Slightly late review but wanted to review this resort. We stayed 10 nights from 15th December through 25th December. Despite the chaos at Montego Bay Airport, we arrived at RIU Reggae to room 2100 and had the best time. We loved the resort and the staff. Room was clean with the usual RIU features, mini bar filled every other day but any requests could be sent via the app. We loved the pool area and the friendly beach vendors were no hassle, in fact they were really friendly! We made reservations for a few of the a la carte restaurants, and whilst we weren't blown away they were still great. Christmas is always our favourite time of year to travel and we were treated to a great buffet on Christmas eve and some special entertainment on Christmas Day. Special shout out to Michelle and Felecia on the pool bars during the day who made our stay extra special. Jamaica you were amazing and can't wait to return!!

Do not stay here. It was run down, had crappy food and not great service. I went to 2 other hotels while I was in Jamaica on this trip that weref ar and away better in all areas. the pipe burst in the room above us and that was a mess. We were given attitude by the maintenance people. You are given one beach towel a day, like what??? A few good servers in the buffet but food was gross. hotel is very loud. Beach is also not great. It is small and chairs are taken quickly.

Had a lovely time at Riu Reggie. The staff were really friendly all happy to help delivering great service, special mention to Delroy at the smaller swim up pool, Michelle at big pool bar. AJ, sailing instructor from the water sports center. Zacharie at breakfast and lunch in the main buffet all who gave exceptional service. Also, all the entertainment team who made the effort to spend time chatting to all not just those involved in big group activities to ensure you where having a great holiday. Good variety of entertainment, party atmosphere if you wanted it but plenty of spaces to relax as well. Great variety of food both at buffet and specialities. Room clean and well maintained. Great variety of drinks, service at all bars quick and efficient. Reception team really helpful and friendly. Plenty of sun beds easy to get one anytime of day. Pool towels often weren’t available by the afternoon so a tip is to get one at the start of the day. Service at water sports centre varied depending who was working some reluctant to get all the available equipment out, for example one day only one sail boat out across the three hotels to share when 5 where available other days. However some of the water sports team where fantastic and went out of there way to ensure you enjoyed yourself. Also hotel needs to replace some equipment, some broken kayaks and paddle boards meaning some out of use putting pressure on remaining ones and some being used where poor quality. Did enjoy having available though. Overall we had a great stay and would return.

Our stay at the Riu Reggae was most excellent from beginning to end we were welcomed and treated with kindness and attention to our needs were met. From our arrival at check in we met LIBIS who listened to our room requests and provided us the most beautiful room. The food at the buffet and at the Restaurants we ate at (Steak house/Italian/Seafood were excellent. There was much variety to suit all pallets and service quality was above expectation. Chef SHAWN is a true leader in his passion to provide an excellent variety of food. He listens to his patrons requests and infuses his dedication to service to please and nourish his guests. We had some very excellent servers; shout out to The Captain of the Steak house Javon, Servers RICO and the day buffet server ZACH. We never asked for a cup to be filled and they always inquired as to our feedback towards the meal. Renova Spa: We were pampered at the beach gazebo from the Spa Manager Corine a 60 min. massage from RMT's KADINE (who went beyond expectations to facilitate our appointment) and DIANNAH. These two lovely ladies are the best at the art of relaxation a true unique spa experience. If you want book at massage make sure you ask for them by name you will not be disappointed ! The Pool Bar (an extremely busy place) Our favorites were FELISHA and MARCO they were sooo friendly and remember your name despite serving a countless amount party people. If you just describe the beverage you want they will quench your thirst the best drinks with or without alcohol. The beach is beautiful and the grounds staff keep the beach clean despite the sea grass the ends up on the beach throughout the day. The overall cleanliness of this resort is immaculate from hallways to beach bathrooms. Just a side-note there is a crew of kayakers that sit on the beach from 7 am till evening selling shells, necklaces, ornaments and lots of other things. They are friendly and harmless just ignore them. When they see the police boat you will see them scatter. Housekeeping always made our room up (just make sure you hang the green door knocker on the outside of your door when your are ready for service) We never had an issue with theft which is a relief because of past experiences at different hotels. We could not be more pleased and have felt more welcomed at the Riu Reggae and God willing we will definitely return. We have nothing but positive things to say, this has been the best holiday and thanks to the staff who made it so.
