What more could you really want? The hotel overlooks the sea just a few minutes stroll from the main part of the town, buses and ferries. The temptation is to stay at the hotel relaxing on the sun loungers by the rooftop pool and bar dropping into the pool when you need to cool down. Breakfasts were very good with a wide range of options. The staff were very obliging and polite. A nice touch was the complimentary bottle of wine in our room on arrival and the complimentary water wax evening. The hotel was exceptionally clean throughout. Would we go to this hotel again? Like a shot, we didn’t really want to leave.

Ask for room 61 🥰 it has an amazing view. The location of the hotel was GREAT… just perfect…. you will be close to the center of Amalfi.

"Good Afternoon...welcome to Hotel Marina Riviera. We have taken the liberty of upgrading your room to our penthouse." That's just what one wants to hear when arriving at the Amalfi coast's premiere hotel. There are so many special touches that this hotel includes, I hope I don't miss them in my details. We arrived in our room which had a large bedroom, living room area, enormous bathroom and complete with our own patio. The entire room overlooked the ocean and was within walking distance of town. The floors were made of beautifully designed tile throughout. The hotel provides you with flip-flops, a tote, and robes. The service was incredible complete with turndown service at night that included water and delightful cookies. Everyone was incredibly polite and caring. We took advantage of the swimming pool, the outside deck where the view was second to none. Each morning, we went downstairs to the patio, where the staff served anything and everything you could want for breakfast. The guests sit on the patio, that overlooks the ocean and the goings on in town...the light breeze, warm air and fabulous fare made for a perfect morning every day. Each day we would walk into town and explore the many incredible shops, restaurants and we also decided to visit the beach. A couple of things to remember: Their beach is actually all stone. Little stones, big stones to downright rocks. So you need to take water shoes if you plan on going into the sea. The sea has extra salinity, so even if you don't swim too well, the water will help you float. The water temperature is lovely and refreshing. You can actually rent an umbrella and chairs if you wish, just ask the front desk personnel. We highly recommend this hotel and all that it has to offer. As a side note, we found that we could actually drink their wine, as in both Italy and France, it's illegal to add nitrites and sulfites to the beverage. So if you get headaches from American wine, now you know why. The Hotel Marina Riviera has a spectacular wine collection.

We stayed at Marina Riviera in early June for our son’s wedding in Amalfi. The hotel is in a great location and is absolutely beautiful! We enjoyed all four days of our stay. Constantino and his staff were professional, courteous and friendly. Our suite was lovely and the view was amazing. Each morning they served an incredible breakfast as a buffet and to order. We highly recommend this hotel and will stay here again when we return!

The staff are the most accommodating people I have ever met in the Hotel business, friendly, engaging and always willing to help. Alphonso on reception was brilliant and gave good recommendations where to go locally as did his other colleagues. The resteraunt staff were utterly faultless and most professional as were the hotel cleaning staff. This has to be one of the best Hotels I’ve ever stayed at.

They even played a favorite Italian song of mine when I mentioned I loved it when I studied a Roma many years ago! Grazie Andrea! The room was so nice, the views were amazing and the walk to the center of town is easy and short! The breakfast was delicious, with a lot of variety and treats! I would say the ONLY thing I would have changed is having a pirate balcony:) But it was an amazing stay! Grazie Mille- Kristina e Marko!

16 Days in Italy , the last 5 based in Amalfi at the Marina Riviera Hotel. Hotel overlooks the bay and the main town of Amalfi with the impressive mountains behind . Views from the rooms are amazing. I found all the staff to be very helpful , very clean rooms and a great terrace for dining . Pool on the roof , good options at breakfast . Complimentary water every day in the rooms . We only eat there once due to trying other places but the menu was diverse enough to suit most (I think ). I have nothing bad to say about the hotel or staff . We were there in April which I think was a better time to visit rather than the height of the season . Will go again . I did notice the amount of vehicle fumes at times , but the coastal road is the main route in and out of Amalfi

This is our last night at the Marina Riviera at the end of a 15 night trip to Puglia, Sorrento and Amalfi. This was the last of four hotels we have stayed in, all of which have been lovely but the Marina Riviera has been the best. It has a lovely boutique feel, super convenient location for Amalfi town, the ferry port and the beach (we had some cold but invigorating dips!). The rooms are spotlessly clean with comfortable beds and a fantastic outlook. We ate in the restaurant on our last night and the food was great, interesting twists on traditional local recipes. Certainly more innovative than a lot of the restaurants in the local area. But the thing that stands out about this hotel above all is the wonderful team that looked after us. A massive thank you to the entire team, including the restaurant and bar, reception, the pool, the porters and housekeeping. Everyone was super friendly and helpful, they really made our stay in Amalfi extra special. Thanks for a wonderful stay! Can’t recommend this hotel enough.

This hotel cannot be faulted, it was super clean and our room (apparently standard) had double aspect sea views, it was spacious and the bathroom huge with lots of towels and toiletries. The breakfast was continental with many varieties of fresh fruits, cheeses, cold meats, breads and loads of sweet pasties. However there was hardly any breads for gluten free requirements. Breakfast could be taken on the terrace ,again with fantastic views. This hotel was within a very short distance to the restaurants and shops. The restaurants were pricy but as expected for this resort. I can recommend the Da Maria, divine home made pasta,

We came as a couple during the start of off season and while there was only about 18 rooms booked out of 60 or so, we still had great service and friendly smiles. We paid about $250 a night but during peak dates they said it would go up to $1k a night. Not sure hotel would be worth that, but all in all you can’t be the location or the views! Stunning!

My husband and I stayed about 2 weeks for our honeymoon! The ENTIRE staff is absolutely amazing and so courteous! The front desk helped plan multiple excursions for us, which made us feel so safe. We did a lemon tour and spent the day with Sal and his family including their adorable farm dog Pocho, a private cooking class with Sal and his family, a couples massage with their sister hotel, and even a private boat tour to Capri with Jackboats.it. Francesco was an amazing boat guide !!! The ENTIRE hotel is spotless!!! The staff works hard daily and they clean 24/7. We were provided with complimentary breakfast daily and at night the staff provided us clean towels/ robes if needed and complimentary waters and treats! They were very accommodating too and even upgraded us to a larger suite!!! We can’t thank them enough! We highly recommend their hotel ! :) :)

Booked via the recommendation of our honeymoon planner Renee with Unforgettable Honeymoons. Renee couldn't have been more helpful in planning our two-week honeymoon in Italy. She is a wonderful sounding board for destination ideas, as she's visited many of these cities herself. She then takes nearly every element of the planning process off your plate. Her thoroughly researched "tips" on activities and destinations to see once in each city were a huge help in scheduling our time appropriately. It was seamless. Highly recommend!

The hotel is in a great location and has beautiful sea views. The rooms are beautifully decorated and super clean. They provide lots of things in the room like snacks and bottled water, as well as toiletries and robes/slippers. The mini bar is well stocked but there is a charge for each item. Breakfast was good, as was the bar and we enjoyed sitting with a drink in the evenings looking out over the town and sea. The staff were friendly but not very helpful when trying to plan excursions or get advice on transport to other towns or cities.

You are minutes from the ferries that will take you to all of the towns along the coast, plus Sorrento and Capri. The terrace restaurant where breakfast is also served has the best view in Amalfi and is very peaceful. The staff are lovely, friendly and helpful with a good sense of humour. A wonderful place for a relaxing holiday.

The best hotel we have ever stayed at! Location was perfect…just a couple minute walk to town and ferry dock. The staff was so helpful and friendly and the service was A+++. The views are incredible, the food is fantastic…just a wonderful hotel. Can’t recommend highly enough!

This boutique hotel overlooks the harbour in Amalfi, set into the hillside it is easily walkable to the centre. I stayed here with my wife in September 2023 to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and we had an amazing experience. Everything about this hotel is first class, the hotel itself is immaculate and the rooms and facilities are perfect. The staff are fantastic, helpful and polite and speak great English if your Italian, like ours is limited. Great wifi (which works unlike many hotels), quiet air conditioning (which works unlike many hotels) it really was a delight to stay here, so don’t hesitate to book this amazing hotel. I’ve stayed in hotels all over the world, Shangri-la, Westin, Grand Hyatt and many more. This place beats them all.

We booked this hotel last year for our honerymoon, and it was the best decision we ever made. Staff were always helpful and kind without being intrusive. Rooms, spotless and oh so comfortable. They even gave us a bottle of prosecco for our room congratulating us for our honeymoon. The staff behind the pool bar, were always on hand to help, bring a drink, get a snack. Special mention to housekeeping, they do a wonderful job. The location was something else, its by far the best view of Amalfi, and was a great place to watch the sun set with a glass of wine. It was also wonderful to be able to have breakfast each morning - the food was delicious! We even had a meal at the hotel one night and the food and wine was incredible. The 7 days sadly flew past, but will certainly be back again to make another memorable memory! Thank you again to all the staff at Hotel Marina Rivera for making our stay so enjoyable.
