Room is comfortable and well appointed. High quality linens and amenities. Ensures that the sleep is sweet!!
Breakfast has a decent spread of European, American and Asian choices.
Location is walking distance to Duomo and Galleria and the surrounding shopping.
Enjoyable stay but comes at a stiff price. But well worth it !

The worst service I have ever experienced. This simply is not a 5 star hotel by European standards. Sorry. I wonder how they got their rating. The waitress was lying about the booking and did not welcome our external guests who joined us. I will never stay at a Mandarin...

We had booked the MO Milan-Lake Como package, first in Milan. The Milan MO is elegant and quiet despite being in city center moments away from Opera House, Galleria, and Cathedral. Concierge organized a superb guide Esther for 2 hour morning walking tour of these sites and afternoon excursion to Foundation Prada. Our junior suite room was spacious and comfortable. Cocktails at the bar are not to be missed both for the expert, friendly mixologist and well dressed clientele. Breakfast in the exquisite garden was so relaxing with a generous buffet of many delights. We did dinner at each of the restaurants. The Seta 2 Michelin star dinner is a performance! Can’t forget the glamorous, friendly and ever present GM (Stephanie?) who was icing on the cake. Sad to leave but on to the equally amazing MO Como!

Throughout the years I have been in many MO properties around the world , after the experince we had with this hotel we have decided this is our last stay with MO , they simply lost me as a customer
There is nothing special with the room or the hotel, small lobby you dont expect to see in high end hotel , the room was old to say the least
we found cracks in the floor and the door knob was broken, usb and electric points in the bedside table weren't working as well as the water kettle ( we stayed in room 203 )
If you are fine with paying 1500 usd per day for such a room please go ahead and book the MO Milan
My true unpleasant experience was in the hotel resturant where we took our breakfast.
in our first day we had to request our hot beverages 4 times again if you don't mind waiting for your drinks for 30 min and repeatedly asking for it than go ahead and this is your hotel
In the breakfast buffet there is a covered section the waiter told my wife its also self service he then gave her his back to immediately self another guest with that section! What a joke !
One I complained to the duty manager abt the room and the resturant experince he was very apologetic and we even found some tea in the room when we returned that night as gesture of good well
But my experince in the resturant never got better , in the following days everytime I order something I needed to repeatedly order it or I will never recieve it, in my last morning I asked them to send the dish back as I already waited too long for it and I had already finished my food ( after asking 3 waiters for that order) I saw the waiter informing the resturant manager of this issue but as I expected he didn't bother addressing the issue
When I checked out I informed the reception staff of my my experince he truly seemed to be uninterested.
If you are okey with such a service in a very old hotel than you found your hotel

Staying here was one of the highlights of our trip to Milan. The hotel is tucked away on a side street right off the fashion district, and our room had a view out to the spires of the Duomo. The room was great: comfy bed, beautiful bathroom, lots of closet space. Even better was the indoor pool and spa area in the basement — it was soothing to swim and relax there, especially after we arrived from the hubbub of Rome.
I also need to mention the breakfast buffet: very nice range of options, including the best pastry selection of anywhere we stayed in our 2 weeks in Italy.
