Location , location ,location ! View from our balcony, showed, all the shipping either entering , the Panama Canal,or exiting the Canal. All the Staff spoke English, if needed, and really took care of Us. House keeping was did a great job taking care of our needs. They have a great Breakfast buffet! Reasonably priced . Again the staff, helped us if needed, and engaged in conversation, times. Hotel very clean, a very comfortable, feeling throughout the Hotel. It is very historical property, dating back to 1914! They have a TGIF Friday's, connected to the Hotel, not every good ! It is located at the start of Amador Causeway! We spent a total of 17 days. We will go back, when we travel again, to 🇵🇦

This hotel was one of the best Choice privilege points use I’ve used. We stayed in a King suite for 8,000 points a night in March 2024. The hotel sits right on the canal. We had a wonderful view from room 1304. The first night we were in room 1334. That room’s view is entirely blocked by a very large tree and the room is very musty smelling. The next six nights we moved to room 1304. You walk into a living room that has a dresser with a tv on it, a couch that is a sleeper sofa, an end table, an arm chair, and a desk. There is also a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee pot. There is a bathroom with a tub/shower and then the bedroom is at the back of the room with sliders out to the balcony. This room was not musty smelling. It was clean and comfortable and quite. It’s near the elevator but not next to it. Yes this hotel could use some updating here and there and some maintenance, but over all it’s a nice hotel for the price. The pool was very nice and enjoyable. You can get food served to you at the pool and pool towels are provided. The staff was wonderful and extremely helpful and kind. They spoke English and Spanish. They provided a lot of help with navigating the area. There is a great cafe to get coffee and sandwiches. A hotel bar, hotel restaurant, and TGI Friday on site. The breakfast Buffett is $13.98 each but it was not very flavorful. Parking was free and we felt very safe here. It was a good location near Amador Causeway and the Panama Canal and just outside the hustle and bustle of the city. I only wish they had laundry that you could use. They have laundry service but it is very expensive. You pay per article of clothing. There is not a washer and dryer that you can use on your own. There is a nice laundromat in Casco Viejo but then you have to load up your laundry and wait at the laundromat while you wash and dry. I would stay at this hotel again and we rest well here.

Great hotel location for seeing the ships come & go through the canal . We had an ocean view room - definitely recommend- & could watch the ships with a great view. Food was a bit lacking although we had a lovely meal sitting on the deck of TGI Fridays...

Food was a bit lacking although we had a lovely meal sitting on the deck of TGI Fridays - part of the hotel. The coffee bar had very little food. Restaurant is buffet. Cabs are cheap to local restaurants. BIG Mall a short cab ride away. Pool area is nice, Would recommend

My regular fact based review AC - worked good WiFi - worked good Hot Water in Shower - plenty T-Mobile Service - yes Power Outlets - plenty Towels - soft Sheets - clean Breakfast - did not try it Bed - comfortable Room decor - very plain Room cleanliness - good Daily room cleaning - yes Room turn down services in evening - No Safe for valuables - yes Pool - yes Parking - yes Noise - the halls echo and you can hear it in the room Food in restaurant - one was closed though advertised as open. TFI service was poor Safety in hotel / area - good Maintenance of room - poor (mold in bathroom tub calling). Hotel has potential but it’s run down. Please note that I am a very easy going traveler that has enjoyed the very high-end and 3rd world basics. I have low to medium expectations. It does not take much to make me happy and I get enjoyment out of the little things.

Ask for anything and it will be provided promptly and cheerfully. Actually, they will probably ask you is you need anything before you can even ask. If you want to see the Canal from a pleasant and friendly location, you could not do better.
