Would recommend me this hotel to any of my friends. If we ever go to Vienna again, this will be the place where we will stay. Only minutes from Stephansplatz underground station next to the Cathedral.

Wonderful Stay in the Heart of Vienna

The room was spacious, clean, and despite being across from the elevator, quiet. Kevin at the front desk was very friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to assist my husband and I with an issue early in the morning before our flight back to the US. We've already decided to return to Vienna, and when we do, we'll definitely rebook this hotel!

If we wanted to stay in this area of Vienna again we would certainly stay here. Close to St. Stephen's, Central Cafe, and to the U-Bahn to travel to other parts of the city. Hotel is on a quieter street, just off the very busy and crowded pedestrian area, os it is in a great location.

A beautiful hotel located in the middle of the mall. Close to absolutely everything. Our room was the most spacious we could find in Europe. Wooden floors, large bathroom sitting chairs and double glazed windows. Kettle is not standard in the room but ask the staff and they will gladly provide one as well as cups and saucers. The beds were hard for us however when asked, the hotel provided soft mattress toppers to make our stay perfect. Highly recommend.

My husband & I stayed in Hotel Kaiserin Elizabeth September 5th-8th during our Vienna stop.
I picked 3 hotels before our trip & asked our Viennese tour guide to recommend one of them. She recommended Hotel Kaiserin.
We are so happy that we stayed there.
I exchanged several emails with the hotel before our arrival & they arranged transportation from the airport for us which went very smoothly.
The hotel is absolutely stunning. You feel like you are in a private tiny museum upon your entry toe lobby.
I believe our room was # 403. It was a clean, lovely room with everything that you would need.
Location of the hotel was fabulous. Right in the center of the pedestrian street. You can walk anywhere.
Breakfast room was beautiful & refined. The food was amazing.
The staff of the hotel is what made our stay even more special.
I have to mentioned Katy at the reception. She was always a joy to see & talk to. So friendly & humorous.
Katarina was taking care of us during every breakfast. She was lovely & attentive.
Michele at the reception was a very nice & friendly gentleman.
Overall we had a fantastic time in Vienna that was elevated by Hotel Kaiserin & its wonderful staff.

The position of this hotel in Vienna is perfect. Round the corner is St Stephen's platz and also the underground train system. The hotel is in a small side street off the main street, and it is an easy walk to many of Vienna's sites.
The rooms are bigger than the normal average European hotel, and so it is really comfy as you have enough space to move around.
For me personally the bed was too hard and the pillows too soft, but that is a personal preference which others will love.
The breakfast buffet had a good range with hot and cold items as well as yummy pastries and cakes.
The other good thing about this hotel is that it has tea and coffee facilities in the main downstairs area.
The only reason I am not giving the hotel 5 stars is because I felt the front desk staff were a bit aloof.. very proffessional but not as warm and inviting as they could be and this gave the hotel a bit of detached 'vibe'... but again this is my own personal experience.
I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel if you want a top location and hotel in Vienna.

This was our first visit to this hotel, having previously stayed in other central Vienna hotels. The room was spacious, and had lots of drawer space, something that is important to us, as we carry a lot of medical items with us for our various ailments. Two comfortable armchairs nicely situated near the centre of the room, plus a desk and chair for laptop work. Staff were excellent - in fact everyone and everything was so good that we have booked again for next year.

Hotel was clean and staff were very attentive and assisted with any queries we had. Our flight was delayed a number of times and hotel limousine service worked with our changing schedule at no extra charge.
We did not eat in the hotel so cannot comment. Rooms were of a good size, we had superior double and very comfortable.

Vienna always feels like home to me. There is a magic about this city that I have never found anywhere else and I have stayed here at least twenty times but never before in the Kaiserin Elisabeth. We arrived back yesterday after spending a week there and we liked it so much, we have already booked our return trip - this time for two weeks. The hotel is situated in the best possible location, close to two of the major U-Bahn stations. From Stephansplatz and Karlsplatz the whole of Vienna is within your grasp. Our Superior Double room was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The pillows were so soft and the bed so comfy I slept well and I am not the best sleeper by any means. It was quiet too. All the staff were friendly, helpful and professional and that lounge with the portrays of Sisi and the Emperor was beautiful. This is a lovely hotel where comfort is at the forefront and every customer is treated as a friend. A true taste of Vienna in the heart of this grand and historic city

A lovely hotel right in the center of the action. Right off of a main shopping/restaurant/pedestrian thoroughfare near Stephansplatz, Hotel Kaiserin Elisabeth was a quiet and restful space during our 4 day trip.
I was unfamiliar with the "Viennese" style furnishings of our room, but I really appreciated how elegant and special it felt. Our double-room was perfect for a couple. We enjoyed the extra seating area, desk, and large wardrobe.
Every staff member we interacted with, from the front desk to the breakfast servers to the housekeeping staff was above and beyond nice and helpful. Big shoutout to the staff! Our TV wouldn't turn on and someone came up and fixed it without hesitation.
The hotel feels more "old world" than ultra modern, which may not be everyone's preference, but I ended up really appreciating it.

The breakfast was well stocked and had a great combinations of food. The rooms were elegant and very spacious and the bathroom was truly magnificent.
This placed shined in their customer service, every one at the front desk had smiles and were very helpful. Special shout out to Senka who was so kind, had a wealth of knowledge and a first class smile.
We spent three nights here and will absolutely stay at this hotel when ever we're in Vienna.
