Excellent Bangkok stay at Okura Prestige
Quiet modern clean comfortable elegant . All staff excellent. Location convenient to shopping, dining, sky train. Striking architecture. Pool very nice..could use a few more loungers but space is a consideration. The same hotel in the US would cost 2 or 3times as much, and be worth it.
Where to begin , okura was always selected for the start and last end our journey itinerary in thailand. The hotel sets in a really good location, next-door to sky train station that connects through our Bangkok's domestic favorite spot . On service, The staff are flawless in their delivery...

The hotel sets in a really good location, next-door to sky train station that connects through our Bangkok's domestic favorite spot .
On service, The staff are flawless in their delivery ,very close in terms of personalization and overall experience as almost any of the world class properties .
Had such a high quality, varied and exceptional breakfast. Egg dishes made to order were perfect . There were loads of great food nearby the hotel but we loved to dine at here . Still impressed with the wagyu steak .
The hotel manager and hotel's crew called us by our name on the first day of our arrival was the nice touch .
One thing that cannot be forgotten about The okura is the hospitality of all the associates from the door man to the housekeeping team , They had a great job well done. Chapeau to the hotel manager and his team

Okura Prestige is a splendid hotel, well located close to shopping, nightlife, Lumphini Park and the sky train.
The public rooms are very attractive and appealing but I felt the atmosphere and ambience didn't continue when the lift doors opened on our corridor. It's a little cumbersome having to take two lifts to your room.
We enjoyed time by the spectacular swimming pool and breakfast, both Japanese and traditional, were good experiences.
Staff are very friendly and efficient.
Our room was large and well equipped, very clean and well maintained, maybe a little minimalistic in decoration giving more the appearance of a business hotel than a holiday hotel.
Our overall experience wasn't outstanding but it was good and on a par with several other 5 star Bangkok city hotels we've stayed at.

Even though the hotel was running full, you do not feel the crowd.
Stunning view from the swimming pool.
You do not hear any noise in the corridors leading to the rooms.
The GM is a real hotelier!
The only downside to me in the central command for lights and A/C next to the bed, where your choice of lighting is limited, and can be controlled only from one side.
Overall a great stay

Okura Prestige Bangkok had given us again a wonderful stay experience. Excellent service from the arrival at front door, enjoy the outdoor pool day and night, to daily clean up the room as always.
Although Bangkok is famous for street food and new coffee shop, but the buffet breakfast at Okura should not be skilled because it’s located at upper floor with Bangkok skyline view and of course their excellent services, choices of local cuisine, fruits, daily detox drinks, they don’t just provide fresh fruit juice, coffee and tea.
Our room has a bathtub with skylines view, it was wonderful to enjoy at night.
The location of Okura is convenient to go Bangkok local attractions easily by the sky train.

Dear Okura Prestige Bangkok Team,
I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks for the warm welcome you all provided during my stay. A special thank you
to the most visible and hardworking GM Mr. Hammer, who assisted us from the moment we arrived until my departure; your support made a significant difference.
I also want to express my gratitude to Ms. Boh, who took the time to come to the club lounge and check on us—your thoughtfulness was truly appreciated. Additionally, I am incredibly grateful to the Director of Rooms for the effort put into the beautiful room amenities and decorations that brought me to tears of happiness. Infinity pool is a paradise high in a concrete jungle of bangkok ,greatest experience ever. Staying at OPB was the best part of my birthday trip during my first visit to Thailand.
To all the staff OPB, Yamazato, the front desk, club lounge, the concierge, rooms division and the up and above team, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at OPB and promise to return, bringing my family along for a longer visit.
Thank you once again for everything!
Warmest regards,
MJ Hirota

This hotel is a true 5 star hotel. From the customer service to the food and the rooms, everything is truly exceptional. The breakfast buffet here is truly one of the best. I have ate at many 5 star hotel buffets and this one tops them all. The beds are extremely comfy and the rooms are a great size. There’s even a nice storage area for luggage that is perfect for keeping your stuff out of the room. There’s view from the room is even better. Nice view of Bangkok with a never ending skyline and a nice city garden. The amenities this hotel offers are top tier as well. We ate at yamazato here as well and it was amazing. The pool here, one of the best views in the entire city. Great location next to the sky train too. Hands down the best hotel I have ever stayed at

One of the best hotels I've stayed in.
Truly a great hotel. The service is 6* and having a choice of two restaurants for breakfast (one being Japanese) is a brilliant idea. The gym and swimming pool are excellent, the rooms restful and calming. This will be my first choice when I return to Bangkok.
A great hotel in the heart of Bangkok where you can visit the highlights with the skytrain and shop till you drop in walking distance with great staff, beautiful rooms and a very good breakfast ! This paired with a personal touch is why you should stay at the Okura.

The Okura Prestige Bangkok has become my go-to hotel after experiencing stays at many of the city’s major international brands like Hilton, Grand Hyatt, InterContinental, and others. Perfectly positioned next to Phloen Chit BTS station, it sits right in the heart of Bangkok, making it incredibly convenient to navigate the city.
The hotel’s facilities are outstanding. I particularly love the heated lap pool, the spacious, well-equipped gym, and the serene sauna and steam rooms. Breakfast here is a delight — the buffet spread is extensive and offers a wide variety of options. For those who prefer something more curated, there’s even the option to enjoy a beautifully prepared breakfast set at the Japanese restaurant, an excellent alternative to the usual buffet experience.
The rooms are generously sized, thoughtfully designed, and impressively quiet — a true hallmark of Japanese hospitality. Little to no traffic noise filters through, ensuring restful nights. The blackout curtains are a blessing for those mornings when you just want to sleep in and savor the plush comfort of the bed.
The staff embody warmth and professionalism. On one occasion, I encountered an issue with one of the facilities; the manager promptly reached out, offering a personal apology and clear explanation. It was a great example of thoughtful service recovery and left a strong positive impression.
All in all, The Okura continues to impress me with its consistent excellence. I wholeheartedly recommend it to both business and leisure travelers looking for a top-tier stay in Bangkok.

Why do people say Bangkok is Southeast Asian Tokyo?
As a globally renowned travel destination, Bangkok captivates visitors from around the world with its unmatched charm and a hotel industry marked by remarkable diversity—from the top-tier luxury of Aman Bangkok Nai Lert, to the "Chao Phraya River Four": Capella Bangkok, Four Seasons Bangkok, Mandarin Oriental Bangkok, and The Siam...
As a globally renowned travel destination, Bangkok captivates visitors from around the world with its unmatched charm and a hotel industry marked by remarkable diversity—from the top-tier luxury of Aman Bangkok Nai Lert, to the "Chao Phraya River Four": Capella Bangkok, Four Seasons Bangkok, Mandarin Oriental Bangkok, and The Siam Hotel, while further boasting prestigious names within the city such as The Ritz-Carlton, Rosewood, Waldorf Astoria, and Park Hyatt. Together, these establishments form an impressive matrix of accommodation aesthetics that dazzles the senses.
Amidst this universe of hotels, The Okura Prestige Bangkok stands out distinctly with its strong East Asian character. As the first luxury property of Okura-Nikko in Thailand, this urban oasis, opened in 2012, has established itself as a remarkable model of value in the heart of Bangkok. Stepping into The Okura Prestige Bangkok feels instantly reminiscent of entering the original Okura Hotel in Toranomon, Tokyo.
Notably, guests at The Okura Prestige Bangkok include a significantly high proportion of travelers from Japan and South Korea. This may stem from the longstanding reputation and recognition of the Okura brand throughout Japan and East Asia. Offering an almost perfect geographical location, the hotel enables convenient exploration of downtown Bangkok or easy access via public transport to all corners of the city. For such a prime luxury property, the daily base rate is only about CNY¥1,300+, roughly half that of the opposite-facing Park Hyatt and Rosewood, making its cost-performance ratio particularly outstanding.
Bangkok has been deeply influenced by Japanese and Korean cultures. Across the city, numerous buildings display distinctive East Asian styles. Developers have spared no expense in designing eye-catching façades that exude quality. Although some visible flaws and imperfections remain evident in certain street-level details, the Thais’ relaxed demeanor and free-spirited personality offer a sharp contrast to the reserved and restrained nature typical of Japan.
Tokyo and Bangkok are both world-famous travel destinations, each possessing unique charms of their own. Yet personally, I find myself more drawn to Bangkok. Here, the leisurely pace of life and the pervasive sense of happiness feel superior. Whether wandering through the streets and alleys or enjoying peaceful moments within hotel premises, one can truly experience an unparalleled sense of relaxation and joy.
