Had the best stay! Beach was on Grace Bay and beautiful. It had plenty of seating and was not crowded at all. The property was really nice too with pools that ran throughout the resort. It was very quiet, there was mostly adults and not too many kids which was nice. The room was spacious and comfortable and was nicely cleaned every day. The staff was super friendly and accommodating and was always checking in to make sure we were enjoying our stay. There is a good restaurant on the property which is good if you’re looking for a simpler meal and provided happy hour every day from 5-7. The location of the hotel is walkable to all the good restaurants or just a short cab ride away. We had no complaints and are looking forward to going back!

Wonderful. Place was beautiful, and low key. Restaurant was excellent. Great staff and service. Our 2nd story one bedroom in building 2 had a nice view of the ocean Would definitely go back there again! Other guests were friendly and pleasant to be around.

Every morning the beach staff have been very accommodating in assisting us with umbrellas and side tables! It’s all the little things that add up to help make this a very enjoyable experience! Well managed resort. The staff made everything from check in to check out easy. The entire facility was clean, well kept and exceptional service. Beach chairs, umbrellas and towels were provided for guests. The resort had 2 pools, hot tub, restaurant and poolside bar. It was relatively quiet through out our 3-day stay. There were many restaurants, shops and resorts that were walkable (a long walk but walkable. I would definitely come back again and highly recommend TWI.

Our one bedroom suite was spacious and had a beautiful view! The staff was super nice and the food at the Pelican bay restaurant was consistently delicious. I was so excited to have a full sized oven and fridge so I could reheat my leftovers and genuinely make myself at home! However, as soon as we turned on the oven, the German cockroaches showed up. We called the front desk and they came and sprayed but I had lost my appetite for the rest of the trip. Also the wifi is the worst I have ever experienced and I have been all over the world. This place has so much potential but next time we go to Turks we will likely stay somewhere else.

Awesome. Great suite, great staff, great location. We booked online and all was as promised. Beach was terrific, lounging was great. Hot tub at the quiet pool area was a social center. Restaurant was great, food and staff were both excellent.

My husband and I enjoyed our time at West Indies. Everything was clean and well maintained. The ladies at the front desk were helpful and kind. They had my room information ready, and check-in was a breeze. Each room is individually owned so each room is different. I had an Oceanview in building three, the view was ok. If you really want to see/hear the ocean building one is the place to be. Our shower was small, and I wish the shower head was removable because the shower was so tight. The beach was beautiful, and our server Richie was great! It was a pleasant surprise to have beach waiter service. Great time at a great place

The staff is super affable and the grounds are nice. We also loved the fact that it is pretty much a condo with a stove and refrigerator. There were plenty of spaces at beach. My rating applies to a few things that affected the trip: 1. Restaurant closed for reservations, so they should have had a free shuttle service into the main center to accommodate. 2. Room should have a dust broom and dustpan for sand /dirt, 3. No saucepan nor spatula. 4. Water 2 dollars; it is almost 100 degrees and we have to pay for water.? No bubbler nor cooler? 4. The biggest issue for me was the horrible manure fertilizer smell that permeated the property. I could not sit by the pool nor on the patio because the smell was so strong and literally turned my stomach.

Excellent resort! We cannot wait to return! This was our first time staying at the Royal West Indies and this will definitely be our new go to place to stay! This was our 12th visit to the island and we have stayed at multiple different hotels/resorts and this is definitely our new favorite place for the price, such a great value! The grounds are so beautiful and well maintained, the pools were beautiful and I loved that there is an adults only pool and jacuzzi. We booked an ocean front studio and the room was very nice with a large balcony and amazing views! Our room also had a brand new bathroom which we were not expecting, so that was an added bonus. The beach was perfect as Grace Bay Beach always is and I actually love this location on the beach, you can easily walk to the end of Grace Bay Beach and the beginning of Leeward Beach, very beautiful. All of the staff we encountered were super friendly and welcoming and although the restaurant was temporarily closed for renovations during our stay, they did coffee and pastries in the lobby in the morning and a beach bar with great happy hour prices in the afternoon! We always rent a car so we weren’t bothered by the closed restaurant, and we did walk down the beach to flamingo cafe once for lunch and once for dinner and it was excellent! Great food and even better views! (It is just past club med). Overall we absolutely loved it here and cannot wait to return!

My wife and I wanted to go on a beach vacation so we called Mike Peruggia at Great Escapes Travel. Mike set us up at a wonderful resort in Turks and Caicos – The Royal West Indies Resort in Grace Bay. Great Escapes Travel got us a waterfront room, and transfers to and from the airport at this wonderful resort. We stayed in room 134 which was building one, floor three, room four. The room was clean and beautiful with great air-conditioning and had sliders to a terrific balcony that overlooks the ocean and the fireworks display which takes place a little further up the beach. There is also has a fantastic restaurant called Pelican Bay, which offers great food, and an outdoor bar by the pool complete with happy hour. On Sunday night there was live music, which was fantastic. On the beach there are plenty of lounge chairs with umbrellas so you can soak in the sun and get into the water quickly when you want to cool off. To walk into Grace Bay you can bike or walk the road or walk the beach - the bikes are provided by the resort. We had breakfast in Grace Bay at Julian‘s deli, Cassius bakery and island Scoop. Breakfast at Pelican Bay was excellent too! We also had dinner at Yoshis and at Rickey‘s Flamingo Club. Rickey‘s is a beach restaurant which has a real tiki bar atmosphere. There was live music there and that was fantastic. Our transportation was set up through vacation express /TCI escapes and their telephone number is 649–9 46–5004. The two drivers we had were professional, and their luxury SUVs were large, clean and comfortable. If you’re thinking of booking a trip, I would recommend Mike Peruggia at Great Escapes Travel, we book with Mike often and he never disappoints.
