Absolutely amazing!! Started our month vacation in Fiji at Tokoriki which spoiled us. The staff is truly incredible & endearing. The spa staff is top notch & not one of them disappointed. The dive shop & staff made my husband, Larry so happy!! First time he never complained about diving & he dove at least once daily if not twice with them.
And Tom, the Chef, kind, understanding & accommodating… Top Notch.
Then there was the “family” of guests that was created naturally & the resort, its atmosphere allowed & made it happen.
It’s is true paradise!! Don’t question it….
Just go!!! You won’t regret it!!

A big thank you to all the staff, with a special thanks to Eci and Iva in the restaurant. Chef Mala for the amazing dinner he cooked for us and the rest of his team in the kitchen, too! Lulu organised the setup and was amazing! Management and staff on Tokoriki made our trip a 10/10.
We would highly recommend and definitely be returning soon.
Thank you so much to all. We both really appreciate the efforts from everyone.

This was the most amazing vacation! While the warmth from the staff was the most memorable aspect of our stay, I can't fully describe how beautiful this place is. From the breathtaking views, the ultra comfortable rooms (very nice linens, pillows and mattress), terrific food and ample activities its hard to imagine a better place to unwind.
We left feeling refreshed and renewed. I look forward to returning. I know this is not unusual as there were a number of couples returning for their 2nd, 3rd and even 11th visit.
If someone can't relax and be happy here, it isn't the resort.

Tokoriki Island Resort is simply Fantastic. This is from someone who has been a ton of places on this planet. It is honestly hard to tell you what I loved the most. The people at the resort, the beauty of the Island, or the water and what was underneath it.What we found is the loving nature of the staff spilled over to the guests and how we began to interact with each other. We made friends with people from all over. The food consistantly exceeding expectations. My wife is a foodie, she has a very high bar. She had to visited the Kitchen. She had great conversations with Chef Thomas sharing tips and recipes. We were in the water every day either diving or snorkeling. The reefs are spectacular! The coral is healthy, vibrant and holding a bounty of Marine life. Colors were breath taking. The Brules were private and well appointed. We only used the outside shower. It is obvious why. We had Kava with the men and they shared stories about their culture and the history of the ceremonies behind the drink. You often can see through kindness in a lot of hospitality environments often driven for the quest for tips. The culture in Fiji and Tokoriki discourage this. The kindness is genuine and from the heart. You can feel it! We loved our trip to Cast Away island looking for Wilson. Tom Hanks could have been stuck in worse places. Kind of hard to feel sorry for him. We try not to go back to the same places on our trips but we will be making an exception with Tokoriki!!

The location is wonderful, the resort is small and the rooms are almost hidden into the land which makes it look so unspoilt from the sea. Rooms are lovely, like luxury huts with direct access to pristine beaches and sea. Good selection of food and a lot of drinks to choose from, all at a reasonable price. But the most amazing thing about this hotel is the people. Everyone knows your name, everyone greats you and asks how you are, and everyone cares. Such thoughtful, courteous, fun and engaging staff that made our stay very special. Loved it and now feel part of the Tokoriki family

The layout of the resort is well planned and the rooms are perfectly furnished and high quality. Nothing was missed as far as accommodations go and being beachfront really helps to create a relaxing atmosphere.
Regarding the food, we were very happy with the assortment and everything was top quality at every meal. The dive center is top notch and the experience of the dive masters was extremely impressive.
We will for sure be back one day!

This was our second time to Tokoriki. Over the decades we've been to Fiji 12 times staying various places, and Tokoriki is head and shoulders our current pick.
The accommodation and food is terrific, and the people are wonderful. Importantly, in the two years since our last trip, the staff seem to be all the same. This shows they are a happy crew, and for returning guests, enhances the feeling of "coming home" and "visiting family". Important Tokoriki themes.
Will, Kale and Save continue to run a smooth dive operation. One of the great things about Tokoriki is that its close enough to Nadi that you can jump in the heli and be there same day you arrive in Fiji, but yet far enough from Nadi that the water and reef quality is top notch. The dive sites are all pretty close - the most distant are 20-30min, but there are several excellent sites just 5-10min from the jetty. If you are a keen diver, it's worth booking your dives before you come so you get first dibs.
We stayed for New Years Eve and the team put on a great evening for the guests.

We are senior divers, and our dive staff was excellent. Will's Dive
Shop responded to all of my pre-trip requests, and the dive staff provided us with personalized diving agendas. Save (pronounced Sah'-vey) made sure we were safe, comfortable, and that we had excellent new equipment for each of our dives. They worked with us to have a dive schedule/profile that we were very comfortable with. For many of our dives we had our own divemaster. The reefs are so healthy - you won't believe the colors of the coral - and we enjoyed morning diving and the afternoon snorkeling boat trips. My husband requested the larger tanks for our dives and the dive shop was able to provide him with those. You must see the giant clams!!
We opted for the speedboat transfers to Tokoriki Island rather than the helicopter transfers. The food was amazing. The menus featured fresh island fare and the flavors were so good. I never knew I loved fresh carrot and turmeric breakfast juice!
The infinity pool provided incredible sunset views. Our bure had a private plunge pool and a wonderful private outdoor shower. We loved the private hammock under the trees and our private path to the beach! The beds and pillows were perfect!
If you are looking for the number one destination in the South Pacific, you are looking for Tokoriki Island Resort. You'll be greeted by name when you arrive, and you'll be greeted by name throughout your stay. Vincent was an excellent host, and the rest of the attendants provided all the personalized treatment we could have imagined. The entire resort has only 36 bures, so the resort never has more than 72 guests. We most highly recommend Tokoriki Island Resort, and we are already planning our next trip!

My wife Helen and I returned to Tokoriki Island Resort for our 23rd visit in May. "Why 23 times?" you might ask. We travel a lot all over the world and some years ago we happened upon Tokoriki Island Resort and just fell in love with it. I remember sitting outside our beachfront bure on our first night enjoying a cocktail and looking out across the sea at the sunset and saying "This is Paradise". Since then the resort has continually been impoved, uprgraded and made even more beautiful. But it has never lost it incomparable friendliness and welcome - as the locals say "Welcome home" - and it truly is our home away from home and our chance to veg out in luxurious surrounding every year - sometimes more.
I have to admit we are particluarly choosy abut where we stay when away from home and always stay at 5 star hotels. But in a place like Fiji, we want the mix of quality but also want to be in a relaxed atmosphere and enjoy the famous Fijian hospitality. Tokoriki has been able to find that balance perfectly
The accomodartion is Fijian style and quite luxurious. We usually stay in one of the Beachfront Pool Villas which are fabulous with seperate bedroom and living room, large deck with a day bed and plunge pool right on the beach overlooking the sea.
The staff, many of whom reside on the neighborouring island of Yanuya are so welcoming and friendly, and nothing is too much trouble. We are terribly spoilt.
The Reosrt is set amongst spectacular gardens and beautiful white sand beaches. The food is excellent under the dierction of Chef Thomas and his team.
We have certainly visited other luxury island resorts in the region and around the world, but nothing can match the Tokoriki atmosphere and warmth. The owners the Turnbull family, and managers Robert and Patrice are incredibly attentive and committed to maintinig high standards and making sure that guests enjoy a memorable experience at the resort.
I enjoy scuba diving and have dived at various places around Fiji and elsewhere. But I do most of my diving at Tokoriki Resort where the Dive shop operated by Will Wragg and Alex Garland is as good as it gets. Their attention to detail, organisation and planning is meticulous. The dive equipmwent is first class and regularly renewed. Their team of dive masters and drivers etc are fantastic and a lot of fun - Kale, Save, Sam, Epeli and Joe are all very professional and make for a fun and safe diving experience. The diving is relaxed an easy due to the professionalism of the Tokoriki dive team. There are many spectacular dive sights close by and always plenty to see.
No question - we will be returning to Tokoriki Island Resort for our 24th visit very soon!

From the moment we stepped off the helicopter and onto the jetty, we heard the staff say "welcome home." These simple words stayed with us for the remainder of our stay. The staff definitely sets Tokoriki apart from other resorts we have stayed at, and while it's a small resort in comparison to others we have traveled to, it offers everything that you'd expect (if not more) from any larger resort in the world.
We started planning our 40th birthday trip about 10 months ago and found Tokoriki on a whim while searching keywords such as adults only, luxury and Fiji. After reading the reviews and looking at the pictures on Instagram, we knew Tokoriki was where we wanted to celebrate our milestone birthday and have absolutely no regrets after visiting.
The difference here is simple. 36 bures and villas, 72 max guests. This allows for a curated experience that you won't find at the Sheraton, Marriott or Hilton regardless of which city you are in. Each morning, the staff greeted us with a friendly "Bula, Ray and Ryan" or a "how was your beach picnic yesterday?" The fact that the staff gets to know you by name, in a short amount of time, should tell you everything that you need to know about this property. They are invested, happy, and want to ensure that you are having the best possible time while on Fiji time.
Our 5 nights at Tokoriki were everything we were looking for in a short vacation away. We had daily massages in the spa (which were a daily highlight), several bottles of champagne, ocean front dining (the food overall was fantastic - no buffets here), a special teppanyaki dinner, a floating breakfast, a picnic lunch on a private island and dinner on the jetty at sunset. All arranged by the staff, as either part of the package we booked or prearranged ahead of our trip. Overall, they delivered on everything we were looking for in a luxurious, laid-back escape.
I'd be remiss if I didn't mention some of the staff that absolutely went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Vinaka Vakalevu to Vika, Queen V, Anna, Jimi, Joanna & Liti. You made our trip special and we hope to see you at Tokoriki again real soon!

First of all: the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. The ressort ist nicely designed. Unfortunately the experience does not match the money you pay and the diving experience is horrible. The restaurant is highly understaffed. Internet is only available in the restaurant and bar. You do not even get some nuts with your cocktail - what do you expect for 1,500 USD per night. The dive boat is the tiniest I have seen in 10 years of diving all over the world. It does not even have space for a fresh water bucket where you can clean your gear after diving. The ratio divers to guide is with 6:1 quite high. The equipment is extremely cheap and worne down. In many sizes it is even not available, e.g. large long wetsuits for women. They send me down with a none working dive computer. We wanted to fit the equipment the day before the dive, but were rejected: "We have seen you, we know your size." The result was that I got a BCD where the Kummerband did not close. My wife's secondary regulator was broken - they told here: it is ok. So bottomline is, don't go there if you expect value for money or want to enjoy your dive.
P.S.: After I posted this review my wife was thrown of the dive boat by the owner of the dive shop. What shall I say: I am lost for words.
So if you weigh more than 100kg and want to dive, don't go their, because it is the only dive site in the world where they do not have 2XL BCD and then they do not offer any compensation at all and punish your partner for telling the truth.
PPS: The comment of the Australian owner shows that safety of the guests as well as privacy issues are obviously no issue for him as long as the profit is ok. Also he is fine with extortion.

We arrived to be greeted with a cheery and loud "Welcome Home!" and by the time we left it certainly felt like home!! There was an incredibly personal touch from the moment we arrived, given that 9 other couples arrived at the same time as us via the Cruise transfer each couple were checked in by individual members of staff who were attentive and knowledgeable before entertaining us with the Bula song. Liti answered any questions we had and gave us all of the information we could have possibly needed whilst showing us around the resort and giving us a full tour of our Bure. The addition of the Teppanyaki, oceanfront dinner and breakfast as part of the full board package were a nice surprise - the Teppanyaki evening is a great way to meet other couples and create connections while being entertained by the excellent staff in Ana and Alice.
The dive shop team provided some excellent excursions and their obvious expertise in the water during the various boat rides and snorkel trips made sure that all experiences felt safe and were extremely entertaining. Kale and Abu were great guides on the village and cast away experiences with their humour and personalities making all experiences truly memorable. The snorkel trips were incredible seeing the various sea life and coral but the standout experience was the private beach picnic!! 4 hours of uninterrupted bliss on your own private island will live long in the memory, there is something quite special about looking along your own private beach and seeing that the only footsteps in the sand are yours.
The food was excellent and something for everyone and even if there wasn't chef Thomas would cater to your needs. While the food was incredible the true highlight of this trip was the staff!! Every single member of staff would greet you with a beaming smile and a cheerful Bula!! From the cocktail tasting evenings with Niko, Lave and Reave to Kris and her wait staff attending to your every need at meal times and of course the entertainment of the band boys Moses, Thomasi, Mala, Lei and every other member of staff that joined in singing or jumping on the single string bass.
We couldn't have wished for a better start to married life than this honeymoon and it was all down to the incredible staff. As well as those that we have already mentioned we'd like to give our heartfelt thanks to Jimi, Sekeli, Jay, Kitti, Mita, Mere, Kali, Tusi, Talia, Dee, Queen V, Kara and Joe.

My wife and I decided to stay 2 nights at Tokoriki Resort to cap off our honeymoon. When we landed, we were immediately greeted by the staff by our first names and serenaded to. This was the start of an incredibly personalized experience where every staff member would genuinely ask you how you were doing by a first name basis. The resort really leans into the "Tokoriki family" concept and it makes the experience a cut above the rest.
We booked a bure, and when entering in, we were greeted with a beautiful view of the patio that overlooked the beach. There was also a gorgeous outdoors shower area that we definitely used over the indoor showers. The open bure was beautiful and airy, though we did have to fend off some large insects that ventured in at night! Everything that we could have thought of was accounted for.
For food, we went with the full board to not worry too much about food. We were very full throughout the entire stay and probably put on quite a few pounds! One night, we got to enjoy an oceanside dinner where we were serenaded to. It made for a magical experience. The other night, we enjoyed a teppanyaki meal and made new friends on the island. The service was a bit on the slow side, but that's to be expected (Fiji/Island time), and it wasn't like we were in a rush to go anywhere else!
Activities are also plentiful, though specific ones are usually offered a few times a week, which meant we missed out on some of the more interesting ones. We got to snorkel around the island and watched a very interesting crab race. Most of the time, however, we spent enjoying the atmosphere by the infinity pool or on the beach itself.
The price point for the resort means I probably wouldn't come back except for a special occasion, but you definitely get every dollar you pay for in enjoying the absolute beauty that is Tokoriki Island and Fiji while being treated to exceptional service.
Vinaka viti levu!

Ahhhhh Tokoriki Island Resort.... pure bliss. We have visited Fiji 11 times, and this resort is truly exceptional. We wouldn't stay anywhere else again.
Tastefully secluded on Tokoriki Island and not to be confused with the Sheraton Tokoriki (where we've also stayed), this resort goes above and beyond to make your cares and worried dissolve.
I could go on forever about the features that really differentiate the resort from the multitude of others, but the stand-outs are: amazing staff that genuinely embrace you as family, food that is international standard for discerning foodies, a beautiful spa where we enjoyed excellent massages daily, no kids (we have four and thoroughly enjoyed the quiet adult environment!), very comfortable bed and pillows, the stunning landscaping and gardens, beautiful pool and surrounding area (and the ability to always get a lounger).
The staff are up before dawn fastidiously cleaning every area for your to enjoy. We were impressed by the incredible work ethic of the team who really go above and beyond.
The bures are spacious and well appointed. The option of a bure with a pool is a real bonus for a quick plunge before breakfast. Daily snorkelling trips to various spots on the reef are wonderful.
Don't hesitate to book at this gem of a resort.

We have been blessed to visit over 35 countries, and Tokoriki Island Resort is our favourite place among them all.
Guests are treated like they are important, and we were made to feel very special.
For a sunny holiday, this resort can't be beaten. The attention to detail in every aspect of the resort is amazing.
Each Bure is separate from others, and is very private. The decor is wonderful in each room, and in the main areas.
We like to exercise a bit, and kayaked, played tennis, visited the new gym, could run 5km, swam in the ocean every day, and in the private pool at our bure. We still had plenty of time to sit and enjoy the weather and the views.
The sand on the beach is super soft, and clean. Hard to find anything as good as this.
The food is outstanding!
The gardens are breathtaking, with not a leaf out of place - each time we walked from our bure to the main area we walked slowly to take in the gardens.
Maybe above all - the staff were right on top of looking after us. Almost all staff greeted us by name, and did whatever they could to make our stay better.

We returned 24 years after our first visit on our honeymoon, celebrating a milestone birthday and wedding anniversary. Wish we hadn't left it so long!! We have over those years stayed at many lovely high end Fiji resorts and without a doubt this is our winner, we've found our Fiji home! The resort has retained its island charm with a few major upgrades of the bures, infinity pool, gym, dining options and facilities. The staff are all amazing and make the experience very special. They consistently go the extra mile. There was a lovely group of guests who were all really enjoying themselves, feeling part of the Tokoriki family. All the accomodation is very private, very beautiful. Spotlessly clean and very well serviced. Linens gorgeous, bed super comfy. If you're lucky enough to have a private pool, you will use it a lot! We enjoyed the privacy of the bure but also the beautiful infinity pool set up, and enjoyed lunch and drinks under our umbrella. The beach is also lovely, we swam in the ocean every day multiple times. The food is outstanding. Absolutely beautiful and they will accommodate absolutely any request. Fresh and healthy and great with my GF requests. There was also really great variety each night, different menu every day. The Tepanyaki a must! Drinks are excellent. The spa is divine, a very serene setting and the treatments very good. Snorkelling is a must, we loved our adventures out to the reef. I did quite a bit of paddle boarding, the lagoon is perfect for this and the equipment was in good condition. We had a such a wonderful time we've booked again for October! We can't wait to be welcomed back to our Fiji home. Thank you to you all for making our stay so wonderful.

It truly did feel like family . We had a Bure close to the main area which was great for us , but if you are on your honeymoon I wouldn’t recommend that as it is close to the staff area and did get noisy at times .. but it was with beautiful Fijian laughter that we actually enjoyed. Our Bure was very spacious and beautiful decorated.
The meals are absolutely amazing and the desserts to die for !
We celebrated our 40th anniversary and they made the evening so very special ❤️.
My husband was limited on what he could do due to steps accessing the wharf and unfortunately we were hoping to go fishing but also steps stopped this . If we could have got on a boat off the beach it could have been possible. Also a bit difficult getting on and off the helicopter without any kind of roll out steps . But with wonderful help from the staff they mad it happen . .
To many names of staff to mention as every single one of them are amazing so thanks to you all for our very very very special holiday . We will hopefully return one day soon .
We stayed 8 days and did feel like family when we left .. plenty to do or plenty not to do depending on your preference..
would definitely recommend Tokoriki to anyone. Vinaka Tokoriki .

I can’t think of a single bad thing to say. They exceeded our expectations in every way. Beautiful, clean, great food.
I would recommend doing the helicopter transfer there, it was beautiful and only a 10 min ride compared to the hour long boat ride.
