Brilliant hotel very clean, friendly staff, no shortage of food or drink. On our visit in March, the large swimming pool had been emptied and refurbished, all the decking on the pier was being replaced, new cabanas on the beach. We have booked to return in October with grandchildren.
Brilliant hotel and amazing staff. Very clean - everywhere! Would definitely recommend this hotel. The food is delightful
Trust me, there isn't anything that is too much trouble - they are sooo helpful. We have already booked to return in October, we loved our stay here.

The Liberty Lara is Fantastic hotel with a cruise ship Layout & feel, plenty of amenities & no need to leave the hotel grounds…for a week of relaxation in the Turkish sun it has been brilliant. Situated right on the edge of the beach, this hotel is Well worthy of its 5 stars. The staff, food & drinks offering & spacious pool areas really made this hotel somewhere I would definitley return to for a week of switching off! However don’t be deceived by the “resort” location aspect shown online for this hotel.
Service - could not fault the service of the staff at Liberty Lara, from a welcome drink on arrival to a coffee before leaving in the lobby…nothing at all was a problem. All the staff seemed happy & pleased to see you and always said hello. The waiters around the pool were always walking around the sun-lounger area ready to refresh your drinks. The staff on the bars were all friendly happy to help. The staff at the main restaurant all work super hard to make sure you have enough drinks throughout your meals.
Rooms - I would have definitley rated this hotel full if it wasn’t for the first room we were placed in, which was a family interconnecting room with a door to another room. We had chosen a standard over a promo available room for this holiday so was hoping it wouldn’t be an interconnecting room, however this wouldn’t have been a problem if it not for the neighbours as the room itself was clean, tidy & spacious enough for two people. This hotel seems very popular with Germans & sadly the people in the room next to us were arguing and speaking loudly all night…every night, Which could be heard through the doorway. After 3 nights of this we spoke with staff & they were happy to move us to another room…Which was much quieter, larger & had a better balcony area. I would recommend to anyone placed in an interconnecting room to ask to be moved to a standard room if you want a peaceful nights sleep.
Food - one of the reasons I booked this hotel was for the 5 star reviews on the food offerings. There really is something for everyone at breakfast, lunch & dinner. We visited the Liberty Lara in February/March 2025 & at this time of year they run on their winter programme. So not all food options throughout the day are available. However there was enough on offer for us to have delicious food Throughout the day. Breakfast had great omelettes & scrambled eggs (they do not serve pork in Turkey so sausages were frankfurter hot dogs) there was a great range of bakery items, cereals, breads & cooked breakfast options available to suit any taste. Lunch was also a fantastic variety of foods. With chips, rice & potato’s being on every day & a variety of meats, salads, prepared vegetable dishes & pizzas, as-well as some amazing cakes & ice cream (a must try!). The evening dinner was a great offering with everything available at lunch & some traditional Turkish, Russian & German meal options available. I managed to try something different with regard to meats most nights through our weeks stay. There is also a snack bar which usually opens at 3.30 offering a selection of sandwiches & patisserie style cakes - which go brilliantly with a coffee! Overall The food was a real highlight and well worthy of its glowing reviews online.
Pool area - As we visited the Liberty Lara in February - this is considered low season in Turkey. So a lot of the pool areas, the water slides & pier on the beach were closed (this isn’t advertised well online Howvwer it’s something to consider when booking for this time of year) as we left they were prepearing the pier & other pool areas so I imagine this will be opening soon. The main pool by the hotel was open (it’s not heated and absolutley freezing!) but a great pool area to sit around and enjoy drinks in the daytime. The indoor pool was open & has a sauna & Turkish bath attached to it. The water was nice and warm in there & was great to have the option to swim at this cooler time of year. I imagine when all
Pool areas & slides are functioning it would be absolutely fantastic!
Location - I didn’t want to rate the hotel
Based on just location, as I feel the hotel was absolutely faultless. However I do feel Lara Beach is sold online as more of a typical holiday resort than it actually is. I would class Lara Beach as the kind of place to go if you aren’t overly bothered about leaving your hotel. The resort itself is made up of a dual carriageway lined with large vegas style hotels. I’m not sure if it would get more lively in season however the only entertainment outside of the hotel grounds were the “real fake” designer shops, pharmacy’s & what felt like abandoned shopping centres. I feel online this resort is advertised as a holiday resort in its own right, however Antalya is actually a good 40 minutes taxi ride away & there isn’t really much to do in the local area at all. The beach pier was closed as it is still classed as low season. We did take a taxi to Land Of Legends which isn’t too far away (about 20 minutes in a taxi). And worth a visit for a change of scenery.
In review, The Liberty Lara is an excellent 5 star hotel with amazing food, staff & rooms. We highly enjoyed our week’s break here as it was just what we needed for a week of relaxing in the hotel. I Would Definitley return again, However would like to try in higher season to make use of all the facilities at the resort. If you are looking for a great all round hotel in Turkey that provides both excellent service, food & grounds & aren’t really bothered about leaving the hotel then I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel.

The hotel is very accommodating, even in off peak seasons. This is our second time here and it’s such a good value for money. Although one of the pools, some addition restaurants and the pier are not up around this time, the stay is still fantastic. The food is excellent, a lot to choose from and it’s all tasty. The drinks are lovely. The desserts are astounding. The staff are always extremely friendly and competent, the service here is amazing. The hotel is well kept and the rooms are clean and modern. The bed is extremely comfortable and the bathrooms are satisfactory. There are shops within the hotel, it caters for everything and everyone. I couldn’t recommend this place anymore for a relaxing, chilled out holiday.

I had already wrote a review of this hotel when I was there but now I’m back home and can reflect on the whole week I wanted to post another one.
Firstly the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, inside and out. I highly recommend booking a room with a sea view, waking up to that view in the morning really does put a smile on your face.
The rooms are really nice, beds are super comfortable & the rooms also have a bath and a shower which for me was a big bonus! They are also cleaned daily, mini bar in the room along with tea and coffee facilities which is also restocked daily.
The food here I couldn’t fault it, there is something to cater to everyone’s tastes, and I never tried anything I didn’t like, we really enjoyed the food. Wide variety of hot/cold foods, meat options & veggie options, lots of fruit and desserts available and the desserts were delicious!
The drinks, alcohol is all branded imported drinks. Merve at the lobby bar made the best cocktails!!
Entertainment was good, there was something different on every night, we had came out to Antalya out of season time, I imagine the entertainment would be even better during peak season. Ferdi on the entertainment team was great, very entertaining and funny guy. Also really friendly and nice to speak to in general.
Mr Mustafa and Mr Mertcan at guest relations are a credit to the hotel, 2 very helpful guys, very attentive and always made sure guests were happy, always asking if we needed anything, if we had any issues they could solve for us, I like how they always showed face around the hotel to take the time to sit and speak to guests rather than just sitting at their desk all day waiting on people to approach them.
We booked the Italian a la carte which was one of the best meals we had had. 6 courses which were all beautiful, service in the restaurant was also 10/10. When we had booked the restaurant with guest relations we explained that we were on our baby moon so they had the table decorated for us which was a lovely gesture.
The spa in the hotel is the best spa I have ever been to in Turkey!!! I am 7 months pregnant and my body was aching all over and the treatment I had done at the spa made me feel so much better, I enjoyed it that much that I booked in for a second. For what you get I also think the prices are reasonable, spa facilities are free to use, treatments such as massage, facial etc come at an additional cost but 100% worth it in my opinion.
The staff are all very friendly and helpful, very respectful towards guests and can’t do enough for you. They work so hard and they all do it with a smile on their faces.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of going to Antalya, there is no need to leave the hotel unless you’re wanting to do excursions etc. They have everything you possibly need under the one roof including shops, a nightclub, multiple bars, restaurants, beach. I can only imagine what this hotel has to offer in the summer months if it’s this good during the winter.
We will 100% be returning. Thank you Liberty Lara for giving us the best baby moon, can’t wait to bring my baby boy back with me. See you all again soon!!

From the warm and welcoming staff to the spotless rooms and the outstanding buffet, every aspect of our stay exceeded expectations.
One of the highlights was our visit to the spa, where we opted for the Piece of Mind massage. Rini and Melani were absolutely incredible, making the experience even more relaxing and enjoyable.
Since we visited during the off-season, we didn’t get to explore all the activities and restaurants available, but that only gives us more reason to return. We can’t wait to experience everything this amazing hotel has to offer!

I’m staying in liberty at the moment with my husband, we have been here for 3 days now and were thoroughly enjoying it, I don’t usually enjoy all inclusives because usually I always have an issue with the food or drinks, however I booked this hotel after seeing many good reviews and I’m so glad I did, the food and drinks are amazing, I haven’t been disappointed once with anything I’ve had here. The food caters to everyone. The hotel itself it’s beautiful and there are a lot of activities, even for being winter there is still a lot on, I haven’t felt the need to leave the hotel at all to go anywhere. Also there is a market & some shops in the hotel for clothes, bags etc.
The rooms are cleaned daily, and the maids are happy to come back later in the afternoon if you don’t want to wake up too early which is really good.
Anything you need guest relations are open until 12am to assist you, Mr Mertcan and Mr Mustafa are both very friendly and helpful and they have made our stay stress free and enjoyable :)
I recommend this hotel to everyone, couples, families & friends.
We will definitely be coming back next summer when our baby boy is born.
Thank you Liberty for making our holiday extra special!!

The restaurant service was poor they have no organisation with who’s on the list for a table. I left two days early because of how poor I was getting treat.
Valentine’s Day we booked a table and couldn’t eat the food as it was bland and cold. We walked out and still got charged.

Wow what a great hotel. From entering the impressive marble reception the staff were so attentive. Spotlessly clean, the cleaners were bustling around cleaning floors etc all day. The bars were well stocked with any drinks you can think of and as soon as you sit down a staff member appears by your side to take your order. Nothing is too much trouble, staff always asking if you need anything. The restaurant has so much choice we never had the same thing twice. The pool areas are large and staff quickly on hand to bring out more beds when needed. A private beach with security guard at the entrance. The only complaint I would have is with other guests smoking - even though some areas say no smoking ignorant people still sit there smoking but that's not the hotels fault that they are ignorant. We are here at the moment and Would definitely return without hesitation.

Liberty Lara, Antaliya, March 12 to March 18th. An amazing stay with all including dear Mercant with tge nice accent 🤗🤗🤗
Liberty lara beats other places only with their staff behavior. You can see them everywhere, on breakfast, lunch, dinner, bars, etc. and they always have smile on their faces.
Food was amazing.
I recommend a hot jacuzzi to be added to all these beauties.

I have been to this hotel before and many of my friends come, but this is the last time I will never come again, the problems from last year continue, I stayed for 7 days last year and could not use the a la carte, this year I wanted to use it and went to the lobby again but I could not see anyone at the guest relation, then the manager Gunay came, his hands in his pockets, he is disrespectful to the people in front of him, he has a phone in his ear, he does not know how to talk to people, it is painful as Liberty, he talks to me and the phone, he makes the people there give orders, he is arrogant, I told him I wanted to talk to the general manager, he said here is no general manager in this hotel but I knew it. If you have any problems in this hotel, no one will help you, and they will blame you, your holiday will be bad.

We stayed the Liberty Lara from 17/03 - 24/03/25. We arrived late at around 1am, check in was quick and efficient with friendly reception staff.
I will break my review down into sections to hopefully make your reading experience more pleasurable.
Rooms
We requested a first floor room and were delighted to recieve room number 1123. The view from the balcony was overlooking the car park and football pitch, certainly not the best, but this didnt bother us in the slightest as it allowed easy access to the reception area.
The room was big enough for our needs, I liked the TV in the mirror and lights in the ceiling. Wardrobe space was more than adequate, as a tip maybe bring a few hangers, I brought six and with the hangers supplied this was fine for our needs for a weeks stay.
The bathroom is ok, not to big but has a lovely bath with a shower in it that allows good temperature control and power from the shower. Shower gel etc is supplied but we didnt use them as we prefer to bring our own.
The bed is quite comfy and tea and coffee is supplied, the room has a safe, but sadly no iron and ironing board. I usually prefer to iron daily, but as I was aware of this in advance I ironed at home and left garments to wear in the bathroom with the shower on at full heat to get rid of any creases. I think the hotel should consider putting irons and ironing boards in the rooms going forward as they should really be staple requirements for any 5 star hotel.
I believe you can hire an ironing board and iron at a cost but for me that is a cost I cannot justify.
the hotel itself is very nice and comfortable, the lifts are fast and nice looking.
Bars
The lobby bar was great, I have to give shout outs to Sultan the waitress and also Bulent the bar man, Both were always exmplary in their duties and attentive, plus of course tips help make your holiday better. Tip are not essential but very much appreciated.
The music bar ouside was decent, service here isnt as good but still adequete.
Food
We only ate at the buffet so cant commment on the ala cartes, however the buffet food was laways very nice and enjoyable, all the waiting staff were friendly and attentive, especially Mehmet.
Nightclub
We enjoyed most nights there, again bar staff were great but music could do with some variation.
Pools
The heated outdoor and indoor pool were great, the others were freezing but we were off season so that was to be expected, the pool areas are beautiful surrounded by trees and always spotlessly clean.
Entertainment
The entrtainment team are friendly and not pushy, I really enjoyed darts one day and the crossbar challenge followed by a 7 a side game of football, organised by the awesome Batuhan or as I called him the Ankara Maradonna. The other Batuhan was also very friendly.
The Drifters tribute night was honestly outstanding, the energy these guys brought to the show blew my mind, I highly recommend you stay and enjoy the whole night when they are on.
Karaoke was fun and well organised by Ferdi and the magic show was nuts.
Overall Thoughts and Conclusion
I believe its one of the smaller hotels in lara Beach so they play to their strengths with the customer experience and service, the sunbeds are very comfortable and pretty much all the staff are friendly.
Mustafa the guts relations manager is very nice person and it was great to see him walking around talking to guests.
I think one area the hotel, and to be honest all Turkish hotels fall down on is the lack of available money changing.
In Mexico I can change ten or twenty pound equivalent notes to smaller denominations, ie one or two pound note equiivalents, this option is not available here which can be frustating as I prefer to tip mutiple staff in smaller denominations.
I found that as most my notes were 200 lira I would hev to be selective as I budget around 15 pounds a night for tips, I really think if the hotel could offer a note changing service or machinne it would be well appreciated.
However, these small gripes aside I can honestly say I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here, and will return. If you are one to pick holes In minor details such as a mark on a tile, or occasionally less than one hundred per cent happy staff member then pay 3 times as much and book a Barut hotel, but if you are a nice person who can enjoy a holiday for what it is and consider and appreciate great value for money then please dont hesitate to book up.

Everything is amazing here, we really enjoyed our time here we would love to come back again soon. Lots of food options the staff is extremely helpful kind and hardwoeking. This is definitely an amazing place for winter so thank you so much liberty
Worse all inclusive I've ever experienced, and I never complain but my God..
This is my honest opinion, p.s. I don't drink so the absolutley dire entertainment wasn't for me so no i wasn't drunk at all which is probably why im not blinded by this place, firstly the hotel lobby is the loudest I've ever experienced, if you have an excursion and...
This is my honest opinion, p.s. I don't drink so the absolutley dire entertainment wasn't for me so no i wasn't drunk at all which is probably why im not blinded by this place, firstly the hotel lobby is the loudest I've ever experienced, if you have an excursion and want to get your head down before say 1am/2am you've got no chance, you can hear every slam of every door all night long, ive never stayed in a place like it, its like paper walls and the rooms should be nowhere near the lobby in my opinion - but the layout is the layout and you only find out when you get here of course so you can love or hate it and i for one didnt like it at all, i should of known when i booked something that looks like grenfell tower that it was going terrible, but you live and learn...
Secondly the restaurant and tables are filthy, the staff are some of the rudest inattentive staff members I've ever experienced in an all inclusive hotel, just vile my girlfriend asked for a hot drink whilst we were sat and they just pointed as the machines, might as well cook your own meal as well as it wouldn't be overcooked disgusting cuts of meat if you done it yourself... I don't know if it's the time of the year but I don't believe their isn't enough staff to cope with the amount of people here, I understand it's out of season but at least wipe the tables for gods sake and also put a bloody spoon down on the table, its simple, knife, fork & spoon, bloody hell... also if you believe what they offer in terms of food choice to be 5 star then you haven't really got out much, because the food I thought was awful - the only plus side was the salads, really tasty as most of the veg/salad is overseas its always nicer as its grown naturally out here rather than under lights etc as done in the UK, the omelette was lovely however you need to que for a good half hour for it all whilst people are trying to grab stuff that's situated near the omelette station, it didn't make sense, move any grab and go food away from the que, how hard can that be? Oh and also if you do start laughing and joking you are told to be quiet throughout the day but at night just go wild no one cares, I have never ever been told to be quiet when we are just conversating and laughing, we don't drink as I've mentioned above so this was for me extremely rude, myself and my partner are quiet natured people and we found that ridiculous. The ala carte restaurants mentioned when booking were unavailable, there were 2 options, turkish or italian, where are the others?
The beach is one if the most disgusting beaches Ive ever been on, absolutely covered in litter, plastics all over the place, seems like staff of each hotel just don't care about nature and keeping things clean and tidy also there are no wind breakers and no covers over the beds whatsoever, the cabanas are not available and look under construction i can imagine they will be ready for the summer but why mention all of this when they sell you the holiday in off season, it's a bit of a scam to be honest, also the slides are never on, pools not heated and are ridiculously cold.
We went to the green canyon day out, was really nice to be honest and I was one of the only ones on the boat to jump in, because when in Rome why not haha! So yeah we had a good day there.
I could go on but honestly guys, if you want to know where there are some real 5* hotels just private message me and I will happily forward on details.
I wouldn't come back to the liberty if you paid me to come back, honestly awful.
