It was a great stay!

Amazing service, drinks and vibes were everything and more! Ramsey made us the best drinks and made us feel so comfortable, highly recommend a visit here! The ambience and beach views were absolutely stunning! Thank you so much Ramsey, we’ll be back!

The staff is very friendly and the food and drinks are excellent. We have been eating and drinking here for the past 3 nights. We tried Pizza, fish, and a lot of very nice Tequila's and cocktails. Highly recommend.

After 3 nights of searching for good food and pleasant service we finally found it. The food was delicious, pizza cooked in a stone oven, tacos delicious and the best fries in Mexico. They make their own sauces, the mango sauce (which shouldn't, but does) goes with everything, including pizza....

The service was next to none, with the waiter and owner going out of their way to make our meal special. A must visit in Mahahaul, highly recommended.

This is not a hotel, it is apartments, rooms owned by individuals. Five times I’ve had to go to the reception to ask to change the bed sheets and to replenish shampoo in the bathroom Everything can be heard from the adjoining room as there is a door deviding my room to the next one with no sound proof and if the people next door are cooking food the smell comes into the room I’ve stayed in hotels all over Mexico and by far Aqua star is the worst one.

Arrived late at night to be shown a room backing onto the carpark which was dark and dingy and really not pleasant at all. I explained to the manager I really wasn't happy and he kindly upgraded me to a suite facing the sea. Completely different experience. Very nice view...

Very nice view and spacious and was more than adequate for a couple of days. Kind reception staff as well and a nice pool area and location. Would recommend but get the right room or you will be disappointed. BE ADVISED. THERE IS NO LIFT. We had large heavy suitcases. This could be an issue for other less abled people.

The room was so nice and the view was breathtaking, I will definitely stay here again, if your looking for a romantic quiet place to get away this is the perfect place, and it’s not even expensive.

We went 2 couples, very attentive to detail. Jacuzzi in room with the beach view was so great. Free bottles of water in the rooms. Good coffee machine. The breakfast we had in the hotel restaurant was awesome. I will return.

Please clean it for your guests like the other hotels/restaurants. - Paint the bathrooms again...

Please clean it for your guests like the other hotels/restaurants. - Paint the bathrooms again (there are construction marks everywhere) (These two last things would already make it a 5 Star review.) -The wooden windows from the bathroom to the balcony/pool can’t be locked. Install a lock on these doors to make guests feel safe at night (especially when sleeping on first floor)
