Warwick Paradise Island

This hotel was clean, rooms were updated, food was good, nice big pool. The only downside was the small beach. There was a shuttle to Cabbage Beach which is a beautiful beach but you have to pay for lounge chairs and umbrellas. Shoutout to our amazing housekeeper Michelle Williams!

There is two bars but one closes and the other opens. We had an amazing time at the Warwick. The staff are attentive, helpful and super friendly. The rooms were cleaned impeccably and the food was delectable at the restaurants and the buffet. Alexis was super helpful at check-in, booking reservations for dinner and remembered our last name and room number 3 days later!!! Impressive!! The housekeeping staff noticed that we drank more water than anything else in our stocked refrigerator, so she left extra waters for us each day. We highly recommend the Warwick and can’t wait to come back!

The staff at this hotel are awesome (special thanks go out to Ian, Michael, Candace, Jamal, and Leo). Everyone went out of their way to make us feel at home. The resort is on the smaller size, but it was easy to navigate. The food was also very good!

This is my 3rd time to Nassau. My first time I stayed at the RIU, second time I stayed in an Air BNB and this time i decided the Warwick. My next vacation I will be coming back to the Warwick! I love the small resort feel and the food is phenomenal. Much better than at the RIU. Everything is in walking distance and the fenced in beach provides for a chill beach day without the vendors rush. Cabbage beach, atlantas, downtown is just a short walk away. The pool side service is awesome and the servers are very diligent to refill your cup as soon as it empties. We always had a spot by the Pool and had a hard time leaving. The restaurants; edge watergrill, verandah and abiocco had the most delicious food and awesome selection. Special shoutout to the Warwick employees; Tomeko Jay Neeko Micheal Brendan Kandice and everyone else who made us feel so welcomed at all hours!! Loved getting to know everyone at this place. Cant wait to come back.

Just finished 14 nights in the Bahamas including 6 at the Warwick, which was the final leg of our holiday. We had flown in from Eleuthera and had fallen in love with that scene - tranquility, relaxation and awesome beaches. Nassau is a bit different, especially Paradise Island - we thought we had just been to one!. I think a visit here suits a lot of people and cruise liners fill the harbour. We chose the Warwick which is adults only and All Inclusive because I knew the prices of eating out for breakfast, lunch and dinner are extremely expensive in Nassau. We had plenty to eat and drink at the Warwick - food in the buffet (the Verandah) was very good, food in the specialist restaurants - Edgewater Grill (meat and fish) and Abbiocco (Italian) pretty good but Tings on a Stick (Asian), very average although my partner is Chinese. Have to say the Asian options in the buffet were very good (she said). The bars (you can have drinks in the restaurants as well) - one outdoor and one indoor, both good, but in the evening it is only the indoor bar that is available and it isn't very big - not too bad in February but in high season, good luck! As for the rooms (we had a Harbour Deluxe Balcony, 3rd floor, think higher would have been better), spacious, but on the tired side, especially the toweling and bed linen. Room service - there were separate people cleaning from those that replenished the fridge and who provided replacement towels - there weren't any on our arrival at 5pm. The hotel is very American in the way that it works (you pay at the front desk in US dollars, everywhere else we went to on the island charged our cards in Bahamian dollars - same rate) and the staff are very much into tipping. In the main the staff were friendly and courteous, we felt comfortable there. The pools are good (the lap pool is heated) and if you like pumping music and games organised, you won't be disappointed. The hotel is a short walk to Atlantis, although the hotel does provide a shuttle service and the same applies the Cabbage Beach, however we walked, exercise is good. Similarly it is not far to the water taxi service (under the Sidney Poitier bridge) to New Providence island. We only used taxis to and from the airport and there is no bus service (Jitneys) on Paradise Island, but there is over the bridge, which is also an interesting viewing point. In summary we wouldn't return and this applies to Nassau, not just the Warwick, but that was mainly because we loved the vibe of Eleuthera and we were told that is similar on the other Family islands. Two English couples we met (we are English also) also concurred with that position. However, if noise and drinking is your thing, enjoy.

My wife and I stayed here the last week of February, celebrating our anniversary, and so glad we did. The resort grounds were well manicured, the pool area was fantastic, the food was amazing (including the buffet) and the staff were great! The woman that hands out the towels by the pool was very friendly and always had a smile on her face (sorry, I cannot remember her name). Marvin and Meghan at the front desk were always helpful. Even the housekeeper that cleaned our room daily was great (room 807)! The fact that it was all inclusive (including alcoholic drinks) and adults only made it even better. We had a couple of minor issues when we got to our room (bathroom door wouldn't close all the way and we didn't have any towels yet, as we were able to check in a bit early) but they were quickly remedied by the staff. There was always something going on around there, so you can do as much or as little as you want. Be sure to get involved with anything that Bullet (one of the entertainers) is involved in. He's a riot and does a fantastic Michael Jackson impression! We played ping-pong, shot pool, played pinball, met some fellow tourists as we sat in the hot tub or over by the firepit, and participated in many of the activities, many of which were led by Bullet. Highly recommend this resort!

Smaller resort, very personable staff, and they went out of their way to tend to my wife’s food sensitivities. Montez, Shama, Sharette,Garvin, Olecia, Chef Cidney and Chef Milly all went to the next level with excellent service and their warm smiles to help make a great vacation. When we return to the Bahamas we will definitely stay at the Warwick again.

Meaghan at the front desk was very kind and accommodating. She gave us many tips for visiting the island and more. -Staff was very friendly and helpful -Kudos to our housekeeper Michelle Williams for leaving a sweet handwritten welcome note. She kept our room spotless and paid close attention to detail. -5 restaurants: Steak & Seafood - Not Good Japanese Restaurant- Terrible Italian Restaurant- Not Good Outdoor Grill- Great for something quick Buffett- EXCELLENT! I’m a person that can eat anything but I can’t eat food where there’s ZERO flavor. That’s what 3 of the 5 restaurants had in common. Absolutely TERRIBLE. -Gym, Tennis court, ping pong table, giant connect 4, chess and checkers and a pool table on the property were a plus. -The one man band was amazing -Daily activities are fun - Nice Club with a DJ nightly. Unfortunately it’s not highlighted or pumped up during the day or during events occurring prior to switching over, which causes the crowd to leave before the DJ starts playing. -Kendrick at the Buffett was like the energizer bunny. He was always attentive and makes sure that you receive what you need, with the biggest smile ever. -Vantajha, the lifeguard was so engaging and brought us up to date on all the good food onsite and offsite. Try the Konch! Yum -Sheryl, the towel sweetie was the best! She was so engaging and never made us feel weird about asking for towels. -Bullet!!! The Best entertainer. So much fun and engaging. Especially with “Name that Tune”. -If you’re looking for something to do off property, try The Fish Fry. It’s Good food and outside entertainment. Also. The Bearded Clam. Ask for Nya. She’s the best bartender in the area. *VIP: We didn’t realize it was Spring Break and the resort was covered with a ton of 18-22 yr olds. They were cool and well behaved so it didn’t bother us. Just keep in mind that if that’s not the crowd for you, you might want to pick a different time to visit.

My husband and I have just returned from our honeymoon at the Warwick Paradise Island having had a wonderful trip. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating without seeming pushy or in your face. The word was husband used was "available", in the sense that the staff always make it known that they're there if you need anything without hovering like in, say, retail. When we first arrived our room wasn't ready yet (we arrived at approximately 12:30pm and check-in isn't until 4:00pm), but we were able to give our bags to the porter to be stored until the room was ready. We received our wristbands right away and were able to go for lunch. After lunch we decided to explore a bit and when we passed by the desk the Agent who had been helping us earlier flagged us down by name and let us know the room was ready! The room itself was nice enough, slightly dated, but overall well appointed and clean. We chose an "Island View" room, but still had a nice view of the bridge and the marina. There is always something going on at the Warwick. We were never bored during our stay. During the day, weather permitting, there are organized events on the deck next to the Hog Bar, while the evening entertainment tends to be in the Junkanoo Beat space next to the Rum Cay bar inside. Outside of these organized activities there are also amenities such as table tennis, fusball, a giant Connect-4 game, an indoor and outdoor chess set, as well as a little library right by the entrance. There is of course also the pool, lap pool, hot tub, and private lagoon for swimming. The drinks are quite good, with a particularly strong rum and coke from what we noticed. I highly recommend the Goombay Smash and the Bahama Mama for a tropical flair, while my husband was quite fond of the mojito. The food was excellent. There was a good variety of food available at the different restaurants throughout the day. The Verandah (buffet) is open for breakfast (6-10am), lunch (12-3pm), and dinner(6-10pm), with poolside Chickcharnie's filling in the gaps between. Chickcharnie's has a fixed menu and is more geared towards a quite bite (I recommend the conch fritters!), and the Verandah has a wide variety of rotating foods. Breakfast was the most similar neal from day to day, but still had a variety of pastries and types of fritatta. There are also three specialty restaurants that are included, but require reservations in advance and are open on different days throughout the week. Each are open 6-10pm, the same as the Verandah dinner hours. Reservations need to be booked with the Concierge at the Concierge desk between 9-5, and you're only able to book two at a time. Of the three, we didn't get the chance to try Abiocco, the Italian restuarant. Tings on a Stick serves Asian food, and was decent but not spectacular. The real star was the Edgewater Grill. The Edgewater Grill is located on the pier and has a lovely view of the water. The food was stunning. The salad bar had a good variety of salads, including lettuce based, pasta salads, and even a roasted corn salad that was quite delicious. My husband and I both got the sirloin with brandy peppercorn sauce and garlic mashed potatoes, all of which was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. He very much enjoyed his coconut lime cheesecake, and I thought the white chocolate guava bread pudding was simply to die for. We stayed for 5 nights, and overall I think it was the perfect length of stay. We had the opportunity to take everything in both at the resort and off property (tours can be booked at the desk next to the Concierge), and nothing had the chance to start to feel stale. Well worth the price, I would definitely go back!

The staff here are very friendly and helpful and I give them 5 stars. Ian in the buffet is especially attentive and quick to respond to any needs. The hotel itself is clean but a little tired. The pool is lovely and there’s lots of boat traffic to watch . The lifeguards at the pool seem more interested in chatting up the young girls or playing football or soccer with each other than watching the swimmers. The food at the buffet has been good but reservations at the restaurants are hard to come by. We found the music at the pool to be ear splitting but I guess some people enjoy losing their hearing at a young age.

Here for a month, quite impressed. People are warm and welcoming. Food is bountiful and delicious, great attention to detail and a credit to Chef Clay and his complete culinary team. Flavours abound and everything is very fresh and presented flawlessly. Special mention to Leslie and Ian, a couple of food service attendants who clearly demonstrate what outstanding customer service is all about. There are more folks who provide quality care and attention and I will highlight theirs names as time moves on and we spend more time here at The Warwick Hotel on Paradise Island.

We have had the best adventure here! The staff has been phenomenal....from the lifeguards making our time at the pool fun and safe, to our bartenders and entertainment! Thank you Tyler, Vantahja, Benji, Brie, Jay, Travis, and Antionette!!!!

Husband booked this for our babymoon and the first few hours were so bad we checked out the next day. There are so many things that should not have been complicated, but were extremely complicated at this hotel. We are not "high maintenance" and have stayed in several 3 and 4 star hotels worldwide. Unfortunately this hotel fell even below a different 4-star hotel we stayed at in Africa. First, the food in the buffet looked good but there wasn't much to eat being pregnant, the tongs for the food are shared between items and therefore leading to cross-contamination for many things pregnant women can't eat. There should be tongs used for each plate as opposed to sharing them to limit cross contamination. There weren't many seating/tables for the buffet outside and staff do not take the initiative or accountability to make the experience better for guests. An example was one staff member indicated to us that there were a pair of flip flops there for hours (clearly forgotten item on the chair), but wont remove them because they might be "reserving the table" and "we dont touch people's things in the Bahamas". When there are only 6 tables outside, you would expect some level of accountability and fairness to allow guests to sit to eat. Secondly, the booking for the dinners was complicated. We were told we'd have to come back to concierge to book 2 days in advance at a time to "give other people a chance". The booking process is complicated and manual and you receive a little slip to bring to dinner. It not only wastes our time by having to come book every 2 dinners in advance, but the means of waiting in a physical line and relying on this carbon paper copy is like we're living in the 90s. We are used to booking all our dinners the very first day and not worrying about it for the remainder of the trip. This system really can be improved to be an online system for your guests and no need to enforce the 2-day booking rule. The third and final factor that made us just leave was the pool atmosphere. We booked this adult-only hotel for a quaint experience, no children around and just to spend quality time together in a nice tropical environment. There were guests that were intoxicated, splashing around like children (getting other guests wet) and being arrogant and loud. The staff in the hotel do absolutely nothing to enforce any of the rules they have in place by the pool. And the pool beds would have trash piling up, again no accountability from staff to clean up and make the environment pleasant. We didn't last more than one hour and we made the decision that it would be our last day. Overall, the front desk staff are incredible and kind. The hotel doesn't seem horrible but its not a resort by any means. It is small and because of that, the small flaws are very exaggerated and stand out. The staff do need hospitality training and possibly taking pride in working at the Warwick, because only then will they step up above and beyond to make the atmosphere less trashy. We would stay here if it was just a location to rest our heads and if we had excursions planned daily so we weren't on the premises themselves. We checked into SLS which is 1 star higher but light and day difference in atmosphere, service and experience.

We celebrated our 25th Wedding anniversary at the Warwick. It was wonderful. Smaller resort and no kids running around was great. The food at the buffet and restaurants was very good, very large variety to choose from. The Thursday outside barbeque was especially nice. I have a new good friend named Bahama Mamma! The staff were all amazing, I wish I wrote down more names. Sharma greeted us as we arrived at check-in. She took care of us and gave us a bottle of champagne for our anniversary. We were early but allowed to used the facilities while we waited. Michelle P. our housekeeper was so nice and our room was spotless. I laugh when I read some of the reviews, the room was very nice and we had a wonderful water view. You don't go there to stay in your room all day. The music by the pool is loud if you have a chair right next to it. You can on the upper deck or on the other side and you can barely hear the music. Definitely 5 stars to my wife and I. Thanks to all the wonderful people at the Warwick.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Warwick this past week and had the most amazing time! The resort was nice and clean, everyone was so friendly, and the food and drinks were really good with several options. The entertainment every day and night was great and the staff was outstanding. DJ Kizzy, Peter, Travis, Tre, and Bullet had the best energy and made our week so fun with all the games and music! Brenden and Cardinal were friendly and attentive bartenders/servers and we appreciated them making us feel so welcome. Even though I only name a few, all the staff were so kind and friendly and made our stay even better. Overall, we had a great experience at the Warwick and in Nassau and definitely want to go back and will recommend others go as well.

My girlfriend and I just returned from a week long stay at Warwick and we were very pleased with our experience! The food options were great, with the Edgewater Grille being the best. I recommend the steak or the salmon. However, the resort is not anything without the amazing resort workers who run it. Every single worker, waiter, bartender, and entertainment worker treated us with nothing but kindness and respect. Brenden is an outdoor bar server who will walk the beach and pool deck all day long taking orders and bringing you drinks. He’s also a great person to get to know and play cornhole with! Bullet is a very tall entertainment worker who brings SO much energy with everything he does. You’ll find him running the late night events and also dance shows (amazing dancer/choreographer) and very funny. If you love music, DJ Kizzy, Travis, and Peter are typically running the outdoor music and they never disappointed! You can request songs and they’ll hype you up during the outdoor game events (such as cornhole tournaments, football tosses, beer pong, etc). Cardinal is a genuine guy you might meet at the indoor or outdoor bar working. My girlfriend and I had a great time getting to know him and how friendly he is! While I only named a few, everyone else had such a high impact on us that we hope to return to the resort soon and see the new friends we made!!
