We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Jawakara, and from the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the sheer beauty of the island and the warmth of the staff. The rooms were stunning—spacious, airy, and beautifully designed, making for a truly relaxing stay. The beach was breathtaking, easily one of the most pristine and picturesque we’ve encountered in the Maldives. The food selection was excellent, offering great variety, but the standout for us was our dining experience at Aila. The à la carte menu was simply outstanding, and the service from the team was nothing short of five-star—attentive, friendly, and truly memorable. We were also fortunate to meet La La and Le Le, along with Halima, who went out of their way to ensure we had a fantastic experience. Their hospitality was exceptional, and their passion for the resort truly shone through. A special mention must go to our in-villa host, Yaseen—an absolute star! His friendly nature, professionalism, and willingness to assist made our stay even more enjoyable. He was always quick to respond to our messages and ensured that no request was too much trouble. He is a real asset to the team! Another standout was Anth who was in Aila, who provided such warm, attentive service without being overbearing—always a delight to interact with. We also had the pleasure of meeting Haniff at Bonthi Bar, a hardworking and charming young man who went above and beyond to ensure all guests had the perfect drinks. He along with the bartenders quickly learned our preferences and even accommodated off-menu cocktails when ingredients were available—an extra thoughtful touch that we really appreciated. One of the things we loved most about Jawakara was how empowered and confident the staff were in providing exceptional service. The entire team worked tirelessly to ensure every guest had a personalised and seamless experience. We would highly recommend this island to anyone considering a Maldives getaway. Whether you’re looking for luxury, outstanding service, or simply a paradise to unwind, Jawakara is the perfect choice!

We stayed at Jawakara for our honeymoon and it was our first time in the Maldives. We had an amazing time and everything was impeccable. The resort is very new so everything is well maintained and the over water villas with private pool have an amazing view. We stayed in Dheru and we were happy about that decision. We were on the all inclusive package and we were assigned a private host (Azu) who was incredible and helped us a lot throughout our stay. The only thing is that it's very hard to make reservations at the a la carte restaurants (which we didn't expect), so most of the times you end up eating at the buffet restaurants. In any case after several trials Azu was able to help us with that eventually.

Our first trip to the Maldives was made perfect by Jawakara Resort. The All-Inclusive Premium Package was a great choice, offering fantastic value with many perks. The room was spacious, clean, and modern, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The buffet offered a variety of dishes, including fresh fish and tropical fruits. The à la carte restaurants were even better. They required a booking, which we didn’t have, but our host Ashraf made everything possible so we could try all of them. Ashraf handled all of our requests with great attention to detail. A big thanks to him. The house reef was beautiful, and the free reef tour was an unforgettable experience. There are many other activities included in the AI package, as well as additional ones, all worth trying. They made our days diverse and interesting. E Jawakara provided the perfect family vacation with stunning views, great food, and exceptional service. We can’t wait to return!

The variety of colorful fish was incredible. A huge thank you to our amazing host, Ashraf. He took care of all our requests with kindness and professionalism, ensuring we had everything we needed and even more. The entire staff was fantastic—everyone was extremely kind and welcoming. Housekeeping kept our room spotless, visiting more than once a day to refresh towels and restock the minibar. The food was outstanding! We enjoyed fresh fish, tropical fruits, and an impressive selection of cocktails. And the Garden Spa massage was pure relaxation—one of the best we’ve ever had. Everything was simply perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better week in paradise and can’t wait to return!

This place is just heaven. There is nothing bad I can say. The location is idyllic. The views are stunning. We had a beach villa with pool and could snorkel direct from the beach to the nearby reefs. Yesterday walking alongside the edge of the sea we saw baby reef sharks ( friendly so don’t worry). We have seen small turtles whilst here and so many fish. The snorkelling trip to the local reef was good and then the Turtle tour was amazing. I am a good swimmer but chose to wear a life jacket and was glad I did. Don’t feel embarrassed it’s the ocean and when you’re out there for 45 mins it’s along time to swim especially if you’re a little cautious as I am. The dolphin tour was our highlight seeing Spinner dolphins twist in the air and then so many bottle nose ones swimming by our boat. What an experience. The villa is first class with an outside bathroom, comfy bed, fridge refilled daily. The service is excellent. I think premium all inclusive is the best way to do this holiday as you get so much more included. We have paid for very little whilst here, but except a few trips and tips for a few waiters that went above board to be helpful. We had the cheese and wine dining which was good but a little too early and the sun was shining down on us, so a little unbearable. The spa treatments are worth having and the free half hour back massage was excellent. The buffet food is everything you could wish for. So much choice and freshly cooked. I think there only seems to be one issue getting into Molo and Umi can be difficult. We booked a month before we came and also booked the trips so we had no issues but some have. The food at Umi was top notch. We would definitely come again and we never say that anywhere as we like to try new places. Lallit the restaurant/hotel manager was always at hand making sure we had everything we needed. All the staff were superb.

Our stay at Jawakara in the Maldives was absolutely incredible! My wife and I went there for our honeymoon, and honestly, it couldn’t have been better. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed. As soon as our seaplane landed from Malé, we were greeted by Simran, our island host, along with a group of staff who were cheering and playing music—such a fun and warm welcome! Simran then took us on a golf cart tour of the 2 islands of the resort, showing us around before finally taking us to our beach villa, where our luggage was already waiting. Our room was perfect. One thing I loved was how the bed faced the entrance of the villa, which was basically all floor-to-ceiling windows. That meant we could wake up every morning to an amazing view of the beach and the insanely blue water (you know, that super light turquoise color you only ever see in tropical places like this). The mini-bar was fully stocked, which was a nice touch. But my favorite part of the villa? The bathroom, hands down. It’s behind the bedroom, and it’s huge, cozy, and has really nice lighting. But the coolest thing? The ceiling is open at the back, so you get this awesome mix of fresh air and nature while you’re showering. It felt like a private little outdoor spa, and I absolutely loved it. The food was another highlight. The buffet restaurants had so many different options, and everything we tried was delicious. There were also three à la carte restaurants, but you had to book in advance. We managed to get into the Italian one, which was fantastic, but we couldn’t get a spot at Umi, the Asian restaurant. That one looked really special because it’s right on the bridge that connects the two islands of Jawakara—so definitely book early if you want to try it! Speaking of that bridge, it was one of the most beautiful spots on the island. At night, it was lit up so nicely, both on the walkway and underneath in the water, so as you walked across, you could actually see fish and other sea creatures swimming below you. We even saw baby sharks and manta rays gliding through the water, which was just surreal. Getting around the island was also really fun. We had bicycles, which were a great way to explore, and I thought it was adorable that there were actual bike parking spots. And the golf carts? They were basically like the island’s public transportation, which I found really cute. You could either order one or just hop on if you saw one passing by, and it made everything so easy. We also did a bunch of activities—kayaking, snorkeling, and a dolphin cruise, and the resort provided all the equipment, so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. The snorkeling was unreal—we saw baby sharks, sea turtles, and manta rays, and since the water was crazy clear, we actually got amazing videos of everything! And to top it all off, we had a massage overlooking the water, which was the most relaxing and beautiful experience. The staff at Jawakara really made our stay even better. Simran, our island host, was amazing—I could just WhatsApp her anytime, and she’d instantly help us book activities or restaurants or answer any questions we had. But honestly, everyone was so friendly. We’d always greet each other when passing by, whether we were riding our bikes or they were driving the golf carts, and it just made the whole place feel really welcoming. If you’re thinking about Jawakara, go for it! Everything about it was incredible, and we couldn’t have asked for a better honeymoon. We’ll never forget this trip and can’t wait to come back someday!

Superb service everywhere. The Premium Plus package was amazing including massages, all wine, food, mini bar, boat trips etc etc. We were amazed what was included as it exceeded our expectations. We stayed in an over water Villa with pool, which was superb. Umar was a fantastic Resort Host who organised everything for us, nothing was too much trouble for him. The room cleaning and service by Abinesh was superb, again he went above and beyond. All the restaurant and bar staff were fantastic in all the restaurants. Special mention to all the staff in the Vela restaurant who were all outstanding and couldn't do enough to make our stay memorable, especially our friend at the Fruit Counter. Great Resort with loads to do. We loved the complimentary bikes to get round the Resort. Thank you all at Jawakara

I am writing this as we sit in the airport ready to depart back to the UK. Myself and my husband went to Jawakara for our honeymoon and we could not have chosen a more beautiful resort. We spent nine nights. I write this as someone who is obsessive about reading Tripadvisor reviews before I go anywhere so hopefully this helps anyone who does the same :-) We stayed on a water villa on Mabin on the sunrise side and the room itself is amazing, huge bedroom and massive shower/bathroom; everything you could need is provided including after sun/ toiletries and hairdryer etc. Very comfortable bed that is giant and the pillows are also super comfy. The villas are very private and not overlooked in any way, the pools are perfect with unobstructed views of the ocean. We snorkelled from our room straight out several times and were fortunate enough to swim with a turtle a ray and even saw a lion fish! Two bicycles were ready and waiting for us when we were collected from the seaplane by our villa host who again was very helpful. Shoutout to Saja! The food/drinks- perfection! The buffet covers everything you can imagine and the desserts were top notch. We ate several times in Umi, MOLO and Aila and the Hideout and we loved them all but if you are a sushi fan you must go to Umi. The tandoor station in the buffet was a massive hit with us and the men that worked so hard making the fresh naan and breads every night are worth their weight in gold to this resort! There is something for everyone and the drinks are also great, all of the cocktails and mocktails are very tasty (the ones we tried!) and there’s a huge range of lovely wines and beers. Never any trouble getting a sun lounger at any point in the day, and the evening entertainment (the singers especially) was also great! Of note, the dolphin sunset cruise was also brilliant and we saw plenty of dolphins! Another special mention to Hammu in the bar and pool area of Dheru, always on hand to top up your drink and make sure you didn’t need anything! The gym was also well equipped! I can’t put into words how amazing this resort is and the island is literally breathtakingly beautiful. Everything runs seamlessly and all of the staff are so friendly and helpful. The beaches and the crystal clear water…the entire setting itself is simply stunning! Thank you to all the staff that work so hard to make it what it is!

Our second trip to the Maldives but first to Jawakara. We were so impressed with the experience - absolutely beautiful island , you can’t quite believe how stunning it is to wake up to the crystal clear waters and white powder beaches every day. Service was superb - a big shout out to Lalit who we saw daily in the restaurants, to Mohamed who was our guest host and made sure we wanted for nothing and to Dhan who looked after our housekeeping which was of the highest standard. However everyone we met and interacted with was so friendly and couldn’t do more for us. We enjoyed the snorkeling (lots of fish to see) and the golf - thank you Lorance! And of course whizzing around the island on our bikes. Of the speciality restaurants we liked Umi the best - they do get booked up so book well in advance (before your trip) but the buffets were also great. A fabulous holiday - we’d love to return.

I can say without any doubt that this was the most wonderful holiday we’ve ever had! The island is absolutely amazing, we stayed in Mabin , which is the larger of the two islands and we found it great for a mix of activities. Never felt so free and relaxed like in Jawakara. Never used any makeup, using flip flops only when riding our bikes…white sand everywhere, even in restaurants or bars…which was so cool And makes you relaxed in the holiday mode. I honestly had the feeling that it’s my own beach and my own ocean, drinking my coffee every morning on my very own deck, right near the ocean…so peaceful it was…being able to snorkel at the end of your own part of the beech, truly amazing. All staff was amazing, always smiling, talking to us…make us feel very special, always remember your names at breakfast, dinner. We did arrive by seaplane which was so cool and the welcome to the island was warm and made you feel special. Our contact Aaidh was superb, looked after us from the minute we arrived to the time we left. Nothing was to much trouble. The food was varied and plentiful and very tasty. So long to come back to an island where you can relax and enjoy peace and quite though there are plenty of activities to keep those of us that require activities, golf, tennis, snorkelling, kayaking,diving.

But one is very very good!! We were incredibly lucky when we found out that Azu became our main assistant and friend. He is not a Butler, he is truly your best friend in every sense of the word. All your wishes are fulfilled instantly thanks to him. On March of 8th, he helped me secretly arrange and organize a special romantic dinner for my fiancée, where I proposed. All the details were discussed and carried out thanks to Azu! Thanks for the happiest moments of Jawakara Hotel Vacation and specially our friend Azu!!!

Wow, where do I start. Have just returned from this this stunning Island where everything was wonderful for the whole 10 days that we were there. All the staff were brilliant and couldn't do enough for us during our stay. We had breakfast in the Aila restaurant every day and was very impressed with all the staff there...I also loved the pancakes that were made in the shape of birds and turtles....a great touch. A special shout out to the guy (sorry ,I didn't get his name!) that worked on the fresh fruit stand...I had delicious fresh fruit cut to order every morning. Our host Mohamed was absolutely fantastic. He contacted us daily to ensure that all was well and to see if there was anything we needed. We certainly tested his knowledge and resolve on many occasions and he always came up trumps.:) The food at the a la carte restaurants and buffet was exceptional and some of the best I have ever had in the Maldives. The choice of drinks and cocktails was huge. Very impressed when I was offered Whispering Angel rose wine on the AI menu. This is a relatively big Island but it never felt busy...in fact it sometimes felt that we were there on our own. I would definitely recommend this Island to anyone....we cant wait to return

From the moment that we arrived at the Jawakara resort it was like ‘heaven on earth’. In fact, we could see turtles swimming as the plane landed. Our host, Iru, met us off the seaplane. Iru looked after us for the 10 nights we were there and was on hand to help with everything that we needed from restaurant bookings to ‘buggy’ rides, nothing was too much trouble. He was outstanding. In fact all of the staff were. We had a water villa on Dheru island which seemed to be very much the couples side of the resort. However, it was great to be able to travel across to the restaurants and activities on Mabin. The two island concept really worked for us and made for a more interesting stay. The most awesome and unexpected thing about Jawakara was the incredible sealife and wildlife, which changed from night to day. From baby reef sharks and rays to fruit bats and rare birds, it is a nature lover and snorkellers paradise. Umi restaurant was particularly sensational food wise, and if you eat dinner there you will be thrilled with the sealife entertainment which had us mesmerised. Jawakara we will be back!

This was the best trip my wife and I have ever taken together. Now it was also like a honeymoon as we have not been on a solo trip in 9 years as a married couple. We appreciated the host's welcome and the farewell at the seaplane and the contact during the stay, there was nothing to complain about during the entire stay. We stayed in a water villa on the island of Dheru and it was magical. Terrace with pool and stairs down to the sea, wonderful. The buffet restaurant had high quality food and several theme nights. The bars had a wide selection. The spa experience was fantastically relaxing. Very well-prepared food at the A la Carté restaurants. The snorkeling outside the villa was absolutely perfect. The snorkeling at the house reef was also good for seeing the reefs. We are very happy with this stay at Jawakara.

Jawakara is just exceptional, from the lounge in Male waiting for the seaplane to the reception we had on arrival. The accommodation is top notch, we had a beach pool villa which had an outside/inside bathroom, a mini bar with half ltr bottles of premium spirits and beers, Prosecco, red, white and rose wine and all Replaced every day, if you can manage to drink it all. The food is to die for. We went to all the A la carte restaurants and both buffet restaurants and the food was fenomenal in all of them. The service was great but better in the Saima restaurant and Bonthi bar. The staff make the holiday and the Island and a big shout out to Saja our host who could not do enough for us, Lalith the restaurant manager, amazing guy and a big shout out to all the staff in the Bonthi bar and saima restaurant who worked their butts off every day and always had a big smile on their faces, same goes for the staff in the Saima buffet restaurant and the Vela restaurant, sorry guys but I can’t remember all you names. Big shout out to our room cleaner (again I can’t remember his name but we were in Villa 152) . Thanks all for making our holiday just perfect.

Where do I start? Apologies for the long review but I really don't want to leave anyone out. This place is amazing - the villas, the service, the food, the people - all totally wonderful. We had a beach pool villa on Malbin which was stunning and kept spotless by our wonderful Delbin who works so hard and made the cutest towel penguins for me. Our host Zaman was excellent and was there for any queries or bookings we needed. The food in all the restaurants was amazing and plentiful and although we had beautiful meals in both Molo and the Hideout we were more than impressed by the buffet in Saima and I had fresh tuna beautifully cooked by Lahirn most evenings who knew exactly what way I wanted it cooked by the second night! There was also Saravanan who poached my breakfast eggs accompanied by a lovey smile. All the staff are so smartly turned out but more importantly they are all so friendly and very attentive. We were looked after by Agung (a really lovely guy), Basnett (who was so sweet), Dilanka (who seemed to know exactly when we needed a drink or snacks and always served us with a beautiful smile), our two beautiful girls Evy and Armelia whose smiles lit up the room and of course Ramesh (what can I say about this beautiful person who called me Mama except he like everyone else made our holiday so special). I certainly can't forget about Krish whose knowledge of wines was exceptional and also Lalith and Roma who oversaw everything and were there making sure our every need was met. I really hope I have got all the names right and I haven't left anyone out. They were like family by the time I was leaving. The islands are beautiful and I have left a little bit of my heart in Jawakara with all the wonderful people who work there. For deeper waters, I’d recommend Villa 215, and for more shallow waters, Dheru Island is a great choice. The food at Saima was fantastic and delicious. We also had lunch at Molo and Umi – both were amazing. The amenities were luxurious, and the staff was exceptional. We are incredibly grateful to our host, Mohamed. If you have the option to choose him, do it – he made our stay unforgettable. We will definitely return. This has been the best island of all our five visits to the Maldives.

Only by providing valuable feedback, one can improve :-) We entirely enjoyed our stay and (depending on special offers for next year), we want to come back in winter 2026. ***Resort Mabin*** The property was consistently clean, well-maintained, and presented to a high standard. The staff was great with always a smile on their faces, with only very few exceptions. We noticed that information (restaurant opening times, spa discounts, charges for in-villa-dining,..) has been either provided by some staff wrong or not at all. We needed to change our villa host, as there were three issues that has led to this decision. We greatly appreciated the complimentary 15-minute photo shoot, which included a digital image. Love our pictures (we bought more for 10 USD per picture). ***Villa and private beach*** Stunning glass front provides breathtaking views of the pool, beach, and ocean, with good privacy due to side plants. Some plants slightly obstruct the ocean view, especially in some villas — regular trimming is needed to keep the great views of the ocean from bed and beach. Spacious bathroom with a semi-open outdoor area, stylish decor, and nice planting. Heat accumulates during the day thus a fan on the ceiling would be great. High-quality amenities, including "Healing Earth" products (even an after-sun gel and a conditioner). Air conditioning blows directly onto the bed, so we put a towel on the AC. Maybe there are specific settings available, which we perhaps did not notice. Ensuring more cleanliness in wardrobes and shelves before new guests arrive. Same for the bushes on the beach, as we found a bottle and plastic there. We have never seen so much space for drying wet clothes. Loved the many laundry lines and a drying rack. Cutlery in the villa would be great. Beach sand is relatively coarse due to coral and shell fragments on the east side (cannot tell you about the west side). Although the beach was cleaned every morning, we would appreciate to have also the coral debris removed. Overall, we did not mind about this condition. But it is good to know for others who see an issue. Same with sea weed, which was slightly present, depending on winds and current. We did not mind about it on the east side as it was just short pieces of weed and not continuously present. Mosquito presence despite island-wide spraying—mosquito net over bed recommended. We did not notice mosquitos during the day, but had bites usually in the morning. Take Fenistil or similar with you. The sometimes open pathway to the villas (just a couple of villas affected) lacks privacy from passersby, but also this was for us not an issue. Ask for sun bed toppers, these are not a standard item in your villa. For rainy days, some cozy seating items on the terrace were great to have, same a rectractable awning. Highly appreciated that I could use the resorts yoga mats during our stay at our villa. Thank you for this! ***Restaurants/Bars*** The staff in the restaurants was great!! We were in Saima every day twice and enjoyed the service from the waiters, cooks, etc. Unfortunately, I do not remember all names. We were served often by Nelum and enjoyed the nice conversations with her. It is of utmost necessity to offer separate areas for families and adults-only to ensure a more peaceful experience for all guests. The presence of noisy children, without intervention from parents and the staff, is somewhat disruptive! The dress code of the majority of guests is not at all suitable for a 5 star resort (not even for 4 stars) - trunks, muscle shirt, basic t-shirts... The reservation system for the restaurants was challenging, as they were mostly fully booked. However, we noticed that several tables at Umi on one evening were unoccupied.. We did not mind, as we had rarely lunch (were on half board) and for dinner we went to Saima. All restaurants have a really nice style and were clean. Important for us, is the possibility of walking barefoot everywhere, and this is definitely the case at Jawakara. During rainy weather the tastings in the bars were a great offer. Salt and Pepper should be on the tables. *** F&B*** Loved that still and sparkling water was available for free everywhere and the whole day (we booked half board) The food quality and variety was decent, but did not meet 5-star standards, though some improvements were noticeable after providing feedback to the F&B manager. *Breakfast* lacked small bowls for jam, honey and a variety of muesli (no granola was offered; items like Fruit Loops and Cornflakes is not in line with the standards expected of a 5-star resort). Some bread was dry, while others were soggy, and several milk products tasted often sour. The selection of especially bread and also pastries was good overall. A variety of cheese would be appreciated (I saw mostly, Edamer, Emmentaler and Mozzarella). We were missing more innovative or non-standard breakfast items, such as: Guacamole (e.g. made with peas or zucchini, but no avocado due to environmental concerns). A station where guests could create their own superfood breakfast bowls. More premium toppings for waffles and pancakes (solely Nutella, chocolate sauce, and similar, does not meet 5-star standards). *Dinner* buffet also left room for improvement: there was limited variety for veggies (of course upon request) and in cold starters (missed tartares and carpaccio, both plant-based and fish). The theme nights were not clearly distinguishable. Fish options were repetitive, with tuna served daily, and the pasta dishes were somewhat basic. More variety in fish and pasta options, as well as better-quality preparation (like grilling fish on a charcoal grill or high heat gas grill), would elevate the dining experience to 5-star levels. The meat and fish dishes sometimes had a strong flavor, though some improvements were made after our feedback. A variety of cheese would be appreciated (I saw mostly, Edamer, Emmentaler and Mozzarella). A highlight was definitely the Naan bread station, we loved the bread! Many more dishes, especially fried items like fish fingers, would be better suited for live cooking stations. With the Naan station, it can be clearly seen that people prefer freshly made food and accept gently a bit of waiting time. We also had lunch at Umi, Hideout and Bonthi Bar. Umi has such a great location, we loved it. The food was very good, but not extraordinary. As for Hideout, I was happy with the Fish Burger, which I ordered at Bonthi as well. However, this was half of the size of the burger in Hideout and costs almost the same... Thus, I returned it, as 24 USD for a mini burger is somewhat unreasonable... Same with french fries. 10 USD for a mini portion was charged to us, whereas it cost 5 USD via in-villa dining.. ***Spa*** Ocean Spa is soo beautiful and the Muscle ease massage was SO great. 100% recommendation. Unfortunately, there is no information in the app about some discounts (e.g. Wednesdays) and the host did not inform us about certain discounts... On Earth day, complimentary singing bowl classes were offered. A regular complimentary class would be so great. ***Diving/snorkeling*** Not entirely happy with the service of the diving centre. They offer 1 dive only in the afternoon (2 dives in the morning) and unfortunately, the afternoon does not provide the best conditions and diving spots.. For snorkeling we rented fins - 8 USD per pair seem to be overpriced for us. The house reef tours were frequently fully booked, and although we were fortunate enough to secure spots due to a last-minute cancellation, the experience did not meet our expectations (house reef is not spectacular and the trip felt a bit too "group-like"). As we'd like to come back 2026 and make use of the special offer which we booked for this year, we would be happy to receive direct contact of the general manager or sales manager :-)

Our experience at Jawakara was amazing everything was top quality. All the restaurants did wonderful food. Our host Yaseen in particular made the whole experience so easy and enjoyable. He helped with every issue we had and we would definitely recommend him to anyone visiting the resort.

Saja was polite, knowledgeable, helpful and always greeted us with a smile. The resort was all we had hoped it would be for our honeymoon and more. The food in all the restaurants was of the highest standard, even in the buffet restaurants. The rest of the staff were always happy and nothing was ever too much trouble. Our water villa was wonderful. The staff that cleaned, restocked and did the turn down service, were all polite, respectful and professional. We had 7 unforgettable days in Jawakara, the staff is amazing, so smiley, absolute cleanliness - rooms cleaned twice a day - wonderful boy from Nepal Dhan, he made so beautiful decoration in our room for my birthday. The a la cart restaurants are perfect- it was absolute pleasure to eat there - everything extremely delicious and beautifully arranged, perfect staff - Joseph with his nice smile and all the staff in UMI were great, Jazlaan with his great service and wonderful smile and all the staff in Hideout, Molo made my birthday unforgettable - beautiful decoration, birthday cake surprise, lovely staff, perfect service, perfect wine list in all restaurants. And of course our host Abdullah - he was always ready to help, to make reservations, to support, really thank him. One special thank to the best photographer we met Aamin on Mabin island, he made perfect pictures, really beautiful. Everything is so well organised and you get so warm and first class service and attitude, that we fell in love with Jawakara and hope some day we’ll come back there again.

Everything was perfect,from the moment we stepped on this island and our host Azu,welcomed us. It was a special holiday for my husband and me, 32nd anniversary and his 70th birthday, so, a bottle of cold champaign was waiting in our beach pool villa, along with nice fliral welcome. Dheru island is a small, quite, island with fantastic white sand beach, a lit of greenery and unbelievable sea! We had our meals mostly at Vela restaurant (buffet and some great coctails), but also tried Tepanayaki and a la carte food at Umi and Molo restaurant. We had a premium all inclusive package, but did not go to other bars and restaurants because we wanted to enjoy in a relaxed way,not to run to try everything! My recent health problems were the reason why we skipped all organized sport activities and concentrated on swimming,sunbathing,walking and just chilling out! Our host, Azu, was like a silent good ghost, fulfulling our every single wish and we simply can not thank him enough (I lost my gold earring and he alarmed everone in the bar to find it, and they did it, we needed new batteries for our medical instrument, he provided, he also made everything to put us on an earlier seaplane flight,because we were afraid we could miss our connecting flight at Male etc.etc.). The beach pool villa was very confortable, minibar well equipped and refilled regularly or at our request and 3 times we got champaign - 2 for our aniversary and birthday and 1 for welcome). It was very clean and well maintained, also the pool was cleaned every single day. The beach is also every day cleaned from the sea grass,so it maintains that beautiful white sparkle. We saw few small sharks and stingrays in the shallow laguna close to our villa, but only once,early in the morning. Spa experience was excellent, food at Vela restaurant fresh and excellent choice. We really appreciated birthday cake for my husband at Molo restaurant and Tepanayaki show was also great at Umi restaurant! In a word, it was FANTASTIC holiday and we enjoyed every moment, we wish to thank to all the people who work there,evrybody was so kind and helpful.

We went for our honeymoon in Jawakara and it was the most amazing experience ever. On arrival to male everything was very smooth, we were taken to a lounge where we waited around 40 minutes for the seaplane. The seaplane ride itself is already a special experience, but once we arrived to the island wow. We were greeted by our host Ashraf who was very helpful at all times and every request we had was attended. Once we arrived to the room there was already two bicycles waiting for us with our room number on it. The beaches are beautiful and we managed to see turtles, sting rays, baby sharks and colorful fishes. Also we were lucky enough to see dolphins at the sunset cruise. I think what makes this place magic and special is not only the beautiful beaches but also the staff that is really friendly. We meet so many people that was kind and they all work really hard everyday. A special thank you for our Housekeeper Aju, he really was a star, he works really hard and is very talented (he would make a sand drawing everyday on our villa and animals with the towels ). Always with a smile, and he has really high standards with housekeeping. Thank you as well for the chef at the fruit station (I don’t remember is name), always with a smile and so friendly. We can’t fault anything, because it is perfection. I definitely recommend this place, it is truly as 5* Resort.

From the moment we arrived at Male, a Jawakara representative was there to escort us to their private lounge at the sea plane terminal. We hadn’t realised yet, but from that moment we were in the care of Jawakara. The seaplane transfer was amazing and the view of the Maldives is truly spectacular. Once we landed at Jawakara we were welcomed by Maldivian drums and our host ‘Saja’. Saja was very welcoming and took us on a tour of the island on the way to our home for the next 10 nights. We must say a special thank you to our host ‘Saja’ at this point, she was extremely caring, helpful and friendly throughout our stay - she was easily contactable via WhatsApp whenever needed and also dropped in while we were having dinner on a few occasions 😊 We pre booked a number of meals and excursions a few weeks before - we found this to be really useful to be able to do. We stayed in a Mabin water villa (178) on the sunset side. The villa itself had stunning views and was very spacious and comfortable. The mini bar was well stocked with quality products. It was very clean and the housekeeping staff kept it that way. There is good WiFi coverage across the villas and restaurants which was very useful. The islands are stunning 🤩 there is so much to do! We usually read a lot while on holiday but we found that we just didn’t have the time! Snorkelling outside our water villa and the house reef was amazing. We saw sharks, hundreds of beautiful fish, rays, sea turtles and also spotted a lion fish! The beaches and lagoon are incredible, as are walks across the water villa bridge and the bridge from Mabin to Dheru whilst spotting sea turtles in the lagoon. Strolling down the shaded inland paths lit by hanging lanterns with fruit bats flying overhead was an added treat. We love to walk and explore but we also loved taking the buggies (Jawakara Ubers!) We cannot commend the restaurants highly enough. Each of the restaurants have their own highlights. Hideout has views across the golf course accompanied by fruits bats giving an aerial display whilst we ate. The crowd pleaser starter is a must! Umi is such a fantastic restaurant, we ate there multiple times during our stay. The chicken dumplings starter was our favourite and the Korean chicken and Asian rib eye were our go to mains. Molo is another fantastic restaurant, we ate there multiple times too! Bruschetta starter was delightful and the pizzas and steak dishes were spectacular. The service we received at Umi and Molo was exceptional - the servers were excellent, they really took care and made a great deal of effort to make the dining experience as special as possible (Special mention to Sajje at Molo and Hadith at Umi) on separate occasions the chef came to our table to make sure that we enjoyed the meal too - which was a lovely touch. The Bonthi bar was our favourite bar, the cocktails and snacks were wonderful - the service was prompt and very friendly. The staff work extremely hard and always have a smile. The staff at Jawakara are called champions - it’s such a fitting title as every single member of staff we encountered was very friendly and the service we received throughout our stay was first class! Nothing was too much trouble. One evening we were waiting outside our villa for a buggy, our housekeeper spotted us and walked over to see if we needed anything. We told him it was ok we were waiting for the buggy to pick us up while looking at the fish in the lagoon. He then took out his phone to make sure that the buggy was on its way (it was). This was really above and beyond, he didn’t have to check the buggy. This level of care and consideration was really touching. Since the moment we stepped into the Jawakara sea plane lounge to the moment we got back to Male airport for our flight home we were cared for by the Jawakara champions - we thank you and hope to see you again soon 💙

My husband and I stayed on Dheru Island Villa 60 from 15th to 22nd February. It was our first time in the Maldives and we chose Jawakara island for our stay and I must say it did not disappoint. The moment we arrived we were welcomed with a huge smile from our island host Simran. She showed us around the island before taking us to our pool villa, there she helped us download the island app, where we could make restaurant reservations, book massages and excursions. Our villa was gorgeous, an outdoor bathroom, a large spacious room and a fairly large pool over looking the ocean. The rooms were cleaned each day to the highest of standards as was the pool and the surrounding areas of the pool. The meals we had in all the restaurants were out of this world, every part of the 3 course meals were divine. However, we found the beach BBQ wasn’t the greatest but edible. Guests in every villa had their own bikes which made getting around the huge island much easier, also, you could hop onto a buggy if you wanted an alternative way to get around. You could even pre book this if needed. The staff were all amazing, always smiling and made an effort to talk to us. A special shout out and thanks to SUBIN who cleaned our room perfectly every day, MUHAMMAD who cleaned our pool in the scorching heat everyday, ABHAY who filled up our mini bar, HUMMUS from Thila bar who never let our glasses go empty and SIMRAN who always messaged us from good morning to booking all our reservations and attending to our needs. They were all absolutely amazing from the moment we met to the moment we left!! Thank you all for a wonderful and memorable holiday!!!

For us, it was the perfect vacation at the Jawakara Resort—an experience we will never forget! From arrival to departure, you get an authentic feeling of being “at home” and truly welcome, which made leaving after 8 days quite difficult. We didn’t miss a thing in our beach villa with the all-inclusive package. Our host Mohamed was always available for us via WhatsApp. Activities like snorkeling, water sports, jet skiing, and diving are all possible, making it easy to fill an entire week. Special thanks to Afrohn from housekeeping for the great room service, Arun from the kitchen for the delicious food, his excellent service, and wonderful personality, as well as all the service staff at the Saima restaurant, where we enjoyed most of our meals! We were warmly welcomed by our concierge, Azu, who took excellent care of us throughout the trip—always available to answer questions, make reservations, and ensure all our needs were met. We really enjoyed all the à la carte restaurants and had an amazing experience connecting with nature, something the hotel provides beautifully. The entire hotel staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, making us feel completely at home. We truly hope to return many times.

I could not recommend a trip to Jawakara Islands highly enough. My partner and I wanted to go somewhere special for my 30th birthday and decided upon the Maldives. We booked through Simply Maldives (would also highly recommend), who suggested this location as we wanted a luxury and quiet experience, but also with activities to take part in. We had an absolutely amazing time and we couldn’t find fault in any aspect of our holiday - the arrival and departure logistics, seaplane transfers, the housekeeping, general service (even just riding around the island, all the staff were so friendly!), all buffet and a la carte restaurants, bars and activities. We felt like we were in our own bubble, especially on Dheru island, where we stayed in a water villa. We felt that the premium all inclusive package was outstanding in value for the food and drink - we went to Umi twice and all other a la carte restaurants once - and the activity options available; we thought this allowed you to experience everything on the island and have a more active holiday if you wanted that (equally, we could see that if you wanted a very relaxed holiday, this was very possible too as all three pools looked excellent). The Jawakara team also surprised me for my birthday and our island host, the housekeeping team and the Umi staff all went above and beyond for me - this was a super special touch that I was not expecting at all. Before booking, we had no idea that such packages existed and we’re so glad that Simply Maldives recommended Jawakara to us. We would thoroughly advise researching the offered packages in general when selecting an island, as I thought it would just be food and drink before coming and it can actually be much more than that! We thought this would be a once in a lifetime holiday, but after the experience we had we are now certain that we want to come again! We would have no hesitation in booking Jawakara Islands again and via Simply Maldives - any other resort for an active, luxury couples holidays would have a lot to live up to.

The island exceeded all our expectations. The bungalow, the food were sensational. The bungalow was very comfortable and clean, we found everything we could imagine, including the food. Our host, Azu, helped us with everything, organized all the programs. We would go back anytime and probably will.

We spent 10 days on Jawakara Island for our honeymoon and it was complete paradise! We landed and was given a tour around the beautiful island by our host Aaidh who was always on hand to help with anything we needed! We had a beach pool villa on the island of mabin and it was stunning! The villa was always kept clean twice a day by the cleaning men and the pool was always cleaned daily. We had so much fun during our time there, from biking and walking around the island, to having a lovely massage in the spa and playing a couple of rounds of golf! A big highlight was the dolphin sunset cruise and also the snorkelling. We hired our snorkels and the sea was mesmerising with the amount of sea life and picturesque views. Every single member of staff you encounter are so lovely and friendly and in terms of the restaurants, we have never been to a place where the food has been top grade every day and night. We want to personally thank Arun and Lahiru on the live cooking stations who cooked the most tastiest and perfect food. Hasindu who every night was creating the best desserts on the live dessert station and Saravanan who cooked amazing naans at the tandoori station every night. Each of these chefs were so friendly and each day we would look forward to seeing them and experiencing the amazing food they cooked every single time. They really made our holiday experience the best! Also we want to say thankyou Armelia, Govin and Kalum at Saima restaurant and Mahendra at the Hideout for always looking after us each day and making sure we had drinks constantly and had a lovely day! We would 100% recommend going to Jawakara over and over again. There is nothing we could have faulted during our stay and we are already looking to go back as soon as possible.

Had the most amazing time at Jawakara. I want to keep this place a secret!! The staff and management are what makes this island stand out, every single member of staff always had a smile and a hello. The food and drinks are top quality and was never disappointed. Molo had to be our favourite, the arancini is delicious and the chef even came out to give us the recipe. Aziz was our guest relations and did the perfect job of booking restaurants and activities. You get in touch via WhatsApp and messages are answered immediately. We had an over water villa, this was beautiful and had everything you needed. Romesh looked after our villa and couldn’t do enough to ensure we had a perfect stay. I feel he went above and beyond. The management team are constantly engaging with guests to ensure everything is ok. We will most definitely be going back

We have just had a wonderful trip to Jawakara. I highlight recommend you visit this island, particularly if you have children. The staff here are amazing and the manager Navaz is an absolute legend. There are so many activities to experience in the island: a golf course, a golf simulator, a games room, kids’ club, a gym, pools and a Spa, just to name a few things! There are multiple restaurants, our favourite was Umi which serves delicious Asian food with a panoramic view of the water; their Chilli infused cocktail is possibly the best drink I have ever had! We also couldn’t believe the quality and variety offered by the buffet restaurant. We stayed in a pool water villa which felt so luxurious, we got the best nights’ sleep ever and it was such a privilege to wake up and look across the endless ocean whilst having a morning swim in our private infinity pool. You simply have to go on their sunset cruise, we saw turtles, rays, dolphins, pilot whales and nurse sharks; all whilst sipping some glasses of champagne, I’m not sure life gets much better than this? If you like snorkelling then Jawakara is a great place to me. Just on our morning swim this morning we saw sharks, sting rays, eagle rays and turtles as well as a huge array of colourful fish and other marine life. We were so sad to leave the island but were given a beautiful farewell from Navaz and some of his staff. What a trip! I have attached some photographs but please note that I’m a terrible photographer! If you want my advice, book Jawakara right now! Thank you to everyone on the island, especially Nazaz who was such a kind, thoughtful and attentive host, and an honourary mention has to also go to Roma who never allowed our drinks glasses to be empty!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay—far beyond our expectations! The entire team made our honeymoon incredibly special with their warmth and attention to detail. A huge thank you to Babu and Faisal from the cooking team for their delicious food and kindness—Babu, in particular, went above and beyond and truly deserves a promotion! Ganga and Somu from the service team were always attentive and welcoming, and Ram from the room cleaning team kept everything spotless. We felt so well cared for throughout our stay. The only small downside was the return transport to Malé Airport at the end of our holiday, which was poorly organized. We arrived very late, had to rush to catch our flight, and ended up feeling quite stressed during what should have been a relaxed ending to our perfect honeymoon. Sadly, we also didn’t have any time to buy souvenirs at the airport. But all in all: Hotel stay Highly recommended!

From the moment we stepped off the seaplane we can only describe our stay as paradise with exceptional service from beginning to end. Surrounded by wonderful staff who was always smiling and went above an beyond to assist you. We were greeted by our wonderful host Ashraf. He gave us a tour around the island then we arrived at our Mabin water villa, we was blown away the room was spotless and this was maintained by our wonderful room attendant Rasheed, nothing was too much for him always ensuring we had everything we needed and checking if there was anything more we required. Beautiful blue skies and clear water full of an assortment of fish, baby sharks, rays and we even captured the sight of a turtle. Amazing place to stay. We had some lovely meals in Umi, Airla. Hideout and Saima restaurants, unfortunately we did not get to visit Molo but was told by other guest’s how nice it was. All served by the most attentive staff. In Saima we had the pleasure of excellent service from Kali who from the first meeting knew where we liked to sit, remembered our first names and our drinks order. Unfortunately i can not recall the names of the other members of staff, if only i could because they were all exceptional lead by a fantastic restaurant manager , who used to live and work in Sheffield. Our Dolphin Cruise was well worth the wait to capture the sight of Dolphins. If you ever get the opportunity to visit this amazing island please do. We've just back from a 7 nights holiday and have had the most amazing time. We stayed in the ocean villa on a Premium All inclusive basis. Villa 163 on the sunrise side on Maabin. The destination is like out of a postcard- the most beautiful I have ever seen....

We've just back from a 7 nights holiday and have had the most amazing time. We stayed in the ocean villa on a Premium All inclusive basis. Villa 163 on the sunrise side on Maabin. The destination is like out of a postcard- the most beautiful I have ever seen. The room is well equiped with everything you could need including slippers, gowns, beach bag, shampoo, condition, sun/body lotions, tooth brushes, loofah shave kits- you name it its there. rain coats, umbrellas life jackets, bicycles- everything you could possible need is catered for with a well stocked mini bar. Cleaners came twice a day, they would tidy up in the evening, close the umbrella, change towels etc. During the day there were many activities to do which are included in the PAI package which also included ala cart restaurants, yoga, aerobics, golf, diving, snorkelling lessons, wind surfing and spa treatment. We also had our clothes washed and ironed inclusive for our return home ( the icing on the cake) The buffet restaurants are great, offering a great selection of food and drinks and the Ala carts are amazing where we enjoyed some great cuisine. The resort was fully booked when we were there but it never felt crowded and there were never in queues at dinner times. We really did not want to come back :( So why the 4 stars?? We had the most amazing time and didn't let the below ruin our holiday but with this being a premium resort at a premium price these things need to be fed back and improved in my opinion. 1. I felt the presence of Jawakara staff at the Male airport wasn't great going in and out. When we arrived there were representatives from other resorts but not for Jawakara- we had to ask around and find the desk and then were guided to someone who helped us check in for the sea plane transfer. On the return it was exactly the same- as we had a short time for our connecting flight back, it felt a little stressful as we didnt know where to collect the luggage from - again other resort reps helped us find the rep for Jawakara 2. When we arrived at the resort I had completed online check in for the resort which I had specified a Halal diet- when we arrived in our room we were greeted with alcohol and a cake for our anniversary. it was a lovel gesture but we don't drink. Our resort Rep said he would send us some non- alcohlic instead. we later had a deliver of another bottle of alcohol- both bottles stayed in our room for the duration of the stay as we don't drink. 3. We ate at the Aila restaurant on one of the nights- we ordered a mix grill and asked for the Pork to be removed to which the waiter agreed. When the dish arrived my husband asked again and it turned out that the Pork had not been removed. The manager did apologies for this the next day, but I think dietary requierments are really crucial and can't be taken lightly. 4. on the last day our resort rep had sent a whatsapp message to say our luggage would be collected at 6am after which we'd have breakfast and then take our seaplane back to Male airport. At 6.15 no one had arrived so I messaged the rep who didnt reply. at 6.20 i rang reception who sent someone to get our luggage. this delay meant we couldn't have a proper breakfast and it felt a little stressful. Would I go back? Definately would not hesitate to book again. The staff were great and so was the customer service- i am sure the above improvements will be made

The villas were stunning – spacious, spotless, and offering breathtaking views. We had the most wonderful two weeks on Jawakara staying at a beach villa on Dheru. The host Azu was fantastic arranging our restaurants, massages and excursions and checking up on us everyday to make sure everything was going great. The staff and bar people at the Vela restaurant could not do enough for you and they made our stay so special, I miss you all! Thanks also to the Food & Beverage Managers who took time out to chat and make us feel like valued guests. We ate in the Hideout, Molo and Umi and enjoyed each one. The massages were great and the attention to detail of the room and surroundings made for a wonderful stay. I can’t wait to return.

Jawakara exceeded our expectations - the water villa, villa host, food and kindness of all staff. We reviewed over 30 hotels in Maldives and decided on Jawakara because of the range of restaurants and modern interiors. We stayed in the water villa as this was the dream and we were on Dheru island (our recommendation). Our island host was Zaleeq and he was available all times and days on WhatsApp to pick us up in the buggy, schedule and reschedule, make recommendations, anything at all, just to make your life easier. Being available to us meant we didn’t lift a finger and rested. Ashfaq in Vela restaurant leads a brilliant team and the buffet meals were excellent. We loved our dinner at Umi and the following night we ate the best lobster with Matthew the teppanyaki chef. Top recommendations: - go to Jawakara .. you don’t need to do the 30 hotel research I did - stay on dheru island - book the premium all inclusive package (PAI) like 90% of other guests. It’s great value - pay extra for the teppanyaki with Matthew. The lobster was huge and great value. The wine list in Umi is world class and inclusive in PAI - my husband wasn’t bothered about his free treatment so we were able to add ours together and I had an hour body massage. It was incredible - fly by seaplane. It really added to the experience and felt 100% safe

Hi everyone, we travelled to Jawakara islands in november 2025. We stayed in the islands for 10days. We received a warm welcome from the employes. I want to mention our Guest Relations Officer-Nipun. He is a very kind, patient and respectful man, we could wrote to him anytime and he solved everthing in the shortest time possible. He held a tour about the islands with the buggy: where are the restaurants fittnes etc... which was very helpful,I highly reccomend him !! Our package included one time spa, snorkeling, one lunch and one dinner to the a la carte restaurants. Nipun helped with our reservation and with the transportation to the appointments. Luckily we had a really really nice weather as well. We stadey at the Mabin beach villas. The view from our room is absolute madness, like in the movies or in the magazines. We really liked the privacy -there were separated beach beds for every cabins devided by trees and bushes from the neighbours. The foods were amazing with a wide selection. The staff at the restaurants and the bars are amazing as well. The purpose of our trip was to rest and relax. This island is the perfect destination for everybody who has the same goal. Whether it's reserving restaurants, booking diving excursions, or arranging 24-hour transportation with an electric buggy to take you anywhere on the island. Thank you so much for your care, Cory; you were like a mother to us. And your team, especially in the restaurants, was exceptional. Such polite and kind people, from the restaurant manager to the waiters, Rahoul and Azzaam—you are role models for everyone working in the hospitality industry. Beyond that, everything else was first-class. The water villa was a dream, the room service staff came up to four times a day, bringing ice cubes every day and always asking if we needed anything. You are truly pampered from morning till night, and that also includes the food. The restaurants are outstanding; even the buffet restaurants offered everything the sea has to offer, freshly caught. Reef fish, tuna fillets, all-you-can-eat like oysters, octopus, shrimp, lobster... Here's a little tip: Only book the Premium All Inclusive package, because everything you order is outrageously expensive. A Coke from the minibar costs €8. In the Maldives, everything has to be imported by ship or plane. With the Premium All Inclusive, even the minibar is included (we had €1000 on our list for that) and all drinks in the restaurants, wines from Germany, France, and Italy—truly premium—and the cocktails. The minibar is stocked with bottles of gin and whiskey, which are replaced daily when they run out. And there are no surprises at checkout; lunch for two costs US$180. We spent €0 on extras, except for the scuba diving. In conclusion: We travel a lot, and with business trips, I've sometimes clocked up to 200 overnight stays a year. But this trip was absolutely fantastic and without a single complaint.

It was a dream vacation for us with nothing but consistently positive experiences. The transfers from the airport to the resort and back were organized by the resort. This was exceptionally well-structured, including a stay in the seaplane terminal lounge. During our 13-day stay, we had a Waterpool Villa on Mabin, which was superb in every respect. It was clean, the view was brilliant, and the pool was, of course, fantastic. All amenities were provided, and the minibar's selection was unbeatable. We also want to especially commend the room service, which always did an excellent job and even provided service twice a day upon request. We booked all-inclusive. The food at the buffet restaurant (Saima) was always fresh and delicious. We loved it. The staff there were always cheerful and always put a smile on our faces. They anticipated our every need. The à la carte restaurants also offered top-notch service and quality. We also thoroughly enjoyed the diverse activities on the island. Booking via the app is quick and easy. We went snorkeling every day, which was a new experience each time. The golf course and staff also deserve high praise! We also think the bicycles that were permanently available for exploring the island were really cool; and if not, there was a buggy service that picked us up. Our host Mohamed made our already perfect trip even more special. He was always there to help and took such good care of us, for which we would like to thank him again.

We don’t have much annual leave, so we don’t mind paying a bit extra to ensure a truly great vacation. We’ve travelled extensively over the years — Asia, Mexico, the USA, and several cruises on top-tier ships — but our stay at Jawakara was something truly exceptional. We spent the first half of our stay in a Mabin Beach Pool Villa and the second half in a Mabin Ocean Pool Villa. Both were fantastic, but the Ocean Villa was on an entirely different level — absolutely breathtaking. Our tour operator, Tourpacific, recommended the Premium All Inclusive package, which really set the tone for the whole trip. The food and drinks were consistently five-star quality for two weeks — incredible. A special highlight was our service agent Ijoo, who took care of us in a way we’ve never experienced before. He was always just a WhatsApp message away, ensuring that restaurant reservations, excursions, and spa treatments were perfectly arranged and completely hassle-free. The journey from Stockholm is long — about 24 hours each way — Many airports and airplanes Now it’s time to start saving for our next holiday and working off all the amazing food. Our morning house-reef snorkeling tour had us swimming around like crazy, trying to capture as much of the incredible underwater life as possible. And after lunch, we simply couldn’t resist heading straight back into the water for another session right in front of our villa. For us, there genuinely couldn’t have been a better place to stay. The cosy accommodation was more than we could have hoped for and we appreciate it more than words can express. We spent our 2 week honeymoon at Jawakara and absolutely fell in love with the island. We are already looking forward to coming back for another vacation! The service was exceptional — from the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we felt completely cared for and looked after. A heartfelt thank-you to Mohamed for his wonderful support. He was always available whenever we had questions or needed anything, and he truly helped make our honeymoon unforgettable. We couldn’t have imagined better care. We enjoyed our stay to the fullest and can highly recommend this resort. It’s a beautiful luxury destination with outstanding service and amazing staff — no wishes remain unfulfilled. A special highlight for us was the Aila Restaurant, which spoiled us every single day. The service team, the chefs at the live stations, and the tandoori station provided us with exceptional culinary experiences. Their warmth and kindness played a big part in making us want to return. We also loved the golf course — it was a wonderful activity during our stay. We played the 9-hole course six times and were impressed by the friendly staff at the Golf Club and the beautiful grounds.

My wife and I spent a few days at Jawakara in the Maldives, and it turned out to be exactly the kind of vacation we had been craving — calm, beautiful, and genuinely caring. From the very first moment, everything was perfectly organized. I want to give special thanks to our manager, Könül. She greeted us after the transfer, took us by electric cart to our villa, and stayed in touch throughout our entire stay. Any question we had — whether it was something small or a request for recommendations — we went to her, and every time she handled everything quickly and with genuine kindness. You could really feel her involvement and that she truly wanted us to be comfortable. The island itself is well-kept, the water looks like it’s straight from a postcard, the food is great, and the whole atmosphere makes you want to slow down and switch off your mind. But it was mainly thanks to Könül that we felt not just like guests, but like people who were genuinely cared for. We definitely recommend this resort — and if you get the chance, ask to be looked after by Könül. She made our stay warm, easy, and unforgettable.

Our honeymoon trip to the Maldives was truly unforgettable. We stayed at Jawakara, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. From start to finish, we had an incredible time. A special highlight of our stay was our hotel guide, Cory, who genuinely perfected our trip. She was always reachable, incredibly attentive, and proactively arranged many of our activities in advance—something especially helpful since spots often filled up quickly. Thanks to her, we enjoyed snorkeling at the house reef, a beginner’s golf session, a 30 minute massage at the Ocean view Spa, a couple‘s photoshooting, and a magical sunset dolphin cruise. She also organized us a lunch at Hideout-Restaurant, where we were treated a delicious three-course menu (highly can recommend their steak, it was true perfection!) and a three-course-dinner at Umi, which was nice as well. The hotel staff as a whole was exceptionally friendly and quick to assist with anything we needed. The food was excellent, offering a wide variety at the buffet, and the three bars provided tasty snacks and drinks throughout the day. Our overwater villa with a private pool was absolute perfection—highly recommended for anyone seeking peace, privacy, and stunning views. It was really clean and housekeeping came twice a day to clean everything up! Overall, we couldn’t have been more satisfied. Jawakara gave us a dream honeymoon, and Cory‘s dedication made it truly exceptional. We would return in a heartbeat.

We haven't had such a wonderful time and we travel a lot and we have seen a lot of things. A house is a house, a bed is a bed, the sun and the sea are the same, but Man is the key to success. I work in hospitality and Azu is the person who needs to educate others on how to do it. Unfortunately, we booked a week at Jawakara and the second week on a nearby island. We were really sad to have to leave. Jawakara is a real Gem and discovery for us because this is our second time in the Maldives this year. We had such a good time on our Dheru island that we only went to Mabin island once. Be sure to book Premium All Inclusive because literally everything is included in the activities. Real Value for money. Location of the island is perfect 35min by plane from Male. We were not the biggest fans of going somewhere hot during the winter holidays, but Jawakara definitely changed our belief. An amazing experience from the beginning till the end. Our welcoming ceremony is when we also met Cris (an extraordinary pleasant and helpful human being, walked and helped us through the whole resort, explaining everything we needed to know, also making sure that we have every reservation assured). We felt like we were in another dimension, every meal was carefully cooked, not just simple salted and sugarish food. All the personnel was attentive and always there with a smile on their faces. You cannot get bored there, they offer a significant amount of activities (many of them being included in the premium all inclusive package which we recommend truly).

Fabulous resort. Twinned Dheru with another hotel in the C&C group and we were so impressed with the island. We had a PV on the sunset side which was perfect. Beautiful beach and a lovely breeze most days (sunrise calmer & hotter!). Villa was beautiful and had everything we needed, and lots of lush vegetation around the garden giving lots of shade and privacy. Although there’s no accessible reef directly from either island there’s plenty of fish, large sharks, rays and turtles so don’t let that put you off. Food was excellent we mostly ate at the Vela buffet and every night there were fabulous dishes, much of it freshly prepared in front of you, fresh tuna, steaks and a tandoori hut also cooking to order! Priyajitt, Ashfaqq and their teams provided the best service and nothing was too much trouble. They even prepared us a special Maldivian curry & breads on our final evening. Umi the Japanese inspired over water restaurant is simply stunning, we had drinks there most evenings and ate twice it was fabulous. Our Host Diarani was incredibly helpful and was always on hand to organise refilling the mini bar, booking restaurants and sending ice to our villa and was in touch every day to check we were ok and to keep us up to date with any island recommendations and activities, and she arranged for us to visit Nala the new adults only resort that has just opened next to Mabin, thank you Dia 🙏 And our housekeeper Aju was also amazing our room was always perfect and he left us beautiful sand pictures and messages every evening. I’ve mentioned a few of the champions but literally every one we came into contact with were friendly, kind and helpful and really made our trip very special & memorable. This island was a total revelation as we’ve stayed in much more expensive resorts in the Maldives and Jawakara punches well above its weight as a simply fabulous all round choice - we will definitely be returning!! Review of Jawakara Maldives – 98% Our stay at Jawakara Maldives was truly exceptional and close to perfect. Upon arrival by seaplane, we were warmly welcomed by Rojila, who took care of us throughout the entire stay. She planned our activities, assisted us with everything we needed, and was always available. Her professionalism and genuine care made a huge difference and elevated our whole experience. We stayed in a beautiful villa with a private pool and an outdoor bathroom. The outdoor bathroom was stunning, especially the spacious shower, which felt very luxurious and private. The private pool was cleaned regularly and always perfectly maintained, making it ideal for relaxing at any time of the day. The location is stunning – crystal-clear water, beautiful beaches, and rich marine life. One side of the island has slightly stronger currents, while the other offers calm waters, perfect for swimming and snorkeling. We were lucky to see sharks, corals, and manta rays, which was absolutely unforgettable. Housekeeping was excellent and done twice a day – bed made in the morning and turndown service in the evening. Special thanks to Faisal, whose cleaning was incredibly precise and detailed. Transportation around the island is very convenient. You can either request a private buggy or simply hop on one of the buggies regularly driving around the island, with designated stops available. Regarding the bars and restaurants under the Ultra All Inclusive package, I would rate it 95%. Almost everything was included, with only a few premium brands excluded. The only thing missing was a clearer overview of which drinks were included and which were not. I highly recommend the guided jet ski excursion, which was an amazing experience and definitely worth it. Overall, Jawakara Maldives exceeded our expectations. Beautiful nature, excellent service, outstanding staff, and a truly relaxing atmosphere. Overall rating: 98% – highly recommended.

The service was truly outstanding – the staff was extremely attentive, friendly, and always went out of their way to make sure every request or concern was handled quickly and professionally. You really feel well taken care of at all times. The entire resort is immaculately maintained and very clean, which adds a lot to the overall feeling of luxury and relaxation. The food was excellent, offering great quality and variety throughout our stay. Every meal was a highlight, and there was something for everyone. Another big plus is the layout of the resort. Even though the hotel was fully booked, it never felt crowded at all. The spacious design and well-distributed areas make it easy to enjoy privacy and tranquility at all times. Overall, the range of services and activities offered was impressive and contributed to an unforgettable holiday. We would highly recommend Jawakara Maldives and would happily return again.

The trip to Jawakara was the best vacation we've ever had and also it was a perfect honeymoon destination. The structure of the islands are well thought out and everything is designed perfectly. We were in a Mabin Beach Pool Villa which is spacious, always clean (it was cleaned multiple times a day), it has a beautiful partially open bathroom, has it's own pool and a direct access to the ocean. Although there are around 300 villas in total, we've always had privacy and it never felt crowded on the island. The buffet restaurant on Mabin had amazing, tasty food and besides that our favorite a la carte restaurant is Umi. It offers amazing Asian cuisine and a stunning ocean view, worth a viisit. And also I want to highlight the professionalism, dedication and kindness of the staff. At random times during our stay we were approached by some of the staff members to check if we're enjoying everything and if there's something they can do to make our stay better. Our wonderful host Naffaz was amazing! He also checked up on us every day, reminded us of our scheduled activities and lunches and was always there for us, to answer questions or fix any issues we had during the stay. Naffaz gave us the warmest welcome and with him we were able to fully relax When we return to the Maldives, we will choose Jawakara again 100%

This was our 2nd visit to the Maldives and we had a warm welcome by our wonderful host Azu, who was available at all times to assist us, and nothing was too much trouble for him! We stayed on Derhu which was beautiful. Umi restaurant was outstanding. The buffet, didn’t always live up to expectations for myself but that’s personal taste. Service throughout was first class. Unfortunately the coral is dead, so we only had one snorkelling trip. Sitting at breakfast we saw eagle rays, sting rays, black tips and turtles daily, which was amazing. Truly a barefoot island. Would I recommend, yes, yes, yes!

Before beginning this review it’s important to note that my wife has been wanting to come to the Maldives since she was 15 years old and it still blew our expectations! We stayed at Dheru Island for 5 days in December 2025 before moving to the Nala Island. This review is for the Dheru Island stay. The whole experience from start to finish was absolutely amazing! We were welcomed with drums as soon as we stepped onto the jetty and our Island host (Diarani) took us for a tour around the island and left us to have lunch whilst our room was being prepared. The room itself was generously spacious and we had paid for the overwater villa so had the private swimming pool and stairs down to the sea. The water is more beautiful and clearer than you can see in the pictures, it’s genuinely breathtaking!!! The rooms are cleaned daily and you can't hear any other villa when your in your room. The only problem with the rooms is that the privacy is not as good as we expected. We were in the most private part possible in the over water Villa which looked out onto the sea, however, any other guests staying in the Villas (or Island generally) will often swim in the sea near your villa. They are easily able to see your private pool and decking area. This is important to note if you need to be covered for religious reasons. However, it’s still more private than the beach villas where you have the same issue as people walk on the beach past the villas. We recommended to the manager they install some one-way glass at the edge of the infinity pool to prevent this and I hope they heed this. It’s a real shame as this is one of the only locations that could have true complete privacy and all it would take is one adjustment. Other than this the Villa was perfect! One of the main highlights of the Dheru/Mabin is the sheer number of activities available. They have their own app which allows you to book activities as well as see what entertainment they have on in the evenings. We noted there was particularly good activities for children/teens if you’re travelling as a family (though they mostly had an additional charge). The only problem we found was the ‘free for all inclusive’ activities such as house reef snorkelling were booked up most days so highly recommend booking on the first day. As for the food, the buffet food is itself excellent and there is so much choice! They cater for everyone. If you pay for all-inclusive you also get a booking at the À la carte restaurant depending on how long you stay. These are outstanding, our particular favourites being the Molo and Hideaway. The staff are so welcoming and hospitable from all areas of the island. Our host Diarani had booked us for the essential trips that are hard to book and the À la carte restaurants and she was available whenever we needed. Diarani also recommended us to try the Nala island based on our occasion which was really thoughtful. The final highlight is the beautiful water which is especially breathtaking on the bridge between the Mabin/Dheru. You can spot mantas and the water is a teal colour not found elsewhere on the Island. Our only real criticism of Jawakara is that any sort of excursion or additional activity that wasn’t part of the all inclusive would be so overpriced that it left us wondering who could possibly afford them. If you’re just a regular person who works a job and has saved many years for this trip then be prepared for this - a lot of activities are for ultra rich. For example, $400 just for two people to have the same meal you can eat inside, but on the beach. If you want to go to the Capital for a day trip its $440 per person. A jetski is $160 for just half an hour and so forth. Perhaps they need to review this. Despite this, our experience of Dheru/Mabin was amazing. The island didn’t feel crowded but that might have been when we went in early December. They have lovely little touches like the swings and hammocks and each villa gets their own bikes to ride around the island. The bikes are a must have as the activities are in different places. There were some small issues e.g. when our bike needing fixing it took a few days but nothing major. Overall I would highly recommend this for couples and families alike. However if your looking for that more intimate experience like for a honeymoon, then we’d recommend choosing the Nala island next door which is part of the same resort. Top Tips Watch out for additional baggage charges for both your hand luggage and checked luggage when you fly into Male airport – they will re-weigh your luggage and charge you for each kg over before your allowed to travel onto your resort. Also ensure you take your own medicine and cream for insect/mosquito bite (The island sprays twice a day but you can still get bitten. We were lucky enough to avoid bites at Dheru but were stung almost daily on the Nala island!)
