This resort is gorgeous and a perfect oasis to recharge! As gorgeous as the facility is, the staff and service here is superior! Always smiling, helpful, grateful - and professional. From David at check-in, Carlos our butler, the servers Eduardo (at Priv lounge) and that entire staff, Freddy and his staff at The Bistro, Jose at the towel hut, and Ricardo the delivery of happiness, to each housekeeping, maintenance and groundskeeper - they're all friendly, welcoming and work hard! Wonderful stay with excursions, great drinks, food, entertainment, laughs and great memories. Highly recommend!

Beautiful resort, I stayed for 2 weeks with my boyfriend and had a wonderful time. the pool is excellent, there are lots of food options, I had no issues at all my entire stay. If I do an all-inclusive again, I will definitely come back here. the staff is AMAZING....

I want to mention Vitalino, Eusebio, Juan, and Gustavo from the pool bar, Melissa and Gabriel and Fernanda and the other entertainers whose names I don't remember, Alejandro, Marciela, Alan, Bernabe, Abraham Escaname, Victoria, and Anelis and Antonio from the casa del mar restaurant. At the ocean coral and turquesa hotel we had great service from Jose Lopez at the beach beds! 5* for his service and attentiveness! From the constant ice cold water refills to the clean towels and overall kindness and attentiveness. Thanks Jose! Muchas gracias!

My wife & I had a wonderful 2 week stay at this resort in the El Beso area. The resort is well maintained and located right on the beach. Our room was spacious and we had no issues with hot water for showers. We enjoyed our dining experience in all the restaurants. What made our vacation more enjoyable was the exceptionally friendly staff, who work very hard to ensure you have an enjoyable time. We would like to give a shout out to the staff at the Bistro where we had breakfast and lunch most days. Thank you Freddie, Ivan, Mayra, Maria, Marisol, and Wilbert!! Also a shout out to Josue at the front desk for his friendly service.

One bad experience can sour the stay. Well after 5 or 6 previous wonderful stays here over the past 20 years, the management of the resort did deliver on a souring our trip. The change to the dinner reservation system now making it not possible for even our butler to reserve a dinner spot at the Privilege Restaurant, largely because the very restrictive seating for dinner only (16 at 6 pm and at 7:30, I think, and not sure about 9 pm). We ate there on all previous visits for dinner with most tables occupied without experiencing excessively slow service. So, the excuse of having small kitchen can only be true in my view if they purposely made the kitchen smaller recently. You might think this petty, but that dinner on our last night is part of our ritual at the resort. Setting this aside, we love the friendly and efficient staff, including Hector our butler, Ricardo the server at the adult pool, Alfredo working with the Spa, etc. The place is clean, well maintained and our food was good quality in all the restaurants for all meals. We loved the food and drink demos by the adult pool. An effortless stay, except for the strange reservation system, which I hope will be scrapped and a return to past dinner reservation system will be exercised. I'll be watching reviews to see if negative comments about the reservation system persist before we return.

We were delighted with the service, particularly the pool personnel, Jose, Pancho, Ivan, Freddy and others who were so accommodating and helpful that we lacked nothing during our stay, providing us with drinks, towels and food regularly.

This is a gem of a hotel.  We loved everything about this place.  We read many reviews before booking and we agree that paying the extra for the priviledge package was well worth it.  The adult pool area was quiet, with just enough entertainment for a pleasant experience.  The hotel...

This is a gem of a hotel.  We loved everything about this place.  We read many reviews before booking and we agree that paying the extra for the priviledge package was well worth it.  The adult pool area was quiet, with just enough entertainment for a pleasant experience.  The hotel area is large, with three pools and several restaurants to choose from.  The entertainment was good, and the staff were attentive and helpful.  A butler was assigned to us with the privilege package.  Jesus, our butler was fantastic, very attentive, and made sure we had reservations each night at the restaurants of choice.  We could text him anytime with questions or special requests and he responded very quickly.  The privilege package had a wide variety of premium alcohol to choose from, and drinks were generously poured. High quality services and top notch amenities are the prime attractions of this hotel.

Just back from a great week at the Ocean Coral and Turquesa. Shout out to Freddy and Ivan who made breakfast and lunch at the El Beso Bistro an obvious choice with super customer service. Ricardo’s poolside service was friendly and attentive. He was noticeably missed when he wasn’t there....

Just back from a great week at the Ocean Coral and Turquesa. Shout out to Freddy and Ivan who made breakfast and lunch at the El Beso Bistro an obvious choice with super customer service. Ricardo’s poolside service was friendly and attentive. He was noticeably missed when he wasn’t there. The restaurants were great with Francisco and Gerardo showing their skills at Sensei and Daniel bringing us great food at Blue Moon. Emily made sure to provide the right level of entertainment at El Beso. The chef giving the ceviche class stood out along with Jesus’s cocktail competition. The flaming specialty coffee show were really fun to watch being made and delicious.

This resort was very nice. The rooms were clean and well-appointed. The service was really good at every turn and the food was quite good and exceeded expectations. If you trying to pick a resort in this price point, this one holds great value. And it is close to airport!

Our week at Ocean Coral & Turquesa PROS: Food was delicious and accomodations (rooms) were cute and clean and Wait staff everywhere (except poolside restaurant, explanation bellow) was wonderful! House keeping and mini bar custodians were exemplary (I was sick for two days and they brought extra water and towels and checked in on me and my husband!) CONS: NO BEACH CHAIRS! (photos online are completely misleading, there is only ONE row of shaded beach loungers and not that many. All loungers are reserved by 6:45AM!) We also had a bad experience at the ''Beach Burger'' restaurant at the pool. We were seated, and then forgotten about (we sat for at least 30 minutes without being seen by the wait staff). No big deal, we were talking and only noticed after realizing that couples who had arrived after us already had their meals. I went to see the waiter politely and asked if he had forgotten us... We waited another 1o minutes to have our order taken. 15 minutes afterthat, our ''beers'' arrived. I used quotations because they were half beer and half club soda SERIOUSLY! We were completely dumbfounded and could not understand what we did to anger them so much. By the time we received our food, ate as fast as possible and walked out, we had been there for over 2 hours. We are always EXTREMELY polite and courteous. Had we done something to deserve such treatment, we would have accepted it and moved on, but it was just completely out of the blue. After speaking with other guests, we got similar stories about the ''not so great'' staff there. Overall we have mixed feelings about the hotel... We (husband and I) booked last minute and our vacation was the week before Canadian spring break, yes it was high season, but we still feel that we overpaid. Although the good parts were great, the cons really left a bad taste in our mouths. We would probably never come back, mostly because of the lack of space at the beach, because the hotel can't be blamed for the crappy behaviour of a few bad eggs.
