The casita (villa) was immaculate, very spacious and private. Service was attentive but not intrusive. The environment around the hotel is exceptionally peaceful and relaxing. Excellent Spa and pools. The restaurant menu options were very good, but perhaps would feel limiting for a stay of more than a week. Apparently a wholly Mexican owned small group, and the consequent attention to design & detail and sincerity of the service shines through in comparison to the usual luxury chains. Although expensive in absolute terms, one of the best value 5* experiences we have ever had. A great end to our tour of Yucatan, with an almost faultless stay.

A truly magical experience, where each day we would discover new features and services as we rode the bicycles, placed at each casita, around the property. The warmth of the staff, from minute one of arrival through to the departing moments was exceptional and authentic. A stunning gym and spa offered amazing treatments that restored not just physical energy but spiritual too. The huge property has natural gardens that are stunning and so well maintained, and the architecture and lighting, complemented with a field of fire flies in the evening really makes you glow and feel like you are walking in a movie set. A luxury and indulgent time indeed. We will definitely return

Beyond excellent. Do not hesitate. The cost may appear high, but the hotel is simply wonderful, and is instead superb value for money. The focus is on excellence at every level, and how guests feel. The villas are incredible and more than we could have hoped for, even better than the photos on the website. It is difficult to adequately capture the atmosphere of the place. Unlike other places, the staff are warm, well-trained and genuinely care about good service. This is evident at all levels from the manager down. The food is excellent; fresh and vibrant, but also trying hard to remain healthy too. The facilities are all to a very high standard, and the grounds truly beautiful, especially the cenote, around which the spa has been built. To sum up, we knew it would be good, but it is beyond excellent. Do not hesitate.

Luxurious hotel / resort in a former hacienda, wide open green spaces so the two bikes at each suite proved essential (although the fleet of chauffeured golf carts were at hand if required to ferry us between restaurants and the spa). Large, roomy suite with indoor / outdoor showers and ample living and storage space. Private plunge pool kept at a welcoming temperature. Few other guests when we arrived although it got busier at the weekend. Service standards = excellent. Three-hour couples spa was top notch. The star of the show is the fine dining restaurant, Ixi’im. Went there three nights running, once with the tasting menu, everything beautifully cooked and served. It’s an inland resort, so no quick coast access and Merida is 45 minutes away. As a destination for a lengthy chillax, hard to bear.

Chable Yucatan was sublime. My wife and I spent 4 fantastic days there. The property is a converted hacienda, with very private casitas and personal plunge pools. Nestled in a jungle setting, it is beautiful. The food was some of the best we've ever had. Luis and Diana were very helpful. Servors Benito and Ricardo were the best. We really enjoyed Benito's jovial demeanor. Fernando was very patient with us trying to stream the Buckeyes game. Lucy taught us traditional Mayan cooking, which was delicious! Servor Juan at restaurant Ixi'im was great. Chable Yucatan was named one of the top 50 resorts in the world, and we certainly agree. Highly recommended!!

There is a reason why this is rated one of the top hotels in the world! The property is perfect in every sense. The room is superb, the Ixi’im restaurant amongst the best we have been to with a tequila collection to die for… had the tequila tasting experience with Luis and the two hour session felt more like a great conversation around tequilas between two friends than anything else. The staff went out of their way to make sure every aspect of our stay was perfect. Special call out to Martha for the photo session! Benito at the Ki’OI was also very attentive. You guys made our 25th wedding anniversary a very special celebration! Promise to be back!

Overall we had a wonderful stay! The property is beautiful. It’s so peaceful, deers roaming around and birds chirping. The high end restaurant on the property is fantastic. The restaurant by the pool overall was very good, some dishes better then others. The garden on the property where some food is grown is impressive. The casita was beautiful. The AC worked well. The shower was fantastic. The bed is really comfortable, We had no issues with mosquitoes or any bugs. I note other reviewers commented on some leaves in the pool. I actually did not mind this or think anything of it considering you are in the forest surrounded by beautiful trees. The staff was all very kind and friendly. They were attentive and thoughtful. The biggest issue I had was with the spa facilities. Given the prices they are charging the facilities should be well maintained. In the ladies locker room all three water options- hot tub, cold plunge and hydrotherapy were not working correctly. The staff was kind enough to allow me in the men’s area which was working. I do note other reviewers have commented on this. A hotel of this level should have working facilities or provide a discount. I had two massages. One was one of the best I have ever had and the other therapist was mediocre. The gym is very nice but there is barely a signal so you can’t really utilize anything on your phone to assist with the workout. The veggie wrap that was packed for the airport was underwhelming. We have stayed at some hotels that provide you will a really nice packed meal for the airport and again at this level this should ne improved. It was surprising that the first night of our stay there was very very loud music blasting for a nearby property. This was confusing given other staff said no one bordered the property. The property has plans to expand and build a kids club. I think this is a terrible idea. I would not pay this pricing to be surrounded by children. It was so nice enjoying the quiet and nature it’s surprising to me that the property would go in this direction. I was told it’s because the owners have a lot of grandchildren. Overall, I would definitely return again before the kids club is finished. It’s an easy ride from Merida and it’s a special place as is.

We are travelling A LOT, have seen SO MANY good Hotels - but THIS HOTEL, undeniably, is one of the VERY BEST that we‘ve ever stayed in… It‘s just simply GORGEOUS ! Set up on the HUGE area of an ancient Hacienda now set up as a beautyfully designed tropical garden, this Hotel offers a certain (limited) number of accomodations in form of small „Casitas“ (houses) offering each private swimming pool, amazing equipments and comfort (no need to go into details - WHATEVER you look for IS GIVEN)… Outmost excellent and attentive services, high quality food and restauration, VERY friendly staff… The prizes might be a bit higher than in usual 5 Star Hotels - BUT WHAT YOU GET FOR YOUR MONEY IS WORTH IT !

A beautiful experience, rooms were gorgeous, massive & very comfortable. Food excellent but an option for half board would be a good idea as there are no restaurants nearby. Massage was excellent, golf course a bit of a joke ! Staff superb . Great architecture incorporating the old buildings . Decor fabulous

One of the best hotel experiences we ever had
The rooms surrounded by jungle are really beautiful and well designed for guest comfort. The resort is very peaceful and well maintained. Both restaurants are excellent and the service very friendly and professional.
Everything is above expectations, al the personal has the competences and attitude to perform as the highest level. Las casitas are very comfortable, well maintained and clean. The service they provide in the restaurante and the Spa is above the level I have received in any other hotel.

The Mayan culture and historic hacienda are infused in everything you do- making your experience very special. Both the contemporary and Mayan cooking class were excellent, informative and interesting. The restaurants are delicious especially Ix’im. The staff is lovely, friendly and accommodating. The spa is great, beautiful and relaxing. I loved all my spa services and the people who did them. The yoga class by the Cenote was very special. it is a place you want to return to.

Chablé is located on a former hacienda that has been beautifully renovated. All rooms consist of spacious and private Casitas. The domain itself is beautiful and is very well maintained. They have two restaurants including one Ixi’im operated by chef a Jorge Vallejo who’s been awarded a Michelin star. The restaurant has an impressive collection of Tequila bottles one of the largest in the world. Another restaurant is located on the property which is decent but has less panache. There’s little to fault at Chablé Yucatán there’s attention to detail in every aspect of your stay. The Spa is beautiful and spacious. The massage I had at the spa was one of the best I have ever received. One thing though is that it has limited hydrotherapy facilities with one dry sauna and a few jacuzzi. I didn’t see a steam room although I might have missed it. One peculiar thing is that access to the hydrotherapy area is through the women’s changing room; a spa butler accompanies you and probably made sure that it was empty prior to access but it felt a little weird. Note that you’re surrounded by nature and although we didn’t encounter animal exotic wildlife, birds are very lively including at night so light sleepers beware and bring some earplugs. There are a few mosquitos but surprisingly very few of them given that you’re actually in the jungle. There’s plenty of bars with fantastic cocktails including one that we didn’t try that offer fine spirits and cigars. The service was impeccable and the concierge service goes above and beyond to provide assistance and guidance. One thing that did bother me was the pool in our casita was always filled with leaves and particles were gathering at the bottom, they cleaned it with every room service but I think a more powerful filtration system or automated vacuum could be a good addition.
