We had a great stay at Excellence Oyster Bay! We went for a 40th Birthday trip with a group of 15 people and we all had a wonderful experience. The hotel itself was beautiful, spotless, and modern. All the staff at the resort was very kind and attentive. Martin made sure we had a blast at the pool every day and the entertainment was on point. He really made sure to interact and make memories with everyone. We all looked forward to seeing him daily. Our cabana waitresses, Deonique and Latifa, worked tirelessly to make sure all 15 of us had cocktails, water, food all day long. The Spa was fantastic and would highly recommend. The restaurants do not take reservations and with a group of 15 people we were worried but upon check in we met with Shane, the Food and Beverage Guest Relations Manager, and he was able to book us a private dinner each night and even a birthday surprise for dessert! He really went above and beyond to make sure it was a perfect evening for our group. His staff and the chefs were amazing too. We will definitely be returning to the resort someday soon hopefully!

Recently stayed for a week with my wife. We were very disappointed across the board, especially when compared to our previous stay in 2022. We upgraded to the “excellence club” once again, but service was very subpar. At several restaurants, the waiter/waitress seemed to only want to get our order and get out. Only 1 or 2 people working at an entire upgraded excellence pool area. The property is still in decent shape, and the peninsula is a solid location. Pools / beaches are nice, but lots of seaweed in the ocean nearby so not a ton of crystal clear water. Two nights in, my wife got food poisoning unfortunately. We told the front desk, but no one really cared. “Oh, we’ll make note of it and file a report.” When employees asked us about our stay, we mentioned that one of us had food poisoning. On THREE separate occasions, the employee said “oh no, I will do something special to make up for it” - then proceeded to do nothing all day, check in on us, etc… — which is even worse than doing nothing at all. When someone came a few days later to check in on my wife and file the report, they again said they would visit us at dinner to check in and do something special. Again, nothing. It exemplified the overall attitude of the employees - just there to check the box. I wish I would have read more reviews beforehand without blindly rebooking, as I have seen this feedback from others. As soon as we returned two weeks ago, we reached out to Excellence customer service (which is what the hotel told me to do), as we were supposed to hear back from the illness/insurance claim we filed. I am STILL waiting on any response from them. We are incredibly disappointed at paying $900-1000 a night to stay here. Your money is much better spent elsewhere, as this hotel is unfortunately a shade of its former self.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Excellence Oyster Bay (Jamaica). Everyone we encountered was extremely professional and attentive. All facilities were clean, food was plentiful and delicious . Service was impeccable . The entertainment team, particularly Martin, was so much fun and made it their duty to ensure we all enjoyed ourselves. He routinely checked in on everyone and even knew all of our names.! That’s just how personable and genuine he is. You don’t find that often, especially at such a busy/large establishment. We will definitely be returning!

The resort is beautiful. Our trip was exactly what we wanted, quiet, peaceful, relaxing and romantic. The room was perfect and amenities are great! Food and drinks were top shelf and very tasty. Loved the private transfers to/from the airport.

Where to even begin. This was our second visit to Excellence and we began our trip with high expectations, would they be met again? From arrival at the resort, we were immediately greeted and remembered by Bellman Stanley, an extremely polite and helpful gentleman. We had lunch at Lobster House while we waited for our room to be ready, the food here is always so fresh and delicious. Dinner that night was at Spice, also a favorite as we ate here twice, once for Hibachi with Jay, quite possibly the best hibachi chef I’ve ever had! Day 2, we spent a good bit of time on the beach, near the villas where it’s quiet, so peaceful here, but keep in mind, not as many servers visit this area, so you will need to walk back for drink/food. We spent the afternoon at the pool, where we met Ian who was always on top of cleaning the pool!! We also met 2 of the entertainment staff, who I want to give each their own special shout outs. Martin- kept the pool entertainment, music, games, conversations going all day long. Always greeted you, and made sure you had a good time. Never saw him without a smile! Warren- may have given us one of the most special things of the trip. We mentioned to him we missed the tie dye event. He quickly said no problem, meet me on the beach in 10 mins. He gave us a 1 on 1 session and made us 2 amazing shirts. We won’t forget this!! Last, the bar staff, always have the best vibes, and making great drinks! Thank you Moodie, Junior and Christopher!! Day 3: more beach and pool time, dinner at the grill where our steaks were perfection! Day 4: more of the same, which is nothing short of what you want. Relax! In summary; Excellence rarely fails. This resort has amazing staff, food, drinks, views, entertainment, activities if you want, and more! I can’t recommend this place enough!! Last shout out to the hard working dance crew, they worked everyday and put on amazing shows, great talent!!

In 10 days we only waited for a la carte restaurants once, but even then it was only about 20 minutes. Any specific requests we had were followed up on immediately and with a smile. Just back from our second trip to Excellence Oyster Bay. It was a relaxing and amazing week- everyone we met was super friendly, stopping to ask how things were going and if we needed anything. Starting with Tristana at the excellence reception who remembered us from last year- we felt welcomed and right at home. We stayed in Beach House 1. Housekeeping came daily and did an great job (left us a towel art swan one day) the mini bar was filled daily as well, I left a note with a tip to ask for extra water and they made sure we had plenty. We ate at Kitchen Table most days with Sevoy as our server- I drink soy milk in my coffee and after the first day she brought it to me without me even having to ask. We did hibachi at Spice one night and the food was delicious and the chef very entertaining. The martini bar before dinner each night was something we looked forward to- bartenders Jesse, Christopher and Zoya helped us find new drinks, kept us entertained and it was fun learning more about each of them. The bartender at zenith, Shanice made the best espresso martini and lemon drop martinis we’ve had! Food was excellent at each restaurant. They are very serious about food allergies and being pescatarian it was nice that there is plentiful seafood as well as plant based meals at every restaurant. If you are looking for a relaxed and easy going vacation, this is the place.

My husband and I went for a week to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary. Having traveled a fair bit, including at all inclusives, I had been told this place would be top tier by a few friends, but wasn’t impressed. First off, starting our first morning, jack hammering and other construction started over our room at 8 am so intensely our electricity would flicker. We called the front desk and was told we’d get a call back. We didn’t. We went to visit the front desk. Was told they’d look into it and call us. They didn’t. The construction went on all day - every day - and we didn’t get a response until day 3, when they did thankfully move us to another room. The food was fine at best, with some of it being downright bad, especially room service. The staff had just returned from their walk out over salary and were still very unhappy, with at least one telling us he would burn the place down if the owners didn’t deliver on their bare minimum promises to pay a living wage (which I’m here for). The beach is beautiful, especially the secluded one with the private pool, though don’t recommend walking too far down because there is refuse and broken glass. The spa was quite nice.

Not crowded and easy to get chairs etc. Most of the staff is friendly. The Bad : Excellence club is a waste of extra money as there are zero benefits, and they never check if you have it. They run out of the better alcohol every day we were there. The food is average at best most of which was just not good . Over-salted or just bland everywhere. Not all of the restaurants are open every night and they don't take reservations so you have long waits. Room service was over an hour each time. Bottom line ....For $1000 a day they need to do better. Food and drink and the excellence club all need a major upgrade. We would most likely go back to secrets if we return to Jamaica.

We had the most incredible stay at Excellence Oyster Bay, and I can’t recommend it enough! Not only was it a dream vacation, but it was also the perfect place to get married. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. The resort is absolutely stunning—beautiful beaches, lush gardens, and top-notch facilities that make it the ideal all-inclusive getaway. A huge shout-out to the amazing staff who made our stay truly unforgettable! Bartenders Aaron and Rivario were always friendly, attentive, and made the most delicious cocktails. Every restaurant had outstanding food. Be sure to grab patties from the Cielo bar! Chef Dwayne at Spice put on a great hibachi show, full of laughs and delicious food. Butler Omar went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, always available but never intrusive. The entertainment team was phenomenal! Warren, CJ, and Shell kept us entertained with fun activities throughout the day. They made sure we were having a blast while also creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere that made us feel like part of the family. All of the dancers brought so much energy and enthusiasm to everything they did. Now, about our wedding—simply flawless. From start to finish, it was everything we dreamed of and more. A massive thank you to photographer Cole, who captured every moment so beautifully and made us feel at ease throughout the process. The photos are breathtaking, and we’ll cherish them forever. And a special shout-out to wedding coordinator Rochelle, who took care of every detail and ensured we felt at ease. She made the whole process seamless and stress-free, which was such a relief on such an important day. Last but not least, hit up the spa! Definitely get a massage or at least do the hydrotherapy. You won’t be disappointed! Alexia in the spa completed the most incredible hair and makeup for my wedding day. I could not have felt more beautiful! If you're looking for a relaxing, fun-filled vacation, or even the perfect destination wedding, Excellence Oyster Bay is the place to be. The combination of luxurious amenities, exceptional service, and an unbeatable team of staff made this an experience we’ll never forget. I recently had the misfortune of staying at Excellence Oyster Bay in Jamaica, where I paid extra for the supposedly elite Excellence Club experience. What I got was anything but excellent. The service at the beaches was nonexistent, and the restaurants were a disaster—half of them were always closed, and the ones that were open offered subpar service. It turns out that the lack of customer service was due to ongoing labor issues, with staff reportedly on strike, which explains the complete disregard for guests' needs. This is not just a rumor; it's evident in the numerous reviews that mention similar experiences. To add insult to injury, the "oceanfront" rooms are misleadingly marketed. In reality, most of these rooms are merely pool-front, offering a view of the pool rather than the ocean. This was a significant disappointment, especially considering the premium price we paid for what was supposed to be a luxurious oceanfront experience. My stay was a total waste of money. The Excellence Club, which promised superior service, was a scam. The private drivers for our tours were consistently late, over an hour. Who is on vacation, the staff members or us? To make matters worse, I followed this disastrous stay with a visit to an adults-only resort in Tulum, Mexico, where I paid a fraction of the cost (about 1/10th) and received truly exceptional customer service. It was a stark contrast that highlighted just how poorly Excellence Oyster Bay performed. If you're considering Excellence Oyster Bay, especially the Excellence Club, save your money and look elsewhere. You won't find a better experience at any other Excellence resort; they seem to have lost sight of what truly matters—customer satisfaction. Look how they handle their poor reviews.

The moment you need help making an audible for any reason, you're $#!@ out of luck. Full details: My wife and I came to Excellence Oyster Bay for our honeymoon in early 2020. The food, the service, the location, the ocean front beach house... Everything was impeccable. We go to the beach every couple of years when my wife can no longer resist the calling. We went to their Negril location in 2023 and the beach was amazing, but they had fewer restaurants to choose from and the staff wasn't as nice. So when our anniversary rolled around this year, we decided to go back to Oyster Bay to make sure we had the best possible experience. All in all, it was basically everything we remembered. We stayed in the Excellence Club Ocean Front Beach House again. We stayed the same 8 days as we did on our honeymoon. While most of it was just as good as the first time (the food wasn't *quite* as good this trip), things felt drastically worse when their policies and customer service phone staff made things significantly more stressful for us on a trip that was intended to be the exact opposite. We booked through a travel agent who works through American Airlines Vacations. Less than 24 hours before our departing flight, American Airlines cancelled our flight without explanation. With no alternative flights offered to get us to Dallas, we were left flying through Chicago.. a day late. We call our travel agent and explain what's happened. She contacts the front desk who tells her she has to contact Excellence's customer service phone number on their web site. After finally getting through to an agent, they assure us that the reservation can be altered by pushing out the departure date by a day, but that this can only be done by the check in desk once the guests arrive and check in on location. Great! We paid for 8 days and would prefer to stay 8 days, so this is awesome. We rush to ensure there's room on a return flight for Wednesday now instead of Tuesday. There's plenty of seats. Our travel agent cautions us about changing the flight until we have confirmed the extension with the resort in person, so we take her advice. Fast forward to check in. We're told that NOBODY in the ENTIRE resort can make that change and that we have to call the customer service number. So the vicious circle begins. We were told nothing could be done and they would refund the one day that we missed, despite multiple rooms being available for the Wednesday we wanted to substitute. Our travel agent called the number on the site. AA Vacations called the number on the site. Our travel agent sent emails when the phone number yielded no results. AA Vacations did the same. 48 hours later, we were no closer to having any resolution. Excellence was making it as difficult as possible for us to spend our money with them. The fact that we'd spent over $20k with them seemed to be meaningless as they seemed intent on refunding us money instead of keeping it by letting us stay in the room that would be vacant otherwise. In a moment of sheer desperation, I asked to speak to a sales manager or whoever runs the weddings at the resort and was given Rochelle's name. Rochelle was awesome. She understood, empathized, and made it her job to find SOMEBODY who could initiate a path forward. She worked through her concierge manager to try and find a resolution. Unfortunately, this was late Friday afternoon and their reservations desk they needed to work with closed at 5pm that day and doesn't work weekends. *Of course* they don't... Sigh. Meanwhile, my wife and I aren't sure if we're going to be able to stay or not. Will we even be able to get seats on the departing flight to Dallas that day at this point? This weighed on us from the moment we arrived and were told that they lied to us about the resort being able to fix it when we checked in. Less than 24 hours before our scheduled departure, we hear back from Rochelle (BLESS THIS WOMAN FOR ALL HER HELP!!!). They were able to confirm the 8th day that we'd already paid for was good to go. Our travel agent makes a mad dash to the American Airlines site to secure a return flight change and we end up having to pay extra for premium seats, as that was all that was still open on the flight. 6:06pm - our travel agent receives an email letting her know that Excellence was *going to make an exception for us this time* and let us stay the extra night. How $#@!'ing nice of them to be so gracious after lying to us multiple times and making this the most stressful experience we've ever had trying to spend money. We'd never considered another brand other than Excellence up to this point. In the future, we'll specifically be looking at what their competitors offer as well.

Beautiful resort, the rounds are immaculate. The entertainment was good, the staff are wonderful and beyond helpful. There are many restaurants to choose from, the jerk chicken hut and Jamaican restaurant were ok as far as food goes not great but the staff made up for the good shortcomings. The Jamaican breakfast options at the Kit gem Table buffet were excellent. Compliments to the chef. There were plenty of beach beds available and the grounds were well kept. Not sure the excellence club was worth the extra cost

This is our second time and so glad we returned! The staff are top notch. When we arrived Danjay was super helpful settling us in. He was funny and personable and remembered our names when we saw him around. Keisha took good care of us at the beach during each of our days. She magically knew when we needed a refresh on drinks and snacks. Zodia provided a great hydrotherapy service at the spa. She walked us through the hot-cold water treatments that we super fun as a couple and then gave us each a head and neck massage which was with perfect pressure and enjoyment.

My husband and I have just returned from our honeymoon at Excellence Oyster Bay. We were there for 5 nights (Mon-Sun) and loved every second of our experience. I had been put off from all-inclusives after a terrible experience at the Grand Palladium Riviera Maya, and this resort completely won me over. Thank goodness our travel agent recommended this property, as we were totally consumed with online research for the perfect resort in Jamaica in our budget. We stayed in a Junior Suite with a private pool in the 6000 building, which had a direct view of the main pool and the ocean. The room was fantastic - very spacious, with a private toilet, a retractable wall between the living and bedroom area, a huge closet perfect for checked baggage (it even included a steamer), a private jacuzzi overlooking the pool area, super plush loungers, and floor to ceiling mirrors. The mini bar was consistently well stocked, including three full-sized bottles of spirits of our choice. We could hear the music playing around the resort whenever we had our back sliding door open, which we very much enjoyed. For those looking for a bit more quiet, I recommend noting this to staff upon booking so you can be placed further from the main pool area or in the Excellence Club. Service was 10/10. Upon our arrival, we had instinctively reached out to grab our luggage to bring inside and were met with a 'No no, hands off!' by Jeremy at the front, and we were immediately given a cool towel and glass of bubbles. We were, at any point, a quick phone call away from room service, which was 24 hours and very attentive, the concierge, restaurants and the spa. There was ALWAYS someone telling us good morning/ good evening. The main pool area is buzzing with staff members, and we never went more than maybe a half hour without someone asking us if we needed any food / refills on our drinks. All areas of the grounds are constantly being kept up, from a beach attendant ensuring the sand is free of debris and litter to landscapers and cleaners always making sure everything is pristine. The ash trays are even thoughtfully designed with little sand patterns! The FOOD, which was a major factor in our choice, completely blew away my (albeit low) expectations. We were lucky to be there when they were hosting 'Jamaican Night,' which involved a cultural show with a massive buffet of Caribbean food - curried goat, rice + peas, oxtail, and tons of other dishes I can't recall - that was outstanding. During our time there, we ate at Spice, Jerk Hut, Aroma, Kitchen Table, Chez Isabelle, Lobster House, and Zenith. All of them were great, but our favorites were Spice and Jerk Hut. Trust me, get the hibachi reservation at Spice; and TRUST ME, Jerk Hut has some of the best jerk chicken we've ever had. We ate there for lunch by the pool three days out of our six days there, and it was better than the jerk chicken we'd tried off resort. Imagine a huge plate of extremely tender jerk chicken, price + peas, and stewed veggies right by the pool overlooking the ocean.... just complete paradise. Honorable mentions to Zenith, as it was also very good; I have a rule about never ordering a steak at restaurants because it's never as good as homemade, but their ribeye was perfectly made, and the crepe was amazing. The room service was actually not bad for room service, which is typically very subpar at most places, even the luxury properties. The caesar salad was yummy, as well as the hummus and steak fajita. Aroma was also delish, and they made a solid Americano; pastries were awesome, especially that Oreo cheesecake!! The entertainment was solid, and everything we saw was good, albeit a little corny (looking at you, Grease night). We loved the violinist and all of the live band performances - Gold Medal to the cultural performances on Jamaican Night! The main pool always has something fun going on - the kayak races were funny and the 'Yeah Mon' competition was SO fun to watch. We absolutely recommend doing the included snorkeling and paddle boarding available - we did the paddle boards and snorkeled on Day One, and we had so much fun snorkeling that we did it again on Day Two. The shores there are beautiful and packed with marine life - we saw plenty of fish, living sand dollars, sea snails, crabs, and even a sea anemone. The water was CRYSTAL CLEAR and the perfect warm temperature for swimming. For other excursions/ experiences, we HIGHLY recommend the bioluminescent swimming with the sunset cruise - pay that extra $30 for the sunset cruise as opposed to just the nighttime cruise! The views were insane - some of the most breathtaking sunsets I have ever seen. We also did the Island Ultra, with horseback riding, ATV's, and Dunn's River ziplining and climbing. We enjoyed this, but we would have been happy with just a half day excursion instead of the full day, as it took a genuine 12 hours (6am - 6pm). I do personally believe the drinks may have been slightly watered down, but my husband and I agree that it's probably best for us all who are drinking constantly throughout the day. We stuck with mainly Red Stripe and Prosecco, but we loved their mojitos! They were able to do a blended mojito, which ended up being one of my favorite drinks there. The spa is a must. Definitely do a massage or facial - which are very reasonably priced, from my experience - and try their hydrotherapy cycle before your treatment. We did a couples' massage (hydrotherapy is included with a treatment), and I had a basic pedicure. The facilities are pristine and we were very happy with our experience there. Splurge for the room with a private pool - it's totally worth it. We didn't spring for Excellence Club this time, and based on our needs, we didn't really need it. Perhaps for a couple looking for another degree of service, like a butler, would appreciate it, but we enjoyed being among the fun by the main pool, and we didn't find that it took away from our experience or the level of service at all. Quick Tips - bring your own essentials!! Do not rely on the gift shop for anything if you can help it. For us, these included extra contact solution (8oz for $20 in the gift shop), a sun/ UV resistant shirt ($60 for a UV resistant rash guard type shirt in the shop), close-toed water shoes if you're going on any type of excursion, and extra sunscreen & after-sun lotion - you will need extra if you burn at all, I promise. I cannot express how much we enjoyed this vacation; this is absolutely not our last time in Jamaica or with an Excellence property!!!

This is going to be a pretty extensive review but if you want the TLDR: Just go. The place and staff as a whole are amazing and the vibe/setting of the resort is just top notch. My wife and I went celebrating our 4th anniversary and stayed in Beach House 402 for 7 nights this May. ARRIVAL: Our flights coming in went smoothly and we did club MoBay. Our flight landed around 1pm local time and we tried to find our name on the club MoBay reps signs but didn't see it. First lesson learned, make sure you book club MoBay through them directly and not third party because our flight number had changed and they didn't update our reservation with them. Club MoBay still honored our reservation it was just a slight hassle (nothing to do with the resort just a piece of advice). Our seasons transfer was perfectly on time after about 10 minutes or so waiting in club MoBay and escorted us to the resort. We were probably at the resort an hour and 15 minutes total after landing which was perfect. Once we arrived, we were greeted by some awesome bellmen who gave us a welcome champaign, cold towel, and were so welcoming that it really got us in the Jamaican vibe from the start. They then golf carted us down to the excellence club for check in. Our room wasn't quite ready, so we headed to the club bar for a few drinks while we waited. It wasn't ready until about 3:45pm when check in was 3:00pm but it wasn't a big deal. Once we got the email letting us know they took us right over and we were off! ROOM: We stayed in Beach House 402, which was the first-floor room in the Beach House category. I 100% recommend this room to anyone as the view was as good as it gets. The views around this resort are spectacular but our room had one of the best in the whole resort and it was amazing enjoying the sunsets there. Housekeeping/Minibar came every morning very consistently between 9:30am and Noon which was perfect for us, and they did turn down service each night while we were out at dinner which was also a very nice touch. One minor critique would be the pillows were pretty flat and there was a big orangish stain on the marble floor by the door (it was permanent so nothing Housekeeping could do so no fault there) but none of that took anything away from how amazing the room was as a whole. FOOD/RESTAURANTS: The food here is amazing as a whole for an all-inclusive as we didn't have a bad meal for breakfast, lunch, or dinner the entire time we were here. We've been to other AI's and other Excellence resorts and the food at Excellence's is always up there with the best of them. This resort kept that high standard. Our favorite restaurant experiences were as follows: -Breakfast: Make sure if you are Excellence Club you go to Magna and Zenith as this is the best quality food. Sometimes it does take a little longer than any of the other meals we had but we weren't in a huge hurry in the morning anyways. The breakfast buffet was the lowest quality food we had the whole week (similar to room service) but we still found stuff we liked. It just wasn't up to the rest of the food's quality at the resort which is to be expected at a buffet. The hostest staff rom Magna and Zenith were amazing and the standouts for us out of the breakfast staff. -Lunch: We pretty much just did the Jerk Shack for lunch and it was really good for what it was. You have the option to get rice, veggies, jerk chicken, hamburgers and hotdogs fresh off the grill/smoker. The Jerk Chicken is amazing! There are some restaurants open but this quick option was amazing for us as it's right by the pool and was very quick so we didn't waste any of our time in the sun. -Dinner: All the restaurants were very good and we never once had to wait for a table for more than a couple of minutes and the service as a whole was really good. We had a few really great experiences that we want to give special shout outs to: Zenith with TEVIN (our waiter) was amazing. We got a table on the deck and were blown away with the view. The food, the view, and the overall experience was fantastic and Tevin just put the whole experience together with his amazing personality just being himself. Carribean Grove was one that surprised us being as awesome as it was as we weren't very familiar with Jamaican food coming into the trip. Turns out, it's amazing. Our waitress, SANIEKA, was incredible as well. When I asked if I should do the oxtail or the curried goat she just smiled and said "Both" which she was dead on as they were both amazing. She was another amazing staff member who went above and beyond for us. Magna and The Grill were our other 2 favorite restaurants, but the others were really good as well and we didn't have a bad meal. Room service is actually better than what you'd think but obviously still just room service and it's best used as a late-night snack option after the entertainment. The food and food service here is really good as a whole. BARS/DRINKS: The drinks and bartenders here are plentiful and as a whole pretty good. I do think there is some room for improvement in this department though more than other areas. There were multiple times where bars would run out of things on the menu and not really have an answer as to why or if there was an alternative option being offered. Just weird to be missing key menu options consistently throughout the week. Also, sometimes the bars were slow with bartenders who weren't very eager to be there or just understaffed so service could be slow at times. For example, there should be more than 1 bartender in the main pool bar during peak times so one person doesn't get stuck making multi-step frozen drinks for 20+ people. That being said, there were some super stand out bartenders we want to give a shout out to because they totally outshined any criticism we had: JUNIOR at Cielo Bar by the beach is fantastic. He consistently had some of the best drinks and personality we met at the resort. We looked forward to getting his drinks and chatting with him every time he was there. KEMOY at the Sports Bar is a hidden gem who probably doesn't get enough recognition that he deserves. The first night we went to watch playoff basketball after the show and my wife was drinking espresso martinis. She asked if they had any at the Sports Bar and he said no but immediately went out to the other bar and brought some back just to make us happy. That is the above and beyond you come to really appreciate and we witnessed him doing this for others as well before ever receiving a tip. He also just had a fantastic attitude as a whole and created a really fun vibe for nights in the Sports Bar. At the Magna club bar, we had two favorites: MICHAEL during the day is a really fun guy who brings the fun vibe with his rhyming abilities and enthusiastic personality. RODNEY at night we didn't get a chance to meet until our very last meal when we went to the bar before Magna but he was a special guy as well who can whip up a mean martini. ENTERTAINMENT: The entertainment was definitely hit or miss but a lot of that was outside of the resort and entertainment staff's control. For one, the theatre was under renovation during our stay so that forced everything to be done on the outdoor terrace which they did the best with what they had to make the shows still work. During the day, there was a variety of activities that they had at the pool that were hit or miss. A lot of that is due to the crowd you have at the pool at the time of the activity and that isn't really in the staff's control. Some days pool was hopping and the vibe was good as were the activities, while others it was pretty dead. The team definitely tried to get everyone involved as much as possible but sometimes you just don't have the people to do it. One day we played 2 v 2 volleyball and one afternoon it was 12 v 12 and a blast. Just the way it goes. We actually really enjoyed the musical performances by the pool that were hosted at magna pool and once at the main pool. The musicians were really talented and played popular hits that was really nice to enjoy poolside. Our favorite daytime entertainers were DERRICK (RICK), TOMAYO & MARTIN. They were really cool people in general and did their best to keep the vibes high and bring some fun/life to the pools. WARREN, the head entertainment guy, is a special dude. He's incredibly talented, funny, and just great overall at his job. The entertainment team would really suffer without him as he is just one of those people who have a gift for that kind of thing. You'll see when you get there what we mean about this guy. Just a true 1 of 1. The best part of the entertainment the whole week was Jamaica Night and the Bob Marley show which was on the Palapas section of the resort on the beach. The Bob Marley singer they had was so authentic and incredible. That whole night was special even though Warren made me dance in front of everyone. That show was the best show I've seen at any Excellence resort we have been to and that is saying something. Do not miss that if he is the singer for the evening you are there! RANDOM COMMENTS: -Please stop making your staff ask for reviews by having them go around asking guests to scan QR codes on their phones. The staff who shine and get the reviews will get them (like we provided above) by just being their amazing selves. It just feels awkward and inauthentic when they ask and I know they probably don't love doing it either. A solution could be providing a form with check in or a link in the app that lists the employees and gives a little space where you can write about an experience you had with them or comment something they did that made your stay special. I love the people I mentioned in this review and just felt awkward that they felt the need to ask. -The gym is amazing if you are into fitness. We didn't do any specific classes but got a few workouts in and it is top notch for a resort. You can definitely keep your workout routine going here as much as you want. -The location/views of this resort are simply incredible. You are pretty much on top of the ocean the entire place and I don't know how it could get any better. CONCLUSION: Overall, we had an amazing time as we always do at Excellence Resorts and wouldn't hesitate to come back ourselves or recommend this place to friends/family. It wasn't 100% perfect which no place ever is, but if you come in with the right attitude and just embrace the vibe and amazing atmosphere/setting you are in this place is just SPECIAL. My favorite entertainment was the reggae show, I wish they had more of that. The dance group was also very very good! We loved our habachi night at Spice where we met other couples. And i was proposed to and they made it very special with a great great photographer and private dinner on the beach that made the night one I will never forget. The overall food was okay, it does the trick and fuels you. Lots of value overall in being able to stay at a very nice place, with everything all included and incredible beach and pools. I didnt use the fitness room but it was top notch stunning!!

Overall AMAZING experience. Our room: FANTASTIC (with the exception of the “sensor light” in the closet that wouldn’t stay on for more than 3 seconds at a time. We literally had to dance in the closet to keep the light on. It was pretty laughable and aggravating. The staff: as friendly as I’ve ever seen. No matter where we were, we were greeted with a friendly smile and greeting. Room attendants: ALWAYS made sure our room was perfectly clean and loaded with the exact booze we requested, and our snacks were refilled every day! The restaurants: Nothing short of incredible! With all the reviews and videos we watched leading up to our trip, I was very surprised how we didn’t hear more about how great the food was before the trip. The food at Zenith (breakfast and dinner) couldn’t have been better. Probably the best French toast (breakfast ) and fettuccine Alfredo (dinner) I’ve ever had! The Jerk Chicken pizza at Oregano was Fantastic as well. And although we were reluctant to try Spice… I’m sooo glad we did. The spring rolls, Pad Tai and sweet-n-sour chicken were all delicious (yes I ordered AND ATE every bite of each of them and not ashamed of it either 😉). The Caribbean Grove was excellent too. The Ox Tail (something I never thought I would ever order, let alone like) was awesome! And from what I was told by the entire staff on the resort, it was very authentic. I did try breakfast at the “Kitchen table” one time and was a little disappointed, so we used our “excellence” status and ate at Zenith and Magna every other breakfast (the staff and food were exactly what you would expect…..PERFECT!). The beach: Absolutely STUNNING! The only negative thing I can say is, there is not really a “swimable” area over by the beach houses. The water is very shallow, and as the tide reseeds, the water is barely calf deep. Not a huge deal for us as we would just sit In The water and drink 🤷. The bars: the staff and drinks at every bar were great! Rodney at Zenith, Kimone at the main bar and the entire staff at the Excellence Club bar (next to BH6) made our vacation very relaxing. They were always ready for us when we needed anything (food or beverages ) and always made the best drinks! Entertainment: FANTASTIC and lots of fun. The “Headphone” party was very unique and fun to watch (we’re not the dancing type). The Bob Marley show and the Michael Jackson show were both a must see. The dancers were all amazing as well. Very high energy and great at getting the crowd engaged. Overall, we had an amazing vacation. If you decide to stay in a beach house, I would highly recommend BH6. Amazing views, right next to the Excellence bar, very quiet, and halfway between Magna and the main pool. But be prepared for a lot of walking to get to the rest of the restaurants. Sorry for the review not flowing as well as others, we’re literally sitting in the airport waiting for our flight home, and still a little foggy from our experience. I do hope it helps if you decided to to stay at EOB. We DEFINITELY recommend it.

Best resort in Montego Bay… While the Excellence Resort promotes itself as a luxury destination, I believe it has the potential to truly fulfill that promise with some adjustments. Having stayed at another Excellence property last year, my expectations were set high, but this resort didn't entirely deliver the luxury experience I anticipated. **Pros:** The property itself is stunning, featuring beautiful pools, including an infinity rooftop lounge/pool area that offers gorgeous views of the water. A highlight of our stay was meeting "Tomato," our cycle tour guide, whose off-road tour of the property was both enjoyable and memorable. Additionally, our server Ashanti was so sweet and kind and manager Tannique went above and beyond to enhance our experience, surprising us with desserts and wine in our room. We truly thank you as this made our stay. The spa's hydrotherapy facilities were also enjoyable, and our guide Zodia was exceptional—warm and welcoming. “Prince” Hakeem - keep smiling! **Cons:** Unfortunately, the food was a significant drawback for this all-inclusive resort. The only satisfying meal we had was breakfast room service on our last day, which was fresh and enjoyable. I would recommend opting for room service over the buffet, as the buffet food seemed to have been sitting out for a while; the pancakes were hard, and many dishes lacked flavor for all the dining options on site. We stayed in a junior suite with a private pool, but even this accommodation felt less luxurious compared to our experience in the Excellence resort Dominican Republic. While spacious and semi-private, it didn’t quite meet the high standards we were accustomed to. Overall, the staff appeared somewhat unhappy or less friendly than one would hope for a vacation atmosphere, which is understandable given their working conditions. In summary, if you’re seeking a quick getaway with stunning views, a clean and well-maintained property that isn't overly crowded, this resort may be a good option for you.

This was our 10th visit to this location (over 20 to all the Excellence locations). As usual the staff was great. Sudique and her crew (Alex, Orville, Dontae, Omar, Zweli and Jason) provided great service during our visit. - The restaurants and bars continue to be great. While staffing is always changing, they continue to maintain a high level of service. - The changes in how entertainment is set up (and now added to the club areas during the day) is a positive thing. It provides different experiences for each visit. The additional daytime entertainment in the Magna pool area added a lot. - The concierge guys (Brandon and Steven) are constantly working hard to help guests in both club areas. We were in a villa this trip. While the villa is very nice, 3 full days of the trip we couldn't enjoy the room from 8:30AM to 5:30PM due to the loud construction on the villa decking next door. It wasn't that we couldn't be outside, we also couldn't be inside due to the level of noise. It definitely took away from some of the relaxing we wanted to do on the trip. As someone who spends over 250 nights a year in hotels for business, most hotels make adjustments to prevent guests from hearing the noise when doing construction. I'm surprised they didn't have a buffer zone around the area of construction, especially in the villa area. Hopefully management takes that into consideration, even if it's work being performed during the daytime hours.

This was our third time staying at Excellence Oyster Bay. We are Diamond Members of Excellence and are big fans of the Excellence Hotel Collection. This was our best experience yet in Oyster Bay! We stayed in a Beach House for 6 nights and enjoyed the ocean front views. The housekeeping staff was wonderful and it was great connecting with them. We especially appreciated the way the guest services manager, Raquel, reached out to us to see how our stay was going and to offer assistance with anything we needed. This was the first time anyone at this location had ever contacted us or stopped by our room to check in with us. It was a welcome touch that made us feel particularly valued as Diamond Members of the Excellence Collection. We enjoyed eating at all of the restaurants and had fun ordering coffee and ice cream on a daily basis from Aroma. We received top-notch service from the servers at each of the venues. We participated in the Fit and Fun daily water activity on three days. Martin made the experience a lot of fun for us. It was great to see that Brandon was still at Excellence leading the yoga classes. He is a great guide who instructs in a calm and encouraging manner and all participants were able to participate without fear of being judged. We believe Excellence Oyster Bay has gotten even better since the first time we stayed there. The grounds (especially the beach near Magna) looked cleaner than ever. We were very pleased to see a good amount of the same employees from our previous stay still working at Oyster Bay. The Excellence chain seems to be putting more attention and rewards into the membership program to value their repeat travelers. We are already looking at dates of when we can return to Oyster Bay and highly recommend it to others.

The food was really good for an all inclusive and the range and quality of drinks is spot on. Bring your own straws and we always bring a pack of cards. We recently returned from our first trip of the year where on this occasion we stayed at Excellence Oyster Bay in Jamaica for 14 nights. This was our sixth stay at the property and our 57th stay at an Excellence Collection Property. It was our tenth stay at a property on the wonderful tropical island of Jamaica which we love so much because it has true Caribbean vibe, culture, people and cuisine For some background information this was our 58th trip to the Caribbean and Mexico as it is an area of the World we love to travel to for so many reasons. On previous trips to Jamaica as well as staying at Excellence Oyster Bay we have stayed at other well-known brands such as Sandals, Couples and Secrets As I have said many times we never forget how lucky we are to travel the way we do and I think that as very experienced travellers we are a fairly good judge of what customers are looking for which is ever-changing and obviously varies dependent on your age and outlook Our flight across the Atlantic was excellent on one of TUI’s Dreamliners in Premium which we were able to upgrade to at a knock down price when checking in online. Our passage through the airport on arriving at Montego Bay was straight forward as normal with their mostly automated customs system using the C5 Form which you complete online before you travel. We quickly located our transfer company representative (Seasons Tours) and after a 10 minute pause we were on our way After a 40 – 45 minute drive we arrived at the main building and were greeted with the customary glass of bubbly and cold towel before being whisked away by golf cart to the Club Lounge at the Magna for check in after which we were escorted to Beach House 6 (Upper Floor) More about the Beach House later Our stay was from 9th – 23rd April where occupancy was in the region of 60% OK if I may I will break this review up into different sections and cover off each item in turn Beach House This was our first time staying in a Beach House (#604) and we loved it The Beach Houses are directly on the beach so you have wonderful views across the bay towards Falmouth. There are twelve Beach Houses in total each having four suites. Two on the lower floor with direct access down a set of stairs onto the beach and two on the upper floor Overall we preferred to be in an upper floor suite as even though the lower suites are elevated above the beach the upper floor suites have more privacy and even better views. They also have wonderful vaulted ceilings The suites as you enter have an X Box for the delivery of food should you not wish to be disturbed and where you can put any plates, etc after you have eaten. On the opposite side of the short entrance hallway you have a good sized bathroom area equipped with a standard WC, rain shower and double sink under which you have plenty of storage space In the main part of the suite you have a good sized walk in wardrobe / closet, large comfortable bed and lounge area. There is also a bathtub tucked away in a corner. On the balcony you have a day bed, two wooden chairs, small table and on a raised area your plunge pool which is of a reasonable size During the whole of our 14 night stay we had no issues with the servicing of our room during the day or evening or the AC. One smallish plumbing issue was quickly resolved Beach As you will see from the property map and reviewers photos, the property has a very long beach which comprises of three areas. On this stay there was a lot of weed being washed in each day. Although on previous stays we have had some weed being washed in we have never experienced in being at the levels we witnessed most days However, the weed was quickly raked up with the beach cleaners starting work at first light and either bagged up and taken away or buried in large holes on the beach The two best beach areas are the club beach areas which are located at the two ends of the property where the Magna and Zenith are located The non club beach runs from where Beach House 12 is located, all along to the water sports section close to the Zenith Excellence Club. The beach in front of the main pool due to its narrowness has no loungers on the beach itself but there are many on a raised area between the beach and the main pool and these seem to be very popular. Beware though as the four poster loungers facing the ocean do lack shade sometimes during the day and really need to be fitted with pull down side shades. At present guests are having to drape beach towels over the roof frame to get some respite from the sun’s rays and this in our opinion does not look good at all For those looking to swim in the ocean or even just have a paddle around there is quite a lot of seagrass on the ocean floor. The best areas more clear of the seagrass are towards the Zenith end of the property. Since our last trip they have cut a pathway though the seagrass to two clear areas (called natural pools on the resort map) where people can enjoy warm tropical waters. If you are going into the ocean I would certainly advise wearing water shoes as in many places there are jagged coral and sea urchins on the ocean floor. There are also jellyfish around so please be careful As with their new Coral Resort in Mexico, Club guests have access to two club areas and facilities. At Oyster Bay Club guests have access to different Club areas which are located at the Magna and Zenith ends of the property, both of which have their own pool, deck area, bar and restaurant. IMHO these club areas with the exception of the new Coral Resort outdo those at their other properties. The Magna and Zenith are open for Breakfast and Dinner on alternate days with a snack menu being available during the day Pools For details of the pool layout have a look at the review I posted last October Food & Beverage Overall we were very impressed by the Food and Beverage this trip as they had upped their standards yet again It was great to meet Javiar the Executive Chef and Lemoney, another very talented female chef again On this trip we really enjoyed having breakfast on the veranda at the Magna as it was only a short stroll from our Beach House and the food, view and service was always outstanding. We also enjoyed some breakfasts in the Kitchen Table where there was always a good selection of hot and cold dishes and the coffee service was always first rate Our lunches were split between the Lobster House, Oregano and Caribbean Grove with the latter being our favourite as we really enjoy the menu In the evening we ate in the majority of the restaurants with our favourites being the Spice and Zenith. The steaks on this trip were some of the best we have had being so tender and juicy. The main courses we had in the Spice were spiced to perfection. One tip is that if you are going to be dining outdoors on the veranda of the Magna avoid the weekends as there is a party boat that floats around in the water which is nothing to do with the resort itself but the loud music just ruins the atmosphere - or it did for us anyway, The same tip would apply to the romantic dinners on the beach Service was always warm and friendly and mostly prompt Staff Even more so with this trip we were totally amazed at how warm and friendly all the staff were in all areas. Perhaps it is because we have been to the property so many times with our last trip only being last September so some staff knew us from our previous stays. However, this trip ant live music straight after the main show was held in the Sports Bar One big disappointment was that lack of Jamaican music. When we first started to go to Excellence Oyster Bay a lot of the pre main show entertainment were small groups playing or singing Jamaican style music, but no longer Weather This was our first time going to Jamaica in April and to be honest we were rather disappointed as we had more than our fair share of dull or wet weather, but the real dampener was the high cold winds which meant you were sandblasted on the beach Mosquitoes We did get a few bites but they were not a major issue for us Summary Overall we had a great trip so much that we have already booked to return yet again next March when the winds are meant to be much less of an issue as seemingly April is a windy month which is why they hold a kite festival every Easter Finally, our thanks to all of the staff who treated us so well especially the Butler Team (Omar, Orville, Jhayson and Alex) even though we were not in a Villa and also to Sanya (Caribbean Grove), Princess (Hostess), Javiar and Lemoney to name but just a few for looking after us so well As always I am happy to answer any relevant questions

We recently spent a week in one of the villas at Excellence Oyster Bay celebrating our 15-yr anniversary, and it truly exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, we were treated to top-tier service and luxury in every detail! Our villa was stunning – spacious, beautifully appointed, and perfectly positioned to take in the most breathtaking sunsets we’ve ever seen. The villas have assigned butlers and each went above and beyond to ensure our stay was truly magical. Orville, Omar and Jason were amazing! Each evening, we found ourselves completely in awe of the ocean front view; it was a highlight of our trip and something we’ll never forget. The amenities that came with the villa added so much to our experience. We enjoyed upgraded liquor options, attentive butler service (again shoutout to Orville, Omar, Jason and Tahare - butler in training!), a private pool with direct ocean view, a rejuvenating couples massage, and a magical private dinner on the beach that felt like something out of a dream. Daily housekeeping kept everything spotless, and the evening turn-down service was a lovely touch that made returning to our room feel extra special. We chatted daily with Ricardo the amazing pool guy and with the one and only Jamaican Snoop Dogg. Dining at the resort was consistently excellent. We tried nearly every restaurant for lunch and/or dinner and were impressed each time by the quality, presentation, and variety. Every meal felt like a gourmet experience. Our favorite spot was The Kitchen Table (thank you Mikayla for your warm smile and Dakara for amazing service! Dakara welcomed us every day with coffee and both Tahare and Andy provided great service! The Lobster House is perfect for seafood and thank you to Steven for an amazing dining experience! From the warm, professional staff to the world-class accommodations, Excellence Oyster Bay delivered an unforgettable stay. Thank you to all for such amazing memories. Yeh man...one love.

Loved our suite, the entire stretch of beach was beautiful, the service was exceptional, and the fact that all menus had pescatarian options and vegetarian alternatives was beyond impressive. Enjoyed getting to know some of the restaurant chefs too and the F&B guest relations manager, Shane, really upped the ante on an already welcoming and service-forward experience. Lastly, we never use the gym on vacation but decided to try it out and were very happy to have had the same fun guy teach all the daily class sessions. 5 night stay to get away from the daily real world grind. We encountered an issue with the room that we were given. As soon as it was brought to the attention of Shane H, the guest relations Mgr he told us to stick to our plans for this first day, go to dinner, and he will make it right. As we were leaving the restaurant he was there waiting with the great smile on his face. Issue was resolved !!! During our stay we saw him walking the property, observing and chatting with various guests in a most welcoming manner. Aside from our interaction with Shane we found all of the staff we dealt with were very pleasant and helpful wanting guests to have a memorable time. Room was clean ans stocked. Amenties, Atomosphere, Service and Value were more then we expected. We have been to many different island all - inclusive resorts. Excellence Oyster Bay is at the top. Looking forward to a revisit.

My wife Kara and I just returned from our first visit to Excellence Oyster Bay over Spring Break 2024, and we’re already talking about when we’ll go back (July 2026!). We’ve stayed at all the resorts within the Excellence Collection, and we’d place this experience right alongside our all-time favorite, Excellence Playa Mujeres. It was that good. The setting, the people, the food, and the atmosphere combined to give us a true escape from the everyday. From the moment we arrived, the service was smooth and welcoming. We were greeted with cool towels, a glass of prosecco, and friendly smiles. The check-in process was efficient and personalized, and we were thrilled to learn that our room was ready early, despite it being a busy Spring Break week. That was a great first impression and set the tone for a relaxing vacation. We stayed in Beach House 402, which had a breathtaking oceanfront view and its own private plunge pool on the balcony. The room was large, comfortable, and had all the features you’d expect from the Excellence Club level — a well-stocked minibar, a cozy king-sized bed, a spacious bathroom, and daily room service. Being steps from the beach was an incredible luxury, and we took full advantage of that location. That said, the room did show signs of wear, most noticeably a ripped sofa, which felt a bit off-brand for a resort at this price point. It didn’t impact our overall enjoyment, but we hope the resort continues to update the furnishings as needed. One of the highlights of the trip was the incredible staff, who truly went above and beyond to make our stay special. A very special thank-you to Racquel Clarke, our concierge in the Excellence Club. She checked in with us regularly, arranged dining and spa experiences, and even surprised us with an anniversary setup in our room complete with champagne and a cake. Racquel was the definition of attentive, kind, and proactive — one of the best concierge experiences we’ve had anywhere. Another standout was Sashena, who took care of us at both Zenith, Magna, and Caribbean Grove. She was warm, attentive, and added such a joyful presence to each meal — she (and a few other staff members) even sang us a beautiful goodbye song during our last breakfast. That moment alone captured the heart of what made this trip so memorable. At the Sports Bar, Kemoy brought energy and fun every night. He remembered our drinks, engaged in great conversation, and helped make the evenings feel like a casual hangout with friends. Jamela, a supervisor, and Karlene Locke, the restaurant manager, both made an impression with their professionalism and attention to detail. Karlene even had a traditional Jamaican breakfast prepared just for us after learning it was our first trip to the island — an incredibly kind and personal touch. At Oregano, our server Addick was wonderful, and Junior (a.k.a. Yellow Mello) at the Caribbean Grove bar was a delight — his tropical cocktails and positive energy were a perfect match for the setting. We also want to thank Andy and Jadekie, who took great care of us with beachside drink service. And Letishia at the Martini Bar was lovely — we had a great time chatting with her and enjoyed excellent cocktails on more than one occasion. As for the food, we were consistently impressed. Some of our favorite meals included: • Caribbean Grove: The ceviche, Cobb salad, Jamaican linguine and meatballs, jerk chicken, pepperpot soup, and braised oxtail were all excellent. The spices, flavors, and presentation were top-notch. • Oregano: The penne with Genovese pesto and the chili and garlic-marinated tuna were both fantastic at dinner, and we had a great lunch here with penne Bolognese and grilled salmon with basil virgin sauce. • Zenith: The atmosphere and service were excellent — calm, cool, and elegant. Some of the food (like the lobster bisque and chicken noodle soup) had great flavor but was served cold. The tenderloin and seafood trio were just okay, but the experience overall was still enjoyable. • The Grill: This was the only real miss of the trip. We ordered the Argentinian mix and tenderloin, and unfortunately both were dry and overcooked. We ended up leaving early, but the staff was gracious and understanding. The bars across the resort were lively and well-stocked. We had one disappointing moment at the Martini Bar on 4/15 around 7:40 p.m., when we weren’t greeted or served despite sitting for quite a while. It was out of the ordinary and didn’t reflect the high standard of service we experienced elsewhere, so we chalked it up to a rare misstep. One of the best parts of the trip was our visit to the Miilé Spa. We booked the Diamond Ritual couples massage, which included the full hydrotherapy circuit before the treatment. The hydrotherapy — with saunas, cold plunges, pressure jets, and steam rooms — left us deeply relaxed. The massage itself was phenomenal, with aromatherapy, warm oils, and the perfect pressure. We left feeling refreshed and pampered. The spa setting is tranquil and luxurious — a definite highlight we’d recommend to anyone visiting. Compared to other Excellence resorts, Oyster Bay feels more peaceful and secluded than Playa Mujeres. The setting — surrounded on nearly all sides by water — makes it feel like your own private island. Playa Mujeres still holds a special place in our hearts for its amenities and layout, but the warmth of the staff and intimacy of Oyster Bay make it a top contender. In all, Excellence Oyster Bay exceeded our expectations. A few areas — like room condition and consistency in service — could use attention, but the heart and soul of the resort are strong. The people, the views, the spa, and the food combined to make our first trip here truly special. We can’t wait to return and see some familiar faces — especially Racquel, Sashena, and the rest of the team who made our vacation so memorable.

We recently returned from another relaxing stay at Excellence Oyster Bay. The staff, setting, and overall experience made it unforgettable. From the very start of our stay, Raquel Clarke, our concierge, went above and beyond. She was in constant touch with us throughout the trip to ensure every detail was perfect. Her warmth, professionalism, and attentiveness made us feel truly cared for and elevated the entire experience. Raquel is a gem, and we are so grateful for her outstanding service. We stayed in one of the beachfront houses with a walkout straight onto the sand—and it was absolute paradise. Every morning we were greeted with a stunning view of the ocean. Everyone who worked there - from groundskeepers to managers -- always waved and offered a smile when they would pass by, adding to the welcoming vibe. Drink service was consistent and appreciated, and it truly felt like our own slice of the Caribbean. We couldn’t have asked for a better setting to unwind. Seriously, we just didn’t want to leave our deck! Our favorite spot for breakfast and lunch was Magna and Zenith. A special shout-out goes to Sashena who brightened every morning with her smile and energy—and even sang us a goodbye song on our last day. Moments like that are what make this resort stand out. The Caribbean Grove lunch menu was consistently excellent: the cobb salad and ceviche were fresh and flavorful, and the Jamaican linguine and meatballs brought the perfect level of heat. The BBQ jerk pork had great flavor too. Our server Andy was friendly and attentive, Jadekie was always warm and kind, and Junior, the bartender, made us a refreshing “Yellow Mello”that was our favorite drink of the trip! Dinner at Oregano was another highlight. The penne with Genovese pesto and the chili and garlic marinated tuna (served rare) were both delicious. We also tried lunch there—penne Bolognese was solid, and the salmon with basil virgin sauce was a definite win. Zenith had its ups and downs. The flavors were great, especially the lobster bisque and chicken egg noodle soup, but both dishes were served cold. The tenderloin with Jamaican pepper sauce was okay, and while the tuna, steak, and lobster trio had promise, the tuna was unfortunately overcooked. One of our best dinners was back at Caribbean Grove. Sanieka gave us outstanding service, and the pepperpot soup, St. Anne-style jerk chicken rolls, mahi, jerk chicken, and oxtail were packed with Caribbean flavor. The bar scene was generally fantastic. Kemoy at the Sports Bar was engaging and attentive, and Letishia at the Martini Bar stood out for her warm conversation and friendly service. Behind the scenes, Jamela, the supervisor, and Karlene Locke, the restaurant manager, helped keep everything running smoothly, and it shows. Excellence Oyster Bay continues to deliver a luxurious and welcoming escape. Highly recommend—and thank you to the amazing team that made our trip so memorable! We already have our next trip scheduled for 2026!

Bianca and Cawayne at the Reception area were so welcoming and kind even though we were a little grumpy from traveling. Our bag guy Leon was very personable. The property is beautiful and well maintained. Our room was spacious, and the maid did a good job keeping it clean and replenished. We fully recommend this resort; however, if you are looking for a party atmosphere, this is not for you.

There were some last minute schedule changes that caused us to miss a few of the shows, but I believe whatever happened was out of their control. You must see Renease at the Martini Bar, she will make you the best tasting martinis, hands down!! Rick at the pool has an energy that is contagious, he made the pool activities the best! Also, you must go and experience Carlene (hibachi chef) at Spice! She serenaded us and sings like an angel. I am sad that i did not get my favorite latte maker's name, she was pretty amazing. She would see me coming and already had my drink started. We can't wait to come back!

The entire staff was very accommodating and made sure we were taken care of! Tomayo, on the entertainment team, was the best! He went above and beyond to ensure we were having a good time. The ambiance of the resort is breathtaking! From the moment we arrived it has been nothing but bliss. We checked in at the VIP Excellence Club. We were greeted and checked in by Personal Concierge, Delisea. We got two rum punches to kickstart the check in which was amazing. She did an awesome job telling us about the resort and the amenities. When we got to our room the room was amazing. Loved our view. Few moments later we got a call and it was Delisea inquiring if we loved our room and if there was anything else she could do to enhance our vacation because she wants to ensure it’s seamless. We founded it very satisfying knowing that we were in good hands. She told us where we could eat for breakfast, lunch, dinner and great excursion recommendations like the luminous lagoon which we loved. We will be coming back to the resort. There’s nothing better than a person that loves their job and shows it. Great reflection on the resort. Kudos to you Delisea and for all your help in making our vacation an unforgettable one. We had a room overlooking the private pool room in the 4 building. Our room was very cool and aesthetically pleasing. Our maid service was good. We had an accident with the jacuzzi which flooded our room. Someone notice and a maintenance lady Anistasia and a maintenance guy very helpful came by our room and they showed us how to full the jacuzzi. We didn’t feel like a bother to them even though we med a messsss.They even call maid services to clean up and she did it with a smile.Food was great especially the Caribbean grove. The lady from the smoothie bar in the corner Sherne was great always smiling. The hostess at the at kitchen table in the mornings always made us feel welcome. I don’t remember all the names but they made our trip special. We will be back next year 10/10.
