We stayed for 8 nights at Temptations and really enjoyed the entertainment, food and especially the staff. The play makers were high energy and even though it was busy we did not have to wait for food or drinks during our stay. The only thing we felt let down the resort is that it is in need of a refurbishment, faded and damage items in our room that just needed some basic maintenance.

We were not in the lifestyle but still thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was more about freedom to express yourself…. Beaches were beautiful. If I had one complaint, it would be the pushy sales team, they try to grab you on day 1 to sell you something before you’d even tried the holiday. PLEASE AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS. One hour could’ve easy turned into 3, I put my foot down and left after an hour!!! They just try to ingratiate themselves and in a fake way to sell holidays. Don’t get sucked in!!! Having said that I would def return as it was a fabulous holiday!!!🔥🤣☀️😘👍

Accessibility Review of Temptation Resort Hey there, fellow travelers! If you’re like me, a travel-loving, proudly queer person with a disability, then you know how crucial accessibility information is when planning a trip. I use a manual wheelchair full-time, and my partner (who also uses a wheelchair) and I recently spent a week at Temptation Resort. I always aim to provide honest, detailed accessibility reviews so future guests can make informed decisions. Just to be clear, this review is entirely independent (unfortunately, no sponsorships, no affiliations, just my personal experience, haha). Overview Temptation Resort is an adults-only, high-energy destination with a lively atmosphere. When it comes to accessibility, I’d describe it as functional but flawed. You can navigate most areas but expect some hurdles along the way. That said, we navigated just fine during the week, thanks to some planning and help from staff, but guests should be prepared for certain barriers. Guest Room Accessibility Let’s start with the basics, getting a wheelchair-accessible room at Temptation is... well, tricky. • The Tower rooms are accessible via elevators, but there are no specifically designed accessible rooms (that I was made aware of). This means no grab bars in the bathrooms and no roll-in showers. • The Trendy Garden View Rooms are hit-or-miss. While some on the ground level are accessible, upper floors have no elevator access. • Showers have a raised 8” threshold and an oddly placed showerhead, making it difficult to position yourself properly if you can’t stand/walk. • The resort does not provide loaner mobility equipment (shower benches, commodes, etc.), so plan accordingly. Resort Navigation • Bash Bar to Pool: A large ramp connects the nightlife area to the pool level. • Guest Elevators: The main Tower elevators do not go all the way to the buffet or pool level, but there are hidden service elevators available upon request. You’ll need to ask the concierge for directions. • Entrance Barriers: The main entrance has a step, so wheelchair users may need assistance from staff. • Visibility Hazards: Color contrast is extremely limited around level changes, especially near the Bash Bar. It’s easy to miss a step if you’re not careful (I saw some impressive falls). Despite these challenges, we were able to get around the resort fairly well with some assistance and creativity! Dining Accessibility Most restaurants have some level of accessibility, but there are a few obstacles: • Many restaurants have steps at the main entrance, though alternative (often hidden) entry points are available upon request. • Seaflirt is the one spot where no fully accessible route was found—a small step is present, but it’s manageable with assistance. • The Bash Bar seating is a challenge—only bar-height tables are available, and the few couches are reserved for premium members. When we asked for a shorter table, we were told “there is no such thing here.” Not ideal. Recreation & Activities • Pool Accessibility: The pools are accessible via stairs, but be aware, it’s a high-energy party scene. If you need personal space, you may want to visit the quiet pool. If you’re on the shorter side, a floatation device might be helpful since parts of the pool are deep. • Beach Access: The beach is only accessible via stairs. • Quiet Pool: For those who prefer a less chaotic experience, the quiet pool is a welcome escape from the party atmosphere, loud music, and drunk people. Even with these limitations, we still had a great time and found ways to enjoy most of the activities! Additional Considerations • Noise Levels: The resort’s nightlife is loud. If you’re sensitive to noise, earplugs are a must. • Staff Support: While the resort has accessibility gaps, most staff members are willing to help if you ask. • We were extremely disappointed by the cleanliness of our room. Upon arrival, we noticed that the floors were not properly cleaned, and the bathroom had visible grime all over. Housekeeping service was inconsistent, which made our stay less comfortable than expected. LGBTQ+ Inclusivity Temptation is LGBTQ+ friendly, but let’s be real, it’s mostly a straight party scene. • Expect a hetero-heavy atmosphere, especially during daytime pool games, which tend to focus on cisgender men/women couple dynamics. • While my partner and I felt safe and welcomed, it was clear that the resort caters more to straight couples. There wasn’t much LGBTQ+ representation or programming. • If you’re looking for a fun, carefree vacation and don’t mind the straight-heavy energy, you’ll be fine. But if you’re seeking an explicitly queer-friendly resort, you may want to explore other options. While we encountered barriers, we still had a fun and manageable experience with some planning and assistance. Happy travels! 🌴✨

David, Israel, Gloria, and Lucero at the breakfast buffet in the main hotel made us feel like family while maintaining professionalism and attending to all our needs. Wendy at the Party Pool and our butler, Oscar, also went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. We love Mexico and truly appreciate the incredible service at Temptations. However, we had a disappointing experience with a manager named Iliana. Another hotel had offered us a steak and lobster dinner, but Iliana promised the same if we stayed for their presentation. After our ride left, she refused to honor the offer and was incredibly rude and difficult. My wife and I love Temptations, but this left a sour taste in our mouths. Why would we want to spend our hard-earned money somewhere that doesn’t appreciate us? I would love for someone to reach out to remedy the situation. Before I start with all the good stuff, upon checkout, we should have had a 25% off of the Spa massage and other purchases but upon cashing out we were being charged full price, I asked questions about the charges and he THEN found the discount that we should've received. It was $100 difference BTW. I shouldn't HAVE to be telling them their job, and making sure on these things. It can be very confusing because all the amounts are in Pesos. Soooo, DO BETTER when it comes to that stuff. I can see people not noticing and paying more than they were told. Other than that.... This is an awsome Hotel/ Resort. The staff is very friendly and helpful in whatever you need. It is an all adult resort and very Sexy/topless attire is seen in most places from the pool to the Bash party at night. So if you're easily offended or want a nice quiet vacation, then this is not the place for you. The party vibe is kept alive with the "Play Makers" that run the Sexy Pool games/activities. The MC's that I can remember are "Cowboy" and "Chocolate". The Play Maker dancers are great as well. Arrita is always friendly and so full of energy. The bartenders Adolfo at the Sky Bar and Luigi at Sexy pool bar stand out the most due to their hard work, professionalism and excellent drinks. Jesus up in Sky was very friendly and helpful as well. Server Wendy has always been great at what she does, constantly keeping up with keeping drinks in your hand. I've been in the area that she works several times and she never disappoints. Liz in the coffee bar was always in a great mood and very hard working. Matias I belive his name was, at the Premier Pool bar was very good. We had a spa couples massage experience that was awsome. We requested Orquie and Veronica for massages and they were very professional and we had a very enjoyable experience. There was the general maintenence guy named Santiago that was always working keeping busy and always had a smile on his face. Leonel and Shadia were great Butlers and handled our requests in a timely manner. This would be visit #6 i believe... so very enjoyable place.

My wife and I had a fantastic time at Temptations - we enjoyed the entertainment, pool parties, theme nights and the overall vibe. There was one minor incident where my wife took a walk alone on the beach in the evening and felt a little scared by the security guard. I've communicated this incident to the hotel and trust it'll be taken care of. Apart from that, we had a wonderful time otherwise, and I would like to highlight the following individuals for their outstanding service: Israel (Breakfast Buffet) – Israel was fantastic. A true gentleman, he exudes warmth and charm. He took great care of my wife and me during breakfast and lunch, and we enjoyed many great conversations with him. We truly appreciated interacting with him. Manuel (Watersports) – Manuel made some of the best moments of our trip. He patiently taught us kayaking, and we had a wonderful time on the water. He also took us out on a sailboard, which was amazing! He showed us a starfish across the marina. We loved the conversations we had with him. Manuel mentioned that many guests don’t participate in watersports activities, so it would be wonderful if the resort could promote these services more so that more guests can enjoy this fantastic experience with him. Misael (Quiet Pool Bartender) – I had a lovely chat with Misael at the Quiet Pool. Not only is he a great conversationalist, but he also makes amazing drinks. He helped cure my hangover in no time and shared wonderful insights about the resort. I only wish I could have spent more time with him. Diego (Sexy Pool Bartender) – Diego was full of energy and had a wonderful spirit. His positive attitude made our time at the Sexy Pool even more enjoyable. I request the hotel to convey my highest compliments to the above team members. My wife and I sincerely thank them for making our trip so special and hope to be back soon.

Everything is paid for: tables near the bar in the evening, a bed near the pool! in short, all they want is your $$! the service has deteriorated! a cash cow that finances their renovation and construction with your $$! the service sucks! at the pool bar, if you don't put $ on the counter, they serve you last! What can I say about the food! very basic morning noon evening night! in short, the festive travelers make the atmosphere nothing like the mediocre service and food at the Temptation! they don't care about the customer you're a sign of $$ that's all! members meaning $$$$ members meaning $$$$ Tourist give me your money to give you less and less year after year! what to say about the Bash tower, it is abandoned, even no more chairs or parasols! People who make the experience magical: Jose Manuel, Norma, Monica, in lobby area. Gerry, Adan, Julio, Tonio, Mathias, Manolo , Betty, are top notch premier bartenders. Pool concierge Lili and Michael take care of you everyday, so friendly. Playmakers, all awesome. Pretty boy, maluma, JJ, Diego, chocolate, cowboy, ladyB, Sam, Sabrina, caliente. Restaurants are good, some great waiters are there, Charly, Jones, sinue, have been there a long time and are so good. I recommend this hotel for the great atmosphere, and for the staff making the experience so much better.

Just got back from trip #2 1/29-2/4, staying at Bash Tower and it was a blast!!! Got to see old friends and meet new ones. Food was good overall as well as check in process, room and events going on throughout the day. Special shout out to Israel at SeaFlirt, who made our breakfast special every time we went, Wendy pool waiter who always asked if we needed anything, Cristian at Sutra for making our friends and wife’s bday special. Lorenzo at Bash for making out wings and tacos on point! And especially Dani waiter at Bash at nights who assisted us with the cabana our friends had and every night would find us in the crowd and gave up top notch service till the end, even bringing out our fav drinks before the ones in hand finished. She is truly a charm! 1 half of my Butlers Yosaphat was great and took care of us once we checked in. Giving this a 4 star because of the timeshare reps in the lobby. They are extremely pushy and do not take no for an answer. It was borderline harrasment and kinda hated walking by the lobby in the morning because they would basically attack you and almost force you to do the presentation. I understand how sales work but this makes it really unconfortable to deal with from check in till the last day of our trip. Besides that, we loved it Thank you TTR for another amazing trip and see you next year!

Nice place but not welcome for non-smokers, there are no specific areas for smokers which cause guests with health issues to expose to second hand smoke. Smokers smoke every where with no respect to others. Nail care is terrible, there is no nail tech. Over all lot of fun!

This was our very first time at Temptation so we only knew what we heard and seen from other reviewers but I must say this trip, for my husband's birthday, exceeded all our expectations and we had the best time of our lives. I think the amazing experience mostly had to do with all the fun games played each afternoon at the sexy pool. As well as the theme parties and performances held at the Bash Tower. The playmakers are spectacular, so warm, friendly and professional. I don't have all their names but to name a few was Maluma, Lady Beta, Cowboy, Miss Argentina, the hosts of course they were all incredible! We just can not wait to head back for more excitement and so has every single person we meet and it was quite a lot of people.

We recently returned from our 5th visit to Temptations. As always we had a amazing trip. Our Butler Ivan was on the ball! Even when I changed my mind multiple times on our reservations, he just smiled and said no problem. When he found out it was our anniversary, he went out of his way to find out what time we were going for dinner so he could arrange to have rose petals and chocolate strawberries in our room on our return. We will definitely ask for him on our next visit. Mike and his team at the pool always made sure to find us a chair whether I wanted shade or sun. My husband swears that Karen at the spa had magic fingers. Her massages were amazing! We can't wait for trip number 6!

Temptation Cancun has truly become our go to vacation spot. We’ve been multiple times, and every trip just gets better. From the vibrant atmosphere to the non-stop energy, we absolutely love everything about it. What really makes Temptation special, though, are the Playmakers. They bring the resort to life with their energy, personality, and ability to make everyone feel included. Over the years, we’ve had the pleasure of meeting both new and familiar faces, and we’ve always been impressed by how amazing the team is. On our most recent trip, one Playmaker really stood out to us - Andy from Venezuela. She was incredibly lively, full of energy, and always ready to dance. What made her even more special was how polite and approachable she was. Andy has a natural way of connecting with people, and it didn’t go unnoticed. While we truly love all the Playmakers, Andy left a lasting impression on us this time around.

This was our third time back at Temptation and it was a homecoming to be sure. Starting with our awesome butler Yosephat. We had him last year and it was great to see his familiar face. He constantly checks in and went above and beyond for us, looking out for us and making dinner plans, really meeting all our possible needs. He showed us up to our fabulous room that had a fully stocked bar and giant private hot tub. Diocelinda was our housekeeper and kept our room neat as a pin. Lots of clean towels extremely tidy. We were thrilled to see lots of other familiar faces from Luigi at the pool bar who even remembered us from last year! Our absolute favourite person is Lucio! He worked morning buffets and was our incentive to get out of bed in the mornings after late nights of dancing. He and Jair are the best couple of fellas ever and we would purposefully find them and sit in their sections. The spa is incredible! I often wonder if massage therapists at resorts are the real deal and they definitely are here. My husband and I had a couple massage, me a relaxation massage and he got a deep tissue massage. It was great! Veronica was just right in the pressure and did a wonderful job. My husband was surprised at the strength of little Carmen. She busted out every kink in his muscles. She beat the crap out of him, he was very impressed, felt like a million bucks after. I went back and had a massage with Jesus which was equally sexy and relaxing. I’m definitely going back. I actually had a manicure emergency and broke my nail painfully but thank goodness Marcella was there and fixed me up in no time. She was a quick and talented nail tech. The restaurants are great, my favourite being Sutra. I highly recommend the bao buns! Juan is a very nice waiter and had perfect recommendations for us when we weren’t sure what to order. The chef even stopped by to check in. It was all so good it put us in a food coma and we had to have a sleep after that yummy meal. The playmakers were pure energy as usual, shout out to Sam, cowboy and pretty boy. You all work so hard We come here to reconnect as a couple and party like we did before we had kids, This place nails it everyday.

Temptation never disappoints this was our 7 trip. We had Azul as our butler and recommend her 10/10 she checked in everyday and helped us with any questions we had. She recommend some shops that we asked about. Cannot say enough good things about her. From all the bartenders to the wait staff to housekeeping on the 5 floor they do a wonderful job. The food was so good the supper on the beach for Studio 69 was over the top So glad we found this place and it is our go to for our vacation!!

We had a romantic dinner on the beach, dinner at She and dinner at Flame. All were great, and both buffet restaurants are great. We had the best room 7317. Close to sexy pool and balcony faces the quiet pool. Don't miss the shows at 10:00pm at the bash. They are very good. Women, you will feel comfortable toppless or keeping you top on. It's about 50/50. Also, I was concerned about feeling out of place being older, but that was no problem.

Weekends get a bit over booked. So they had to change our room the next day. Room maintenance needs to be improved a bit. Very clean. Bed was comfortable. Overall we will be back again.
