. Some dishes which stand out in our memory are the Dobin Mushi soup in XO (and their sushi), the smoked lamb loin and taro crusted prawns at Peninsula. We did both the vegan tasting menu, and the lobster menu at the Cove and they were both highlights of the trip. Francesco was great at presenting each dish and topping us up with wine, and the setting is lovely (the Cove tables are the little covered ones which overlook the lagoon, and as there is a lot of distance between these you get complete privacy). We were surprised by how delicious the vegan menu was (as you can tell we’re not vegan!) in particular we loved the seaweed and cucumber soup. The lobster menu was incredible and you get a lot of it, it’s truly delicious. If you are on the honeymoon package you also get a meal by the main pool which is also very tasty (the soups and sea bass were delicious). BARS There are two bars that we went to, the Stay bar and the Peninsula bar. The Stay bar is busiest after dinner and they always had some kind of live music playing (and we saw an Indian show and a Mauritian show there with dancers etc). The Pensinula bar is right next to the restaurant and was our favourite during sunset. Twice a week (the days seem to change so check at reception) they do Sundowner there, where you can watch the sunset with a DJ playing music, and they also offer tapas (the prawns would be our recommendation). We loved it so much that we would come to watch the sunset here most nights with a cocktail or sparkling wine. The quality of the alcohol in the all inclusive package is great and we never felt that the drinks were at all watered down. They can sometimes take a while to come (and the staff can sometimes take a long time to take your order, but to be fair you can also go up to the bar), which is understandable when you are ordering multiple cocktails. The pina colada was very good, as well as the New Rum Fashion (like an old fashioned but with rum - very good and lethal!) They really know their rum (as shown by Dev’s excellent knowledge at the rum tasting), and I certainly managed to drink enough! The included wines are also very good, and they have draught beer. Overall we had an unforgettable time at Paradise Cove and would love to come back. One particular moment that we found very lovely was that the staff brought out a birthday cake on our final morning (as it was my birthday - not that we had mentioned it at all to them!) I was really touched by this as the staff were so kind and it was a perfect way to end the trip. What a fantastic place, we stayed 9 nights at the beginning of May to celebrate my 60th. We stayed on the All Inclusive package and it was ideal, this included all food except for the Cove restaurant and a great selection of drinks, both international and local. The main restaurant is a buffet restaurant with some table service and the food here is great, with themed evenings on different days, you will always find something you like. The Peninsula and XO restaurant are also very good and the XO has great sushi. We also tried The Cove ( this is extra ) for my 60th and had the lobster menu, excellent meal and very nice setting with tables set over the water. The rooms are wonderful and are kept spotless. The grounds and the 3 pools are excellent, there is plenty of space and you can always find a sun bed or gazebo free no matter the time of day. The atmosphere is very laid back and relaxed, there is low key entertainment on most nights at the main Stay bar and the cocktails are good. A special thank you to Dev for a great rum tasting, included in the package, we had a lot of rum. We tried the spa which is again excellent and I had a hot stone massage, very relaxing. There is a lovely pool and chill out area in the spa you can use at any time if you want some extra quiet time. There's a small gym which we used a couple of times which is well equipped for its size for both cardio and weights. We enjoyed the sunset from the Peninsula bar on several evenings, sometimes with a DJ and some chill out vibes. We did the snorkelling trip out to the reef, a great way to spend a few hours, it rained a bit but we were getting wet anyway and its always warm. We booked the optional E Bike tours and catamaran trip and these were great fun, well organised and a good way to see some other parts of the island. We would highly recommend this hotel for a lovely relaxing break.

We had an unforgettable two-week stay at this beautiful hotel in Mauritius. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and professionalism of the staff stood out. Every detail is thoughtfully taken care of – from the daily flower arrangements in water bowls (clearly done with pride by the grounds staff), to the spotless upkeep of the entire property. Our room maid, Devianee and her colleague, was fantastic and looked after us with great care. The restaurant staff work incredibly hard, especially the two ladies running the busy egg station each morning – Asha and Anastasia – always friendly and efficient, a pleasure to see each day. Eduardo at the Peninsula Bar was another highlight: friendly, hardworking, and a real asset to the hotel. In the main restaurant, Jonathan and Sangeeta were outstanding – nothing was ever too much trouble. The gym is excellent – clean, modern, and well-equipped with both free weights and cardio machines. The coffee in the rooms (and throughout the island) is fantastic. A few practical notes: the hotel is in a quiet area, and while a supermarket is just a 5-minute taxi away, taxis can be expensive. Walking isn’t ideal due to narrow roads and no pavements. So it might be worth considering a hire car if you plan to get out and about a lot. Also, if you’re half-board, note that wine by the glass is more expensive than in the UK, though cocktails are reasonably priced and the local beer is good value. Overall, a fantastic stay – peaceful, spotlessly clean, and made truly special by the people who work there. A quick note on the weather (unrelated to the hotel): We visited from the 7-21st June and, although we stayed in the north of the island, it was quite windy with short but frequent rain showers. Most days were overcast, though the rain never lasted long. If you’re after guaranteed sunshine, it may be worth considering a visit during the island’s peak season. That said, if you prefer more comfortable temperatures and don’t mind a bit of wind, June can still be a pleasant time to go.

A Truly Perfect Honeymoon at Paradise Cove We had the most amazing honeymoon at Paradise Cove in Mauritius,it was everything we dreamed of and more! The hotel is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the blue sea, beautiful nature all around, and peaceful infinity pools that make you feel like you’re in paradise. Our room was perfect,spacious, cozy, and cleaned twice a day, which made everything feel extra special and cared for. There are four fantastic restaurants at the resort, and every meal was a treat. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. We also want to give a big shoutout to our waiter Yodish “Yoda” he made the best cocktails and was always so kind, friendly, and humble. He really added to our experience. Another person who truly stood out was the gardener, Veeren. Every day, we saw the incredible flower art he created around the hotel. You could see how much love and passion he put into his work, and it made each day feel magical. All the staff were just amazing.. so kind, helpful, and always smiling. They speak great English, and it felt like the hotel had thought of every little detail to make our stay perfect. Special thanks to Kimberly,Asha and Nitesh, and of course all the other lovely people who helped make our honeymoon unforgettable. We’ll definitely be recommending Paradise Cove to all our friends and family. It was a dream come true, truly a little slice of paradise!
