Really nice resort, beautiful grounds, excellent service, many food options and quality is very good. The waterfront area is wonderful with great snorkeling and tons of fish, plenty of free day beds and three outdoor restaurants, buffet for breakfast and lunch, grille and cerviche place serving excellent shrimp tacos. We were upgraded to a Master Suite upon check in and had a nice ocean view. The new pool is beautiful and the pool by the water is heated! Huge plus. Value also a big plus. Restaurant outdoor seating is epic with major sunset views. Reservations were easy. Choices are Asian, Italian, Mexican. Not too crowded. And no major upsell annoyances.
A couple negatives. 1) Musty smell in room 2) Major construction with loud banging all day till sunset. 3) Entertainment not very good. No live musicians. One night was kareoke. Ugh! 4) Building is a bit dated but it has charm and character. Overall a very good experience.

We recently booked a stay at The Explorean ( having access to FA) restaurants and evening shows! We love the setting at The Explorean along with the morning wake up basket of yummy bread, juice & coffee!
The water for showers was a bit cooler than we liked, despite requesting warmer water, but that didnt devalue our experience at all. Housekeeping was outside our room often enough to keep our rooms stocked with towels, and refreshments for our refrigerator as much as we desired.
We were happy we joined in on the excursions offered while we were there.
It has a nice beach along with great snorkeling.
We looked forward to the nightly shows at Fiesta Americana where bartenders Angel & Harry knew what our drinks were and we never had to wait between refills.
We had a great stay and look forward to returning!

The beach is back opened, and they have done a very nice job, putting in more beds, umbrella’s and foliage. The pier is also opened, which is great for divers etc…The new pool is beautiful. The rooms are large, and very clean. Housekeeping does a great job!
We would like to mention some very, very special staff members, these are the best of the best!
Jose, Glendy, Luis, and Edwin from La Cevicheria BEST fish and shrimp tacos!
Henry and Jorge these bartenders are fantastic.
Aaron waiter on the beach, great service.
Javier and Edgar from Peninsula.
Arturo buffet.
Alejandra hostess at the buffet. Always so kind and helpful.
Isabella and Fernanda hostesses for upstairs restaurants.
Oswaldo at the Mexican restaurant.
Randy at Rosato’s.
Angelica and Brenda concierge service.
Housekeeping was great, but I never seen them, so I didn’t get a name.

We just returned from our first stay at Fiesta Americana and are already planning our next trip. The new pool is gorgeous, the facilities are all really nice and well-decorated, and the food was good for an all-inclusive. We ate at most of the restaurants, and the Italian and Mexican were my favorites. What really sets the resort apart, though, is the level of service from all of the staff. Every single person we interacted with was professional and friendly, and while there were a few standouts, there were no staff that weren’t at least professional.
I had a massage at the spa by Perla, and it was fantastic. Alejandra at the open air restaurant was amazing, too, remembering our names after just one day. Aaron provided us with beverages and food while we sunned ourselves.
We snorkeled a few times right off the hotel sea wall- there’s a nice reef right out front and no need to go anywhere else. My husband went diving and was picked up right at the dock.
We will definitely return in the near future.

We were very excited to return to Cozumel Fiesta Americana, it did not disappoint. We had a Master Suite on the 5th floor. Having 2 bathrooms is very convenient. We also had 2 sets of patio doors leading out to the massive balcony boasting an ocean view. Housekeeping was on point every day. The mini fridge was always restocked with pop, water, beer, & snacks. The pool was just resurfaced this fall. Miguel was fun & brought drinks with a smile & sometimes a dance. No problem getting chairs in the morning. The beach club is a sandy man-made beach with lots of loungers & umbrellas. There are several sets of stairs into the ocean for water activities. Cabanas are free & do not require reservations. There is a pier for boat pickups too. 3 restaurants sit on the beach. The Cervicheria is open for lunch or early dinner - Jose is a wonderful man who provides excellent service. There are servers on the beach- our favorite was Anthony. He brought food, drinks, & kindness. There are 2 bars if you preferred to order in person. The Grill has typical American fare in the form of burgers, chicken, hot dogs, nachos etc. When you’re ready for breakfast the joyful hostess Alejandra greets you with a smile at the Buffet. Inside they have Virginia who hand makes sopes, quesadillas, and tamales. Fiesta Americana offers room service and 3 evening restaurants by reservation via the app. Rosato offers Italian. Cristian is a great waiter & Amanda did a nice job too. If you are in the mood for Asian Edgar @ Pennisula will give you excellent service! The food was fresh and delicious. The Mexican restaurant is very tasty and had yummy tortilla soup. Entertainment in the evening was ok, but not big productions. The Mexican & Carribean dancers were our favorite. In my opinion Fiesta Americana Cozumel offers a fun stay at a fair price. I would recommend for AI beginners or families on a budget.

Overall great. Warm welcome , comfortable rooms. Good solid food, if not always amazing. Sometimes pretty close to amazing. There were a few quirky things, not enough to bring down a star, but I might have given 4 1/2 if that were an option. There was something tricky going on about trying to talk us into an upgrade, which gave me a bad feeling and that was one of the first encounters. They said we had an ocean view, but you would have to strain to see it.
But the facilities were so lovely and varied that we wouldn’t have spent much time in our room looking at the ocean anyway.
The employees worked hard and tried to please, overall great experience.

The staff is top notch Arturo, Gabriel, Edgar, Anani, Perla, Aaron to name a few. The spa is fabulous as well, we ended up getting 2 massages because the first one was so great. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Great snorkeling and tons of seating on the beach. We have absolutely no complaints and cant wait to go back.

We stayed at Fiesta for five nights in December, and it was a very relaxing and rejuvenating experience. Our trip focused primarily on snorkeling in the hotel's small reef, where we saw lots of marine life with vibrant fish, parrotfish, puffers, starfish and white polka-dotted stingrays.
The hotel staff truly went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. A heartfelt thank-you to Teresa, Fernanda, Alejandra, Brenda, Manuel, Antonio, Jose, Eduardo, Louis, Ismael and many more—your hospitality and genuine care made us feel completely at home. I regret not remembering all the names, because every team member contributed to the great service and friendly atmosphere.
The recently renovated pool looked beautiful, though we didn’t use it much as we spent most of our time snorkeling. As for the food, it was abundant and offered great variety. The property has three à la carte restaurants—Asian, Italian, and Mexican—which can be reserved through an app, as well as a main buffet and convenient beach shacks.
Overall, it was a great getaway filled with relaxation, good food and warm hospitality!

We have stayed at several Fiesta Americana resorts and are rewards remembers. The best was Condesa in Cancun so we booked here expecting the same. We had the master suite with plunge pool. The room was nice and the best part of the resort. However the showers only have rain cans with low water pressure. The shampoo and body wash were broke in one shower. The layout is horrible. The buffet is across the street and was closed Saturday night when everyone was trying to go. The three restaurants were full and require reservations so we had to eat room service which is mediocre at best. When checking in we were not told of a concierge or about the rewards club on the 7th floor. 2 days later we asked about it and were told it’s because we booked through Expedia. We did not. We booked direct. There is no currency exchange here. One night there was a spider on the room floor. There is only one bar open at night by the pool and closes early. We asked for a 12 pack of beer and 2 cokes for the room. $34 charge. For what we paid we were extremely disappointed. Being rewards members meant nothing here. The bartenders were friendly but we tip well. Staff is friendly but not helpful. Fiesta Americana should be ashamed of this so called resort. The hotel is not on the beach. I could go on and on but will stop here. I hate giving negative reviews but money could be spent better elsewhere. For what we paid I expected a lot more.

We came for a long weekend trip and it was cut short due to weather back at home but we still had an amazing time. We have been cozumel every year since 2017. We come to cozumel every year with a big group usually in February or March but we find ourselves coming back more often even if it's for a long weekend. This is our 3rd time this year. It was soooo fun to see all the Christmas decorations at the resort and around the island.
We love this resort. Even when the beach front was closed we still came. You can tell they are doing the best they can with everything that has happened. It's so nice to see that they are updating the pools and honestly after having hurricane after hurricane this year they have really done well with fixing any repairs.
Yes, the resort is a work in progress but I think they are doing well despite the circumstances that have been thrown at them.
Even if you take the resort away, we will continue to come back because of the staff. We have been to most of the FA and the service and staff here is unmatched.
All staff are amazing but I want to name a few that have been amazing this time.
Luis-our concierge
Breakfast staff- Arturo, Alejandra, Gabriel, beach servers- Aaron, Anthony
Bartenders- Henry, Enrique, Angel, Edgar
Housekeeping -Gloria
