It is the highest standard hotel I have visited.
We had a jacuzzi room and it was worth the extra! The balcony was amazing.
We had a few issues towards the start of the trip to do with the jacuzzi and also a confusion with an excursion however, the staff and manager went above and beyond to rectify the error. At the end of the day, mistakes happen but personally what I feel is important is how they are dealt with and the hotel couldn't have dealt with it any better so I have nothing negative to say!
The a la carte restaurants were top resturant quality, the beach gyros / burgers are also fab for lunch and the ice cream and creperie were delicious!
All the staff were amazing! The cocktails were also top quality, all freshly made to cocktail bar standard. My only piece of constructive criticism would be that sometimes there would be long waits receiving drinks as its all table service so we ended up ordering two at a time. It would be nice to have to option to que at the bar and get a drink to reduce wait time. Maybe that's just the British in me!
The hotel is well located, a 40 min walk onto heronissos or 10 min taxi and there are also two local villages up in the hills which are lovely for a night out.
All in all, this hotel is a top 5* resort and we felt so looked after and pampered, I would recommend. And we're going back this year, can't wait!

A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE THROUGHOUT
Mitsis Laguna is a fantastic hotel that has become a second home for my wife and I. We enjoyed our 7th visit there in October 2024 and as usual, were not disappointed. ALL staff from the wonderful reception team, guest services, restaurant staff, room service, bartenders, drivers, entertainment etc etc...

We enjoyed our 7th visit there in October 2024 and as usual, were not disappointed. ALL staff from the wonderful reception team, guest services, restaurant staff, room service, bartenders, drivers, entertainment etc etc are FANTASTIC, always smiling and helpful.
Food was fantastic, whether at kids pool, beach, main or themed restaurant and no fighting for a sunbed!
Facilities are great all round.
The best thing for me is the genuine friendliness of the staff who have become friends- I would like to name them all but I would not want to leave any out!
The general manager MICHALIS is approachable, knowledgeable and helpful, but it is the wonderful OLGA who always seems to solve any queries we may have. Thanks to Olaksander, Giorgis, Chrissa and the whole team on reception. Special thanks also to: Dimitris, Grigoris, Spiros, Johnny, Poppi, Fotini, Marinos, Marco and ALL STAFF IN THE THEMED RESTAURANTS.

Costas who looked after us whichever bar we were in, also Sotos, Llana, and Maria
The bar manager Adrias has an excellent team, and appears at every bar to ensure everything is perfect
Food quality, presentation and service were all excellent at the a la carte restaurants
We have been to this hotel 12 months ago and were surprised to find that the main restaurant was even better than last year
Reception staff and concierge always greeted you with a smile, Michalis was really helpful with everything

We had a wonderful time at Mitsis Laguna. Visually, it is stunning with the large Dome dominating the while resort. Bars and restaurants all have beautiful, instantly Instagram ready views. Whilst all this is amazing, what really elevates Laguna is the staff and service which is world class. The resort works so well, drinks are served quickly, cocktails are fantastic, as is the food - particularly in the restaurant's, which are of a high standard.
It's our second visit to Laguna and yes, we will definitely be back for another visit. Thank you to everyone there for making our stay so pleasurable.

This was the nicest and most enjoyable holiday. The whole place is amazing. The choice of food and drink throughout the day is incredible. We generally got up, sometimes went to the crêperie, then headed to the beach to have drinks from the beach bar from 10. Lunch at the beach bar is a must. We wandered back across in the afternoons for a drink in the bar before getting ready in the evening. A drink in the champagne and sushi bar before tea in one of the fabulous À La Carte restaurants generally ended each wonderful day.
You should book all the À La Carte restaurants as far in advance as possible to ensure you can get in.
There’s a nice walk round to Hersonissos along the coast should you wish to go out.
We were more than happy staying in the hotel by the beach or the pool.
The beach is quite rocky by the sea so sea shoes would be a great thing to take.
The hotel itself is stunning throughout. Loads of picturesque bridges over water, flowers, the place is maintained and decorated to an immaculate standard.
The room was stunning with everything you would need (short of an iron and ironing board is the only minor moan!)
Finally, the staff are what makes this hotel so fantastic. From checking in to checking out, every person we came into contact with was extremely friendly and as helpful as possible. The staff tend to remember you so after a few days knew your order. They work impossibly hard to make the stay fantastic. Rooms are made up each day to a spotless standard.
We have stayed in other Mitsis Hotels but now would only really feel the need to return here every year. It truly is an amazing place and deserves every bit of credit it receives.
In summary, this is the nicest hotel we have stayed in and had the most relaxing switch off for a week as a result of this. 10/10 will be back next year and many more to follow.
