Harbor View Inn

Excellent location, we booked the partial ocean view but we had a direct view of the harbor. Room was spacious, very clean and well-maintained. Staff was friendly and did not mind that there is not on-site dining as Jeannine's is practically on property.

The Harbor View Inn is a really beautiful facility across the street from the Harbor. Not all rooms have a harbor view, but ours was large and really well appointed, in furniture, accessories, the bathroom/shower area, and the staff was terrific. We did have a balcony and lots of sitting room that was very comfortable. The bed was a comfort, and the location provides easy access to the beach-front walk and downtown shopping, In addition, Jeanine's Restaurant on the property was a great breakfast with a lovely setting.

Very solid 4 star property. Nice staff, rooms newly updates and very clean. Nice property with excellent location for exploring Funk Zone, State Street and waterfront on foot (or bike). No frills here - No drinking water in the room, Gym is serviceable but not amazing, water is not as hot as it could be. But for the price relative to other nearby properties this is a winner. Highly recommend.

The Harbor View Inn was wonderful. It was a joy for my husband and I to meet such a welcoming staff, each and every time we walked in the front door to each time we placed a call into them. To us, that says a lot about an establishment. We had a King size bedroom with balcony overlooking the ocean and Stearns Wharf and what a delight it was. Rooms are exceptionally clean and quiet. We will return to Santa Barbara, CA and the Harbor View Inn, thank you!

We spent 4 nights at the Harbor View Inn in an ocean view room and it was fantastic. We actually originally booked 3 nights but tweaked our plans and added an extra night here, which was no trouble at all. Parking was easy and there was plenty of it. The staff were really helpful and friendly without being intrusive. The room was gorgeous with a beautiful view. I can even forgive the shower water pressure not being great as the bathroom was lovely and well equipped. The hotel is perfectly placed for being in Santa Barbara and we had a wonderful few days relaxing here, enjoying some of the lovely restaurants, taking a whale watching boat trip and generally enjoying the sunshine. I am sure we will return!

We splurged a bit for this trip because it was a special anniversary, and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. The staff at check in and check out were friendly and knowledgeable. The room was spacious and even more beautiful than it appeared online. The property's proximity to shopping and restaurants made it the perfect home base to walk about town. The service was impeccable. The room was magically cleaned and ready for us each day when we returned, regardless of the timing. We loved the wood shutters and room décor. One of my favorite features was the air conditioning. It was practically silent. I'm a light sleeper, so that was a huge plus for me. It's so rare in hotels! We plan to return every year or maybe more. Can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay.

Harbor View Inn is my go to accommodations when in Santa Barbara. I have stayed there THREE times since the 4th of July. I was there most recently at the end of September and enjoyed outstanding, professional, efficient, friendly service by Jocelyne and Mauri at the front desk. They ensured I had a room that met my needs and made me feel like a valued guest. I also want to commend the housekeeping and maintenance staffs that do a tremendous job keeping the rooms and grounds clean and always greet me with big smiles and wishes for an enjoyable day. Yes, the Harbor View Inn is a nice property in a tremendous location, but it is their high-quality, service-oriented staff that will keep me going back. Don't be concerned they don't have an on-site restaurant on their property. Jeannine's Restaurant & Bakery is right next door and serves delicious breakfast and lunch items.
