Avoid the studio suites at all costs

We stayed at Spring Creek Ranch in February 2025. The facility is beautiful and you cannot beat the views. The majority of the staff we interacted with were friendly.
We booked a studio suite and while it was clean, it is dated with cracks in the tiles, dirty decorative pillows and blankets, and I could tell they didn't wash the shower curtain based on some blood on it.
The in-room fireplace was amazing and the big glass door that went out to the patio were our favorite parts of the room. The living room was very cozy and the couch was comfortable.
The worst part of the studio suite, however, was the fact that you have two larger units above you. It was ridiculously loud having 12+ trample around in ski and snow boots at 6am. We could hear every door open, slam, and literally every step they took. I'm a deep sleeper and all the noise woke me up at 6am and when they got back at 11pm both days.
Can't fully blame the other guests - but the hotel really needs to add some insulation between the units. That would help the noise issue tremendously.
If you're going to stay here as a couple, I'd recommend splurging for one of the larger rooms on the top floor. I asked, and the property doesn't have any studio rooms on a top floor.

We booked for the 2 hour ride. We were very concerned about all the smoke and breathing it in. We called more than 24 hours prior to our ride and expressed our concerns. We were told cancellation policy is 48 hours prior to ride (which we understood but when it comes to health there should be some exceptions) they offered to change our ride to the 1 hour in the afternoon when it was usually less smoky but we would be charged same price!
They lied to us and said visibility was good, you could see nothing! All we did was inhale smoke for 2 hours and all the dust from everyone riding in front of us. They also advertise they wipe down saddles after each ride. As soon as we sat on the saddles our pants were DIRTY!!! Unfortunately this was the only stable still open. We went 5 years ago with another stable and it was 10 times better.

the property sits in a beautiful location but a $500 room doesnt get you any view at all. And the room looks like a time travel back to 1990 in a bad way.
The carpet, bedding, sofa, kitchen all look super outdated and not very clean. And i suspect the bed is just a pull out sofa bed. We understand summer is a busy/peak season for the area but the room really doesnt justify a $500 a night price tag. And there's no house keeping service during the stay though they do offer clean towel/trash collecting. Also, AC is not working.
The breakfast is not ideal s well - coffee tastes like water and everything in the breakfast box is pre-made from the store.
Just to have a comparison - for the same price $500/night, jackson lake lodge which is closer to yellowstone park with stunning mountain view from the lobby has an update room with decent food option.

Miriam was great to work with in the planning and implementing, and was so gracious about working through changes to help create the best experience for us. We had two catered meals during our stay - one was delivered to the patio of one of the homes we rented, and we were able to dine outside with a fabulous view of the Tetons. Jack the banquet supervisor and Jayson the head chef were great to work with. It was all delicious, but the Huckleberry Bread Pudding was the talk of the weekend :)

We stayed in one of the condo suites with 2 bedrooms. Our balcony had a full view of the Grand Teton. We had a mini refrigerator and washer/dryer that were both very handy in saving us some money since this was the second week of our vacation. The room was very comfortable, only wish it had chairs to sit and relax inside by the fire. All of the staff were amazing, attentive, kind, and helped with anything we needed. We had some trouble with the wifi access our last night and with one phone call it was fixed within 30 minutes. Pamela was so helpful in making reservations for tours and activities and helped us with our decision to extend our stay from 3 nights to 8 nights working to make sure we were able to stay in the same room. They do have a lovely pool area and a service for food for breakfast and lunch. The food was great with the limited menu. We did take 3 horseback rides at the ranch. Hannah was an amazing guide on the horseback rides and gave us really good recommendations of places to eat and things to do while we were in the area. We loved the location of the ranch up the hills just a few minutes out of Jackson. It was so quiet, not crowded, with spectacular views. It was truly a wonderful trip and stay, it was hard to come home. We will be going back!
