I’ve never given a bad review on here but unfortunately Hotel Fiesta was very disappointing. I booked a room and got emailed the final price including taxes. When I checked in I got charged $81.00 USD extra! Afterwards I realised this and as I was checking out I brought this up to the reception lady and she said that she had mistakenly charged us extra local taxes. Even though we were clearly from New Zealand! But she said there was nothing she could do about it (which she could all she needed to do was refund the $81.00) but instead to send an email to her manager to sort out. I have now sent 3 emails since then but have not had a reply. Extremely unprofessional and dishonest with their customers… at this point they are thieves for stealing money that isn’t theirs and not wanting to return it. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! And also hotel looked nothing like the pictures in real life! Rooms were tiny, gross and old! Even if this hadn’t happened the real rooms are not worth the super expensive prices.

This hotel has basic rooms which were nice and comfortable. The pool is amazing, and breakfast very good. It was helpful to have the potable water cooler provided so that we didn't have to buy bottled water. It is a short walk from the center of town which was very easy to manage. The lagoon nearby was closed for maintenance so we couldn't visit there. The hotel is an affordable and nice place to stay overall.

Pool and bar area very nice. Great for relaxing . One of the nicest pool areas I have seen at this type of hotel. Rooms a bit of a different story. Clean but showing their age. We stayed on two separate occasions and you couldn’t get down one side of the bed in the first room. Wi-Fi is fine in the bar area but if you have a room at the end then no hope of a signal. Didn’t worry us but others might be concerned. Great location just away from noisy area. On our first stay we left early so they did us a packed breakfast which was good.

We stayed for 4 nights and had a lovely time.
The real pluses are the fantastic pool area, very clean with large variety of loungers and great Jacuzzis (albeit a bit hot)
The other real benefit if the great location, 5 minutes walk to town and restaurants, but very quiet and secluded in lovely garden areas.
The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast is brought to you and pretty much the same each day but perfectly adequate.
The only reason I would not give a 5, is that the rooms are a bit basic and feel quite tired. The bed is huge and bedding is very clean. There is however very little storage space beyond a small rail and only one towel hook in the bathroom.
The AC however is very efficient.

Good B and B a few minutes’ walk from the centre of Puerto Ayora. We stayed here for 6 nights in one of the bungalows (spacious, clean, but simple, but avoid the small rooms!). Excellent pool and pretty garden area with plenty of space and shade. The poolside bar was fine, though limited stock, but we brought in our own cava and wine and the staff were happy with this. The breakfast was not very good (coffee poor) and so we went out each morning to eat. Reception staff friendly and efficient and organised a taxi for us to the airport ($25). Fun cocktail bar next door and the Agave restaurant 50 metres away was excellent.

Our stay at the Hotel Fiesta was faultless. I cannot recommend it enough. It’s a short walk to the malecon with bars and restaurants but far enough away for total peace and tranquility. The hotel boosts a wonderful pool and jacuzzi area with a variety of excellent quality sun loungers and furnishings. A small but perfectly stocked bar and a nice breakfast area which served a perfect tropical breakfast.
The rooms were spacious and perfectly air-conditioned.
The staff made it for me, they we’re all incredibly helpful, and always responded with a simile.
I’m not sure what else I can say other than if I get the chance to come back to Galapagos, I’d book the hotel fiesta again in a heartbeat.

This is quite a basic hotel. There are no toiletries in the bathroom, and the room feels like a dorm room. The wifi works only in the common areas and does not reach the rooms. Breakfast is ok but only between 7 and 9am, and if you arrive after 8:45 there is no chance of getting any food. No coffee after 9am. At 9pm, everything switches off, including access to the pool.
To top it off, a lot of work was going on all day, drilling in concrete and sawing/hammering until nearly 8pm even on Sunday.

Poor service with too early check out
Poor service from reception. Check out already 10 am, and NO flexibility about finding solutions with guest. I seems like the reception staff didn’t care about guest and had an arrogant attitude. The hotel can win a lot with better service and flexibility about check out rules

We had a lovely 2 night stay here on our Galápagos tour. The hotel was ideal, a 5 minute walk from the harbour, sea front and restaurants and shops. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel surrounds a lovely pool with an excellent breakfast. We’d stay again.

My wife and I enjoyed a very pleasant 5 night stay at this affordable hotel in Puerto Ayora.
After coming off our amazing Galapagos Islands Cruise, we were looking for a quiet, clean, comfortable and convenient hotel to spend a relaxing 5 days in this part of the Galapagos.
The Hotel Fiesta was just perfect for our wants and needs.
We had a ground floor larger guest room, set just off the main courtyard and pool.
Our room was very clean with a comfortable queen bed. Each room is air conditioned, has a mini fridge, in room safe and with purified water filled each day. The bath is small with shower, but kept clean and tidy.
There is a lovely morning breakfast served each day by friendly staff, with a nice variety of items including; eggs to your liking, fruit, yogurt, toast, coffee and more.
The main pool, the very large jacuzzi and courtyard chairs and loungers, is an added bonus at this hotel. A great place to relax and enjoy the sun and outdoors.
There's also a gazebo in the courtyard with a pool and ping pong table for guests to enjoy.
It should be noted the property is aging and could use a little TLC, but we found our room and the pool, jacuzzi and overall grounds to be very clean by staff.
For a 3 star affordable and convenient hotel in town, you can't go wrong with the Hotel Fiesta.
