The towels and sheets felt a little crusty, but overall felt safe here. All the staff was kind and helpful in the check in and check out process. Side note, had the best mushroom tacos at the corner food stand. Just step out to the left.

We stayed here overnight as we were getting the ferry from Chetumal to Belize the next day and wanted something within walking distance of the ferry terminal. It was a perfectly adequate hotel. Here are a few of my thoughts on the specifics. * LOCATION - Located around 700m from the ferry terminal so within walking distance to same. * HOT WATER - Worked fine for us * SECURITY - Door and windows locked * WIFI - Worked fine but the annoying thing is rather than give you a wifi password they give you a specific code that needs to be put into the system. The problem with this is two fold (1) It only lasts 2 days (so you need to get another one after 48 hours (2) It only allows you to connect one device to the wifi (Ie you cannot connect a iPad and iPhone using the same code, I tried). * ROOMS - The room was clean. It had comfortable beds and the air conditioning worked well. Overall our stay was perfectly adequate for purpose. This hotel lacked any degree of sex appeal as the place was a bit dated but all was serviceable which is all I guess one can expect from the limited options available in Chetumal.

Good place to stop on your way to Belize. A bit noisy due the area. Prices are fair. The room is super clean. Good for one night. The staff is alwasy there and security all over the place. As I mentioned great for one night.

The hotel has secure parking and is on the main road in & out of the city, although there is no restaurant or bar it is close to a number to choose from.

We booked the Casa Blanca at the last minute, and it turned out to be better than we expected! There was free coffee in the 24-h reception area (good coffee, not crap), and the rooms were spotless. There's a nice garden area in the middle of the hotel with tables,...

We booked the Casa Blanca at the last minute, and it turned out to be better than we expected! There was free coffee in the 24-h reception area (good coffee, not crap), and the rooms were spotless. There's a nice garden area in the middle of the hotel with tables, benches, and chairs where you can relax and drink your free coffee. The parking on either side of the hotel was gated, which was a must for us. We never felt like it was unsafe there. There's an elevator to the fifth (top) floor, or you can take the stairs. The elevator is FAST too. No restaurant in the hotel, but there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, and so is the lively Centro area and the waterfront with a plaza, statues, and places for kids to play. The theme! Oh yes, the theme. This hotel is like Casablanca Morocco, and the windows, decorations, and logo embrace Moroccan architecture (basically the mushroom roof). Even the entrance to the elevator is carved out to match the theme! It made the Casa Blanca a little more fun than just another ho-hum business hotel. The location on one of the main roads in and out of town, made it super convenient to get in and get out of Chetumal. Basically this was a great choice for the money, would definitely stay here again. Give a thumbs up if you found this review helpful.
