this resort is top tier, the staff is also so incredible and really make the experience. our concierge man Angel was truly an angel and helped us with everything as well as sending an itinerary every day which was great. the entertainment staff was also so fun and made the days filled with things to do, crafts, food making, volleyball! it was all amazing and I highly recommended this place

Been to many Secrets Resorts, Maroma is by far my favorite. Beautiful Tropical location and not a long trip from Cancun airport . Very well kept and quiet ! Our room was spotless and was tended to everyday and night . Never had to ask for anything , Michelle was great ! Our concierge Roger, was very friendly and professional. He checked in with us everyday and was able to answer any questions we might have . We loved hanging out in the Preferred Club lounge . The bartenders took very good care of us, especially Clere, she was great . We dined at every restaurant at least once . Food was delicious and service was excellent. The entire staff, entertainment team , waiters , pool staff , etc were amazing . This was our second time at Maroma and will definitely be returning! Try it you won’t be disappointed!

Our vacation to Secrets Maroma Beach was nothing short of spectacular. From start to finish, the staff were beyond incredible at making our experience one we will never forget. We were in the preferred club, and our concierge Roberto was phenomenal. We were celebrating a baby moon and he personally drew a banner to help us celebrate this. Beyond that, anything we needed he was on it instantly - truly one of the kindest people we have ever met. We really enjoyed the preferred amenities including the preferred lounge and preferred lunch area. Mateo from the preferred lunch space on the beach was the best! I will say if you are thinking of coming and not doing the preferred club, you get the exact same great experience. Only difference is you don’t get private check in, access to a couple of lunch / breakfast spots or the preferred lounge which is just more high end alcohol selection. The beach is the exact same on both sides and the staff don’t treat you any differently. We spent most of our days around the main pool. We liked how we never had trouble finding a pool chair each morning and did not have to get up at the crack of dawn to secure one. By noon it was pretty busy, but overall tons of space. Alejandra from the entertainment team was the best, definitely partake in her events she puts on including pool volleyball, pool basketball, mini golf, etc. Luis the pool concierge was also very helpful to find spots and put towels and umbrellas up for you. The beach - it is all it is cracked up to be. Unreal views and amazing sand. Unfortunately, it was seaweed season which we knew coming in, so we couldn’t swim in the ocean at all. But overall, it is still one of the best in Mexico. On the food side, all of it was incredible. The tacos and the preferred lunch restaurant were our choice almost everyday. But they have so many options for lunch including local cuisines that change each day. For dinner, there are 7 dining options at night and all are great. French (Bordeaux) was our favourite for the experience and the food. Nicoletta and Francesco were unbelievable, honestly have never had such great service and they went above and beyond to make us feel so special. On our last night, they made us a special dessert to celebrate our babymoon. All dining options are great and would recommend trying all of them if time permits. We loved our stay and would absolutely return. The resort is worth all 5 stars, and some.

I went to Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun resort with my family in June 2026 and I had the absolute best time! Everything about this resort says luxury, relaxation and care. I cannot articulate how much this hotel puts in the extra care and detail into every aspect of your time there with them. We received fresh and scented towels to cool our faces with on arrival as well as welcome champagne. This just gives an insight into how the rest of the holiday would go. We were escorted to our hotel room via a golf cart and when I requested for an extra bed they were back at our door within 5 minutes, I've never seen hospitality like this before I was so pleasantly surprised! The hotel room featured a rainfall shower and a jacuzzi style bath which was beautiful. Room service was available all night into the early hours of the morning, as well ad throughout the day so you have the option of eating breakfast in your hotel room if you ever wished for this. The hotel had an itinerary jam packed full of activities to partake in throughout the day you can check the app to see the activities for the week so you can pre-plan what you want to do from yoga, to kayaking and pool volley bool. I want to say that all of the staff including the waiters, coffee servers, concierges, and entertainment team were such lovely people with helpful and attentive spirits. They really truly cared about making our trip as enjoyable as possible and no request was ever too much for them, they work so hard and are such selfless people who were like friends to us. Unfortunately I cannot remember all of their names but to mention a few there was Alejandra Lopez, Monica Lopez, Angel (concierge of block 23), Isabelle (entertainment team), Clarry in the lobby the list goes on. There is a beautiful spa at the hotel which unfortunately we did not get to experience as we spent our money on trips to Xcaret and Xplor but it looked so serene and relaxing when we took the tour inside there. Although we had the pleasure of receiving a massage on the beach which was just as good and hit all the right spots which was secured through a package we purchased as a present for our Mum's 60th birthday which she thoroughly enjoyed. I would highly recommend taking a look at the packages that are listed as Culinary Experiences on the Secrets Maroma Beach app also known as the Hyatt Inclusive Collection app. They offer romantic meals on the beach, cabana beds on the beach with complementary champagne and waiter service, exclusive dinners by the pool, this resort really fills all of the stops as I said and they put so much care and thought into ensuring that everything you could ever want or need is included in their menus and deals. This was a holiday one could only dream of and I am so grateful to have been to this resort in Mexico and to have met all of the lovely people who represent Mexico. Much love, Curtis

Myself and a large group of friends just got back from this resort and had an amazing time. The service was great and the staff for the most part was super friendly. Food and drink were also very good. A few complaints that I have are minor: They did have construction going on during most of our stay which was a little inconvenient but definitely didn’t ruin the trip. The main pool that has the swim up-pool bar (a favorite of our group) was nice but small and the bottom surface was very rough and grainy. The biggest disappointment of the trip which is out of the control of the resort is the quality of water at the beach. Normally, we spend a lot of time at the beach and I myself spend most of my time in the water snorkeling. There was none of that for this trip as the water was brown and full of seaweed. It being summer and the sarcasm being as bad as it is, we did have a feeling this would be the case, but we didn’t think it would affect the actual color and clarity of the water. We just thought the seaweed would be on the beach and floating on the surface. We would still recommend this resort as the food, service and activities were all great. Just be cautious of the time of year when you book in Mexico as the Sargasm is a big problem and could affect your beach going experience.

This was our 5th trip to SM and we had an amazing time. We weren't sure what to expect weather-wise, being there in July, but to our surprise it was not bad at all. The rain cooled things down and the constant ocean breeze made it comfortable enough to be out in the sun. Guillermo was our concierge in building 17 and we can't say enough about how attentive he was to us. He has gotten to know us a bit and served us before we could even ask. Brandon too from building 27. Paula helped us with upgrading to the Governor's suite, which is an incredible room. It's very private even tho it's on the first floor. And the swim-out pool is really nice, even just to look at. It's private and quiet even tho it's shared with a couple other rooms. Thanks to Edy at the pool who greeted us every morning, and our amazing server Marvin, and Alberto Carrera at the pool, all fantastic at what they do. I especially loved getting my sunglasses cleaned every day. Leo, head of entertainment works so hard making sure everyone is satisfied with the arts and entertainment, both day and night. Special thanks to Rodrigo and Jessica for all they did for us making sure our food experience was the best ever - over the top as usual. And super thanks to chef Juan Mora who made us the most amazing surf-n-turf meal that we could never get anywhere in the states! The chefs are incredible at what they do. We are so thankful to everyone who served us. We really enjoyed the shows at the theater, esp the Rock Show, and the Fire Show was incredible to see. Very talented artists. On this trip we were never able to stay up late enough to make it to the club afterward, but the shows were outstanding. We were always surprised at how many pool loungers are available. We've been to so many different resorts and that's one thing there never seemed enough of - pool loungers. But the pool concierges could always manage to find empty spots for us, even if we got there later. Both my husband and I were very happy with the drinks we got served. Even in the heat the service was quick and the drinks came cold. The food was also amazing. I've read reviews saying that the food is mediocre and we totally disagree. For us, the food is one of the main reasons to go! I sincerely don't understand how people could think otherwise. We already have other trips planned to visit again. It's a different experience every time we go, and it never gets old. It's also really nice to see familiar faces too, and they are always so happy to see us and to make everything so special. We appreciate it so very much. Looking forward to the next trip!

Secrets Maroma exceeded every expectation we had. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, we felt truly pampered. The staff treated us with genuine kindness; the resort was absolutely beautiful and spotless, and every meal we had was delicious. The pools are beautiful, and the spa was one of the highlights of our trip. Every detail made us feel like we were on a dream vacation. The trip was especially meaningful because it was the honeymoon we never had, and Secrets Maroma made it unforgettable. We came home relaxed, refreshed, and already talking about when we can return. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made our stay so special. If you are looking for a romantic, luxurious getaway, we can't recommend Secrets Maroma enough!

We had a very relaxing week at Secrets Maroma. The team helped us with any reservations and helped us coordinate an all-day driver to Puerto Morales and the cenotes. Roger made sure we always had coffee in the morning (just ask) and helped us organize everything. The only part that slightly took away from the experience was all the options to up charge. They were clearly stated, but it just felt like there was always something extra. And the check in experience was very long and consistently pushed the vacation club breakfast.

This property is amazing, the staff is well conversed no issues with communication. The room was above my expectations. It was absolutely gorgeous and comfortable. The best part was the staff. Everyone me and husband came in contact with was very friendly, helpful and supportive. Especially our concierge Roger. He greeted us and always checked on us to see if we needed anything. One time I went down to get ice, he replied to me not to take over his job. He will do that for us. It was just ice and he let us know he was there for us in whatever we needed. I also want to say thank you to Mauricio, Julio, and so many others I can’t name but, this property is a 10 and you won’t be disappointed.

We had an amazing anniversary trip to Secrets Maroma! The resort was stunning and the staff were incredible. We wanted to give a special shoutout to Roberto our concierge in building 25, as he was one of the nicest people and willing to go above and beyond in his job. He really wants everyone to have a great time and that shows. Also, William at Seaside was our favorite waiter, fantastic at his job and just nice to have a conversation with. We highly recommend Secrets Maroma to anyone who wants a relaxing time in a beautiful location, with superb service.

The most amazing stay and location, unable to fault it. The staff are second to none. The team at breakfast Freddie, Alejandro, Roberto and Lucio always met us with a smile. Hugo, Mr G and the poolside lunch team were also incredible. There was always such a vibrant atmosphere, created by the incredible activities team (special thanks to Daniel, Angel, Oscar, Emmy, Alejandra). The dining experience at night was always outstanding and we had great service from Hector, Gabriel, Angel, Salvador and William during our stay! We tried every restaurant and loved all. Our room was beautiful and so spacious, with a fabulous view and the housekeeping team provided a great turn down service. The le labo toiletries are a great touch. Can’t thank the secrets team enough for our experience, we were celebrating an anniversary and birthday and can’t wait to come back.
