I stay here about 1 week every month while my husband is out on business. It’s the only hotel with this beautiful lazy river pool. Surrounded by lovely gardens. It’s very homey. The built in coffee and morning/ evening bistro is always fresh and the people who work in this hotel are always nice.
The hotel is backed up to a walking path along the stream, so wildlife is present.
Rooms clean, comfortable. Small frig, microwave in place
If I could ask for anything it would be to change the pillows out. They are uncomfortable. You have to pile 3 together.

This hotel sits back off of the main road in Pigeon Forge, very quite area. Walkable to shops and restaurants. Grounds are well kept with a nice variety of trees, plants and colorful flowers. The lobby is large with a stone fireplace and different seating options. By the elevators were two different infused fresh water dispensers, hit the spot on a hot summer day/evening. Our king room was good size, had a small couch and a balcony overlooking the lazy river and the Pigeon Forge River. Truly appreciated the daily housekeeping during our three night stay. Seemed like there was always someone cleaning the hotel both inside and out, wondering to see they care about the overall maintenance. Plus the hotel had an amazing clean smell. Well appointed outdoor spaces, from firepits, lazy river, corn hole to an indoor pool that had huge garage doors opening up to the outside. A nice added touch having pool towels draped over the chairs surrounding the pool.

Worst stay we’ve ever experienced. I’ll start that I tried contacting the hotel a few days prior to our stay to ask a question about parking. It took me requesting via their telephone prompt system over 12-15 times hitting the prompt for a hotel employee to answer for them to finally pick up. On their site it says that you should contact a manger for trailer parking. The employee who answered told me that they do not allow trailer parking. That’s fine, but then why not just state that on your website rather than telling us to call and speak to a manager? We are a well traveled middle aged couple who stay in hotels 20-25 nights a year. From Judy at check-in to the night Front Desk agent (male) we’ve never been treated more poorly by a hotel staff. We were NOT greeted by Judy when we checked in as she was busy counting money. That’s understandable as she was doing that before we walked up. When she was finished, Zero friendly greeting. No welcome to Marriott, how is your day, just very transactional like. We had an issue with our method of room payment that ended with us having to contact Marriott customer service. We were hind up on 3 different times and finally received some resolution after about 45 minutes into our arrival. They ended up having to directing the hotel on how to accept Marriott gift cards. The assistant manager that we asked for due to Judy being so rude to us couldn’t help but she was pleasant. We received a call later in the evening from Judy explaining that they could now accept our gift cards and refund our debit card. She explained that we could do that at anytime. On the phone call she was a bit more pleasant. So we decided to get that done when we arrived back to the hotel around 9pm. The man working the FD at that time was again not very friendly or welcoming. We explained what we were trying to do and he exclaimed, “you can do that in the morning, not with me” so again we walked off with my wife very upset at just how rude we felt the staff was here. Now comes 3am and my wife goes to the FD/ gift shop for a bottle of milk and again, FD agent is not rude but just not friendly. Its now 4:44am and we’ve determined that we can only sleep with the air conditioning off, because the unit is so loud we cannot sleep with it on. My wife has been up most of the night due to how loud the unit is. I’m now up because it’s hot in our room. At this point we are considering cutting our trip short and going home a day early simply because we do not enjoy being here at all.
