LionsDive Beach Resort

I have nothing but great things to say. I planned a birthday trip with 15 of my friends and stayed at this resort. The morning I was supposed to fly in, American Airlines cancelled my flight and since my friends flights were out of another airport that made it there while I had to fly in a day later! I was stressed and Erica at the front desk was a life saver. She accommodated me flying in a day later and leaving a day later with no extra charge. She also upgraded my room for free and decorated it and set me up with a rental car to get around the island. I am forever grateful! I love the location of the resort. It was in walking distance from many restaurants. It was clean and the staff were helpful. They offered shuttles that went downtown twice a day! 10/10 would highly recommend! Thank you again Erica!

Just got back 7/31/26 stayed for a week and loved it. Hotel and location were amazing. Beach was beautiful (bring water shoes its rocky walking in) Mambo beach is a 2-minute walk and there is so much to do there. Plenty of shops, restaurants and bars. Why only 4 stars hotel and grounds are very clean, rooms do need some updating. It seems no one or nothing moves with any urgency in Curacao so be prepared to wait no matter what you do or where you go. But the Island is beautiful and so are the local people. Can't wait to come back and will stay at the Lions Dive again

Excellent location , with dive shop on site. Wonderful food/drink options both at the resort, or very close walk. Staff was great. Our only problem was that our room A/C did not work very well, and maintenance was not able to completely resolve the issue. I would recommend this to both div, as well as non-divers looking for a great beach vacation.

I was surprised in the level of details they have. Superb attention and facilities. No charge for coffee capsules in the room, lotion for your body, electrical adapters, you have washing machines and laundry machines available for you and they provide the detergent. We were in 2 different rooms. One with direct access to the beach, recommended. Then, to the apartments with direct access to the 50m pool, also strongly recommended. All personnel is friendly and willing to help you kindly. One thing to note is that rooms are hard to get it dark for the night, they are obscured with curtains. The experience was great, extremely recommended!

The location is beautiful, and the hotel is situated about 5 mins from the heart of the capital. The rooms were also fantastic, however the lighting was a bit dim. When it comes to value for money, I’d say LionsDive was a solid 9/10. The hotel staff were very friendly, and the rooms were cleaned daily. The only comment I would say, it that they should offer a bit more options when it comes to nightlife or night activities for hotel guests, given that the island itself it pretty quiet when it comes to late night parties for guests who want to have that experience.

We stayed for 11 night at Lions Dive resort. This is our second stay at this location. We chose Lions Dive for several reasons. We dive and the staff at Ocean Encounters is excellent. Lions Dive is centrally located on Mambo Beach which means we have access to beahces, restaurants, shopping, etc. in additiona to what is located at the resort. If you want luxury rooms and big dollar amenities, this is not your location. The rooms can be quite noisey and busy...Think Carnival Cruise ship. Staff for the most part is friendly and accomodating but you will find the odd member who seems bothered by you interrupting their day. Please remember you are on Island time so give yourself planty of time for dinner or cocktails. While we were not a fan of the burgers at Hemminways, the rest of their food was good. Piazza had pizza worse than a microwave pizza from the Dollar Store. I couldn't even finish a slice. The massage at the spa was excellent and affordable. Plenty of seating on the beach and generally no wait at the restaurants. Please keep in mind our stay was during the first two weeks of July.(low season). The rroms have a sceen window in the bathroom and the bottom of the main door has a gap which means anyone outside your room is heard clearly in your room no matter what time of day or night it is. Overall, we enjoyed the stay here but as I said earlier, do not expect the experience or service you might get at a higher dollar resort. We will probably return but mainly because of location over quality.

This was the prefect location and resort for a snorkeling and beach focused week away! Meals were very good and we're right next door to Mambo for the variety of restaurants over there. The room and facilities were exactly the low-key laid back vibe we were looking for. Shout out to Ocean Encounters for our snorkeling trips to the Tugboat! We booked excursions when we wanted to get out to see Willemstaf and the rest of the island. Tip: Borrow gear from the towel shack and snorkel around Hemingways and along the swim area breakwater.

We had a wonderful time at LionsDive Beach Resort. It is the perfect place for a family vacation: the atmosphere is very welcoming, the beach is beautiful, and it is perfectly located close to everything you need for a hassle-free stay. While the facilities and the beach are a 10/10, what truly sets this hotel apart is its people. The entire staff is attentive and helpful, but we want to give a very special shoutout to the housekeeping team. Their work is exceptional; they left our room spotless every single day, and their attention to detail is incredible. Thank you for making us feel so comfortable! We will definitely be back.

I slightly agonized over which would be the best accomodations for our first trip to Curacao. I am so happy that I can confidently say I picked the absolute perfect resort for our family. The location can not be beat. Being able to access Mambo Beach and Mambo Beach Blvd so easily was such a plus. The resort is beautiful. The lovely murals throughout were definitely a highlight. We stayed in a two bedroom, two bath apartment for our family five. We had a maintenance issue and it was taken care of immediately and efficently. Our apartment was spotless as was the entire resort. Staff all throughtout the resort were friendly, very competent and hard working. Unfortunately, obviously no fault of LionsDive , there was construction happening next to the resort. Our apartment was facing the construction unfortunately. So the noise level was a little more than I had hoped for but it was not a deal breaker by any means. Multiple restaurants and bars on site. We very much enjoyed sushi at Nemo. Our server, bartender extraordinaire, Jasper, was an absolute pleasure. We enjoyed the two refreshing pools in the resort and other amenities such as the spacious gym. I had hoped to particpate in yoga on the beach and the guided hikes but the start times for those activities were a litttle too early for me ( 7 am and 7:45 am) but I think it's a nice bonus that they are offered. All in all, LionsDive is a fantastic value for your money. We greatly enjoyed our stay at LionsDive and hope to return in the future. Thank you LionsDive for making our first trip to Curacao a truly memorable one!

Came back this Saturday 20th from the best ever Resort we stayed in the last 25 years LionsDive . I want to mention all the people who helped us first. Nigel, Katy, Peaches, Nina, Sandy and of course Kimberley, And there is so many more. As en experienced traveller I would like to commend the entire Resort for its cleanliness, friendliness and the amazing atmosphere and vibes, THE BEST VIBES in the entire Caribbean. The beach is wavy clean sparkling blue and welcoming, you can swim or snorkel, you will see the all the way down with prettiest fishes I have ever seen. My daughter stayed the entire day in the waters because of its beautiful waves (she is 19). Myself and my wife were simply overtaken by how WARM AND CLEAN the beach is. Its amazing! The restaurants and bars, WOW. All the waitresses smiling and so patient. And the food, the variety and the quality ... Even in New York the selections and taste is not the same. Liquors and soft drinks all served and presented with such a culinary finesse. And our room (suite) huge and spacious, well air-conditioned with the full kitchen equipped with the latest dishware. The views from our balcony are worth a million, day or night! Live music at night, WOW again, free to enter and have a so much fun and be happy! I can not stop asking myself why we ve never stayed at LionsDive before, this resort is a gem in the Curacao. Either you are a family or travelling solo this is a PARADISE. Strongly recommend to all, you will thank me later. And the best part of all, we are coming back this December God Willing ! We’ve had another fantastic stay at LionsDive. It has truly become our home away from home. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the service is always excellent. If you’re staying here, be sure to add breakfast to your booking. Enjoying breakfast with your feet in the sand is, for us, the perfect way to start the day. So, if you’re planning a trip to Curaçao, we can highly recommend staying at LionsDive. The hotel is also ideally located on Mambo Beach, making it the perfect base from which to explore the island.
