Strongly recommend! Great place to stay and a cozy quiet atmosphere but still a few minutes away from the beach. Fabio our host was super prompt in helping us with any questions and some great restaurant recommendations. Access to the beach was great and that too at one of the best beach clubs with really good cocktails and food. Thanks Fabio for making our stay memorable and smooth.

We spent 3 nights at El Corazon Boutique Hotel as part of our honeymoon. They made it such a special trip from the minute we arrived. The room, the breakfast, the staff, and the beach club you can access were all 10/10! The beach is so close but far enough that’s it’s very quiet in the evening too. 100% recommend.

There are so many things that make this hotel fantastic, it's hard to know where to start. The most important item to me was cleanliness and this hotel aces that factor. The facility is small, quiet and quaint. The breakfast is divine and the views from the rooftop eating area are beautiful and relaxing. To really enjoy relaxation time, there are several locations with hammocks and hanging chairs that create cozy spaces of rest. We are empty nesters and this was a perfect hotel and location. It is close enough to walk to everything yet far enough away from the late-night party noises.

From the very first email, we could feel the love and care that went into making our stay special. The warm welcome set the tone for a truly wonderful experience, and the attention to detail was evident in everything—from the beautifully designed space to the thoughtful service of the entire team. The location is ideal, close enough to the beach and the heart of the island while still feeling like a tranquil retreat. One of the best parts was the hotel’s partnership with a stunning beach club , where we loved lounging in the sun or relaxing in the shade. Breakfast was a highlight, offering delicious and healthy options to start the day right. The atmosphere, both in our room and throughout the hotel, was peaceful and inviting—perfect for unwinding and soaking in the island’s beauty. El Corazon is more than just a hotel; it’s an experience filled with warmth, kindness, and a true island vibe. We can’t wait to return!

The owners of the hotel have thought of every detail and you instantly feel the special quality when you step out of taxi! We did not want to leave! It is hard to out into words the atmosphere this place exudes, but we stayed at another property the 2nd half of our stay(only because this hotel Didn’t have availability) and we felt like no one cared we were at their resort. It was night and day difference. From the beautiful rooms to the amazing breakfast, beach passes to the beach beach club, we had not one complaint!

We were amazed at the level of detail and customer attention at El Corazón. From the check-in experience to the thoughtfulness of the incredible rooms (bed, bathroom, coffee maker, small touches, even the nice smells), the breakfast (limited choices but amazing service and terrace atmosphere) to check-out, Cinzia and her team (Fabio, Sonia and others) have the boutique hotel experience and comforts down to the T. The place is beautifully designed and immaculately clean! It’s walkable to the beach (ten minutes) and the beach club pass is a major plus. We will come back.

Very nice, small hotel with great breakfasts and helpful staff. Location is good; not right in town but not too far away for walkingto restaurants. Beach club is close by and comfortable. We felt very well taken care of and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Me and my partner had the best 5 days in Holbox in El Corazon hotel. First of all, the hotel itself is so beautiful with lots of plants and pretty interior. We loved attention to the details in our room (amazing shower gel, shampoo and soaps). People who work in the hotel are super friendly and sweet. They would pack us a lunch box to take with us whenever we had to skip breakfast and would always check in the evening if we needed a beach pass for the next day. Our most favourite part was the beach Mawimbi. The sunsets there are to die for and it is super peaceful and relaxing for couples and families. I would recommend Barquito beach restaurant for lunch and dinner as well as drinks. We tried quite a few places and this was definitely at the top of our list. The only regret I have is not booking this hotel for a longer time!

El Corazon boutique hotel embodies hospitality to the max. There is so much care and love that goes into keeping this hotel beautiful and super clean. The staff is so kind, gracious, and responsive. We felt so taken care of and can’t wait to come back! The beach club you get passes to is stunning and our favorite part of the beach on Holbox. There are also birds and little frogs and lizards around the property it feels like such a special setting integrated with nature.

This is a small place with an amazing vibe. There’s a lovely garden in the middle, a balcony/terrace for lounging in hammocks, visiting, and chilling with your preferred beverage, and it’s located just far enough away from the tourist center to be quiet but close enough for an easy 10 min walk to the main town center/park. The service was impeccable. They were friendly and helpful every day. All the staff talked to us and, when asked, offered advice and suggestions for all sorts of things. Stand outs: A) this was an anniversary trip (25 years!) and they decorated the room to welcome us. It was a great surprise to start the stay. B) The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I’ve ever had. I’m 6’6” and 225 and like a medium-to-firm mattress and a thick pillow. Check! C) The bathroom is stocked with great products, all natural and Mexican made. D) The room had a mini-split system and ceiling fans, all with working remote controls. It was perfect for keeping the place conditioned to our preferences. C) Breakfast is included and is served on the roof, which is three floors up. The food was delicious and fresh every day. Go up there to watch the sunrise, there’s basically nothing but jungle and mangrove from this roof as far as you can see to the east, at least it looks that way from up there. D) The room comes with daily passes to Mawimbi Beach Club, which turned out to be key. WE WILL RETURN!

The best place we stayed in Mexico! This small hotel boasts hot showers, a comfy bed and all the team are lovely and have a 100% focus on the guest experience, which will make your stay feel really special. The breakfasts were delicious and the whole set up including the decor is well thought out. We owe a big thank you to "Inspector Fabbio", who managed to locate my husband's phone in one of the many yellow taxi buggies. These kind of proper boutique spots are what makes Holbox so special. Thank you for a gorgeous stay!

We just returned from 4 days staying at El Corazon Boutique Hotel. While it takes time and effort to get to Isla Holbox , this hotel stands out for the attention to details it offers. Holbox is unique and so is this hotel. Don’t hesitate booking at El Corazon Boutique Hotel and here are my 5 reasons why : 1) Room charge includes access to Mawimbi Beach Club - one of the best beach clubs on the island with a top rated beach restaurant 2) Quiet location , just outside of town - 10 minutes to town , 5 minutes to the beach 3) Sonia and Fabio head up the team that runs the hotel and keeps it in tiptop shape - they reach out to you before your arrival via WhatsApp - help arrange transportation to the island and are visible and available all day for advice / ideas 4) This is a small hotel with only 11 rooms - several rooms have a terrace and hammock and are worth paying a bit more - all the rooms are clean, have wonderful mattress and pillows and are well planned with lots of space and amazing art 5***** On the rooftop overlooking the area they serve a truly amazing European style breakfast with 4 different choices : Mexican , American , Italian and Healthy

Our 3 night experience at the Corazon Boutique Hotel “Adults Only” was excellent! The staff: friendly, charming and kind in all areas, always with time for a chat, a recommendation or help with a question.... The Breakfast prepared fresh every morning and served on the Terrace overlooking the Nature Reserve is a pleasure.... The possibility to use the Beach Club (100 meters from the hotel) is an excellent option to enjoy the sea... I do not want to fail to mention the beautiful decor, comfort and good cleanliness of the room ... The tranquility of the place, the garden and the possibility to reach in 10 minutes walking to the bars and restaurants of the center..... All this makes the hotel highly recommended! We will come back on our next trip to Holbox, THANK YOU very much to all the team! Keep up your service, your smiles, your sympathy and your heart for the guests!

We loved staying at El Corazón Boutique Hotel. The staff was incredibly helpful and communicative, the included breakfast was great, and the hotel was clean and quiet. It was nice to be a short walk to the beach club. The street you have to walk to get to the beach is not in good condition, but that has nothing to do with El Corazón, just something to be aware of about the island. We would love to return to El Corazón!

This hotel was amazing ! It’s very quaint and serene. The stand out for us was their amazing customer service. The entire team was communicative and helped us with our tours and getting taxis throughout the stay. Breakfast was exceptional as well. You will be well taken care of here !

Sonia and her team at El Corazón delivered impeccable service and an incredible, comfortable experience. The entire property was spotless and clean, all team members were warm and welcoming, the beds were comfortable and the food was fresh and delicious. The location was convenient with just a short walk to the beach and to restaurants and shopping. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful escape at a very reasonable price!

We just returned from a remarkable stay at El Corazòn Boutique Hotel! Everything was perfect about this place. From the helpful pre-arrival communication and arrangements until our last taxi ride back to the ferry to leave, we were treated with great care and attention! Our room was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. The daily breakfast was delicious and served with the brightest smiles. Any question or concern we had was immediately attended to. The entire staff treated us like family. This hotel is as described, with easy access to a shared beach club-whose staff was equally as welcoming and helpful.
