The pictures do not really do this resort justice. After staying at Fernandez Bay, we came here and were blown away by the beauty of the beach and facilities. They are modern, bright and colorful, and after driving the entire island, this resort is on the best beach. While the resort picture creates the impression that it is in a remote location, it is in fact 8 minutes from the main town, New Bight, and 17 minutes from the New Bight Airport. The rooms are new with WiFi and TVs, kitchens and living areas, and all within 100 feet of the beach. The dining room is beautiful and overlooks the beach as well. The service is excellent and the staff very accommodating to anything you need.

A pure Bahama experience. The Rollezz team are very people-focused, connecting guests, making sure we were enjoying our stay. I felt like we were visiting a friend’s home. We kayaked, paddle boarded, played bocce, watched the sunset, relaxed under a cabana, swam in the clear blue calm seas - perfect depth for swimming and floating. Food was delicious (lobster, conch were tasty). Dessert was fabulous! No glitz just tailored fun! Come to enjoy not to impress your friends back home!

Lovely villas right in front of the picture perfect beach. Excellent food(!!!). Warm, attentive people who feel like family. There’s nothing more you could ask for really. Although it isn’t strictly necessary, hiring a car would allow you to take advantage of the whole of Cat Island like checking out the hermitage atop Mount Alvernia and visiting the various settlements across the island. The first two or three months of the year can get a little busier so be sure to check whether or not they’re booked to avoid disappointment!

Everything about the stay here is amazing. Yvonne and Carl are great hosts. Beverly and Margaret and everyone involved with the resort are funny, kind, engaging and thoughtful. Our Bungalow was a duplex which we shared with a great couple from Scotland who have been coming to the resort for 8 years (so that gives you an idea of how amazing it is). The Bungalow itself was well appointed, comfortable bed, clean and spacious living room, and basic necessities in the kitchen as far as kitchenware. There are no basics for cooking provided (coffee, salt, oil, etc.) so be sure to stop at the store on your way in if you plan to cook for yourself. While on the topic of food, Carl is a great chef! We had 2 dinners while staying at the resort and they were delicious- Mackerel one night and lobster the next. We did rent a car for 2 days which was nice to be able to explore the island. The beach at Rollezz is what really captures your attention. The water is so clear and blue, and the sand is pristine white. You can walk for 2 miles in either direction and not find another resort. They are located in a bay that is protected by reef so you do get sailboats who drop anchor in the harbor to get out of the wind or the weather or just enjoy the scenery. They are lovely to look at and we met some very interesting people as we were playing Bocce, reading or just enjoying the view. The resort does offer kayaks if you want to have a paddle. The water is very still so it is easy to paddle out. My only regret is we didn't have more time. With travel time we only really had 4 full days to enjoy the resort and we could have easily stayed longer.

This resort is a hidden gem. We loved our time here from the adorable bungalows to the wonderful people it was all amazing! The staff was over the top helpful and the beach was the best on the island. Absolutely beautiful location and beautiful people. We will be back!

The siren call of returning to Rollezz a second time could not be ignored. We once again spent a magical week hosted by Carl, Yvonne, and Bev - our Cat Island family. During the day, we hiked the endless white sand beach, read books, and swam on the endless beach meters from our cottage. At night, we enjoyed the fantastic, light pollution-free "winter" sky. The meals were delicious and perfect. We will certainly be back. There are few places this special and this untouched.

We had a delicious meal at Rolleez once again! We started with a beautiful greens salad, excellent roasted potatoes, and Cornish hen. The pineapple dessert completed the evening.
