Each room here comes with a butler and concierge. Every day they will come in and clean your room at night they offer a turndown if you want it. The view are breathtaking. We came 3 years ago. We love to come visit and stay at the windsong. Close to downtown shopping.

I'm writing this review on the airplane back to the US, that's how impressed we were with the Windsong Resort, and most importantly want anyone looking to know definitively- this is your spot! This is hands down the cutest, most luxury-boutique resort on Turks & Caicos. There is no where else I saw while exploring the island (Ritz, Palms, Beaches, etc.) that could compare to this place. The Bight Coral Reef is literally 20 steps into the water. This is the perfect place for couples, small children, small groups to explore the beauty of the ocean in a calm, controlled environment. Everything you need is provided, you just show up and are in awe of the natural wonder that is Turks & Caicos. WIndsong is like the front door to adventure and relaxation. When you arrive you're surrounded by the lush, beautiful landscaping that carries throughout the entire property. Check-in you are given a delicious welcome drink, and a private butler escorts you personally throughout the resort to give you all the little details and extras you'll need to know when staying... definitely not a "here's your key, elevators to the left" type of mega resort. We stayed in a 1 bedroom oceanfront suite, and I can tell you it was more spectacular that even the photos appear. We just wanted to sit on our balcony forever. The rooms are incredibly spacious, have everything you need: refrigerator, induction stove, robes/slippers, BVLGARI shampoo and conditioner, and the most incredible decor that signals relaxation. Even the TV nightly had all our favorite apps plus live TV from the US (we were watching some playoff basketball!) Everything was clean and modern. We were so surprised at the nightly turndown service. Every meal we had at the resort was delicious, you may choose to not leave at all and can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner. We did venture out to other places (SomeWhere Cafe next door was solid) and had good food everywhere we went. Do not miss happy hour and a sunset meal on the rooftop restaurant, Pelago. The Gnocchi was spectacular as was the Hamachi tiradito!! Try those! Wiskey, the bartender will make you incredible cocktails. PRO TIP: do not miss out on the Quick Cuisine on the 4th floor of the new building.. we stayed in that building, so it was such a delight to grab a nice cup of coffee and breakfast in the morning, a 20 second walk from our room. They have a continental breakfast there, but we opted to swap for the Croissant Breakfast Sandwich twice (bacon egg and cheese), unbeliveable..and also the Eggs Benedict... you can swap out the Ham on the Eggs Benedict for avocado, which was the way to go... a poached egg, atop avocado, on a toasted english muffin... please try! On top of all this, the beach is world class.. ranked #1 in the world 10 years in a row... and Windsong provides everything you need: beach chairs, umbrella's, rapid service right from your chair for wonderful margaritas, fish tacos, etc. The floating discs were a hit, along with the stand up paddle boards, sailing in Hobie Cats, and more. Note: you do not have to save a beach chair or fight for anything here. There are ample amounts of beach chairs for all guests..we've been places where as soon as the pool deck or beach opens, people have a mad dash ... this doesn't happen, it's such a breath of fresh air. The major highlight was the accessibility into the snorkeling.. it's just right there. My wife and I would sun bathe, then float in the discs, then snorkel for 20-30 minutes, repeat... we must have snorkeled 4-5 times a day. There are sea turtles right there underwater, and on our last day, on majestic sea turtle decided he wanted to come up for air one foot from me.. I got to see this guy above the water taking air, and then going back down..blown away! We're coming back asap and bringin our three little kids with us next time. I can't thank the staff enough, a very well-run organization. Do not pass this one up!

Beautiful beachfront swim up suite. Room is fantastic and you can’t beat the view. The bartender, Whisky, at Pelago was amazing. Fancy drinks made from scratch based off of a few ingredients we gave him. Well balanced and tasted delicious. Ended up ordering a second round they were so good they were Michael Jackson good (a-hee, heeee! shamone-ah!!)

Second time here, will be coming back. The staff is nothing short of amazing and I mean ALL staff. Location is simply fabulous if you want a nice laid back vibe! They have an abundance of restaurants and the breakfast at JoJo’s cafe is pretty sweet. Thank you Windsong!!

Loved our experience at Pelago - the rooftop restaurant at Windsong on the Reef. Absolutely beautiful view and the ambiance was superb. My wife and I went for their Valentine's Day dinner package. It was pricey, but the food, service, and live music were all on point!

Incredible service from all staff but especially Aleah,Nellie, Horace and Ruth! Everyone was so helpful and friendly. The room was spacious and well furnished with a full kitchen. The grounds were beautiful. The food delicious and we loved the wine pairing dinner on the roof top. The only negative thing was the cost,SO expensive

We recently stayed at Windsong Resort and had a mixed, but overall positive experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with rum punch and a cool damp towel, which was a great touch after traveling. The front desk and concierge staff were helpful, friendly, and set a strong first impression. The room itself was excellent. Very clean and well equipped with a full kitchen, washer and dryer, dishwasher, iron, and safe. We had an ocean view balcony, which was a big plus. Housekeeping did a great job with daily cleaning and turndown service, which we appreciated. The pool situation was a bit misleading. The resort advertises two pools, but one is essentially dedicated to the swim-out units and not really usable unless you’re staying in one of those four rooms. The main pool is on the smaller side and wasn’t heated during our stay, which made it less enjoyable. That said, there was plenty of seating available around the pool. The beach is smaller but very nice and not overcrowded. If you want a cabana, you need to get out early to secure one. The reef is right there, which is a big advantage, but they do charge for snorkel equipment, so it’s worth bringing your own if you have it. Beach service was noticeably better than pool service. The gentleman setting up chairs was very friendly, but the staff handling life vests and water equipment came across as rude. Service overall was inconsistent. Some staff members, like the breakfast hostess and waiter, were warm and welcoming, while others felt less engaged. Dining was probably the biggest disappointment. We tried Caribbean night and found it overpriced for the quality. In general, lunch and dinner options were underwhelming, especially considering the cost. We’d strongly recommend leaving the resort for meals or picking up groceries if you can. Overall, we would return, but with adjusted expectations. Windsong is a solid 4-star resort, not a 5-star. With improvements to food quality, consistency in service, and adding or upgrading pool options, it could get there.

A Peaceful, Low-Key Escape with Thoughtful Comforts

This was our first time to Turks and Caicos so we selected Windsong Resort based upon the good reviews that it received. Windsong is a great choice if you’re looking for a quieter, more low-key escape rather than a high-energy, activity-packed resort. The atmosphere is calm and relaxed with no loud music blasting during the day, which makes it ideal for unwinding. The property itself is on the smaller side, and so is the beach. There’s only one row of chairs and umbrellas on the beach along with a some cabanas mixed in helping keep the beach relaxing and calm. But if you'd like a chair on the beach, you'll need to get there early to pick a spot. If you enjoy snorkeling and you have your own gear definitely bring it. The resort does rent snorkel gear but we found it helpful to bring our own since they cannot provide equipment if there was a red flag, understandbly. We also brought a float which was helpful with snorkeling. The Bight Reef (Coral Gardens) is right in front of the resort and is a must if you want to see colorful fish, turtle, stingrays, and coral. We even saw a lobster 🦞. Rooms are well-equipped, featuring a washer/dryer and a convenient kitchenette with a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, keurig, and a personal sized blender. Building 4 is the newest and stands out with updated finishes and really nice decor. Some of the rooms even have swim-up access, which adds a fun touch. One standout feature in the rooms is the shower—it includes multiple settings like an overhead rain shower, waterfall, body jets, and a handheld wand, which feels a bit spa-like. The pool is also on the smaller side but is well-maintained, with cabanas and umbrellas available. In addition to the main pool there is also a hot tub and the pool by the swim up rooms, although that pool is very small and seems more for the use of the swim up rooms. Service touches were appreciated. My husband and I were celebrating our 30th anniversary. The resort left us a note with a complementary bottle of champagne waiting for us upon arrival. They also decorated our room with balloons. Our package came with a continental breakfast. The continental breakfast is somewhat limited, but they allow you take a credit to use towards other items on the breakfast menu, which helps. There are multiple dining options on site including several oceanfront dining options. Dune was by far our favorite. As the name suggests it sits on top of the Dunes. They have these private dining spaces with ocean views that add to the intimate feeling. The resort sits outside of the busy area of the island. While there are a few restaurants that you can walk to outside of the resort (or ride to using one of the complementary bicycles), we chose to take a taxi into the shopping area which was a 5 minute car ride. The concierge was always extremely helpful whenever we needed to get a taxi. A taxi to the main shopping area runs about $16 for 2 people. Overall, Windsong is best suited for travelers who value quiet, comfort, and a more intimate setting over a busy resort scene.
