The staff truly set this place apart – everyone was so friendly, professional, and always greeted us with a smile. It really felt like every need was taken care of. A special shoutout to the front desk team and bell boy team, especially Andriana at check-in, who made us feel welcome from the start, and Anđela at concierge, who helped us plan our days and made excellent recommendations for activities.
If you're looking for a hotel where everything is at your fingertips and where you'll be treated like royalty, this is the place. We couldn't have asked for a better honeymoon experience!
Hvala svima na ovom nezaboravnom iskustvu!!

We started to vidit Radisson Dubrovnik, now San Gardens 10+ years ago. Every new booking and staying in this place is unique. Like good wine, years make it better and better. Everything is great and stuff is so kind and helpful, like old friends. Pools, beautiful beach, especially residential rooms, food
Recommendations are Butcher Grill restaurant and Pasta restaurant are two shine stars of San Gardens and whole Dubrovnik area. And Mr Vlaho in Butcher Grill is best manager in my whole food experience. Last night we had dinner, beef tartar (best we ever had), burrata mozzarella and carpacio with tomahawk steak and local wines Pošip and Dingač. Life is good with San Gardens🩵🔝🔝

A fabulous hotel and great location either for relaxing or exploring.
From the moment we arrived, we had excellent customer service. Our room was immaculate as was all areas of the hotel.
Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice and we didn’t have to queue at all. Drinks service at the pools and beach was always quick. Never an issue to get beds, sometimes we were the only ones at the outside pools.
The indoor pool floor was very slippery even with slippers on and could get busy, especially in the evenings.
We ate at most of the restaurants and the quality was excellent. We didn’t find it expensive for a 5 star restaurant and the service was fantastic.
Recommend getting the water taxi into old town Dubrovnik. Walking the walls was a great experience. The cable car was disappointing and wouldn’t do that again. The boat trip to Elafiti islands was good value for money and being picked up from the hotel marina was a bonus. Head into Bosnia to see beautiful places where food and drink is a lot cheaper.
We used Ubers to come back from Dubrovnik and to go into Zaton - very nice restaurants, authentic food and great to talk to local people. The cost of Ubers was very reasonable.
An excellent resort!

Large Friendly Hotel, 30mins outside of Dubrovnik

I couldn't rate 5 star, although excellent i didn't think it quite reached 5 due to some housekeeping and cleaning issues. The Hotel is part of Leading Hotels, i think maybe they just need to up their game slightly. Extremely friendly welcome at reception, always helpful. Bar staff very friendly too and pool staff. Room nice with balcony on second floor. Food at restaurants expensive, but again found this to be the case of most restaurants in Dubrovnik and speaking to other people they were of the same opinion a meal for two ranged between 100-150 euros and i don't drink alcohol! Quality of food good, pasta restaurant best value. Pool food not great. Spa very nice, ideal on a rainy day. The hotel bus transfer was 8 euro pp each way, I feel this should really be a free service due to location of the hotel out of town and for 5 stars.
My moans: The cups in our room were not cleaned, coffee was not always replenished so i had to call for more to be bought to the room. The balcony was not cleaned, table left dirty. I trod on a wine glass in the swimming pool luckily I think it was plastic I handed it into pool bar, stones/dirt in pool, area around pool not particularly clean either. The usual people putting towels on sunbeds and not turning up till Lunch time, should not be allowed. Coffee machines at breakfast broke most mornings, creating large queue for coffee.
Overall good holiday, large hotel, Friendly.

This resort is simply spectacular. It is quite large. We had a long walk to our one bedroom apartment — but well worth the walk. The view from our bedroom was breathtaking. The room was comfortable and the bathroom had the finest fixtures. Kitchen was like new and both living room and bedroom opened onto a spacious veranda. Huge selection of restaurants. Great gym and tennis facility. All five star. We will definitely return

Second time at Sun Gardens and it was just as good as we remembered, if not better. Every little detail was perfect - the turn down chocolates and water, the lovely bath robes, the stunning views and sheer selection of pools, restaurants and facilities. The pizza at La Pasta is some of the best I have ever tasted and we had the best day just lounging by the pool and feeling completely relaxed. The grounds are so lovely and you really can switch off from it all. Breakfast was fab and I can’t understand why anyone would say otherwise. Roll on our next visit in 2025.

In the bathroom I think it woul be better to have the shower controls somewhere else rather than directly under the showerhead. It is not pleasant to have cold water pouring over you while you are trying to turn the shower on.
In general we were happy with our accommodation and the fact that it was very quiet.
Everything high quality and well equipped. Restaurants served excellent food though expensive and little nearby competition.

Lovely hotel with outstanding service. We went as a couple for a week in September to celebrate our wedding Anniversary and we were very impressed with the facilities and service at this hotel. We upgraded to a club room & the breakfast on the roof terrace was a definite highlight of our stay. The ladies serving on the terrace are so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. One day we had storms and breakfast just for club rooms was moved to floor 0 with the same menu & service plus the option to use the buffet which was a bonus as we were expecting to have to use the normal hotel breakfast. The hotel presented us with gifts of chocolate, wine & canapés for our anniversary. The room was lovely and bright with a stunning view of the hotel grounds, sea and islands. We ate a few times at the hotel and food was excellent but maybe a little pricier than we are used too. The club lounge has a great selection of wines, beer, spirits & soft drinks and afternoon tea between 5-6pm. We used a mixture of hotel transport, local buses & Ubers to get to the old town & Zaton. Local buses go from outside the hotel and reception can give you a timetable. It’s 2 euros 50 to the old town but make sure you check where to get off as we went too far. A fabulous place to stay & I hope we get to go back one day.
