From the moment we arrived we were treated brilliantly. From welcome champagne to having Saurav as our Butler, nothing was too much trouble. We were in a beautiful fantasy world of excellent food , drink and surroundings. The restaurants were all excellent , especially Gianfathi seafood restaurant. Falu served delicious a la carte food and as with everywhere on the resort , the staff were excellent. Everyone from the gardeners to waiters and butlers were welcoming , courteous and friendly. Saurav was always available ; booking restaurant tables , activities and offering transport if required. He ensured our departure day was as enjoyable as every other day of our holiday. Ensuring we had access to all facilities all day before our late departure .

We spent a very enjoyable week in the Aarah Heritance in March 2025. The staff were all very pleasant, the food was exceptional in all restaurants, the facilities were all great, very clean and really well maintained, and the various trips and activities were all good (incl. sunrise yoga, if you are able for a 06:30 start). Our butler, Zineb, organised all our restaurant bookings and activities very efficiently and sorted out one or two issues on the way. I would strongly recommend getting your snorkelling gear very early in your stay and swimming in various spots around the island. The sea life is really nice and the water quality is exceptional. From the Ocean villa deck, and from swimming off the deck several times daily, we got to see stingray, reef sharks, a turtle, and the most amazing array of colourful fish if you swim out just a little to spots where there are small amounts of coral. I would also recommend the snorkelling excursions, the dive centre team are all really nice and seeing mantarays and turtles in their natural setting is exceptional. You don’t have to be a strong swimmer to go swimming or snorkelling as the water is very salty and keeps you afloat, but life jackets are provided in the villa if you want to use them. Other local interesting wild life included a heron and a few large bats (when compared to the small bats we have in Ireland)… don’t worry the bats fly very high and don’t come anywhere near humans. Other fun things we did was use the kayaks which were available in the water sport centre. There are also paddle and tennis courts and a good gym if you are so inclined with a wide host of other activities. We stayed in a sunset villa [806] and the room was well appointed and all the toiletries, drinks, and confectionary were very good quality [e.g. Elemis, good quality spirits, Lindt chocolate etc.]. The room had life jackets and umbrellas for when there was the occasional shower or for shade from the sun. There was a good size TV but we didn’t turn it on once during our stay, and WiFi quality was good, although we did not really watch any streaming content during our stay either. So, after that long list of great things why the 4 star review? Well, we had some minor challenges during our week: 1. When we arrived we had been assigned a beach villa when we had booked an ocean villa. To be fair this was rectified within an hour or so, but was a bit distressing at the time as my wife does not like geckos which are most likely to be in and around the beach villas… but to be fair we only saw a few geckos during our whole stay. 2. We had a minor issue with WiFi on one of our days on all devices but again this was rectified after reporting it to Zineb. The WiFi seemed like it was good quality and worked everywhere throughout the resort. 3. Due to no fault of staff or management one of our Ocean villa neighbours, when not having screaming matches, had brought a drone with camera and were flying it in front of neighbouring villas. This really did compromise privacy. We eventually noted it with our butler as we felt there must have been a resort policy on this type of thing and by chance, or because of reporting it, we thankfully did not see the drone again. 4. The air conditioning in the room was definitely poor, and whilst it was a warm week I would have expected it to operate way better. We did not report this to our butler as we had the issue with the villa when we arrived, WiFi and an issue with the neighbour’s drone, so we did not want to raise any more issues. Our butler was always very responsive but definitely seemed very busy. 5. The resort was quite full during our week [06/03 - 13/03], but we understand that is not typical as they were catering for a large private party that week. This did not adversely impact service overall but the bar was full on occasions and different restaurants were block booked on each night. The plus side was they seemed like a nice party and were celebrating a 40th birthday party, and whilst largely private added some atmosphere. 6. Finally, there was a very pleasant singer in the main bar area most evenings and a DJ one evening. Music continued until midnight most evenings. If you were in the lower even numbers of the 800+ villas the music was relatively loud. To be honest this wasn’t a major issue as we generally liked the music and would spend a little time lying out in the deck area in the balmy night heat before going to bed. I was just a little surprised more was not done to control the volume / direction of the sound as it might upset some and could be easily solved. I would say that 90% plus of the accommodation on the island would not be able to hear this. All in all we did enjoy our time in the Aarah Heritance and would like to thank all the team for their commitment and hard work in trying to make this a great experience for guests. We are considering if we should try here again in 2026 to see if we can upgrade our rating to a 5 star as I do believe it is both achievable and justifiable in most instances. We would recommend this as a very good quality vacation location. It is designed for couples / adults in our view, but there were a few children who were very happy around the resort.

My wife and I spent a wonderful week at Heritance Aarah, during which we both celebrated a birthday, with the help of the excellent staff at the Ralu restaurant. The food and service in the three other restaurants (Ranba, Ambula and Ginifathi) were also top class, as was the help provided by our butler Preetham, who made the whole week perfect by arranging our dinner bookings, various cruises, spa treatments and activities and generally looked after us. The ocean villa was extremely comfortable and quiet with a superb view and easy access to the sea. We spent a long time just relaxing and watching the fish pass by. Transport to and from the island was very well organised, and we never had to worry about anything.

Excellent resort and stay. There was a good selection of restaurants, in particular Ambula was great. Always a good choice of vegetarian options at most restaurants including an entire menu at the buffet available every evening. Our main highlight was Saurav who made our entire stay very easy and enjoyable - it felt we didn’t even have to lift a finger whilst we were there as he arranged every little detail for our entire stay - thank you!

Just returned from 9 nine days on this wonderful island. If you are looking for one grade up from a simple island life but nothing too intense Heritance fits the bill. A 30 minute walk round the beach is all it takes to circumnavigate it. We were originally offered a beach villa, on the sunset side, near the dive centre, which has the best snorkelling and reef. We loved it there but after 4 days we were then offered an upgrade to one of the ocean villas, which for a change we accepted. So it gave us a different perspective. The main difference to the island we stayed at before (3 years ago on Komandoo) was the Butler service. Preetham was a star and managed our whole stay, from restaurant bookings (a choice of 5) to letting us know what activities were on that day and booking us on the various trips. And if we needed to get anywhere faster he was always there on the whatsapp to come and pick us up in one of the golf buggies that constantly tootle round the island. The food was excellent and very impressive for an island in the middle of nowhere, matched with some familiar wines and top brands if you wanted spirits. Our favourite day to day restaurant was Ralu - which had waiter service but the buffet restaurant Ranba was an easy breakfast or dinner choice too. The rooms, whether beach or ocean villas were of a similar size but for us the convenience of the ocean villas in their proximity to the restaurants and the option of snorkelling straight from the room ( watch out for the local turtle) just edged it for the win. (The posh ocean villas had their own restaurant and infinity pool) Overall the staff were so helpful and friendly it made the whole experience that extra bit special, even with the odd day of rain. And not forgetting the spa- which was very sophisticated and with great staff. ( try the free face analysis...and find your skin age...if you dare) Quibbles? The inclusive boat trips were a little underwhelming with not much commentary or guidance from the boat crew and in our ocean villa the air-con control panel was on the headboard along with all the light switches. This resulted in all the lights being turned on with one accidental turnover during the night and or the air con being switch off unwittingly, causing us to awake in a furnace. ( But we were assured not all the rooms have this set up) All in all a very relaxing stay and an island that excels on 100% Maldive-ness. Say hello to Preetham for us if you are going.

We went for our honeymoon and it was incredible! Would highly recommend if you ever have the opportunity - the food is incredible and the location is unrivalled. Dinu our butler was also lovely and organised all of our dinners / activities for us.

From the moment we were taken to the Heritance departure lounge in Male to await our seaplane transfer we knew this was going to be something special. We were not disappointed as we disembarked to a traditional welcome. Our Ocean Suite had many wow factors including a generous glass floor panel in the lounge. Our experience was further heightened by the choice of restaurants available, welcoming staff, impeccable service and exceptional food. Whilst all the staff provide exceptional service, we must mention our butler and house keeper in particular. Saurav, our butler, was always on hand when required and attended to our requests in a timely fashion. He also kept us informed of any events laid on by the resort and made all our dinner reservations or any changes efficiently. Samrath, our friendly house keeper, maintained our villa with care and attention to detail, without being intrusive. As already mentioned, the food was exceptional, but we must give a special mention to Chef Madhava of Baani restaurant, who created food that you would not find outside of a Michelin star restaurant. Obviously we would not hesitate to recommend this resort to anyone wanting to experience heaven on earth.

This was our second visit to the Maldives, the first being last year where we stayed at two excellent resorts that were really tough acts to follow! One of the reasons we chose Heritance Aarah because we wanted somewhere with a good selection of restaurants so that we didn’t get bored of the food over our 9 day stay, and in this respect it definitely lived up to our expectations. Food Ambula, the Sri Lankan/Maldivian tasting menu restaurant, was excellent and we loved both the standard and vegetarian menus. The staff there were excellent, especially Nilanta. Ginifathi, the seafood grill is very good. There are two menus that switch halfway through the week to give variety. The food was great and we visited there a couple of times. Ralu, the overwater Mediterranean restaurant, was superb with lots of choice and great team, especially Adam, Elina and Damith, who were so attentive. Jasmine, at front of house was fantastic and always made sure we were well looked after. Ranba, the buffet restaurant is good, but not great. A decent selection of food is available with theme nights all week. Generally service was just about okay but on our first night, just after arrival, we went there and didn’t feel too welcome and our waiter wasn’t that interested, which made us worried about what it would be like on the island generally - really not a great first impression. It was similar situation on our only other evening visit there (we discussed this with Deepak, the restaurant manager - see below under areas for improvement). Morning service was better. We often preferred to have breakfast at Ralu (rather than Ranba) because it is overwater and cooler. It doesn’t however start serving breakfast until 10am so if you’re an early riser, you’ll need to use Ranba, which has very good variety. One final thing on the food is the Pizza Shack near the pool; Pizza’s are excellent so highly recommend that for lunch or afternoon bite. Bars We really liked the pool bar - great ambient music and vibe during the day. In the evening, while we were there, was a really good live singer, which we enjoyed. The team there are really good too, particularly Ishan and Sakshi, who looked after us very well. The Pool itself is large and very attractive and at night has lovely lighting. Cocktails were great and they will make your requests - we enjoyed trying a variety from the extensive drinks menu. We went to the Sky Bar on our final night. It’s a beautiful bar above Ambula restaurant with views all around and it was wonderful watching the sun set for up there. Service and cocktails were fantastic. Villa We booked a beach villa, preferring these to overwater accommodation based on our experience last year. We originally tried to book a Sunset Beach Pool Villa, but none were available so we requested a villa on the north side of the island away from the pool and restaurants etc. We had villa 160 which had a nice outlook and was very quiet, with a lovely breeze most of the time. It also meant we had a reasonable walk to and from restaurants which allowed us to at least put in a few steps to compensate for the food! We really liked the villa layout, with spacious main room, comfortable bed and window seat. Wardrobe and storage was fine, not massive but just about enough. Mini bar was okay, never as cold as we would have liked, though. Had most drinks we wanted and they were happy to swap soft drinks for others available. In terms of snacks, they only provide nuts and chocolate. We would have preferred crisps etc that are available in the shop, but we were not allowed to swap nuts for crisps which was disappointing. We are not big wine drinkers, so didn’t use the supplied wine (on wine, I would say that if you are a wine connoisseur, this island might disappoint you. Not a great selection in my opinion). The bathroom area is indoors/outdoors, so you leave the bedroom area and effectively enter a separate section that has an opening to one side albeit it is completely undercover. There’s a bath, shower, sinks and loo as you would expect, along with a separate outdoor shower. We liked this arrangement overall, albeit some elements were a little tired (the blinds, mirror, lighting fittings etc). Outside the villa, there are multiple seating areas, including sunbeds right by the villa which got the sun a lot of the day, a table and chairs and a daybed. In addition, you have your own beach sunbeds that were very comfortable. The villa was cleaned really well and we appreciated the attention to detail (towels always smelled lovely and fresh and we enjoyed the Elemis toiletries. We liked the fact that there were two room refreshes each day. Air-conditioning was excellent. Butler Icy was our butler and was really helpful for booking restaurants and arranging the odd trip. She was always lovely and responsive. Beach and Sea It’s a beautiful island with amazing turquoise water and golden sands. Snorkelling was fun - it’s a good reef with lots to see. There were always small sharks (and the odd ray) patrolling the beaches. The sand is a mixture of soft sand and shell based sand. Some areas (pathways etc) are worn and exposed (concrete showing through, shattering the illusion a little) and some of the shell-sand areas are quite hard to walk on. Spa The Spa is really lovely and we had a wonderful welcome with cold towels and refreshing drink, even when we went there just to book treatment...a nice touch. We booked one treatment, but after the free face/skin analysis (which was really interesting and worth doing….with no hint of trying to upsell any treatments/products as a result), they adjusted the booked treatment to include a mini facial within the time. The therapist was amazing and my wife says it was genuinely one of the best massages that she’s ever had. So if you happen to have Yanti, then you won’t be disappointed. Other The island is very well kept and the walkways are lined with lovely trees/bushes that give off a really beautiful scent. By the way, there are lots of huge fruit bats that were fantastic to see. The Sunset Cruise (included in the all-inclusive package) was really lovely. Very chilled and beautiful way to spend the final hour or so of a day. We also went on the night fishing trip (again included in the package) and this was great and would highly recommend! There were only 3 couples on our boat so was quite relaxed and we all caught a few fish. The crew do all the baiting so fun for everyone. I think it’s worth a mention that Aarah is in close proximity to many other islands so you don’t have an uninterrupted view. Areas for Improvement Some of these are more important than others, but they are not listed to put people off coming as overall our experience was excellent but are hopefully helpful to management. Some are easy fixes. - We didn’t see the manager of the island while we were there, which I think is a shame. - Beach villas are very close together and screening is quite poor/broken so feels less private than we would have liked and also you could be affected by others smoking or playing music. - Not all staff members were as welcoming as others. Some were really excellent and some sadly appeared disinterested. A shout out to restaurant manager, Deepak, who listened to our feedback about Ranba in particular, and did his best to reassure us that he is working on training and things should improve as a result. He and his colleagues made us feel listened to and that there was a genuine desire to improve. - There is the occasional unpleasant industrial smell that comes from the staff/work area in the centre of the island. - We had some rain during our stay and the sunbed cushions are left out so even when it stops raining the sunbed cushions aren’t useable. Suggest having ability to store in poor weather. I also think it’s generally a positive thing when beach sun-beds are straightened and everything cleaned up in the evening. It creates a tidy look and shows an attention to detail and pride in the look of the island generally….but perhaps that’s just my OCD kicking in! - Not sure what can be done about it, but there was always a fairly constant level of carts ferrying people and other stuff around the island which meant you needed to move out of the way multiple times on any walk. I think this is primarily down to the butler system and ferrying people around more than you would on an island that doesn’t have that system. Pros and Cons I guess. - Whilst it was great having a private lounge at the seaplane terminal, the person that welcomed us seemed a little disinterested and the lounge wasn’t manned while we were there, so when we tried to find out the WiFi password, there was nobody to ask. In conclusion we had a really wonderful and relaxing stay and were looked after by some amazing team members. The food is great with an excellent range of options. There are so many positives about the island and with a few small and relatively easy tweaks, it could be even better.

Had a week in a water villa at Meedhupparu then a speedboat from Heritance Aarah collected us ( 6 minute trip ) for a week in a beach villa. And what a perfect week it was too. We were in beach villa 124 and our housekeeper looked after us and our room very well indeed, he even left beautiful sand art ( lots of fish, rays and dolphins )on our doorstep. The food here is incredible from the buffet Ranba to the luxurious Ambula. At Ambula must mention our waiters Shamhan and especially AJ with his lovely sing song voice, explaining every food course and accompanying wine or Arrack flight. My husband enjoyed big game fishing and caught a Wahoo, which was cooked for lunch at Ralu restaurant. What a fabulous meal it was, best fish I’ve ever tasted and the sauces were top notch. Great chefs and waiting staff there ( also best breakfast option in our opinion) Ginifati fish restaurant was also extremely good. Again great staff. Our favourite spot in the day was the pool bar terrace on sun loungers facing the gorgeous, turquoise ocean and staying for sunsets Best coffee lattes there, real barista coffee from Shakshi. And champagne ( and water ) flowed. Chandike our poolside waiter was extremely kind and helpful, nothing was too much trouble and always came over to check we had everything we needed. Thank you. Finally Icy, our butler. Little lady, big heart. We felt lucky to have her service. My only suggestion would be it would be nice at Ranba to have an adult only zone to eat in. We did the wine tasting in the pool bar with a sommelier one afternoon and really enjoyed the experience, whilst learning new things. I was slightly surprised at how many buggies go speeding past, they dip their lights but do not slow down ( never seen so many buggies, that’s down to lazy people always wanting a buggy ) the island is small enough to walk around. To finish, our holiday was fabulous, staff were hard working and helpful. Hopefully we will return.

This was our 2nd visit to Aarah and was even better, if that is possible ! than 2 years ago. A truely wonderful, magical 2 weeks of relaxation. Everything was just perfect. You could say " Paradise on Earth". We are beach bunnies, so our beach villa, 153, was wonderful....

You could say " Paradise on Earth". We are beach bunnies, so our beach villa, 153, was wonderful. It was in a great location and very private. The food and service in all the restaurants was excellent. Out trips were spectacular, but our private dolphin cruise is a memory we will never forget. Saw a huge pod of about 30 dolphins 🐬 swimming and playing around the front of the boat. Amazing. Far too many outstanding staff to name all individually. However, there are a few we must mention. NIYAZ, our amazing room guy, with his awesome sand art. SHEHAN and his Bandhi bar team for their great spiced rum & diet cokes & margaritas.... CHEF JAYALAL, for our 3 very special meals WADE and all the Ranba team for your outstanding service at all times. ZINEB, our butler for arranging everything. I can thoroughly recommend Heritance Aarah and look forward to going back again. BOOK IT, you won't regret it.

It is impossible to know where to start in explaining what an incredible experience we had at Heritance Aarah. We came for 6 nights as part of a split trip for our Honeymoon and we will definitely be back! Room: We had the most beautiful room in a perfect location (Overwater Villa). The room had ample space for everything we needed and we loved the little glass window in the floor. There were multiple seating options in the room and outside and the terrace was huge! The mini bar is expansive and re-stocked everyday. I especially liked that small bottles of Spirits were included as I only really enjoy wine with dinner. The Daybed outside was so large for lounging on and we spent a few evenings outside on it just staring at the stars. The villas and terraces are arranged in such a way that they all feel very private and not overlooked at all. The rooms was always cleaned to a spotless standard and plenty of towels replaced for you as needed. Butler: I cannot say enough good things about our amazing Butler Jaube. We've never had a Butler before, and at first I wasn't sure what we'd really need but we were often messaging Jaube for a lift to different areas of the Island. Jaube was such a kind man, and always so quick to respond to any queries we had - I don't think we ever waited more than 8 minutes for a buggy! I don't know how he made everything seem so seamless in terms of luggage drop off / pick up / departure etc. A massive thank you to Jaube and we will definitely be requesting him when we return. Food & Dink: The food and drink was out of this world. For breakfast we went to the buffet which was extensive but I was always tempted by the array of lovely fresh fruit whilst my Hisband tended to opt for the Asian breakfast options. I loved the 'barefoot' style of the buffet and the seating on the beach. For lunch, we also mainly went to the buffet which was aboslubtly amazing, so many options to choose from and all of such a high quality - the fresh fish was amazing, as we're their soups of the day! For dinner, we ate twice at Ralu, twice and Ginafati, once at Ambula and once at the Buffet. Ambula is an experience not to be missed! It's definitely different, but we loved every single course and the story behind each. It is a beautifully crafted menu and well worth the time it takes, it's also a gorgeous setting. Ginafati offered 2 different set menus whilst we were there and both were so tasty. The Lobster Bisque Ravioli was a specific highlight. Ralu had a really extensive menu as well, and I liked that you could self serve some small appetiser bits from the small buffet area before your main meal. We opted for Steaks / Lamb at Ralue and were impressed with how perfectly they were cooked given we asked for Rare and Medium Rare. We didn't have one 'average' meal our entire holiday - everything was outstanding! There's also so much choice that even if you were here 2 weeks, if you mixed the buffet in, you wouldn't get bored of the food choices. The Wine, Spirits and Cocktail menus are so extensive you certainly will be spoilt for choice! All the cocktails are so freshly made with such precision and care, my favourite was a Mojito Mas which was filled with delicious fresh fruit. No overly sweet thick syrups here, just everything made with fresh ingredients which is so delicious. Pool: There was definitely no subed hogging here! And ample choice of seating and sunbeds round the pool and the perfect placement of the decking to hop in the pool or in the sea. Service round the pool was fantastic too, and we were never long without a drink! Activities & Excursions: I think it's brilliant that Heritance Aarah include 4 excursions (Sunrise Cruise, Sunset Cruise, Dolphin Cruise, Fishing) that you can participate in. We only did the Sunrise and Sunset Cruise as we simply ran out of time with everything else. The excursions are well worth doing and not overcrowded. Some beautiful photo opportunities on both cruises. We paid for the Manta Safari from the Diving Centre, absoloubtly so worth it and we were lucky to swim with around 12 of them for 45 minutes. My Husband went diving twice and said the Dive Centre staff were great, really personable and he had a great experience. We are avid snorkellers and the best way to reach the reef quickly is to walk along the Jetty out to the Dive Centre and climb down the steps into the harbour. There's so much to see, you won't be disappointed! If you decide to swim back to the beach from the reef just be cautious as it does get very shallow as you swim over the coral. And a final tip, don't skip the incredible art shop run by Shamin_hsznrm. He is the most wonderful person and so incredibly talented. He was so patient with me in the run upto our trip answering all my questions, and then when we arrived he took his time in helping guide us create our masterpieces! We thoroughly enjoyed our time making such a memorable and sentimental masterpiece. Overall, we will definitely return to Heritance. It was our first experience in the Maldives and I'm not sure anywhere else will be able to beat it!

We really loved the Heritance - from our beach villa to the restaurants (Ambula was our favourite for dinner and Ralu for lunch) to the beach, water, attention to details, people smiling and being kind. We have just returned from a fabulous 2 week holiday in the beautiful Maldives. We stayed at Heritance Aarah. Let’s start off with how fantastic our butler was. Kunal was so attentive, professional, respectful and couldn’t do enough for us. He really is an asset to the resort. The difference he made to our holiday would be a reason to return to the island. Nothing was too much trouble. Everything at Heritance summed up a 5* all inclusive in the Maldives- white sands, azure blue crystal clear seas, amazing beaches and fabulous food. Angel and Geoff (bar singers) brought the evenings to life in the Bhandi pool bar- we throughly enjoyed dancing and singing the night away with them! Sepna (Bhaani)restaurant made the experience fun, bespoke and special for us- she joined in with the jokes and laughter. Adam and Jasmine were attentive at Ralu and Shareef, Manjula and Leonardo made dining at Ranba restaurant a personal and welcoming experience. Daily supplies of Mangosteens for my breakfast was very much appreciated. The Sky Bar is the hidden gem of the island- a perfect place for a sundowner evening evening to watch the beautiful sunset. Repson makes fantastic cocktails- a huge variety to choose from! Choose Heritance Aarah for a wonderful Maldives holiday and make sure you ask for Kunal as your butler- you won’t go wrong!!

There are many chefs that can wow you with their creativity and ingredients but only a few chefs can trigger happy memories of childhood. Deep and Manoj are chefs part of an amazing team at Ranba restaurant. They are not just chefs, they are artistic. We have just had the most amazing stay at this beautiful resort. The island is stunning and the staff are without exception charming, helpful and polite. We were in a beach villa with our own private terrace and sunbeds and two sunbeds on the beach immediately in front of our villa. The all inclusive package includes champagne throughout the resort and the minibar in the room included spirits, wine, chocolate and nuts in addition to the usual beer, juices and soft drinks. We had our own allocated butler - Preetham - who was exceptional and nothing was too much trouble for him. He booked our restaurants and excursions and happily made changes to accommodate us. Other particular staff of note were Neelantha in Ambula restaurant who made sure my birthday meal was one to remember, Adam in Rula who always gave service with a smile and Suhil who looked after our room. I cannot recommend this resort highly enough. My only disappointment was we didn't see any dolphins on our dolphin watching trip!!

After coming to the Male Airport everything was perfectly organized and we came in the luxury heritance lounge. The flight with the water plane was exciting and we saw from above: we are in paradise! From the start till the end our time in heritance was full of feeling extremly as being with friends, everybody is so friendly and they do their very best to male the holiday as nice as possible. The restaurants are very fine. We want to thank especially Kunal for carrying us on his hands as the best butler! Ralu was our favorite restaurant, thanks to the manager there and our „Mrs. Riesling and Mr. Creme brulet“ man ;-)) Even thanks to Todie and the crew from the diving center for many unforgettable dives! Our favourite restaurant was Ralu - we visited every day for lunch and had dinner one evening there too. They are so attentive there. Special mention for Deepak, Adam, Elina and Dimeth. Made us feel so welcome. A visit to Ambula is a must for a sensational tasting menu and matching wines. The Sky Bar above Ambula is worth a visit to watch the stars and drink a cocktail or two. We had four trips organised over the week which were enjoyable. The evening fishing trip was fun. Our sunset beach villa was cleaned twice a day and the turndown service was a nice touch. We snorkelled over the reefs and the sea life was incredible. The enormous turtle digging the seabed was mesmerising. Thank you Heritance Aarah for making a lot of happy memories for us. We loved our stay.

Bar staff and waiting staff are so helpful and friendly also. Deepak at Ralu has been superb, along with our butler Alessandra. Always there to help. We had a 10/10 meal at Ambula, an amazing tasting experience with matching wines. We learned lots about Sri Lanken and Maldivian cuisines from our cookery class with the executive chef - a great experience for anyone interested in the culinary arts.
