So great to be back. The apartments are in the best location right opposite Town beach making a swim or a walk super easy. They are very large and well appointed with very comfy beds. We stayed in 506 on the sub penthouse level with stunning sea views and we were lucky to see whales and dolphins from the apartment. The rear balcony looks out to the cricket green and Oxley beach, so with front to back light. Jenni, Barry and Danny are very welcoming and helpful. Port MacQuarie itself if amazing. This visit we got up at 5.30 most days for a sunrise walk all the way to Lighthouse beach - by 8am we'd done our day's exercise and could enjoy coffee and breakfast and a day touring or relaxing. The drive up to Big Brother Lookout and the walk out to Periductular Point were local highlights.

We've just enjoyed another wonderful stay at Sandcastle. The apartment had beautiful views overlooking Town Beach and had everything we needed. The staff are very friendly and helpful, nothing was ever too much trouble. Handy access to restaurants, cafes and the beautiful coastal walk. Look forward to coming back again...

Excellent location opposite Town Beach. Accommodation is very comfortable, spotlessly clean and filled with natural light. Hosts Jenni and Barry are welcoming and helpful including providing lots of tips on where to eat and visit in the area. We would certainly return.

What an amazing place to stay at Port Macquarie. You are right on the beach and your views of the ocean, and the beach are absolutely uninterrupted. You feel a part of all the beach activity watching the surfers, the swimmers, the walkers and the Beach Goers. You can walk across the road to walk along the Ocean Walk which is sooooo good. And walking into town takes 10 minutes. The location is perfect. The unit has oodles of space and absolutely everything you need. If we come back, we will stay here again without a doubt.

Fantastic stay.

Sandcastle apartments are in a fantastic location with direct access to the coastal walkway, beach, town CBD, restaurants etc. The views are stunning and the apartments very well appointed. The staff are very helpful and friendly. We would recommend Sandcastles when staying in Port Macquarie and will stay here again.

Absolutely fantastic unit (No Stairs they have lifts) and the views were out of this world. It is a flat walk to the shopping centre along the river. Or walk out of the back door to the bowling club that serves food to die for.

Our latest trip was the 2nd time we have stayed at Sandcastles Apartments and it didn't disappoint! Beautiful apartment with gorgeous views of the beach! Staff were super friendly, very informative of the local area and attractions, including new restaurants etc. Would definitely recommend this amazing place!!!

We’ve been going to sandcastles for over ten years. Usually twice a year. We’ve stayed in various apartments over that time. Each and every apartment we’ve stayed in has been extremely well equipped with a great kitchen, Comfortable dining and lounge settings and very comfortable beds and bedding. The cleanliness is without reproach. We particularly enjoy the higher apartments as the views from these are extensive in 180 degrees taking in both the beach and canal as well as the hinterland and coastline The foyers and lifts are also very well maintained and clean. It’s always a pleasure staying at Sandcastles.

Fantastic spot that we keep coming back to! close to everything, easy to park in the undercover lockable garages and move your gear into a lovely unit with amazing views. Now whilst the guys managing Sandcastles are great, Lisa described Jenni as an absolute delight.

Having stayed in numerous places in Port Macquarie over many years, we are so happy to have discovered Sandcastle Apartments. We were warmly welcomed by Danny, who gave us a tour of the building and pointed out the essential things we needed to know about, and offered help with advice regarding local attractions if we needed it. The apartment (207) was clean, spacious and had lovely views of the beach and ocean; also it is just across the road from the beach. A lovely restaurant, The Stunned Mullet, is on the street front, it would have to be one of the best in Port. We thought it good value for money and will return.

We (two couples) stayed at Sandcastles Apartments between 10 and 17 February 2024. As usual the entire experience (booking to departure) was excellent. This time we dealt with Jenni and Baz. Wonderful people who happily provide guidance regarding places to visit, eat, fish, swim etc. and explained the facilities very patiently. The apartment itself provided excellent views of the beach and was immaculately maintained. We had a wonderful time and look forward to our next stay at Sandcastles.

A wonderful surprise - such a large comfortable apartment with the sea views that are advertised. Warm welcome from Jenni and exceptional orientation of all the information you need to navigate parking, lifts, appliances in the apartment etc. A real treat for our short stay in Port maquarie.

We love staying at Sandcastles Port Macquarie, so much so that over the past several years we have stayed at least once every year. It is a large apartment complex directly across from Town Beach, and is a mixture of permanent residences and holiday accommodation. The complex is well managed by Danny, Jenny and Barry who are all very friendly, welcoming and helpful. We have stayed in a few apartments across the complex and while the furnishings may differ they have all been very comfortable and clean, nicely presented and all have had that amazing view across the water. With a lift that takes you directly to your individual apartment, unloading your luggage is easy and you feel very secure. And you can't go past the views that hit you in the face the moment you walk into the apartment - sensational! Highly recommended.

The bowling club is literally out the back door although we opted for some fresh seafood in town.
