I am a local and I only went to stay as I was given gift cards for a “staycation”. I thought this would be a nice, little luxury getaway but this was the most disappointing room and experience. I wasted over $300 in gift cards for a basic king room that is comparable to the Hampton Inn or another budget hotel. The room was small, the sheets and towels were incredibly cheap and starchy, and the bathroom shower had no door. The coffee maker was extremely dirty and cheap, as the fridge was the saddest, little old mini fridge that looks like it has been there since the 90s. The robes were tiny, cheap little things and were labeled as “plush” but were the texture and consistency of a thin ridged washcloth. The WiFi did not work, and I had to call the front desk for access using different code. I thought there would be a little elegance as I have stayed at the O’Henry and the Proximity and thought this may be comparable but it’s nowhere near it. I would tell locals to stay far away as this is not worth the cost for one single night. I have not tried the spa, but I would likely regift any future cards I receive for this place as this was truly a terrible experience. Also, I am now out more than $400 until my hold is reversed as they placed the full hold on my credit card in addition to charging my gift cards, so that’s disappointing as well…not sure the point of the cards if they are going to go ahead and take the full amount as well. I would stay far far away if you are local. Go enjoy something with actual luxury for the same cost as this was a complete waste.

My husband and I had the absolute best time having our wedding at the Grandover Resort. Beautiful location, spacious hotel rooms, friendly and communicative staff (especially Rebekah)! Our friends and family loved the wedding venue. The immaculate grounds were absolutely stunning and gave us some amazing photos! The staff were so welcoming and friendly! Rebekah was more than willing to work with us especially since we had some more unique aspects to the wedding ie boba hour (in lieu of cocktail hour), lion dancers, and a traditional tea ceremony. If you are considering this location, go ahead and book it! They were fabulous to work with and we still have friend and family raving about our wedding!

Outstanding resort! This was our second time staying at this location and it was great again. The staff was amazing and assisted our needs. The various food locations on property were great. We utilized each restaurant while there. We will back be!

We have travelled all over the world but we have never had such welcoming service by hotel staff. Stephanie in reception was amazing in helping me to set up my surprise marriage proposal to my girlfriend. The service from all of the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful above and beyond. The spa was beautiful and the food and setting of the Finial restaurant was memorable. We can’t wait to return!

My hubs and I stumbled on this hotel with Trip Advisor. We were unsure what to expect but it was amazing. The room was clean, crisp, and comfortable. Check in was quick and easy with plenty of parking. You can play golf, pool, tennis, & work out!
