An amazing experience form start to finish. This hotel is superb, The Staff are the best I've ever encountered, nothing is too much trouble for them. The rooms are very clean and modern, the views are stunning. Nice chocolates with turn down service. Thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast, anything you can think of for breakfast was available with hot food cooked to order. Whilst we didn't eat there in the evening as we had other arrangements, we had lunch several times, each time it was superb, beautifully presented with every mouthful a taste explosion. Also thank you very much for the nice surprise of a birthday cake left in the room for my husband. Will definitely be back.

This hotel is simply perfect. The staff, the setting, the ambiance - it's all stunning. I was moved to tears by the view from our balcony when we arrived. All of the people who work here are lovely and can't do enough for you; service is friendly and attentive yet discreet. It all appears effortless. Breakfast is fantastic and kept us fuelled for a full day of sightseeing. There is a huge choice of buffet items as well as hot food that is cooked to order. We were lucky enough to enjoy some sunshine during our stay and my favourite part of the day was having breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea, watching the boats potter about on the horizon. It's about 15 minute's walk down a gentle hill into the Old Town along a fairly walkable path, so easy access to daytime sightseeing and evening restaurants. We ate in the hotel's restaurant Vapor one night and the experience was beautiful; the wine recommended by the waiter was spot on to compliment the dishes we chose. There are a few restaurants within walking distance up the hill, too. The beach at the bottom of the hotel has public access but there is a terrace with sun loungers and beach towels for use by hotel guests. We spent a couple of hours here on our last day and it was peaceful and relaxing. Thank you to Hotel Bellevue for an absolutely incredible stay, that we will not forget for a while!

We booked a short break via the BA website. Four nights gave us three full days in stunning Dubrovnik. We wouldn't normally go for this type of modern medium sized hotel - usually preferring something more rustic and intimate and perhaps a bit cheaper - but we're delighted we did. Our room was fabulous, the staff were absolutely first class, and the breakfast really was superb. Fine weather meant we were able to eat out on the terrace with its stunning sea views. We found that two days was sufficient to do most of the must see sights in and around Dubrovnik giving us a whole day to relax on the hotel's small beach with complimentary sunbeds and towels. We even had a swim in the sea - in October! The hotel is situated just outside the old city walls away from the crowds less than a 15 minute walk to the main Pile gate. We had such a wonderful time here!

What a treat from start to finish. A beautiful modern feeling hotel built onto a cliff side, overlooking a sheltered bay. We booked a superior room with a balcony. It was cool, and we happily spent many an evening sitting out watching the sunset. My partner lay out on the private terrace most mornings. (The complimentary mint water was delicious). There is a public beach beside the terrace. Great for people watching 👀 A short walk into Dubrovnik meant we had some lovely meals in town. (Nautika was simply divine..) We walked in and back every day. Dubrovnik itself was charming and beautiful. Luckily, in October, we never struggled for restaurant bookings, etc. Overall, our holiday was five stars, and we happily recommend Bellevue!

What a great hotel! Right on the water with awesome views and a small beach, The staff are great (all of them), the food wonderful - the breakfast is worth staying for of its own, the rooms spacious, well stocked, quiet and comfortable beds. Its pricey (for good reason) so look out for good deals like BA Holidays as we did. Only downside is that there isn't an outdoor pool (other than the Adriatic!) so when not suitable for sea swimming there isn't an outside option - but only a minor point. The spa is good although quite expensive in comparison to other hotels we have stayed at. Best place to stay in Dubrovnik.

This is how all hotel experiences should be. From the second we arrived everything was incredible. Started with a free upgrade to a room with a balcony and the reception staff were smiling and welcoming. Then to be told everything was included - the beach, the pool, and breakfast - made us very happy!! All staff were so happy to do whatever it took to be accommodating. Breakfast was amazing - so much choice - with amazing sea views and the beach restaurant food was fantastic. The room was spotless - honestly the cleanest hotel room I can remember. And it was so tastefully done. The beach itself was in a little cove with the most beautiful water. Perfectly located, just a 20 minute walk into the old town! All in all, 10 out of 10 in every way!

We stayed here for four nights while in Dubrovnik and highly recommend this hotel! We were in a Deluxe room (definitely book the larger room vs the standard size), which we found to be luxurious, comfortable and relaxing. We had the most wonderful view of the Adriatic Sea from our room. The staff here was fantastic - the concierge Andrea was knowledgeable and helpful and really made our trip better. She's a real asset to this hotel. We thought the food was delicious (breakfast, room service, beach service and Vapor restaurant for dinner). The excursions provided by ALH are wonderful - we booked a full day private boat ride of the Elaphiti Islands and a day trip to Montenegro. Definitely book through the hotel versus a private vendor. And, lastly, I had a spa treatment, which was one of the best I've had.

From the moment we checked-in, we realised that we had booked the best hotel. Cool, clean lines and slick 'scandi' furniture, it's the epitome of modern, chic design. On arrival, the staff were excellent – warm greeting from Ivana on reception and our bags were speedily conveyed to our room. Our room had bright, airy and contemporary furnishings and, as we discovered the following morning, beautiful sea views. Breakfast buffet was lavish and cooked items were available on request. Again, all staff were exemplary; smiley efficient and friendly – a special thanks to Slaven Bilic, the pride of Hajduk Split! The hotel has its own luxury pool and is adjacent to a private beach, with attached bar and cafe serving delicious light meals. The walk into Dubrovnik was fine, but the road is busy and narrows to a single path. Not recommended in 36ª heat. No. 4 bus was a bonus for the return, uphill trek. In the evenings, the terrace bar was a relaxing spot to enjoy a cold drink with live and varied musicians. Pavo, in particular was very good with keeping the drinks coming, not that we needed much encouragement and the views at dusk are stunning. Sad to leave, but would love to return – thanks to everyone at Bellevue

We stayed 3 nights in the beginning of September and were very pleased with our stay. We experienced a warm welcome and had our room made ready in 30 minutes even though we arrived at 10 a.m. Everyone in the staff were very friendly and helpful and made sure that anything we asked for did not feel too troublesome. The food was very much to our liking, especially the tasting menu we had for dinner one evening. The room was quite small but had everything we needed. Only the sound proofing could be better - you could hear practically everything from the corridor. Other than that, with the friendly atmosphere making up for the lacknof sound proofing, we were very happy with our stay in Hotel Bellevue.

Last August we stayed at Hotel Bellevue, and it impressed us so much that we decided to return this August for a longer stay. It certainly didn't disappoint... When we arrived into reception mid morning we were greeted by the lovely Ivanka. We explained that we had stayed last summer and had loved it, and she seemed genuinely delighted that we had chosen to come back. We didn't expect our room to be ready for us (the check in is usually mid afternoon) but we were pleasantly surprised that we were able to check in straight away. After lunch down by the pool, we later returned to our room to find a personalised note thanking us for choosing to come back to Bellevue, alongside a gift of sweet treats. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. If you can stretch to booking a balcony room it really is worth it. We stayed in room 308 (last year we were in 309!) and it has a beautiful view across Bellevue beach below and the crystal waters of the Adriatic. All of the hotel staff made us feel incredibly welcome and it is obvious how much they care about making your visit the best that it can be. Ivan and his team (in particular Roberto and Alen) were friendly, engaging and hospitable, as well as General Manager Sanela who took the time to ask us if everything was okay. Towels in the rooms are changed daily, and every evening at 7.30pm you can expect a gentle knock on the door with a few "sweet dreams" chocolates. You are spoilt for choice when it comes to the breakfast. I have never seen such an array of different food and drink available in the buffet area, as well as the "cooked to order" choices which are brought out by waiting staff to your table. The hotel has its own lift to Bellevue beach. It has to be noted that this is a public beach and I suppose a minor disappointment was that on our previous visit last year, the hotel's own sun loungers had been put onto the smaller/quieter part of the beachside, which gave it a more exclusive feel. Yet this year they were simply stacked up against the side. We assume that the hotel can no longer solely claim this section of the beach and have been told to be mindful of the fact that it is for the public. Having said this, there is a designated area for the hotel's loungers on the terrace with steps leading to the beach and it is close enough (just a few yards) for a dip in the sea, and is equally great for people watching! The level of service offered means that this is never going to be a budget holiday but if you want to treat yourself and be completely indulged, I couldn't imagine a better place to be.

We just finished a four night stay at Hotel Bellevue. The hotel is wonderful, the service was excellent across all areas - the front desk, the restaurant, beach bar, the Vapor bar and the cleaning staff. We stayed in a beach front suite and the room was perfectly appointed. Small by American standards but plenty of room and amenities for us. The location of the hotel is perfect as it is a 15 min walk to old town. The beach at the hotel is crowded but stunningly beautiful. There are plenty of sun beds for hotel guests only and you just walk from the sun deck down to the beach. Highly recommend!
