This hotel is superb. ! The beach is exquisite and similar to South of France. A beautiful bay surrounded by hills, greenery and small properties. Beautiful trees provide plenty of shade as do the attentive staff. The sun beds are a little on the low side, but extremely comfortable. The beach is sandy but lots of shingle where sea is and incredibly shallow.
The rooms are wonderfully comfortable, both inside and outside. The food is the best I have tasted in Thailand and breakfasts are a delight. It’s a very relaxing resort although the music from the bar a little on the loud side for my personal taste and the wedding which took place today was quite loud, we then had the option of retreating to our own blissfully quiet pool.
My only gripe is on photos, it appears there is plenty of room to swim. However, all the pools bar 2 are children’s pools and very shallow. That’s great but there is not a designated area for adults wishing to swim or do laps. Today I was hit on the head by a child and father playing frisbee in the deeper pool, when all other pools were empty. Bit frustrating and a huge shame as it could easily be managed. That said , the facilities for children look superb, I may be back with my grandchildren in tow !
One other point to mention regarding the service. In arrival we were given a WhatsApp to text should we require anything. It’s brilliant. Buggies arrive within seconds, pool attendants, water, anything we require , we just text and seconds later, our requests has been responded to. Great to be so well looked after.

A wonderful relaxing stay. Beautiful hotel set in magnificent grounds overlooking the beach. We had a beautiful beach front villa which exceeded our expectations.
The staff here are wonderful and cannot do enough for you and you feel truly pampered and so well looked after. We were lucky to have Tokyo as our butler who was without doubt the best butler we have ever had. We were also well looked after by Golf at the pool who made sure we had everything.
I also had an amazing facial in their beautiful spa
The hotel is approximately 45 mins away from all the restaurants but we ate in the hotel , the Thai restaurant was the best.
Thank you all at Rosewood Phuket

Rosewood Phuket is a true luxury resort in Phuket. I believe the other being Amanpuri that deserves to be considered true luxury.
My stay was very pleasant. I would not go in describing the room or the view as people could see it on website. But I would say their soft product does make up for lack of full panorama ocean view.
Staffs are very well trained and professional. Service is of course top-notched. I can sense that staff working there is full of passion in their job, their happiness is guest satisfaction. So, everything is nice when you have a team full of passion to create a memorable stay for their guests.
I had breakfast, lunch, dinner at their Italian restaurant called Red Sauce. From the sourdough bread-olive oil-balsamic to Lobster pasta, everything is super authentic just like what you can find in Italy. All ingredients are of top quality and chef's skill is a winner. More authentic than several top Italian restaurants in Bangkok.
I only stayed for a night in this trip and yet I am still looking forward to going back to Rosewood Phuket.
Ps. If you enjoy large open space - do book a Villa as Pavillion tends to be rather small.

Good resort especially when traveling with family.
Food, service and spa was amazing!
Some room for improvements :
-Had the beachfront room. The room itself was amazing and homey. However when i arrived there were leaves at the outdoor seating areas , private pool as well as some trash right outside my private walkway to the beach. A plus point for them as they rectified it immediately but at a resort that boasts Aman as their competitor, it should not happen in the first place.
-Breakfast came with my room but they only allow having it at the restaurant and not in the villa(the other option was to forfeit my free breakfast and reorder a new one as room service charge if I want to have breakfast in my villa). This is a first for me and again, should not happen at a resort of this caliber.
Overall I would give it a solid 8/10 due to the amazing food, spa as well as the attentiveness of the housekeeping staffs.

We really loved the size of our villa for the price we paid, cleanliness, access to the beach, nighttime ambiance, and food quality! We also stayed at Amanpuri and the food quality here at the Rosewood made us prefer the Rosewood if we were coming back for a long stay.
The beach area at the Amanpuri was better, and the lobby / pool / room decor at Amanpuri definitely felt a bit more 'elevated' but the food, butler, and huge villas at a great rate made us prefer the Rosewood for any stay longer than a night or two.
The nice thing about the Rosewood over the Amanpuri with the beach though is that there is actual beachfront access for villas here at the Rosewood. You walk out and you're on the beach which was really nice in the mornings and at night for a stroll.
What we think needs improvement to be a 10/10 stay:
+ For our beachfront pool villa, the pool was small, and the tiles made it look not very appealing.
+ The beach area at the Amanpuri was nicer. At Rosewood, lots of random people on the beach and the chairs from the hotel feel very removed from the beach. I think maybe remove the trees/plants separating the hotel from the beach and instead ensure staff keep non hotel guests away, so that at least when using the beach chairs it doesn't feel so separated. Also was more rocky here. Not sure what you can do about that though. However, the waves were not as rough as Amanpuri which was nicer here at the Rosewood and as mentioned you can walk in 10 seconds from your backdoor of the oceanfront villas to the beach.
At night the resort is really gorgeous; they did a great job with lighting and little fires here and there. Restaurants were also very nice and diverse.
Resort felt like they built it last year for the most part; it's very well maintained.
We had a Butler, Tokyo, who was really really amazing. I think the best I've ever had. Thank you Tokyo!
No greeting from a manager on arrival or departure which maybe Rosewood is not as much of a proper luxury chain as I thought? The resort was more or less empty as we arrived right before they were closing for renovations. Never saw a manager the entire stay, whereas at the Amanpuri we saw a manager like 5 times per day.... checking in on us at the bar, the lobby, on arrival, on checkout...
Anyways. If we hadn't stayed at the Amanpuri we probably would have said 10/10 no notes, but I do think they are better here at the Rosewood in many ways, but lacking in a few others. You won't regret your stay at all and I definitely recommend to try the fritto misto at the bar which was our favorite!

The hotel has high privacy and it is built on the hillside, each room has a private pool and like a small suite room with sitting and sleeping area separately. The hotel is really self contained and hotel guests do not need to go outside and can spend the holidays there. I spent 4 days in the hotel, their Thai food restaurant Ta Khai is one of the favourite restaurants we had, some of the ingredients are planted and supply themselves and they are extremely fresh. We spent dinner there 2 nights and the staff can even recognise our names.
I enjoyed a 90mins massage at Asaya spa and during this time they offered 30mins free, so you paid for 60mins to enjoy 90mins massage. If you enjoy massage and spa, I am sure you would not miss this.
And the hotel is so extensive that you always need buggy to drive you to different places. All the buggy boys are so helpful and polite, and one time I dropped my earbuds and the buggy staff noticed and keep them in the lobby. He remembered it and reminded me. This is really customer-focuses service Rosewood Phuket can offer and never has such experience in all other hotel stays until now.
I strongly recommend Rosewood Phuket to you if budget is not your concern, it really values your money.

Our immediate impression on arrival was not great. There was nobody waiting to meet us or take our luggage so we were a little unsure on where to go or what to do. Reception is outdoors so it was a little uncomfortable as it was so hot. When we got settled, the hotel and staff were amazing and always give a 5 star service. Beer looked after us on our first day and on departure. Very kind and polite. Our room was good but we couldn't make use of the outside space due to the overhanging greenery. My husband can't relax if bugs are flying around or anything falls from the trees. Also, it was so hot so the small plunge pool is not enough to cool down. Inside the room, we found the lighting in the shower area too dark as we could not read the toiletry bottles. This was the same in the vanity area, it was too dark to do makeup so I hade to move the mirror and sit on the end of the bed. Our aircon had to be set remotely at 19 as this could not be done from the room. The pool area was great. Golf and Bear looked after us very well and we loved that they provide lots of different cooling snacks throughout the day along with fresh water and cold towels. The food was also great around the pool. We loved the concept of your Thai restaurant but unfortunately did not enjoy the food. However, we loved the Italian restaurant and loved that Luca and Giuseppe would always come and chat to us. They made our evening dining experience and would also come and chat at breakfast. Luca and Bank gave us a lovely send off on our last morning. The hotel promotes sustainability and you can really eat so healthy with lots of healthy options promoted across all menus. They also cater very well for food intolerances. Overall the hotel and staff are fantastic but wish we could take the hotel and drop it in a different location as was thought Phuket was awful.

A beautiful resort with amazing villa rooms well appointed. The staff, of course, are exceptional always smiling and looking after your every need. There are buggies you can call to take you around as there are some steep steps up to various levels. Pools are excellent and so is the beachfront. The dining options in the evening are slightly limited and if you want to eat at the main Thai restaurant book ahead. Food is good. Patong town about ten minutes ride away is very noisy and busy. Recommend this resort.

This is a beautiful hotel in a magical location. The villa we had was beautifully decorated and so much room, stunning. The little pool was a bit disappointing with a sun bed that was incredibly difficult to get onto! But the beautiful room and position made up for that. Also we spent most of the time by the huge main pools. These just need a little lick of paint as do a few other areas. The bar is great and the food at the Thai restaurant is amazing. The breakfast was as good as we've had anywhere, if not the best, everything was so fresh and the service was perfect, and in a stunning location.
From the beach you can walk and watch elephants washing and swimming ( a bit of a tourist attraction but they looked well looked after)

Our stay was absolutely delightful. The hotel is impeccably maintained, but what truly set it apart was the exceptional team. Every member we encountered, particularly Nan the butler, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. The breakfast crew at Red Sauce was fantastic, and Cindy and her team at Ta Khai, the Thai Restaurant, consistently impressed us during our evening meals, which became a regular occurrence. The room was cozy and well-appointed, with housekeeping doing an exemplary job twice a day. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
