A morning swim sure works up the appetite. Luckily, we have two of Jamaica’s most renowned restaurants right on property. Celebrated as Negril’s premiere fine-dining destination, the Rockhouse Restaurant offers new Caribbean cuisine – a lighter, modern interpretation of Jamaica’s classic dishes incorporating local ingredients and some picked from our very own garden. Take a seat and look out over the volcanic cliffs on to the brilliant Caribbean Sea. It won’t take long to discover why it’s called the “Pristine Cove.”
Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, the Rockhouse restaurant was designed to blend seamlessly into the tropical environment. Grab a cup of Blue Mountain coffee and quietly watch the birds in the morning or grab your partner and join us for a romantic candlelit dinner. A welcoming and serene atmosphere awaits any time of day.
Open daily from 8am to 10pm. But don’t worry, if you’d rather not leave your bed room service is also available during these hours.
Honeymooners and romantic travelers praised the Rockhouse and Skylark resorts for their stunning views, luxurious amenities, and exceptional service. The cliffside locations, artfully designed limestone patios, and beautiful ocean views were highlighted as particularly breathtaking. The spa services, especially massages, were highly recommended and described as magical and heavenly. The quality of food and drinks at the resorts received consistent praise, with the local cuisine being described as delicious. The staff were commended for their attentiveness and friendliness, with many visitors feeling like they were coming home on repeat visits. The resorts' free shuttles to the beach and sister properties were also appreciated.
A good friend of mine recommended not only staying at Skylark but also getting a massage at Rockhouse. I had the pleasure of receiving a massage from Tobian, and it was truly magical. The warmth in the space was incredible, and I didn’t want it to end. I’m already booking...
Read Full ReviewAmazing resort. Does take about 2 hours to get there from the airport, so be forewarned. Staff was amazing. Gosset was one of the most helpful during our stay. But everyone we encountered was nice and helpful. Water was clear, property was clean. Room was nice. Pool was well kept...
Read Full ReviewThis is pure cliffside paradise! Limestone staircases and patios are artfully cut into the cliffside, and descend straight into the ocean below. It’s a bit like exploring a sandcastle that’s been around forever. For relaxation, find a choice umbrella & recliner and stake your spot in the sun. We stayed...

When I accidentally lost something, the staff immediately jumped in to help me, no questions asked; such excellent customer service! Respect!
Lovely service, views, swimming in pool and ocean from the cliff side jump off point. Shuttle to seven Mile Beach and the beach resort there was great. All the eating and drinking is great quality. We booked a standard room but didn't spend much time in it because it was...

Read Full ReviewLet's start with the positive notes: * Excellent customer service: We previously planned this trip for 2023 but just a few days before the trip, I was diagnosed with potential (99.5% change of) cancer. Though the definite diagnoses was not given, we naturally had no desire to go there, and...
Read Full ReviewThe resort is amazing. Views are incredible. The food and service at all the restaurants has been amazing. Looking forward to spending the rest of our time the resort and visiting the sister property Slylark. Rooms are spacious and very clean.
Great great location. Great restaurant on the rocks, and great pool too. I loved morning yoga. They have a sister hotel on the beach so you can do both the cliff and the beach experience. Nice spa, busy. To do: sunset drinks at the pool bar, breakfast on the rocks
The views are stunning! This is the perfect place to sit back, relax & disconnect from the world. The accommodations are refreshing rustic, outdoor showers, no TV in our room. Being American, we tend to rely too much on this stuff & the Rockhouse gives us the break we need!
One of my favorite hotels in Jamaica. A must to stay in one of the private rooms on the cliffs. The water is absolutely gorgeous and the staff are wonderful. The restaurants on premise are great (we love the escoveitch fish at Pushcart). You can also take the free shuttle...
