Amazing hotel super great people. Great service from every department. We stayed here for a week and every employee was super nice and hotel is super clean. It’s right cross from the beach Patong and 5 mins away from Bangala street. You are in middle of everything busy area. If you’re looking for more calm beaches. This is not the area you want but also they have amazing beach and super crazy nightlife. This hotel is located to area where it never sleeps. Hotel is only 20 mins away drive from Caron and Kata beach which transportation is super cheap here. They have their own restaurants and it has very good food

Great beachfront hotel. Location, location, location. Situated in the middle of Patong the hotel could not be more central. Smiles and service are exceptional, which defines the overall hotel experience. 3 swimming pools, walking to beach, tasty breakfast buffet

We arrived at 11pm and it was if we arrived during the morning. Service was bright and inviting. The transfer from the airport was slick, rep was where they were and we didn’t wait for the ride. Rooms are cleaned spotless daily, along with the pool. Buffet breakfast has a massive variety, in an enclosed air con area. Plenty of room to relax and fill up. We had the room by the pool, air con is freezing and room is spacious for two. Great duel water pressure. We didn’t use the bath but it looks like you can fit an elephant in there. Good lighting with plenty of options to suit via wall remote in both sides of bed. Block out curtains are perfect for a mid day nap even better at night. Got coffee, massage, bars out front and it’s a good distance away from main Bangla road. We leave in two days and we’ve been allowed to leave bags at hotel when checking out and can use facilities like shower and toilet. Plus they are getting us airport transferred. Really enjoyed it so far as we have 2 days left. Highly recommended.

The hotel has a great location—very convenient, close to Patong Central, and right across from the beach. The breakfast is good, and the restaurant food is decent. However, the service is average, and some staff members were not very friendly. Unfortunately, my worst experience was being woken up at 2 AM by a stranger aggressively knocking on my door and screaming. It was a terrifying experience, and while I called the receptionist, the situation left me feeling very unsafe. Overall, while the location is great, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for families due to security concerns.

This is the place to get mojitos in Patong! The service is wonderful and the staff is very friendly. Both the food and the drinks are tasty. We got the passionfruit and strawberry mojitos, salmon steak, and chicken quesadilla. We very much enjoyed our multiple dinners here.

My stay at this hotel was truly exceptional, thanks to the incredible staff! From check-in to check-out, every member of the team went above and beyond to make my experience unforgettable. They were always friendly, attentive, and eager to help with any request, whether it was providing local recommendations or ensuring my room was perfect. It’s rare to encounter such genuinely caring people who make you feel so welcome. The hotel itself was also wonderful, with comfortable rooms and great amenities. But it’s the staff that really makes this place stand out. I’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a hotel where the staff truly makes a difference!

We had an amazing experience at Double Treeby Hilton Banthai for a very special occasion. We loved the facilities, rooms and location which was central to all the sites of Patong. Joffery the GM went above and beyond in assisting me arrange my proposal to my now fiancé! Joffery and his staff were so accommodating and excited to join in the surprise and we could not have been happier. We also had the pleasure of staying in the newly constructed villa which was amazing. Thank you to Joffery and all the staff at Double Tree Banthai Resort for your help and making it so special and memorable.

Although during our visit the property was going through an extensive renovation, the stay did not feel like the renovation was going on. The hotel staff were amazing and entertaining us they did well. We totally forgot the renovation was going on. The pool bar man Tom was super friendly...

Although during our visit the property was going through an extensive renovation, the stay did not feel like the renovation was going on. The hotel staff were amazing and entertaining us they did well. We totally forgot the renovation was going on. The pool bar man Tom was super friendly and chatty..fast on his feet too and got our orders sorted quickly. The Beer Bar at the beach front had a charming petite girl with the warmest smile, tried her 1000% to answer all my silly questions. Her name was Cream... and I found out the next day, she was an intern. Got to say she had a bright future ahead of her.

Going to do an in depth review because it helped me! We stayed for 7 nights. Overall the stay was great, we were in close walking distance to everything in Patong beach. Would stay again if we wanted to stay in the same area. Breakfast: Delicious every day! A few small things management may want to consider: 1. I wish there was apple juice everyday (in a 7 day stay I think it was there twice?) as I wasn’t a fan of the other juices. 2. The crepes and pancakes are always cold when you get to them as there is no heating lamp, might be something to look into or have them made fresh for people like the omelette station? Either way I had one and never had any more. I just ate other food so wasn’t a big deal! 3. I wish the custard bao buns (or whatever they were called) were there every day. They were delicious. (This is me being needy but they were so good and I’m sad they weren’t there my last day!) Hotel: The hotel looks dated in some parts but the room (at least what I stayed in) was lovely. Couldn’t fault the room at all! It was a bit odd the hotel lobby and breakfast is disconnected from the rooms, but we had someone show us around so was no issues at all. The gym always had a strong smell to it, I saw people cleaning the windows regularly but I do wonder if anything can be done about it? I am aware it’s a gym, it was just a bit off putting while we were there. Everywhere we went in the hotel the customer service was great not one negative interaction with any staff members! Room service did a good job cleaning the rooms and mostly did it while we were out as we pressed “make up room” when we were heading out for a little while (for lunch/ tour) Pools: They were a great temperature and the swim up bars were great If you go at night (well after the bar closes) you may have trouble getting a towel but we just opened a staff door to quickly grab one (could see through the door)- unsure if we were meant to (sorry)
