Breathless Montego Bay Resort & Spa

The resort was amazing all the staff was so friendly, the beach was a beautiful turquoise. Also a very special shoutout to Oleda Pinnock the concierge who last minute was about to some valentines extras for us! She went way above and beyond that evening!

Staying at Breathless was definitely a LUXURY experience. The ENTIRE staff from servers to housekeeping is a 10/10 everyone is so attentive and really wants to you have a amazing time. My Butlers Shane & Roy were amazing, any request that I had they were available. Every morning they reached out to make sure we were okay and fulfilled any requests we have had. Throughout our time there they were both really attentive. I will definitely be coming back and requesting them again for my butlers. The only downside that led to me not giving 5 stars with this resort is the discrepancies between the call center and reservations department. I called and paid the resort directly as I was not tracking to a separate call center handling reservation and payments. This also was not communicated to me when I called the resort requesting to make the payment. The call center does not have access to payments made through the resort itself, someone from the call center has to call and verify it with the resort. The call center verified and told me the payment was confirmed. Unfortunately, during both my check in and check out I was questioned on the payment by the front desk as it still reflected not paid leading to us wasting about 30 mins checking in and checking out while they confirmed that it was indeed paid. My recommendation is to handle payments with the call center directly and do not use the resort as it is a lot of extra confusion. Outside of this incident my stay was amazing!

The property, which includes access to two other properties right next-door, sits on a beautiful pristine beach. The property itself is well kept and clean and beautiful to walk through. The room could use some updates. The cabinetry was chipped and missing handles and the closet door was hard to slide open and shut. The food was plentiful and fresh, but just OK in flavor, nothing spectacular. The worst thing about the stay was the staff. A majority of the time we felt we were inconveniencing them when we needed something. Not all staff, but many of them seemed annoyed and irritated and had poor attitudes. Our TV was broken and we had to call the front desk three or four times as they didn’t follow up as they said they would. It felt like we had to hound them to get it fixed. A shout out to the cleaning staff, however, their staff consistently seemed to be smiling, happy, warm and pleasant. We would probably opt to try another resort next time.

Chief Melissa is the best in the world! She was very polite and definitive in making delicious breakfast omelets to perfection. She also took the time each morning to make my wife and I fresh beet juice! Our butler-Travis was also awesome and must be commended !! He provided us with top tier services! Just to name a few he prepared our outside jacuzzi and explained its operations, brought my wife and I fresh coconuts daily, made reservations at elite restaurants, reserved cabanas on the beachfront and at the pool deck during our visit, and surprised us with door decor in celebration of our 16th yr wedding anniversary. Olivia was our butler for only a few hours but she provided top tier services as well. She assisted us in last minute add-on for the Valentines dinner under the stars and even set up golf-cart transportation to the event. All waiters and waitresses were polite and on task in making our stay one we will never forget!

The vibe was perfect for our group, and the entertainment team kept the energy high with lively and fun parties—everyone had an amazing time. On our last night, we met the Huqqa Team, and they made the evening unforgettable. The Huqqa service was exceptional—entertaining, high-quality, and delivered with such flair. It was the second-best Huqqa performance we’ve ever experienced, second only to what we’ve seen in the Middle East. My wife, who loves Shisha, was absolutely thrilled! The experience was so incredible that another couple in our group has already decided to change their upcoming trip to Breathless Montego Bay. We’re all planning to return next month, and I can’t wait to book our stay again. We want our discount. Huge thanks to the Huqqa Team, the Entertainment Team, and the entire staff at Breathless Montego Bay for making our trip unforgettable. We had the opportunity to spend a lot of time at Breathless while staying at Secrets earlier this month, as well as at New Years. The staff at Breathless is superb. They always make us feel welcome and give us lots of attention. We were happy to experience Bare Buns, Altitude, Fishnets, the breakfast buffet, and Culinaria, with the latter being our favourite meal this time. The servers are exceptional and bar tenders made our drinks to perfection. We love the entertainment here. Samii Jo, Red Stripe, Teejay, and others always go out of their way to ensure we are having the best time. We were able to enjoy the evening at The Oscars and it was a lot of fun. Friday is Jamaica Day and we absolutely love the party at the pool with Kerine and Jerome singing. We can’t wait to visit again on our next trip.

Had the best time at this resort! It is beautiful, staff is amazing and food is great! The rooms are big and access to the beach is easy. Kaleen and Ashanie were the best at the Breathless beach bar, always smiling and making sure we were good. O’Neil was our favorite bartender at Wink, from morning coffee to afternoon margaritas, he’s your guy! Our waitress at the Italian restaurant, Nickoda made us feel extra special on our anniversary, thank you so much. And finally, the entertainment staff, TeeJay and West work so hard to make sure everyone has a great time! From morning to night, their kindness and energy cannot be matched. A major highlight to our trip was the Full Moon Lumiere beach dinner, if you have the chance to attend, you won’t regret it! Thank you Breathless Montego Bay!!

My wife and I got married at Secrets Wild Orchid the week prior to coming to Breathless here. We considered this part "the honeymoon" part of our trip. Unfortunately, I herniated a disc in my back on this trip and ended up hospitalized in Montego Bay for the day. After some medication and rest I was able to fully enjoy the vacation due to not only my wife but the amazing entertainment team here. The entertainment team and the rest of the staff here truly made this place feel like home and really made all the difference when I was in extreme amounts of pain at times. Tequila and Reika from the entertainment team helped keep my wife and I entertained when it was hard for me to get around. Including us in all the activities we could participate in! The staff was super accommodating in making sure I could get around okay. The food and drinks were great, by the end of the week everyone knew my wife and I by name it was truly a great experience planned our one year anniversary trip already this time next year to do the excursions I couldnt do. Thank you Jamaica for helping make this the best weeks of our lives.

Once you pull up the bell hops say "Welcome Home". Easy access to food and drinks are always available. Tipping is not required but very appreciated. No need to do a currency exchange, The US dollar is king.

This resort was beautiful. The staff were very engaging ! The entertainment team was top notch. Specifically Kai, Shy and Quban. They always greeted us and gave their best at every event. The food was also good. Tevon and Theresa always made sure we were seated and serviced in a timely manner. If they didn’t have something out they went to get it to the best of their ability. Tamara at the Wink lobby bar made the best drinks and was so friendly. There was a few flukes with the rooms (light switch not working, rain shower water pressure low) Overall it was a really good experience. I’d go back if the staff is still the same! They made the trip worth it!

The Hyatt out did themselves with this all inclusive resort. The ambiance, staff, meals, drinks, parties and general hospitality is TOP TIER. There were 2 employees that while being themselves took this 5 day vacation beyond our expectations

What an absolute amazing trip! My girlfriend and I had such a blast at Breathless with a great mix of fun, relaxation, exploration and amazing food. The accommodations were absolutely incredible with cleanliness and a modern, luxurious experience being their top priority. We met the manager Daniele, who was an absolute class act, and greeted us with a friendly welcome, and a bottle of chianti wine as a gift. The staff at the resort was one of the main reasons that my girlfriend and I had such a good time, where they constantly made us feel welcome and ensured we were constantly having a good time. Everyone welcomed you with a smile and was very friendly. We want to give a special thank you to Quan, Zugu, Trixie, Teresa, Donna Lee, Red stripe and Brianna for making our trip one to remember with their constant jokes, amazing dance moves, hospitality, and welcoming nature. An extra special thank you goes out to Tequila, Sky, Kai and King Knaz for their incredible personalities and constant entertainment that had us laughing and smiling the entire time.
