Communication between staff is also a problem here as we had to relay our experience with everyone. A visit to Curacao for my birthday ended up as a disasters. Jason was beyond excellent, made our and other guests stay less bitter with his cocktail creations and great personality. Jjon also bartender was very attentive. Latoya, the day Bartender was always energetic and had a smile on her face even though we could clearly see she was overburdened with work. The entertainment: Livi, Jessi violinist played on Thursday has so much talent, and Jeidy the singer such of great voice. Lake, Max, and Dominique, these 3 young men always with a smile, very professional, drove us from Zoetry to Dreams. Pro: big rooms well kept Cons: There are only 2 restaurants in the entire hotel and they are not open every day. The food is horrendous always cold my husband ordered a sirloin steak and he got a flank steak with cold potatoes when he asked the Chef Marco that he made a mistake with the steak Marco turned his back on my husband and didn't even acknowledged his presence or his complaints in addition i ordered a simple two hard boiled eggs and a coke im still waiting for my breakfast. The hotel has a post that you can have T bone steak, Ribye steak and lobster at an extra charge however the hotel have to get the meat frozen from their sister's hotel Dreams which is also a nightmare if feel like you are in Junior high school waiting on line to get a meal. We went to several restaurants at Dreams and never ate there because the line was so long that was beyond ridiculous. After paying a ridiculous amount of money for 10 days stay we ended up eating in restaurants outside the hotel and going to other beaches because the one that they advertised in their website is horrendous.The hotel is short of staff, if a guest wants a drink by the pool there's noone to bring it to you. You have to go to the pool bar and get yourself. If you want to get towels or a pool chair, good luck there was no clean towels or chairs and no staff to get it for guests. Two days before we checked out they ran out of regular drinking water by the pool, and it was pretty hot weather. You won't find one after 830am. The resort advertised itself as"Set in a beautiful tropical paradise, ground yourself as you reconnect with nature in this 72 luxury suite haven. Bask in harmony surrounded by a natural, calming motif and lush foliage" This is a complete lie the original Zoetry was all the above 14 years ago a paradise for adults I was in complete shock when I saw toddlers screaming their lungs out and asking myself if I was in the correct resort. I don't have anything against children. My husband is a pediatrician. However, when we go on vacation, tranquility and peace are what we look for. Lastly, management was invisible GM Shurandy even though many guest complaints was always MIa and Alba I believe is a front desk supervisor never resolved any guests complaints and always had a bad attitude. The Hyatt needs serious management not people that are hiding from guests because they don't want to hear constructive criticism. Lastly if you want peace a quiet this is the wrong place.

Stayed at Zoetry Curacao from 2/22/25-3/2/25. Very disappointed with the hotel. Showers were cold, whirlpool was not hot or working, food was awful. Service was extremely slow. Kids including one in diapers in the pool. Not a peaceful place. Not enough beach chairs or towels. The only good thing we could say was housekeeping which did an outstanding job. Servers were stressed due to understaffing and lack of management support. Drinks were terrible/bartenders had trouble making basic drinks. No top shelf liquor. Spa advertised treatments but could not provide them as they did not have the correct supplies. Resort ran out of supplies at the end of the week such as bottled water, hash browns, shrimp, including optional choices eg steaks and lobster advertised but unavailable, etc.

Zoetry is over priced and I would not recommend to anyone unless you want to just sleep and drink at the bar with Justin only. The pros: The atmosphere is beautiful; Very zen like; you don’t have to fight for pool chairs and gives rain forest vibes overall very peaceful. The rooms are well maintained and clean. The bartender Justin was amazing. They have tea time, wine tasting and Zumba which is awesome as well. The cons: Zoetry does not have beach access you must go to Dreams Resort; the WHITE comforters were clean however stained as if red Grenadine was wasted and could not come out; all entertainment will be held at Dreams Resort; the pool bartender was nice but did not know how to make cocktails and everytime we asked for a specific cocktail the pool bar didn’t have it or it was frozen therefore he was unable to make the cocktail; AND above all food staff (cooks and waitresses) are HORRIBLE there is no hospitality; the cooks some of them don’t wear uniforms and have major attitudes (lack of professionalism at an all time high): takes forever to get a Cesar salad (45 mins if not longer); if you ask for anything the food staff will get an attitude and VERY disrespectful; hygiene and sanitation around the food while cooking NON EXISTENT - they use no gloves; we saw one of the cooks, continuously go back and forth, licking his hand and touching the pots the food was in, while fixing mashed potatoes for guest along with mashing rice with their bare hands and giving to guest; we had to eat at DREAMS due to the lack of food, hygiene and professionalism; Ordering Room service non existent as they didn’t have anything worth mentioning on the menu. For the amount of amount of money paid, they need to rectify the situation as our valentines was def. Not up to standard with Zoetry —I will tell anyone who ask to GO SOME PLACE ELSE as this resort def. Pinches pennies; I could go on but………..

Such gracious wonderful People that work here with a beautiful resort and wonderful food! We felt so welcome! The bartenders Jason and Dion made our nights so fun. They had fabulous personalities and master skills in the art of cocktail making. Both bars were quant yet so lively. All the staff here from waitresses to greeters and golf cart chauffeurs give 100 percent. Thank you all.

Our room was neat and clean the whole time. most of the workers are a bit stand offish. until you get to know them. but overall we would not return due to extremely poor management. the workers have no guidance whatsoever. most are on their phones while working. but we did meet some nice workers that went above and beyond- Pool bartender: Dyon and Latoya and pool waitress Chandra. Lobby bar- Jason. Also bartender Kiki. Pool restaurant service: Ruth. Evening Chef Alejandro- the best meals were made by him. We also appreciated Shannon, Sjari, Mignetee,Imaisha. And the best golf cart driver: "Three". he was awesome!! We had access to Dreams and Il Mare across the street. Overall we enjoyed our vacation here. we rented a car and left 5 days. We just wished the service was better. The place is older, the street is on the other side of the wall by the pool with busy and noisy traffic. It would look so pretty if they strung lights by the pool during the evening, or some lights on the trees. and they have a nice lobby, but there is zero attention to it. have a piano playing, or a violin at night. something!! most people head to Dreams at night because there is nothing to do here. I don't need loud party stuff, but simple music or something to draw people to the lobby and bar there to socialize. if the management is changed and workers respect their managers and actually come to work- this place would be such a nice relaxing place. we hope they make some changes!

We took a chance given all of the bad reviews. One of us even went so far as to email the General Manager with concerns over the reviews before we left. A standard response was received and we seriously considered cancelling multiple times. We should have. It was a very disappointing experience. Both of us really wanted to give Zoetry Curaçao a higher rating but we just could not. Our general approach to any place we stay is to roll with the punches. You will find issues everywhere. And complaints are very rare from the two of us. The issues here were too glaring, too consistent and too numerous to ignore. And we felt it important for anyone considering staying to know just how serious the issues are. We’ve been going to Zoetry resorts for over 10 years and clearly love what they’re doing. To call this resort “Zoetry” is only hurting the name. If this were my first time at a Zoetry, this would have be the last time. We both felt like the employees went out of their way to make this an enjoyable stay. Absolutely every one of them bent over backward, were as lovely and as accommodating as they possibly could be under the circumstances. There were just not enough of them to keep everything going. The website touts a “poolside grill, international restaurant and new Italian restaurant” as well as three bars. Those do all exist. But they were not all up and running. And the Italian restaurant is actually at Dreams, not Zoetry. We did not venture over for meals. The posted hours for dining were not accurate. We consistently arrived at least 30 minutes before opening (we are hungry folks!). Given there was only one restaurant open every day, the menu was the same every day, every meal. Our very first meal was dinner at Bloom and all three entrees were cold. The desserts were clearly days old and not made on site. The brownie was a 3x3” square that was about 1/4” thick. The poolside grill served food twice during our 4-night stay, once for lunch and once for dinner. Dinner featured an “elevated” dining experience. Food was served precooked, out of heated pans. The bar and coffee bar in the lobby area was hit or miss. Mostly miss, with either no one available or someone who had no experience making drinks and/or working the espresso machine. The wine bar was completely empty. It looked as if it hadn’t been used in a very long time. The pool bar was the most consistent. They ran out of limes after day 1. There was no poolside service. At all. And they ran out of pool towels. Room service was its own mess. Items were either completely missing or not available. We got a single napkin for the two of us every order. And we did request two after the first time. There was no syrup for the pancakes and no salt and pepper. We asked for toast and peanut butter one day. The toast was not toasted and they had no peanut butter. The wait times were not an issue for us but we did only order breakfast. Other “smaller” details that were advertised, and available at other Zoetry’s we’ve stayed were missing here. Daily bottle of sparkling wine and fresh fruit tray. There was a bottle on ice on arrival with three old apples. No additional bottle or fruit. Mini bar restocked twice daily. It was restocked once a day at most. One day it was not restocked. Cleanliness was not an issue for us. Though there were a few spots of mold on the shower floor which was not concerning. The facility is very nice and rooms well appointed. Many staff inquired about our stay and wanted to know what we thought about everything. They seemed concerned that many people complained about their stay. It did feel odd for them to ask. They were all so nice! We went on two day trips we set up ourselves and both of the guides told us they only hear bad things about Zoetry. They said it’s one of the few resorts that people consistently complain about. We would both return to Curaçao again. It’s a beautiful and welcoming island. Please do not waste any time or money going to Zoetry Curaçao.

It was warm, bring sunscreen! There is complimentary bug spray in the room.

Zoëtry Curaçao by Hyatt is undeniably a stunning property. The lush, tropical surroundings and elegant design make it look like a true paradise, and at first glance, it feels like an exclusive, high-end retreat. The staff is generally friendly and attentive, and the service—at least in the day-to-day interactions—seems polished and professional. The rooms are nicely designed and kept clean, which is an expectation at a luxury resort. However, I was shocked to find sand under the sheets multiple times. This is not a minor issue—it’s a sign of carelessness when it comes to housekeeping. At a hotel of this caliber, cleanliness should be non-negotiable, and having to deal with something as basic as properly washed bedding was disappointing. That being said, my biggest issue with Zoëtry was their complete failure in handling a special occasion. I had booked this resort specifically to celebrate my partner’s birthday, expecting a luxurious and seamless experience. Instead, I was met with what can only be described as a total disaster. I had planned a romantic beach dinner for two, something I imagined would be intimate, magical, and memorable. What I got was the exact opposite. Without informing us in advance, the hotel made a last-minute change and moved our dinner to a patio behind a restaurant. Instead of dining by the ocean under the stars, we were placed in an area surrounded by screaming children, random adults walking by, and people stopping at our table to ask about our food. The so-called “romantic” atmosphere was completely ruined. To make matters worse, the small light meant to provide a cozy ambiance on our table went out, and rather than fixing it, the staff replaced it with a harsh, strobe-like floodlight that made us feel more like prisoners being interrogated than guests enjoying a private dinner. And then came the food—if you can even call it that. The service was completely disorganized, and the staff seemed to have no idea what was going on. At one point, they told us our food was still on the beach (which, ironically, is where we were supposed to be dining in the first place). When our meals finally arrived, things somehow got even worse. The chef had completely botched our orders, and instead of correcting them, he came to our table and informed me that I would just be getting a salad as my main course. A salad. That was it. As for my partner, who had specifically ordered lobster for his birthday dinner, he was served a lobster shell covered in an absurd amount of salt—completely inedible and utterly unacceptable for a luxury dining experience. At that point, I was beyond frustrated, but I still hoped the resort would at least attempt to make things right. Unfortunately, the way they handled our complaint only made matters worse. Jacqueline, a staff member, promised us a spa day as compensation and assured us we would receive a call between 10-11 AM the next morning to confirm. That call never came. Once again, we had to chase them down ourselves by going to the front desk. After all of this, their only real solution was to refund us the money for the dinner, but that completely missed the point. This wasn’t about the money. This was about an experience—a special, once-in-a-lifetime memory that was supposed to be meaningful. A birthday celebration was ruined due to poor organization, a lack of communication, and an overall lack of care from the staff. And rather than taking real responsibility, the Zoëtry team kept pointing fingers at their sister resort, Dreams, while Dreams staff pointed back at Zoëtry. No one was willing to own up to the mistakes, and that is what makes this so infuriating. It’s truly a shame because this resort has potential. The location is breathtaking, the hotel itself is beautiful, and the staff, in general, are kind. But when it comes to organizing anything beyond the basics, they fail miserably. The level of professionalism needed for a luxury experience is simply not there. I expected a five-star, stress-free experience, and instead, I spent my vacation dealing with unnecessary frustration, mismanagement, and complete disregard for guest satisfaction. So, here’s my final verdict: If you’re just looking for a nice place to relax and don’t need any special arrangements, you might enjoy your stay here. But if you are booking this resort for a special occasion, think twice. They do not deliver on what they promise, and they certainly do not know how to handle high-end service properly. The fact that they charge luxury prices but fail to provide a luxury experience makes this resort feel wildly overpriced. You can get the same (or better) amenities at another resort for a much better price, without the stress and disappointment. Save yourself the headache and book elsewhere. We loved the quiet resort with the option of walking across the street (golf carts will bring you as well) to the busier Dreams resort. Our room was a pool view room and appeared to be recently remodeled; it was one of the largest non-suite rooms we have stayed in! Staff was friendly and helpful. We had excellent food at both the pool side restaurant and the indoor restaurant, Bloom. We also enjoyed a meal at Dreams with Gigi at Portofino took care of us twice and was AMAZING. We loved the little beach and the snorkeling right in front of the resort. The adults only pool area was a very nice perk as we were not traveling with children. The Zoetry pool was honestly our favorite though because it was surrounded by lush landscaping and was very tranquil. We are already planning a return trip next year!

I really don't understand the negative reviews, this place is paradise! But, it may not be for everyone, here's why: It's not a party place. It's very quiet and calm and it pretty much shuts down by 9pm. They're more focused on zen and relaxation so if you're looking for a conga line at midnight, this isn't the resort for you. Highlights: The property is beautiful. The pool, landscaping, lobby, rooms--everything is gorgeous. The staff are phenomenal. One day I decided to spend the day hiking and the evening before, Fernando gave me a hearty to go breakfast of sandwiches, pastries, fruit, and juice. It was just what I needed for a hard days' hike. Halfway through the week at 1am, the A/C in the room went out and we were put into another room within 10 minutes. The food is fine. Yes, you'll wait a little while for your food but you're on vacation, what is your hurry? Slow down. Although if you do want great food, you'll have to leave the resort for that. Jason the bartender is super friendly and very knowledgeable and makes great drinks. Make sure you see him at the lobby bar. Golf carts run across the street to Dreams every few minutes, and that's where you'll find the beach. Overall, I would 100% stay at this property again in a heartbeat. It was absolutely perfect!

One of the worst lodging experiences we have ever had. We encountered several inconveniences that should never be acceptable at this level of accommodation. - Disorganized check-in: there is no defined check-in time. We had to wait until 4:20 p.m. to be assigned a room, which was different from the one we had reserved. Even after explaining the situation to the Concierge, our request was not honored, and we were told to complain directly to the booking operator (Booking). - Room issues: the complimentary liqueur was missing, the sparkling wine was placed in a bucket with water, the minibar was not stocked, and the sparkling wine was never replenished. - Restaurant disappointment: ordinary dishes that could never be called “international cuisine.” The bread served as a starter was hamburger bread. Basic service errors occurred, such as serving the main course before the appetizer, no replenishment of drinks, and staff lacking proper training. - Lack of hospitality: upon arrival, no one helped us with our luggage. Most attendants showed little courtesy, as if they were doing guests a favor. - Limited resort experience: there were no activities or entertainment options that would justify calling this place a resort. On the positive side, the room itself was comfortable, even though the air conditioning did not cool very well. The price charged does not match the experience delivered, which was worse than that of budget hotels. The only thing that saved our stay was the possibility of accessing the Dreams Hotel next door, located right in front of the beach. Conclusion: for those who are demanding and value a truly differentiated experience, avoid this hotel. It is not worth the money, and it fails to deliver what it promises.
