Impossible to fault this quality hotel, from the exquisitely beautiful gardens, plentiful places to sit, sunbathe & relax, tasteful decor to the attentive staff. Incredible position overlooking the ocean & sandy beach. Without a doubt an outstanding hotel. Love love love!

This is an ideal hotel for us, which is why we've just returned after our third stay there. Very little has changed during that time, which we like. We stayed in a junior suite with seaview this time and it was excellent. The grounds of the hotel are thoughtfully arranged and kept immaculately clean. There were some new faces and although it is a bit unfair to mention a few when a great many had made our holiday so enjoyable I would like to name some. We always started the day by being greeted by members of the Guest Experience Team including Barbara, who stood out with her warm greetings and her diplomacy trying to satisfy every guest. After that we always wanted to get our breakfast egg from Gaspar who always seemed unfailingly cheerful. After breakfast we'd collect some towels from Jose who encouraged me to practice my Spanish and used his muscles to put up the umbrella, which sadly I can't do anymore. Last, but not least, Miguel would bring us a beer and rosado wine. He was always charming. I think the best endorsement I can give if anyone is thinking of going to the Fariones for the first time is that I have already booked to return for two weeks in February 2026, when I'm sure I'll meet some more staff and hopefully remember their names.

The best massage I’ve had in a decade… the pressure was perfect and Imma was friendly, professional and an expert in her craft. The hotel is a new favourite of ours… we really cannot fault it. Thank you to Imma and the Spa team and the hotel team…. And a special mention for Miguel who is the most attentive and brilliant waiter by the pool!

Fantastic Hotel, beautiful rooms, nothing too much for the staff, everyone so friendly and in a great location, would highly recommend, well worth the money. Beautiful areas for sunbathing and plenty of sun loungers, We will be back, easy to get used to the standards

Our second visit, absolutely amazing couldn't fault it. The junior suite with hotel tub outstanding. Room cleaned daily sometimes twice to a very high standard. It is very rare to find a review about an adapted room anywhere - so we try to pass on feedback for potential disabled guests looking for accessible good quality rooms. We do spend a long time researching carefully to get our holiday needs met. This was our first visit to the Canaries and Lanzarote so we were delighted to find 5* Hotel Fariones. The hotel reviews are all outstanding and we agree with all the comments, so we will concentrate on the needs of the wheelchair guest. Our room was easily reached by a carpeted gentle slope arrangement and all 4 adapted rooms were in the same area. Our room was excellent - with a large accessible balcony overlooking beautiful gardens with Palm trees and with a full sea view. It is very common for adapted rooms to have no view or balcony and to be situated near noisy kitchens or A/C units. The wet room bathroom had everything we required including a shower chair. We requested and obtained a raised toilet seat as the toilet was of a normal height which was too low for my husband. The surrounding streets outside the hotel were uneven and you needed a taxi to venture further so we tended to spend our 2 weeks in the hotel grounds or on our balcony enjoying the beach & sea views. The hotel was not aimed at families (thank you) so we made the most of the relaxing quiet atmosphere. We ate most evenings outside using the bar menu. We did not have sufficient appetite for the expensive buffet in the main restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed the quality musicians each evening playing popular light music. The lounge area had very comfortable seating - it just needed to be kept warmer on the few cool evenings we had. The hotel is open plan from the reception- lounge - bar and open to the exterior gardens so you do need knee rugs to keep warm! The staff wore smart, modern well fitting uniforms and worked hard to give the guest a top class service. Thank you to all of you!

Our meal started out so positively. Our waiter was lovely and the first course really good. It all went horribly wrong with our main course. Again the food was lovely but when we sat down to eat the staff started clearing the buffet away and taking everything into the adjacent kitchen. The noise was horrendous with constant clattering and banging and rather than enjoying our meal it made it completely stressful. My husband and I didn’t finish our main courses and didn’t want deserts as it was just a horrible environment to be in. I pointed this out to our waiter who agreed with us that it was very noisy and he got a manager to come to speak to us. The manager also agreed that it was very noisy and said he would make sure it didn’t happen for any future guests but said we had to pay for the meal even though we could only eat half of it. He offered us a drink in the bar as compensation which we declined. We stressed again that we should not have to pay for the full meal as we were unable to finish it but he insisted we pay or he would call the police. We were extremely disappointed by his attitude and reluctantly paid as it had already become a very stressful evening made much more so by the managers handling of the situation. Rather than trying to make amends for a ruined evening in his restaurant he treated us with contempt like we had done something wrong. My husband and I were both extremely disappointed in our experience at the buffet restaurant and the managements handling of the situation. We felt particularly sorry for the waiter who was left having to take the payment after the manager walked off leaving him to deal with it

We have already been to Hotel Fariones for the second time, and just like the first time, everything was perfect. In particular, we would like to mention the two service staff at the pool, Silvia and Miquel. Their friendliness, warmth, and charming personalities made our days perfect. Saying goodbye to them almost brought us to tears. It is exactly such employees who make a difference in a holiday experience! A thousand thanks to both of them and also to all the other staff!

Hotel in amazing position right on the ocean with access to beach from hotel. . Many options for relaxing within the grounds to enjoy the views, gardens and peace. Staff all very attentive and pleasant. Breakfasts very high quality products catering for all tastes Although there were a few small children this is a hotel catering for adults whch suited us very well. Thankyou to Harriet in the Experiences team who sorted a problem with an organised trip we had booked and quickly resolved our issues organising an alternative within minutes which worked out to be a much better alternative. We shall be back

Second time we’ve stayed here and it was just as good as the first. The hotel is tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. The gardens are beautiful and tranquil. Rooms are clean and airy, from what we could make out all rooms are forward facing do enjoy a good view of pool and/or beach. Staff are a credit to this hotel, all go above and beyond to cater for your every need. We loved the ‘good morning’ from the young pool bar staff who would walk around greeting you to let you know service had commenced. Special recognition to Pedro, who is an asset to the hotel. Food was fantastic, we ate in the pool restaurant, the Asian and Erizo (Asian is a must visit). My only niggle for the week was that we stayed to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and my husbands birthday. I emailed the hotel prior to our stay to advise and booked Erizo to celebrate. My email was acknowledged but no mention was made of my husbands birthday, which disappointed us greatly.

One word ; superb Everything about this hotel is fabulous From the welcome you receive on checking in, to the moment you leave Nothing too much trouble We had a loft suite which was amazing and access to private upstairs pool and would recommend to anyone

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Fariones which we found to be spotlessly clean and very comfortable, with excellent service. The grounds were immaculate and there were lots of places to sit. Access to the beautiful cove was also a bonus. Our room was superb and we loved having a hot tub on the balcony as well as breakfast served in our room every day. We ate in all three restaurants and our only disappointment was the buffet restaurant, which we found to be expensive with a relatively small choice of main courses. Service in all restaurants was very good. The hotel is ideally situated a short distance from the airport with lots of restaurants within walking distance and we enjoyed visiting the old town and harbour. Lanzarote is a lovely island which we explored by car during our stay and we will definitely come back to the Fariones in the future.

We have just returned having spent 5 nights at this lovely Hotel. We found all staff very friendly and very efficient, I would like to mention one in particular, a lovely young lady called Analeila who served us drinks while we watched the Saxophonist, she was excellent at her job, very professional in every way and an asset to this hotel. We found La Barra Restaurant very enjoyable for lunch where we ate 3 times, lovely well presented food, friendly staff and served very quickly. At the beginning of the week ( 2 nights) we found the food at the Buffet Restaurant Luke warm almost cold, which didn’t help due to cold plates, including breakfast I.e baked beans, bacon etc., however from then on the food got hotter and was much more enjoyable. As previously mentioned, the measures of wine differ depending on who was pouring it, they could very easily improve this. Our cleaning Lady and the staff serving drinks around the pool work extremely hard and always with a smile. Overall a lovely holiday would definitely return.
