Fantastic place. A 1 hr plane trip from Nadi. Great views on the trip, free shuttle to Koro Sun. Super relaxing place, we had a fantastic welcome by friendly people, good food places and lots to do if you want.. or just relax on a sunbed. There are several pools, paddle boarding, we kayaked to the local reef (with baby reef sharks), shows were put on (cava, Fijian fire dancing, craft, etc). Laundry service was perfect, we didn't always use the daily housekeeping. You can dive, get a massage treatment in the rainforest, a trip in to town to see the local markets. Always super welcoming and we loved the friendly people.. bula ! Highly recommend esp if you are looking to de-stress.

My husband and I enjoyed five days at Koro Sun celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. We stayed in the Lighthouse Burre. It was our own wee piece of paradise with a pool and lovely deck to lounge on that overlooked the ocean. The Lighthouse is a little separate from everything else - just perfect. When we first arrived, the lovely staff had decorated our bed with an anniversary message and flowers - a nice touch. We loved the resort. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed the couples massage up in the Rainforest spa with champagne and canapes - what a serene spot and such a gorgeous treat. We recommend it. We enjoyed snorkelling - lots of colourful coral and fish. The ocean temperature was always so warm - my husband commented that he thought he'd had baths that temp! We also enjoyed the local feast evening with song and dance - lots of fun. We enjoyed the food - good breakfast and the resort and pizza and burgers at the Sand bar. The adult's pool is in a lovely setting - so nice to sit there and enjoy a cocktail. We loved our stay at Koro Sun - how beautiful with the rainforest one side and the ocean the other. Thank you to the gorgeous staff who made our stay so memorable. We hope to visit again soon.

Great honeymoon destination!
Friendliest staff in the world! Options to stay on the water, the water’s edge and up in the tropical rain forest. Excellent service, food and activities, including world class scuba diving! They exceeded our expectations especially for such a remote place in paradise. Highly recommend!

Had a fabulous 3 nights at Koro Sun. We opted for a basic room which was spacious and had everything we needed: aircon, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer, iron and they even supplied bug spray. The resort is well maintained and the staff were so friendly. I celebrated my birthday on a Sunday and the choir sang my happy birthday song which was a lovely touch, and the staff presented me with a birthday cake. The only reason I haven’t given a 5 star review was due to the food and ordering system. We didn’t get back from our trip until 14:30 and went to Sandbar for lunch. We were told the kitchen was closed due to preparing for dinner - but they don’t change the menu for dinner and it’s advertised 11am-7pm so we were confused by this. We also asked if they could phone through and place our order for dinner in the main restaurant but was told it was too late as order had to be in by 14:00. We did eventually get both lunch and dinner but it was a bit of a battle. Also although we appreciate why they need food orders in advance the food in the main restaurant is precooked and left to warm so the 2 meals we had in there were a bit dry. We had dinner at Latitude on the first night which was amazing and the Sandbar food was also great. I would highly recommend this resort but I do feel they need to accommodate guests better who are going out on trips with regards to cut off times for food ordering. We were due back from our trip at 1:00 but it ran late which was out of our control otherwise we would have ordered in the morning.

Thank you so much to all the staff who made our stay so enjoyable and unforgettable. We had an absolutely wonderful time in this little paradise, and your warmth and hospitality made our experience even more special. During our stay, we had the chance to explore some beautiful and unique places in the area that we absolutely loved. Visiting the nearby waterfall was a breathtaking experience, and we enjoyed every moment of it. The chocolate factory tour was another highlight, where we got to learn about the process and taste some of the best chocolate we’ve ever had. Attending church on Sunday was a meaningful experience for us, allowing us to connect with the local community in such a heartfelt way. We also took the opportunity to explore the town, where we enjoyed shopping and learning more about the local culture. The traditional dances and customs we were introduced to were fascinating, and we loved learning about them. Being surrounded by nature was refreshing, and we appreciated the opportunity to disconnect and enjoy the peaceful beauty around us. The local food was also a highlight—everything tasted so fresh and flavorful. Thank you once again for everything, and we truly hope to see you again in the future. Vinaka 🌺

Koro Sun was everything we wanted for our "get away from everything" vacation. We stayed in a spacious floating bure that gently rose and fell with the tides. We began every morning on our deck, coffee in hand, watching the sun rise and the fish feed four feet in front of us. The resort activities director, Andrew, put together 7-9 different activities to choose from each day including snorkeling, kayaking, rainforest hikes, handicraft classes, and trips to the Savusavu market. The Salt Lake kayak trip (extra fee) was a highlight for us, as was the rainforest hike to the Cascade falls: shoutout to our terrific guides Dan, Manu and Scott. The resort Spa is located up in the forest where one is surrounded by the sounds of birds and the stream below. I booked a massage, scrub and facial with Geeta that was simply heavenly. Last but not least, the restaurants at the resort were top notch. The menus change every day and feature a wide variety of local dishes, delicious continental fare, and always 1-2 vegetarian/vegan/gluton free options. During our eight day stay we were surrounded by beauty from the ocean, the rainforest, and every person on the staff. It was truly hard to leave but this enchanting vacation was restorative for our bodies, minds and souls.

The Koro Sun Resort was an absolutely fabulous travel experience for our honeymoon! The room, the staff, and the amenities were all wonderful, and we recommend this trip to any couple or family looking for a fun tropical vacation. We stayed in an Edgewater Bure and enjoyed breathtaking views of the water and sunsets. The hammock was absolutely our favorite place to sit/lay and enjoy the day. we also loved looking into the water at the marine life and the reef. We ordered the Honeymoon Package, which included a wonderful beach picnic and romantic dinner, and we highly recommend it. The activities at the resort were wonderful. The kayak tours, spa services, and smaller activities (like the fire show and basket weaving) were fun. The activities off-resort were great as well—the waterfall hike was great, as were the cocoa farm trip and the trip into town. The food was delicious. We appreciated placing our orders for lunch and dinner ahead of time, and we got our money’s worth out of the all-inclusive package. The meals at Palm Grove were all great, and the meals at Sand Bar were perfect for eating outside by the pool. Our best pieces of advice: things like alcohol, off-resort excursions, and trips via the dive shop will cost money. However, they're all generally worth it (although the alcohol was a little pricey). Bring water shoes! It's fun to poke around the water during low tide. But if you have sensitive feet, bring water shoes to make life much easier. There's plenty of wi-fi in the main areas of the resort but around the Villas/Bures, it's a little spottier. Also, the golf course isn't the best golf course, especially the last 3-4 holes. But it's fun to just pitch and putt around and walk around outside. We highly recommend this trip to any couple or family!

We stayed here for our honeymoon in a floating bure for 7 nights, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! The bure was beautiful, with views over the marina, and it was a tranquil and private space to relax! The staff were all super friendly, and went out of their way to make sure our stay was enjoyable! The room was clean, well-appointed, and comfortable. Close by was the Sand Bar providing access to food and drink for most of the day and evening, and the activity centre and dive shop next to it. Across the road is the main resort which stunning, manicured grounds, which were a pleasure to walk through and explore! I recommend this resort to anyone wanting to travel to this area!

I would like to preface this- Fiji is a BEAUTIFUL place and the people are so kind. Beyond all of the issues that arose on our trip, we generally found Fiji to be one of the most breathtaking places on this planet. My husband and I decided to visit Fiji for our honeymoon. We booked the Koro Sun Resort with the meal inclusive and honeymoon deluxe package through Costco Travel- it looked absolutely stunning from the listing online. It appeared online as if this resort was made for honeymooners. Upon arrival, there was only one adult pool with an out of service pool bar and a kids pool. Kids everywhere. Not honeymoon approved in my eyes. There are no white sand beaches on site, they are all rocky and a bit tricky to even walk to. The only soft, sandy beach we discovered was the one they took us on our beach picnic (part of the honeymoon package). If only I had known I would have reserved that day for the beginning of the trip, brought my swimmie and made a day of it, instead of on our last day before heading to the airport!!!!! Things like this, a minor detail left out, but all of the little things would add up and just were not communicated to us at all. Booking with Costco travel has always been a breeze for us and the Costco travel representative was enthusiastic about this place, saying that others have just been raving about it. Our expectations were high- we splurged on this vacation, got married days before leaving, and we had never been to Fiji before. Little did we know what we would be getting ourselves into. I have listed eleven points to which I wrote down to explain to a Costco travel representative. I am posting this review to Costco Travel and Trip Advisor because I feel this information could help other potential honeymooners out. I have submitted a claim through Costco Travel in attempt to get some compensation. We had multiple issues arise and I urge you to read the list below if you are considering booking through this resort. I would not reccomend this resort, knowing what I know now. 1. The listing is not as advertised. Not luxury, slight run down feel, burre is the main selling point and misleading for the rest of the resort. 2. deplorable golf course, overgrown, unmaintained and not organized- no sense of direction with tthe map provided. 3. no pool bar, only one small adult pool- even though there is seating iin the pool for one 4. rescheduled a dive shop at resort 3 times before getting to dive- inquired with dive shop Saturday (day of arrival) for Namena island reserve for 7 am Sunday: turned away due to "late booking and no assigned guide", rescheduled for 1030 and then turned away due to a training sessions in the pool. Then we were rescheduled for monday 8:30 at turtle alley and was told they would get us at breakfast- we checked with them after breakfast at 830 and they yard left without us. We were finally able to go at 1030 to turtle alley even though conditions were not ideal. 5. very minimal gift service shop, no food, cigars, etc 6. Although it is advertised, there is no wifi in the room, only in reception area and spotty throughout the resort. 7. minimal activities and extra charges required for nearly everything 8. If you want lunch or dinner, you have to order it by a specific time in the morning and dinner in the afternoon. We have the meal inclusive plan- meal inclusive plan is not all food inclusive, only $65 credit towards dinner at latitude 17 restaurant, espresso bar and beverages not included anywhere. 9. had to go into town for a wall plug adapter 10. food poisoning at the Sandbar Cafe (on site of the resort)- Do not order the ceviche, my husband and I were very sick. We really just wanted to go home at this point, though we did book flights though costco travel and felt stuck. Called Costco Travel to see about flying home early (due to being sick and frustrated with everything) but was told it would be $400-500 to leave early. We decided to stick it out, and the vacation became enjoyable after recovering from the food poisoning and traveler's diarrhea. 11. No late checkout as promised on Costco Travel with the deluxe honeymoon package. It states "1 pm late checkout", although we were told to check out at 10am due to our room being booked right after that.

We were picked up from the small airport and driven to Koro Sun. Staff were very welcoming. The apartment was fantastic. Large comfy King bed. Large shower with hot water and great view over the lagoon from EB BURE10. We could walk down the outside steps into the water to snorkel. I snorkeled in the lagoon every day. At times it was very shallow. Even saw rays , needlefish, a moray eel and black tip reef sharks( small) in the lagoon. We had to order our even meals in the morning so food could be pre ordered for the main restaurants. The best food was burgers was faster food from the lagoon cafe. There are water activities and an on site dive shop. Small boats take you out about 10 mins max to clear water dive sites. Lots of turtles, gray reef sharks, tThorougjly enjoyed our stay.

Loved it. The setting, the rooms, the staff - all were wonderful. It is a nice Fijian experience where everyone we met was friendly and authentic. We were met by Sam at the airport with his big friendly smile who organised our transportation across the island. It was disappointing that at the time of our stay the save savsu airport was closed and we had to bus over two hours to get to the resort versus the 15 minutes it could have been! Having said that it was a good overview of the island fauna. Is not a 5 star resort and I’m glad it’s not 😀 I prefer the authenticity. The staff are all locals from nearby villages and many are family. They all appear to appreciate and enjoy their work and we’re always happy. We chose to stay the whole time at the resort. The weather meant the water wasn’t as clear but we still really enjoyed the snorkeling, especially taking the boat out for the half day excursion with the knowledge and guidance from our dive master “Chapet” to the reef to snorkel. Happy to see at least 2 turtles a few shark and some awesome corals and tropical fish. To be honest when we were there the weather wasn’t what I was hoping for, it was lovely and hot but not full sunshine or blue skies. It did rain a bit and was often windy.but one can hardly blame the resort for this, we found other things to do We walked up the rain forest track one day. It’s a climb but not a real long walk, just steep in places but it was really lush and we never saw another soul . Loved the little yellow butterflies. On two different occasions I had devine massages at the rainforest spa. It is set at the lower part of the rainforest up a darling mosaic pathway ( lol slippery in the rain) the rooms are set on the banks of the stream amidst the trees of the rain forest -pretty tranquil Betty gave me the much needed deep tissue massage to work away the worries of the world at the start of our stay and on our last day to celebrate the new relaxed me, Geeta gave me a beautiful therapeutic massage that was a fabulous farewell There were places to spend time away from your room. In the main building there were large loungers, Also a library -I managed to read three books during our stay. Food options were good, we went to all the restaurants and tried different things each meal. Some food was excellent some average but there was plenty to eat and a variety of foods. I loved the concept of pre ordering so that the villages did not harvest more then was required to reduce wastage. I loved our room, in adult only area of resort. One side was the ocean the other side a small private pool. Clean comfortable lovely Fijian vibe.

Parts of our trip were fantastic-friendly staff, beautiful views, fun snorkeling trip organized by the dive shop. The restaurant food was good and plated beautifull. Bar drinks were good but service was very slow. Parts were so-so. We stayed in both a floating bure and the lighthouse. There are very few hangers and no drawers or shelves to unpack. Seemed to be plenty of room so why not add some storage space? What we were served was not always what was on the menu and there would be no explanation. I understand that expected supplies may not arrive but say something and maybe offer a new choice bIt is also necessary to check the bill and ask for an itemized receipt. We were on full board but frequently charged for lunch.
